    Hello and thank you for having me! I’m 24 this year and I’m from Singapore! I grew up in a really simple family. I have a really supportive mum who really encouraged me to pursue what I love to do!

    What is your beauty regime like to looking so fabulous?

    To be completely honest, I don’t have any beauty regime. I don’t even own face wash. But! I do put on a mask once in awhile, especially when I travel!

    Which is the best compliment you have received?

    I think all compliments are great! I do feel happier when someone compliments my outfits or anything to do with my acting/singing/hosting etc…

    How is a typical weekend like for you?

    Hanging with my friends! Anything from movies, karaoke, coffee to drinks!

    What is your dream superhero to be?

    JEAN GREY!!

    Do you have any phobias?

    I am terrified of butterflies/moths. Dragonflies come next.

    What genre of movie do you enjoy watching most?

    I watch a lot of movies! I like darker themed movies like crime, psychological thrillers etc.. Just not a huge fan of the typical romance movies haha

    My top 3 all time favorite will be 1) Leon the professional, 2) Gia, and 3) Spirited Away

    Is there something you don’t get about guys?

    I feel like there’s a lot of things I don’t get about the human mind in general. Not just for guys!!

    My name is Ning and I’m from Singapore. I’m a freelance make-up artist and I specialize in SFX makeup (yea those gory, nasty looks). I’m an absolute horror/thriller/ mystery movie junkie and I love crime documentaries. YALL I remembered binge-watching Liam Neeson’s movies for 12 hours straight during my school holidays. I love discussing philosophy. It is so compelling and intriguing since there’s no definite answer to the questions. Also, it allows me to view the world in a different perspective and helps me gain a deeper understanding of the person I’m holding the conversation with. I enjoy singing and playing the guitar as well.

    What is your secret to looking so fabulous?

    Thank you. I’m very flattered to receive this question. Hmm….. Just be genuine and kind and your “fabulousness” will shine through.

    Which is the best compliment you have received?

    “You never fail to make me smile and brighten up my day.”

    Where do you usually love to shop from?

    Online! No particular website.

    Have you ever been in an embarrassing moment that is funny when you look back now?

    There are too many moments to recall from. Okay, there was once when I was walking towards the washroom but my eyes were glued to my phone, so I didn’t see the male or female sign. I assumed that the one on my right was for females and I just walked in with my head down. LMAO. The moment when I looked up, I saw 5 males just staring at me. I was shocked to the core and wanted to dig 5 meters into the ground and hide from the world. I just apologized and walked out calmly even though my face was flushed. Yea.. it was pretty bad.

    If you could have a superpower, what will it be?

    Well, I would wanna be able to inject happiness, love and warmth into every being in the world. That’ll hopefully help eradicate crimes and evil atrocities.

    What flavor would you say best describes you?

    Cheesy/chocolaty.

    Funniest or lamest attempt a guy has tried to know you?

    There was this cute guy who asked me to fill up a survey for his ‘school project’ so I agreed. I asked him what is the project about, and he just sent me a screenshot of the “adding new contact” page ahahaha. Yea, we talked on the phone straight after that and I don’t know how it happened, but he’s my partner now!:) Definitely didn’t regret filling up that survey.

    Personality traits: People who are confident, respectful and witty. People who are decisive, caring and take initiative.

    Hey! It’s my pleasure to be able to do this interview. I’m from Singapore, a little red dot in the map. I am currently pursuing a diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

    Is there a fashion style you are most attracted to?

    I like to dress simple and comfortable, most of the time you will find me wearing an oversized t-shirt or a basic top with shorts. I think that dressing in what you’re comfortable in makes you more confident.

    Do you have any hobbies?

    I LOVE to procrastinate (if you count that as a hobby) HAHA! Well, I do not know if exercising is counted as a hobby but I usually do it when I’m free as I think that it’s a good way to relieve stress.

    How much of a foodie are you?

    I’d say that I go for anything that is spicy and salty. As long as it has both of it, I’d finish everything. I love my seaweed shaker fries very much.

    What in life can you not get enough of? 

    I can never get enough of travelling. I love travelling to all kinds of countries and so far the furthest that I’ve been is Europe. I even thought of being a stewardess as I’ll be able to travel often.

