Hi Sabrina thank you for taking the time to answer our questions on SimplySxy. Please share with our readers a little about yourself and where you’re from?
I’m currently an undergraduate pursuing an Economics degree in NTU, turning 21 end of this year! I would love to travel the world if I can, and I absolutely love chocolates!! Chocolate ice cream, cakes, crêpes, anything chocolate.
Having been involved in the modeling and acting industry, generally means being good in makeup. But reality is, I’m far from it. There was once during a recent pageant, I knew nuts about putting on eyeshadow and fake eyelashes, that even the coach who was a guy, nailed it.
I hardly wear makeup unless I really have to. Well, at least I hope it has been presentable enough. I hope to get better in my makeup skills though! Have been watching makeup videos – makeup works magic!
What made you join the Cleo Campus Model Search and how was the experience like?
They were scouting at other universities and polytechnics all except NTU hahahaha, so I just tried my luck. So yeah I guess I was blessed enough to be chosen via online, given that many of the contestants were chosen in person. Though I was the only one from NTU, the other contestants were very friendly!! We could click (:
It was amazingly fun! I had walked for runways and pageants before so I was pretty comfortable! This, however, gave me an opportunity to try out different styles on the runway, and also the gothic look during the Cleo photoshoot. It was a bonus that I bumped into my friend whom I have yet to see for more than 5 years!
Which is the best compliment you have received?
Eating and not being able to put on any weight.
What is your secret to looking so beautiful?
Exercising helps a lot, since young, I used to be committed to ballet, rhythmic gymnastics and swimming where I attained life-saving 2. Being healthy is being beautiful. Until about a year ago where I had lesser time for these, I started backsliding. Hopefully I’ll get to keep up with at least an activity in the near future! A proper skincare regime helps too! I usually use the sunblock before I head out, and apply moisturizer after cleansing my face.

Craziest thing you have ever done or experienced?

Which is the funniest pickup line or attempt a guy has tried to get to know you?
I think pickup lines are rather old school. If it’s used, it’s meant as a joke among my friends and I!
I have encountered pretty epic attempts though. There was once where my friend dragged me along for dinner with her other friends whom I’ve never met before! So there was this one guy who came to sit beside me on several occasions that night from dinner, to shifting locations to play games and cooking supper!
It was pretty funny as to how his friends were trying to wing us too hahahahah.
What is something a guy should never do on a date?
Being a chauvinist.
