    I haven’t really done anything “crazy” to be honest, but (the) closest thing to crazy I guess is partying for over 12 hours.

    Genmaicha, which is green tea with roasted rice.

    Both, it depends on my mood. c;

    A little bit of both.

    Hi SimplySxy! Thank you for featuring me. I’m a Singaporean aged 18 this year, I started modeling at the age of 17 when my agent, Justin from Style House talent scouted me at a bus stop and groomed me to become a successful model. I’m currently studying in Nanyang Polytechnic as a 1st year student.

    What is your favorite aspect about the fashion world?

    It would be the dressing aspect where people can look very different and stylish from the different type of clothes they wear. They give out a feel of another character.

    What was your most memorable experience while being a model?

    My most memorable experience would be at a beach photoshoot whereby my agent Justin who happened to be the set stylist as well, had an idea of using a bunch of seaweed that he found to cover my swim trunk which made me looked like I wasn’t wearing anything. It was quite funny at that point in time as there were by-standers watching us in the public beach.

    Do you consider yourself a romantic?

    I don’t consider myself a romantic person, but I’m learning to be more of a thoughtful person. Like doing something that is meaningful and showing care.

    Describe your sense of style?

    Normally I’d wear a pair jeans and a t-shirt/polo shirt, kinda plain and boring. But I will learn and try to dress more fashionably.

    If you had to use three words to describe yourself what would they be?

    I would use quiet, introvert and relax.

    What is your favorite part of your body and why?

    The favorite part of my body would be my shoulders, because there are a few occasions where girls would lean on them and that makes me feel kinda macho.

    What would your perfect date be?

    It would just be with the person I love anywhere. Where we could talk about anything under the sun and be happy.

    A sexy person would be someone that is sexually appealing with or without clothes. And a sexy look would be from the eyes where you give a “fierce stare” but in an attractive way.

    Hello! I’m Singaporean and proud to be one. I was schooling in Lasalle College previously, taking fashion design. I just turned 21 this year. I do have a strong passion in any form of arts. I actually resided in Venezuela for 4 years when I was 3 years old. It’s a totally different culture but well, I still love my hometown – Singapore!

    Where did your interest in Deejaying begin?

    My interest towards Deejaying developed when I started clubbing. I loved listening to music and I think it’s really fun to watch the crowd getting hyped to the music I’m playing. This year, Insurgence gave me the opportunity to be one. I’m glad it happened!

    What other hobbies do you have?

    I actually have quite a number of hobbies. I love swimming, drawing, singing and dancing. I used to be in music school for singing and dancing. I do love watching movies and spending time with my friends and family.

    Who is the most overrated music artist in your opinion?

    I think there’s no overrated music artist in my opinion. Every artist has their strong and weakness.

    If you could learn to do anything, what will it be?

    Skydiving!! I think it’s freaking cool and exciting.. Even though I’m afraid of heights.

    One fun fact about me is when I laugh I can’t stop laughing, and when I’m sad I can’t stop crying; it can take up to 4 – 5 hours.

    What turns you on?

    Music turns me on! I enjoy music and I love to listen to the lyrics and try to think what the meaning of it is.

    Craziest thing you’ve done?

    The craziest thing that I’ve done is I lost 10kg in a month by only eating 2 apples and 2 eggs a day. This sounds crazy but it worked. Hahaha.. But please do not try this, because during that period I was so weak and I had no strength to do anything.

    Favorite drink?

    What’s better than plain water? My favorite drink is plain water. I love to drink water, maybe because of my mom, she always reminded me to drink more water since I was young. Besides plain water, I love to drink green tea, that’s my second choice.

    No I don’t.

    Choice between sweet, salty or a little bit of both?

    I would say a little bit of both, life without sweetness is hopeless, because sweetness can make people feel happy. Without saltiness, you will not realize how sweetness can give you happiness.

    Superman?! Haha, I’m a very caring person and I would like to help when someone is in need. I always try to love more and hate less, maybe because I’m Christian, and the bible says LOVE is patient, LOVE is kind, it is not self-seeking.

    Worst rejection you’ve faced?

    During my internship, I wrote a proposal for my supervisor and he rejected my proposal, I felt so sad because I really put a lot of effort on it.

    Must have in your wardrobe?

    Black dress is a must have in my wardrobe. Why? Because it can easily match any occasion. A black dress is just simple and elegant. I personally think that every woman should own a little black dress.

    What’s sexy to you?

    Sexy to me is not about how you look outside, but the inner beauty. Inner beauty isn’t just inner beauty. As you dwell on the idea for a while, you’ll realize that inner beauty is the only beauty there is, and that’s sexy to me.

    Hi Kai, it’s a pleasure to feature you on SimplySxy.  Can you share with our readers a little about yourself and where you’re from?

    It is also my pleasure to be given an opportunity to be featured on SimplySxy. I am Chinese, born and raised in Singapore. I am someone who loves life and enjoys life. I am very passionate about fashion and will always keep myself in the front line of what’s new in trends. I am currently doing my online business which can be found through Instagram @dkai.

    How did you begin modelling and how long have you been doing it?

    Well, that goes back to when I was 17.  My first project was for a magazine in Singapore, targeting teenagers, named “Teens Magazine”. I was featured on a new hair product launch by Gatsby. As I am required to serve the nation, I had to stop till I completed my national service. Following which, I began projects for online sales and salon posters, all based in Singapore.

