Freelance talent Jiazhen Chan

Hi Jiazhen, it’s a great pleasure to feature you on SimplySxy. Can you share with our readers a little about yourself and where you’re from?

I’m currently 22 this year and I am working in a full time alcohol trade while still working events on a freelance basis. I’ve completed a bachelor degree in Tourism Events and Public Relations.

Do you have any hobbies?

I’m a freelance event talent which includes modeling as well as singing, I’ve been working at a pub as a freelance singer for some years but stopped recently. Being like a common lady who loves to doll up myself, I’m actively in badminton since I was 14.

How will you describe your fashion style?

I am definitely not the lady with the best fashion style but I am always doing my best to be out with my own choice of fashion clothing’s for myself.

What are some must have items in your wardrobe?

Oversized blouse and shorts is a MUST, together with my favourite few pieces of outer wear.

Have you done anything crazy before and not regret?

I’ve pluck out my biggest courage to be part of the alcohol trade being on 22 and still without experience, I’m always learning and picking up new skills to make sure I would not ever regret in my choices to be in this line.

Where can we find you partying on weekends?

I don’t usually party but I drink at different locations due to work purposes

What is your idea of a romantic getaway?

Being in a cosy room with my loved one and enjoying a night of movie marathon.

How did you start in modelling?

From photoshooting 5 years ago and eventually into events and promoting products.

Do you have any hobbies?

Yes, photography, blogging and movies. Snacking too if that counts.

Can you share some beauty secrets to looking so fabulous?

Skin care is really vital for me. I don’t usually put make up when I am out and about. So I take care of my skin pretty well. The inner glow starts from you haha.

What is the naughtiest thing you have ever done and not regret?

Tattoos, piercings and still no regrets. More in the future perhaps.

Which is your outfit of choice if you are going for a sexy look at a party?

Little bodyfit dress and killer heels will do.

If you could play a movie character one day, who will you choose to be?

I would like to be hot geeky scientist in a mystery/crime series.

Priscilia: Hi everyone, I am 23 years old and I’m from sunny Singapore. I am currently waiting for school in Los Angeles, USA. Really excited for that! I love traveling around the world to learn more about other people’s culture! I’m very adventurous! I love learning new things in life and meeting new people out there!

SimplySxy: How will you describe your personal fashion style?

Priscilia: I would say my personal style is chic, bold and classy. I’m always open to stepping out of my comfort zone and switching up my looks. I have so many different pieces in my wardrobe and I love mixing and matching to create different outfits.

SimplySxy: What are some accessories and items you can’t leave home without?

Priscilia: My sunnies, my rings and bracelets. I feel that these accessories spice up my look overall.

SimplySxy: Which is one city you will love to visit but have yet to do so?

Priscilia: Santorini!! It’s so beautiful!

SimplySxy: What is your beauty secret to looking so good?

Priscilia: I would say drink loads and loads of water to keep your skin hydrated and have at least 8 hours of beauty sleep.

SimplySxy: Are you more of a lingerie or bikini girl?

Priscilia: Hmm I would say both? I love going to Victoria’s Secret and La Senza to shop for lingerie.. Especially those with intricate designs on it.. It’s so pretty to look at haha. I love going to the beach too so I’m always in need of new sets of bikini!

SimplySxy: What is the naughtiest thing you have ever done?

Priscilia: Asking a homeless person if I could borrow a dollar just for fun haha..

Yinghui: Hello! I’m from Singapore and I’m currently doing my dip at RP. I believe in astrology! Because I find it pretty accurate hahah. I’m a Virgo by the way!

SimplySxy: How will you describe your personal fashion style?

Yinghui: I’ll always go for something sweet and simple. I feel that I can never pull off rock/sexy style.

SimplySxy: What are some must have items in every girl’s wardrobe?

Yinghui: A dress and a nubra is a must!!! Dress is to go on special dates. And nubra comes in handy when you can see your bra sticking out of your dress or you’re wearing a bare back dress. It is a must for me because it is a major turn off to see your bra sticking out of your clothes

SimplySxy: Which is one city you will love to visit but have yet to do so?