    If you could time travel, where will you go and why?

    Probably, Phuket? I’ve been there quite a lot of times with different groups of friends and I’d say that Phuket is a place where you can enjoy life to the fullest.

    Which fictional character do you most relate to?

    I thin I can relate to Garfield. Garfield eats a lot, fears spiders and is always sleepy. I can’t control when I eat, fear of creepy crawlies and you will always find me sleeping.

    What is the funniest or lamest attempt a guy has tried to know you?

    OK so there was once when a guy came up to me and said that I looked familiar and that we’ve met somewhere before. He later asked for my Instagram and started talking to me and said that he wants to see me again to confirm that it’s me. I died.

    Sexy is when someone is confident, mature and know what she/he is doing. Dressing in revealing clothes doesn’t define who you are, but being someone who knows him/herself is.

    Hi Lishan it is a pleasure to feature you on SimplySxy.  Please share with our readers a little about yourself and where you’re from?

    I am a Singaporean Chinese actress, model and yoga teacher. My passion is in the performing arts and I am a certified rescue scuba diver and reiki Master. Since I was a child, I loved arts and craft, writing and was in dance and the choir. Afterwhich I pursued my studies in theatre, drama, media and communications. I love surfing and free diving too and can also hold my breath for over 3 minutes!

    I would love to host yoga and detox retreats all over the world as wellness and travel are what I believe in. The holistic healing arts have helped my recovery from bulimia and depression. Ever since, I have faciliated numerous workshops and taught in Bali, Philippines and Mongolia.

    When did your interest in modeling start?

    It started five years ago when I was 19 and my friends who were amateur photographers wanted to practise their craft on a model. And they asked me and so I tried! My first few shoots were in a Cheongsam at Chinese Gardens in a group photoshoot with multiple models and photographers, in beachwear at Siloso Beach and fashion at Haji Lane by Darren Ong, as well as in a kimono and the Nonya Kebaya by Frank Ho.

    Which is your most memorable photoshoot experience so far?

    I’ve had many fun and crazy shoots but if I had to pick one, it would be the bathtub floral shoot with film maker and producer Arthur Keng @arthurkeng.mov. We bought 5 litres of fresh milk and tons of fake flowers. I was so cold and so hot from trying to figure out the right water temperature in the tub. Nevertheless, I enjoy unique shoots and have also shot an action trailer with him involving fight choreography.

    A close second would be a shoot for Audaash @audaash with creative hair and makeup by Yvonne @vonnylang in a studio setting. I love the Korean inspired trends and working with looks that are extraordinary.

    How do you spend your free time and weekends?

    My weekends are usually packed with teaching yoga, castings, auditions, filming, photoshoots, event modelling and brand ambassador jobs. I also was a scare actress at Universal Studios Singapore for Halloween and was nominated the best swing for my house. For my free time, I enjoy catching up with friends over a good meal, watching art house films, reading books, penning poetry, unwinding with music, playing with my rescue tabby Bobby Brown and planning my next vacation.

    Where do you usually love to shop from?

    These days I enjoy shopping in Bangkok where there are lots of up and coming designers and a cool fashion scene. Otherwise, I have many clothes from TopShop, Brandy Melville, A&F where I first worked and my Instagram sponsors. Since I teach yoga and love the island life, I have items from Lululemon, Teeki, Pink Salt Swim, KBlu and more.

    If you could have a superpower, what will it be?

    I would love invisibility as one and telepathy as another. A little greedy here haha. Wouldn’t it be cool if we could observe what we wanted unnoticed or sneak around? And to communicate without words or mediums.

    Which movie did you watch recently and was it good?

    I watched a period film The Beguiled and Thai film Bad Genius on cheating in exams. Yes they were awesome! I love watching movies alone and I enjoy indie and less mainstream ones that make me think deeply which might not be very palatable to most people. My favourite genre would be psychological thrillers. If a movie gets me thinking and sticks in my mind for a long time, I believe it is worth watching.

    What is the funniest or lamest attempt a guy has tried to know you?

    Hmm I’ve had too many to even choose the best example…

    Drink plenty of water everyday and use sunscreen! Your skin will thank you for that.