    How is your fashion style like?   

    I would say I do not have a specific or particular style. I am very much into comfort and pleasing to the eyes. I am probably always seen with a pair or berms. I love to pair them up with jackets and colours which provide a different feel and look of the overall outfit. Fashions has no limits, no restrictions.

    What are some items every guy must have in his wardrobe?

    I would say a set of denims (jeans and jacket). Oh! I forgot to mention, accessories!

    You’re a freelance hairstylist, what will you say is the current trend for men?

    No trend, no trend. I am a strong believer on different hairstyles for different occasions. Often ending up with a wake up hair look. 

    Do you have any hobbies? 

    I am a Foodie! Trying out new places for great food and also love to explore different parts of Singapore to have my OOTDs taken. 

    Tell us something one fun fact about yourself which your fans might not know.  

    I always have weird facial expressions whenever I am nervous. It’s just uncontrollable.

    What are some of your hobbies?

    I don’t really think I have any hobbies or rather, interesting ones. I just love slacking during my free time. If I really need to think of a few then I guess it will be travelling and photography.

    You’re from Singapore, which is a haven for exotic local and foreign cuisine. Which are some of your favourite food you usually indulge in?

    People who know me will probably know I am daring when trying new “exotic” food. And I mean the Real Exotic ones when I am in other countries. But when I am in Singapore, steamboat and Japanese cuisine will be my all-time favorite. 😀

    Do you have a beauty regime which you follow daily to look so fantastic?

    I am a lazy person but when it comes to my daily routine for my face and body, I am actually very hard working! Haha. I use body scrubs twice a week, apply body and hand creams almost every day.

    My “must do” 5 steps everyday will be the cleansing foam, toner, essence, moisturizer and sunblock. Tanned skin doesn’t suit me. 🙁

    • I play certain online games (Left4Dead, Maple story etc)
    • I am crazy and talkative if you know me longer
    • I LOVE MEAT. A hardcore carnivore that can’t survive without eating meat for a day.

    What is the craziest thing you have ever done?

    Can I say that changing my hair color almost every month counts as crazy? Or slept for 48 hours without eating? O.o?

    Hi Josh, it’s a great pleasure to have you on SimplySxy. Can you tell us a little about yourself and where you’re from?

    I am from Singapore and I enjoy almost everything fitness related, both indoor and outdoor. I’m 18 years old and still a student in a local polytechnic. I’m a pretty competitive person by nature because I hate to lose. One thing I am very bad at is argument. That I will lose for sure so I avoid it at all cost because I hate to lose. At the moment, besides being a good student, I model part time for extra income with Style House, a local model agency that discovered me from a coffee place.

    Please tell us 3 fun facts about yourself!

    1. I absolutely hate dirt and dirty places. I will start freaking out if I have to endure situations like that.
    2. Unlike many people, I am not a fan of eating. Food is not something that really interests me. Even I find it hard to believe sometimes.
    3. I enjoy shopping and getting new things, but who doesn’t?

    You were the winner of the Asian Physique Model Search 2014. Can you share some fitness tips to achieve that ripped body of yours?

    I would say the most important aspect would be diet. With a proper diet, almost everything else would fall into place. Of course it is difficult to be so conscious of what goes into my mouth every single day but it pays off. I train hard, diet hard and rest well. I feel that it is all in the mind. If you convince yourself that this is worth your effort, time and money, anyone can achieve their dream body too.

    Do you follow a very strict diet or do you allow yourself to indulge in some guilty pleasures once in a while?

    My diet is pretty strict all year round because I feel too guilty eating unhealthy or non-nutritious food. Although the temptation is very great, I always convince myself not to eat it.

    What is one perk you enjoy most about being a model?

    Being able to flex in front of the camera! As of late, flexing has become my hobby. Just kidding! It’s really nice being able to see my efforts paid off with a nice picture.

    Have you gotten any weird requests from fans?

    Of course! Many actually, but I shall keep them confidential because some are just too weird it’s not suitable for publication.

    The craziest thing you have ever done and not regret is?

    I’m not much of a risk taker by nature but I think the craziest thing I have done would be to do pull ups on a railing 6 stories above ground with no safety precautions. I guess that is pretty crazy for a normal person too…

    Which is your favorite body part?

    Abs. I think the nicest body part for anyone would be the abs, even for the ladies. For me, I don’t think I can go a day looking at myself without abs.

    No problem! I feel that confidence is sexy. Sexy does not always have to be physical. Regardless of looks, if the person is confident about himself or herself, that is sexy.

    When did you begin modelling and how did you develop the interest?

    The whole story is pretty hilarious, it was more of wanting to prove myself to someone and slowly I fell in love with it after I started.

    Which type of cuisine do you love most?

    Definitely Japanese! I really like Shinji at St. Regis, they serve really good Japanese Omakase.

    Do you have a fitness regime to keep your body in such great shape?

    Actually, I don’t work out as much compared to the past, although I’m doing Judo now. To be honest, I snack a lot and I’m not exactly conscious about my weight haha.

    I’m petite, standing at 160cm and weigh 40kg. I love animals, especially cats. And also, I have a thing for pretty lingerie sets.

    What is your favourite type of lingerie?

    I don’t really have a favourite type, as long as they look good and feel good on me. I really like those that are jelly-padded because those are really comfortable.