Yinghui: Paris! I think It’s every girl’s dream to go there at least once

SimplySxy: Do you have any hobbies?

Yinghui: Oh yes. I did yoga during my free time with my bff! But I rarely have any free time 🙁

SimplySxy: If you could play any movie character, who will it be?

Yinghui: Nah. I rather be the one that’s watching the movie

SimplySxy: What is your idea of a romantic getaway?

Yinghui: Somewhere that have a clear and clean blue sea water. And there’s a perfect spot without any disturbance and a great view. That would be perfect enough. And definitely a great partner to go with.

Babe of the day: Rachel Goh

SimplySxy: Hi Rachel, thank you very much for your time taken to answer our questions on SimplySxy. Can you share with our readers a little about yourself and where you’re from?

Rachel: Hi, thank you for having me. I was born in Malaysia but raised in Singapore since young. I’m hitting 20 in November and I’m currently working as a broker in the agriculture commodities industry.

SimplySxy: How will you describe your personal fashion style?

Rachel: Hmmm, I would say it’s classicists/minimalistic. Often, I stick to my staples. Sometimes, when I feel like it, I might just throw on something bright or fun. Of course, I still do try to switch it up once in awhile and try out other styles.

SimplySxy: What will be your choice of style if you are going for the sexy look?

Rachel: I will say I will go for the LBD look or pair a crop with jeans.

SimplySxy: Where will we most likely find you partying away on a Saturday night?

Rachel: Hahaha, you will most probably find me lounging around my apartment, watching movies in bed. Otherwise, I’m most likely to be catching up with my girlfriends.

SimplySxy: Your favourite alcoholic drink?

Rachel: I really enjoy pina colada when I’m just chilling by the seaside, but most of the time, you’d probably see me grabbing a beer. If I’m feeling extra fancy, then scotch on the rocks.

SimplySxy: Can you share with us 3 fun facts about yourself?

Rachel: I achieved my black belt in Taekwondo when I was 16. Second, I can actually sleep for one whole day, which I meant full on 24hours, and not wake up for a tiny bit. Lastly, I’m a glutton, I like to explore around for good food.

SimplySxy: What is the craziest thing you have ever done?

Rachel: I don’t think I’ve ever done anything crazy after going through 20 years of life.

SimplySxy: It’s been a great pleasure to have you on SimplySxy, Rachel. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”?

Rachel: Wearing lesser clothes doesn’t mean sexy, well at least to me. I see sexiness in one where they love every inch of themselves despite living in such a judgemental society. I see sexy in one when they have this inner confidence in them. I see sexy where I see them having a sense of humour.

Sweet Singaporean blogger Nicole Choo

Already a social media influence with a huge (and increasing) following, Nicole Choo has achieved a lot for someone her age. Bringing her good looks and fashion style together, Nicole tells us what she does to keep in shape and her dream holiday destination.

SimplySxy: Hi Nicole, thank you very much for your time taken to answer our questions on SimplySxy. Can you share with our readers a little about yourself and where you’re from?

Nicole: I’m Nicole Choo from Singapore! I have a keen interest in blogging, sharing what I have on social media and doing Youtube videos. If I were to only do these for a living, I wouldn’t ask for anything else. I’m 16 this year and I’ve never ever saw myself where I am today, but I’m entirely grateful for what I have now.

SimplySxy: How will you describe your personal fashion style?

Nicole: I will never go into specifics when people ask me what my style really is because I wear what I think looks nice, but what I can say is I cannot live without crop tops and would wear anything high waisted! My clothes are a wide variety and I will never settle down on a certain type of style because I’m just a sucker for anything that looks cute.

SimplySxy: What are some must have items in every girl’s wardrobe?

Nicole: In my opinion, an essential in a girl’s closet should be a pair of comfortable ripped jeans, some basic shirts as they’re so great to put outfits together with, and a cute black dress.

SimplySxy: Do you have a diet regime which you follow?