    I really love sugary stuff like cakes, chocolates and bubble tea!

    A trip to the amusement park! Fun in the morning, romantic at night!

    What is your fashion style like?

    I would say I’m heads over heels for American styles! I really love how Americans get to layer their apparels and change their outfits according to their seasons!

    What is your secret to looking so fantastic?

    I didn’t know that I do! Hmm, I guess all you really need is self-love and to be confident with yourself because that is what makes you who you are.

    Do you have any guilty pleasures when it comes to food?

    I do, in fact! I’m a sucker for sweet stuff, like extremely sweet things! And I can’t seem to stop after starting!

    What kind of flowers do you like?

    I love daisies, roses, baby’s breath and daffodils.

    If you can be a superhero, who will it be?

    I’d want to be Wonder Woman!

    Have you done anything crazy before and not regret?

    I was scared of the Halloween Horror Night’s setup but I didn’t regret going for that!

    What is your idea of an ideal date? 

    My ideal date would be a simple meal in a café.

    Hello y’all I’m from Singapore! I’m a petite girl standing at only 5”1. I am usually the joker within my clique and loves to laugh really out loud with them.

    Where do you love to shop from?

    Taobao is one my favourite platforms to shop at online, cheap and sometimes you can find really quality clothes at an awesome price. Brands like Topshop and H&M are my next place to go if I want to grab trendy clothes instantly.

    What beauty products do you use to look so fantastic?

    Cleansing is one important step especially for girls who have make up on often. I have been using Cure Natural Aqua Gel to get rid of unwanted dead skin and also helps to gently exfoliate my skin. So I guess this is one of my essential once a week beauty routines to help achieve a softer, smoother and brighter skin. Apart from this, I think basic face sheet masks also plays a part in helping me maintain the moisture I need for my face.

    Do you have any hobbies?

    I love hanging out with my friends and going for karaoke once or twice a week.

    What kind of movies do you enjoy watching?

    Romance and action movies.

    If you can travel anywhere in this world, where will you go?

    London and America are on my top priority list!

    Have you experienced a funny or embarrassing moment before?

    This happened when I was in secondary school during recess time. There is this guy sitting next to me and was talking to his friends saying “Let’s eat really fast and we are going to bash someone up”. The very next moment, I turned my head to the right side and shouted “HUH!! FIGHTING?!?!” (thinking that he was my classmate). Instantly I realized that he was a stranger from another class and I was extremely embarrassed as all eyes were on me. I immediately duck my head down and continue eating.

    What is one thing you don’t understand about guys?

    Well in my own thoughts, I wonder why there are some guys who have to lie to their partners be it an awful or even a white lie. Another common thing is regarding their ego, as to why is it a tough request to forgo it for a minute or even lower their stance to have a more harmonious relationship.

    Hi everyone and thank you SimplySxy for the feature. I’m turning 16 this year and from Singapore. I’ve great passion in art and inspire to be a fashion designer or maybe a part-time tattoo artist in future. Did I tell you I love cats a lot? Yes especially Munchkin, they are just so adorable and hope to own one soon.

    How did you start modeling?

    Omg do I look like one? I’m so honored. Actually I’m not a model but I would love to try to be one. Please, somebody engage me now! I remember I’ve this group of friends who love to do photography and we always venture all over Singapore to do shooting. It was so fun and adventurous. I really missed those days now.

    Do you have any hobbies?

    I guess it will be playing with my make up? I love to try out all kinds of different products and will be very skeptical of how the cosmetic works for me.

    What is your secret to looking so beautiful?

    Oh please, I’m just an average looking girl but thank you!

    Which is your proudest accomplishment so far?

    It will be my artworks. I’ve spent so much time and effort to complete it and I’ve managed to score As for all pieces.

    What do you usually do in your free time?

    Drawing….  Doing workout……  Watching Videos on YouTube….. Oh my, there are just so many things that I would do.

    If you could change anything in this world, what will it be?

    If I could really do this, I hope I could stop global warming and build a thicker ozone layer.

    How will you describe an ideal date?

    An ideal date will be someone who is always there for me when I needed him. Someone who is fun and crazy. Honesty is the most important value.