Nicole: Not so serious into dieting or whatever hahahaha. I’m not someone who gains weight easily, I’m actually around 40kg and sometimes it goes higher or a little lower but it’s always within this small range. I stop eating when I feel a tad bit full as I do not like the idea of eating to the brim. I pamper myself with some comfort food like ice cream, cakes, chips…etc but there’s a limit to it and I will not allow myself to eat excessively as I know what I want for my body and how I want to look. Eat small and healthy meals, I feel that’s the trick for a good looking body and don’t forget to work out!

SimplySxy: If you could play a movie character, who will it be?

Nicole: I would definitely play Black Widow in the Avengers because I love how her character goes against gender stereotypes that girls are not as strong as guys. I think its really cool to fight like that and still look so hot. *standing ovation for Scarlett Johansson*

SimplySxy: Can you share with us 3 fun facts about yourself, which your fans probably do not know?

Nicole:

1. I have never really tried eggplant in my life and I’m embarrassed

2. My arm is oddly shaped

3. My surname isn’t actually Choo but it’s a long story

SimplySxy: What is your holiday destination?

Nicole: Many places I would love to visit, but I would pick California because I have never been to the States in my whole life but the idea of going to the beach, shopping and all that makes me want to visit Cali!

Nicole: Sexy comes to everyone’s head as boobs and ass which is partly true. Sexy is the appropriate word to use when you have really nice assets but it comes in a package. You gotta have a great attitude, good humor, confidence and have a balance in every aspect of your personality because I want to be a little shy sometimes but bold at the appropriate times. I want to be strong on so someone respects me but will know how to make a guy laugh and how to have fun!

SimplySxy: Hi Lulu, thanks for taking the time to answer our questions on SimplySxy. Please share with our readers a little about yourself and where you’re from?

Lulu: Hi! Thanks for having me here 😀 Haha. People always think I am from China because of my name, Lulu – which, is a stage name. I am actually from Singapore, born and raised here. I am 22years old, Asian and I can speak 4 different languages. I do freelance modelling for a living and I intend to venture into online business in the near future. I love travelling, cooking and trying new things – (like, eating live octopus in Korea 😡 !!)

SimplySxy: How did you go into modelling?

Lulu: I just got lucky I guess! I took some photos with a local photographer as a test-shoot subject. The photos got all over social media and photographers started contacting me for jobs/shoots. And along the way I met more people from the same industry whom have helped me out and taught me a lot. I joined Singapore’s FHM 2014 search too and made it into the top 20.

SimplySxy: Can you tell us 3 fun facts about yourself?

Lulu:

1. I own more lingerie than t-shirts & dresses. I simply cannot resist pretty lingerie.
2. I type messages on my phone with my index finger.
3. I love Sushi!!! I once ate sushi every day for a week ! :O

SimplySxy: Which is one thing that is a must-do for you everyday?

Lulu: Spend time with my dog(IG: babyboy.thedog)! No matter how busy the day is or how tired I am, spending time with my dog is a must <3 <3

SimplySxy: Is there an interesting story behind one of your tattoos and are there plans to get anymore?

Lulu: Oh this is going to sound so stupid. Nope. There are no interesting stories behind my tattoos. I was 15 when I got them. Peer pressure and being rebellious I suppose ? :/ Haha. Maybe just 1 more tattoo. I have been wanting to get a small couple tattoo – maybe when I find my Mr Right.

SimplySxy: What is the naughtiest thing you have ever done and not regret?

Lulu: I (& a date) went skinny dipping late in the night after a party at one of the local beaches. There were after-party people along the beach and we nearly got caught. But yolo! No regrets! *.*

SimplySxy: Do you feel sexier in a lingerie or bikini?

Lulu: Definitely lingerie. I just love the feel of lace, satin and leather against my skin.

SimplySxy: Which is your favourite body part?

Lulu: My butt. And my fingers. Lol.

Lulu: Confidence. A woman with confidence, knows what she wants and feels secure about herself, that’s sexy. But of course, 34C” 25” 34” body stats is sexy too. Hehe.

Ziyi Kuek is an all rounder babe with beauty, brains and athletic ability

Smart, athletic and beautiful. Just a few words to describe Ziyi who performs well in everything she sets her heart and mind to, while the accomplishments keep stacking up. Those familiar with her will have seen Ziyi on pageants such as Miss Universe Singapore, modelling for FHM or at skating competitions. We catch up with this all rounder babe to find out more about her!

SimplySxy: Hi Ziyi, it is a great pleasure to feature you on SimplySxy. Tell us a little about yourself and where you’re from?

Ziyi: Hello SimplySxy, thank you for featuring me. Well, I guess the first thing people usually know about me is that I am quite a passionate skater, next followed by me being a model and a pageant queen from Singapore. Haha so other than what most people know, I also do performance driving, ride a bike and spent my pasttime studying Korean language. I am currently a FILA sponsored athlete and work as a project coordinator, designer, model, and skate instructor. I also write at https://skat3rgalz.wordpress.com/

SimplySxy: Being a very accomplished inline skater yourself, winning numerous awards from local and international competitions, how did your love for skating begin?

Ziyi: At the age of 11, I somehow started Inline skating when my dad found a pair of skate in the store of our home. Since then, I have always felt my heart race whenever I caught my eyes on the SKATE. It just seems to cast some magic on me, that get me so excited, even just thinking about it.

At the time when I did not think I will be able to find anything more to do with my inlineskate, I discovered FREESTYLE skating. I learned about it after joining Singapore Polytechnic’s skate club.

I was then 16. After that, everything else is history.

I started going competitive, in Speed Slalom and Slide, entering my 1st competition National Rookie Competition 2007, bringing back my 1st gold win. Then sponsored by Seba Skates, I represented Team Singapore and it brought me around the World.

SimplySxy: Is that how you are able to achieve that amazing figure of yours or do you have other tips to share?

Ziyi: Haha yes of course skating helps, it is one of the few cardiovascular sports around that work out your whole body, ranked among the best aerobic exercises according to the American Heart Association. However, I also switch around some other sports like gym and yoga to give my body a variety of exercise, or else it will get too comfortable to just skating!

SimplySxy: You’ve participated and done very well in various modeling and beauty contests such as Miss Singapore Universe and Miss Singapore World. What is the highlight of your modeling experience so far?

Ziyi: Gracing 20 magazines in a year, being one of Triumph’s models on the TV, doing a fashion show in Beijing, waving to the crowd during the Chingay parade as Miss Singapore together with the rest of the international contestants. My favorite highlight is still those international pageants; it changes my perspective of the world, the bonds forged between the girls and countries is an unforgettable one.

SimplySxy: Tell us how it was like to be a FHM model and ranked as one of FHM’s 100 Sexiest Women in the world?

Ziyi: It is one of the experiences of a lifetime. The enjoyment of gracing the cover, media coverage and appearance of TV shows! It doesn’t change my life around much, but it was definitely one of those memories that I look back upon and smile, and I still have my magazines to show!

SimplySxy: How common do catfights happen in the industry?

Ziyi: On the contrary of what many think it is like, we don’t really have cat fights in our industry. Most of us are very easy on our compliments and affections. It may appear fake, but if we really don’t like anyone, we are as easy on our remarks and feedbacks too.

SimplySxy: We’re sure you’ve attracted a legion of male fans who support you at your events and competitions. Have you had any creepy fan requests or stalkers?

Ziyi: Oh yes, sometimes it gets really bad. I have had them not only sending me weird messages and offering to pay me out, but I have had my photos edited naked and posted online and also spammed with more than 35 calls in a day. Of course there are nice experiences too, where they would make cards for me on my birthdays, offer to meet me up for coffee if ever I was down, drop by to almost every one of my events just to make sure I have got nice photos! Even sending my family hampers for Chinese New Year!

SimplySxy: Which is your favourite body part?