    I am a proud blueblood of Singapore. Born and raised here and never once regretted it. I am 24 this year and I LOVE ARTS. Meaning practically just the music and dance side, I am not the artsy kind of person when it comes to designing or drawing though. I have done ballet for years since little and Guzheng as-well; a Chinese piano per-se. My love for music and dance never stop since then.

    What made you want to be a DJ?

    When I was little, I remembered how relaxed my Mum would be when I would practice on my Guzheng. I remembered how much she loves it and would to fall asleep; enjoying every bit of it. From that on, I realized that Music itself is magic and never did I know it was my hands that brought relaxation from the instrument through the ears of my Mum. I then thought to myself why not do something even bigger? To even bigger crowds and bring hype to everyone also to get recognize at the same time? Ever since then I always believed that ” It is not about how pretty I am, how sexy I can be or how much make up I have on but how much magic my ears can bring my hands to carry each and every song to deliver to the crowd”.

    Who do you take your inspiration from?

    Definitely, Juicy J and KSMR. I almost died the last Zouk Out because the songs were soooooo good. Trust me, it was the best.

    As the DJ scene is competitive, what makes you unique and different from the other DJs out there?

    Ever since I stepped out right on my own, I have always believed in just one thing. And that one thing made me who I am today. “Never about beauty because beauty is boundless. Never about assets because assets is limitless. BUT MUSIC IS VAST AND IMMEASURABLE” Beauty is just going to have me going for the next 5 years? But music never dies, never ever. Everyone is unique in their ways and so am I. I am Debi and this makes me different; very different.

    If you can collaborate with anyone in this world, who will it be?

    KSHMR! YES PLEASE!

    Do you have any other hobbies?

    Well, Ballet checked! Guzheng checked! I guess the next thing that I love most would to be spending every minute with whatever that I can spare with my loved ones and going on never ending dates with my special someone.

    How much of a foodie are you?

    1-10? I would love to say 11 but I guess 10 will do just fine. Let me share with you this, If I would to have $10 on me, I would spend all $10 on food.

    What is an ideal first date for you? 

    Nothing classy. Nothing heavy. Dinner and booze by the beach I say? Oh and I would love to go for a ride after that.

    Hi everyone! My name is Karen Ashley Ng and I founded Renzze.com (pronounced as Ren-zee) to share my love for travel, photography, beauty, fashion and lifestyle. I love writing, photography and dabbling with all types of creative mediums. My inspirations come from traveling, nature, culture, architecture, food, people, and art. Professionally, I’m a research consultant but currently I’m more vested with running my businesses, Foxhole Cafe and The Pourover Bar.

    How will you describe your fashion style?.

    My fashion style is usually elegant, tasteful, slightly girly with a touch of vintage in the mix. I love classic pieces though I’m open to being bold when the mood calls for it. Quality fabrics that drapes well and feels good on my skin appeals strongly to me.

    What do you enjoy blogging on?

    I first started blogging to live a more intentional life and to develop an eye for spotting meaningful things and articulating them to my reader. As such, my blog has really grown with me through the years. I love blogging about travel and sharing personal pieces together with fashion or lifestyle photos as a way to communicate with my readers.

    What is the best compliment you have received?

    A really close friend whom I have know for half my life told me on my last birthday “You are a wonder woman. You make everything possible with your genuine nature and kind heart. I can’t be more proud to have you in my life and anyone should feel so lucky to have you in theirs.”

    Do you have any other hobbies?

    I love trekking. It takes me away from the grind of daily life and challenges me physically, mentally and spiritually. Many of my treks has also taken me to places where I get to witness the beauty of nature in her purest form while giving me an adrenaline rush from valleys to peaks.

    What is the funniest thing that has happened to you?

    I was shopping in the crowded night markets in Hong Kong when a girl suddenly grabbed my hand and pulled me along through the throngs of people. It took quite a lot of effort from my friend and I to finally stop her and when she turned around, she was horrified that she pulled along the wrong person.

    If you could have a super power, what will it be?

    It’s a tie between controlling time and teleportation.

    How will you describe an ideal date? 

    I like guys that are sweet and honest though being cute is an added bonus. With the right person, any location or activity would be made fun and enjoyable.