Ziyi: If you are talking about just body parts, it is probably my legs. Though it is all scar-ridden and all, I think of that as my battle trophies, the mark of my adventures.

SimplySxy: Thank you for the interview opportunity Ziyi and before we conclude the interview, can you tell us how you define “sexy”?

Ziyi: I believe Sexy is believing in yourself, and being comfortable about who you are.

Nicola Wong shines like a star

No stranger to pageants and modelling events, Singaporean model Nicola Wong has competed in Miss Bikini Asia and Miss ASEAN 2015 to great success. SimplySxy: Hi Nicola, it’s a great pleasure to feature you on SimplySxy. Please share with our readers a little about yourself and where you’re from?

Nicola: Hello there. I’m from Singapore. I turn 22 this coming August. I’ve only started doing pageant and competitions since 20xx.

SimplySxy: You have been modelling in many events and done very well in competitions such as Miss Bikini Asia. What has been the highlight of your modelling career so far?

Nicola: To me, it’s never about the title achieved but the people I’ve met on my road on the pageant. I pick up experiences, learnt the good together with the bad. Most importantly, it constantly reminds me to be thankful and blessed for the exposure.

SimplySxy: Do you have any beauty regime tips to looking so fabulous?

Nicola: Moisturise. Every single day. Don’t get lazy. Remove your makeup before you go to bed every single night no matter how tired you are. I do not have a tedious routine. Cleanse, toner, day cream/night cream. I try to put on a facial mask once a week at least too.

SimplySxy: Can you tell us 3 fun facts about yourself?

Nicola: Despite the wild party look that only most of you get to see on my Instagram/ Twitter, I actually love reading a lot. On particular Friday nights I’ll ditch the tequila shots and stay home with a good book instead.

I’m a firm believer in horoscopes because my horoscope, Leo, depicts exactly which kind of person I am. Cliché I know.

Lastly, I do not have everything spoon fed to me from young. My parents believed in ” When the going gets tough, the tough gets going”, and strict discipline, so I’ve always had to worked for what I wanted.

SimplySxy: How will you describe your fashion style

Nicola: Simplicity. Dress simple and you’ll never go wrong. You don’t have to own a lot of clothes, you just have to mix and match to make the best use of them.

SimplySxy: Which items in your wardrobe can you simply not live without?

Nicola: I’m a big fan of watches, all kinds of them. Won’t go anywhere without them.

SimplySxy: Which is your favourite body part?

Nicola: My eyes I guess. That goes the same to every person I’ll ever meet, I usually take a closer look in their eyes before anything else. I strongly believe when they say “The eyes are the window to the soul “. You can tell a lot just by looking into people’s eyes.

Nicola: Confidence is sexy. It is not about how much the scale tells you or which size you wear. If you love yourself you are already there.

Vivien: Hi! Thank for the feature! I’m from Singapore, have been in the modeling and dancing scene since I was 19. And lately just started getting into filming works. Guess I’m passionate about performing arts 🙂

SimplySxy: How did your interest in modelling begin?

Vivien: It all started with a photoshoot for a certain club and slowly grew my interest in it. Creating beautiful images is really satisfying, especially when you look at the end product and realize the hard work is worth it.

SimplySxy: Can you tell us 3 fun facts about yourself?

Vivien: I’m an extreme snapback lover, I’ve over 30 snapbacks in my collection. Huge fan of buffets, I can eat continously for 5 hours.. Haha! Lover of leopard prints designs.

SimplySxy: Are there any items in your wardrobe you simply can’t live without?

Vivien: It would definitely be lingerie! I do mainly lingerie photo shoots.

SimplySxy: What is the naughtiest thing you have ever done and not regret?

Vivien: For me to know and for you to find out :p

SimplySxy: Your favourite alcoholic drink is?

Vivien: I’m no doubt, a beer lover.

SimplySxy: Do you prefer being in lingerie or bikini?

Vivien: That’s a tough one, because I love to chill out at beach bars and beach parties!

SimplySxy: Which is your favourite body part?

Vivien: My eyes.
