    Hey everyone! Thank you for having me. My name is Lindsey Yap. I’m a model and I love acting too. I was born and raised in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.  Some little fun facts about me are that I sleep very well after a cup of coffee and I enjoy playing board games with my friends!

    How did you get started into being a model?

    I started being a model after joining Miss Global Intercontinental Malaysia 2016, it wasn’t easy at first given the fact that I have no one to refer to and I had to find my own way to get into this industry. There are a few key people I wanted to thank for giving me the opportunity for a good head start. I’m grateful for my photographer sifu who accepted me and taught me the principles of being a professional model. He taught me about time-management and discipline.

    At times when I felt despair, my close friend encouraged me that no efforts I’ve made will gone to waste. I’m also thankful to my friends who got me a small role in Crazy Rich Asians. This is how I eventually started to get more jobs and exposures.  And last but not least, my mentor who guided me everything I needed to know about being a professional model.

    Are there any misconceptions about models you usually hear of?

    The misconceptions I heard about models are all about glam, fame and money, they just pose and look pretty. This is simply not true. To be a model is more like being a muse.  Models have the least say of all, you need to be flexible to adhere to designers’ or the clients’ requirements. You need to know what you’re doing.

    Most importantly, you gotta be easy to work with. Forget about being a diva when it comes to this industry. At the end of the day, it’s not all about you. You are just showcasing their outfits and brands.

    What is the best compliment you have received?

    Oh dear… this is so hard to choose! Every compliment is very dear to me. The best compliment I have ever received is “You’re such a professional model to work with.”

    Do you have any hobbies or interests?

    Currently I enjoy reading, workout and analyse how actors act in Netflix. Haha.

    If you could meet and collaborate with anyone past or present, who will it be?

    Definitely Naomi Campbell. I love the way how she struts on the runway and makes everyone in awe with her presence.

    Which flavor best describes you?

    Guava. It smells good.

    What do you not get about guys?

    They have their own version fairy tale in mind when it comes to treating their woman.

    You know what you are doing. You are very sure of yourself and owns your flaws unapolegetically. Being fearless and feminine are very sexy to me.

    My name is Riley Sawyer. I am 19 years old and I am a full time model/actress. I’ve been published with different magazines including Maxim Magazine which was very exciting. I am from Toronto Ontario as many know me by the top sunshine girl in the Toronto sun for months in a row last year.  One of my favourite moments in my career so far would be getting the opportunity to model as a bikini model on CBC Dragons Den; for the company “ Cobra Mask”.

    I am a former figure skater but was forced to quit due to several concussions.  Although I was upset about quitting skating I really believe everything happens for a reason and that God had a plan for me because I’ve only been modelling and acting for a bit over a year and the success and opportunities I’ve been given are ones I never could’ve saw myself in if I went back a few years ago.

    I am now signed at a studio so I get to work with artists in music videos and learn more about the music industry and how it works which is so awesome because music is such a big part of my life.

    How will you describe your fashion style?

    When it comes to fashion and my sense of style, I definitely have my own brand that tends to stand out as several people compliment me on my outfits everyday. I keep it classy but sexy at the same time, as I like to show my figure but not cleavage.

    When it comes to fashion, I don’t think there is such thing as over dressing, as you’ll always find me in a pair of heels and in a skirt or a dress no matter where I may be going that day. I feel that fashion is a way to express themselves just like how artists express themselves through their paintings and art, I express myself through fashion.

    How I dress definitely reflects a lot on my personality, “classy but sassy”.

    Are there any accessories or items in your wardrobe you can’t live without?

    I cannot live without my heels.  They complete each outfit. I feel every woman needs a few pairs of heels to complete their wardrobe.

    Do you believe in any superstition?

    Yes I most definitely believe in superstition.  When I used to figure skate, I wouldn’t be able to compete without my cross necklace on as I believed my performance wasn’t comparable without it.

    What hobbies or interests are you into?

    My biggest hobby and passion is my job; acting and modelling.  It’s a form of art and to portray myself in different ways for shoots so different styles are captured. I feel so lucky that I get to express myself with my body instead of  my voice for a career.

    Which is your most memorable travel experience so far?

    I had a really good time this year in Florida.  As I went to see family and do some photo shoots, I also met new friends that made it an awesome time that I am so grateful and fortunate I got to experience it.

    Have you been in an embarrassing situation before that is funny now when looking back?

    Whatever I find funny now, I found funny in the moment of.  I’m one who doesn’t really get embarrassed because I see us all as human beings and we all make mistakes so why feel embarrassed in situations when that’s life. I look at the positive side in every situation as I also have a sense of humour shines through in most situations.

    What turns you off on a date?

    I cannot stand when a man talks badly or puts down another female in front of me.  MAJOR TURN OFF.  Especially if he calls a past ex girlfriend of his ugly.  That’s a major red flag as I learnt it’s a sign of insecurity and I like a confident man who doesn’t need to put others down in order to feel better about himself.  I’d be calling that date off in a heart beat.

    Thank you for taking the time to answer our questions Riley. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”? 

    I define sexy as an attitude more so than a shape.  Looks don’t define sexy but how your presence makes others feel being around you is what it’s all about.  If you’re real and true to yourself, not caring what anyone thinks, your pretty fricken sexy.

    I feel being real is so sexy because it’s so rare these days and a real one always stands out to the right people.  Being a genuine human that when you are around others they feel safe and comfortable enough to be themselves is what sexy is ultimately all about.

    Philippines Actress, Vlogger & Plus Size Model Teena Arches

    To be honest, I never thought I’d even be modeling or acting growing up because I always thought it wasn’t possible for a plus size girl like me. But luckily, Eat Bulaga (a famous noon time show here in the Philippines) had a plus size beauty pageant in which I joined in. From reaching the Top 8, a few of us from the competition were pulled in to be regular talents in the show and that started the opportunities for me. I had a lot of exposure from the show and a few agencies asked for me to audition for some commercials and it started from there.

    For modeling, my college professor started a plus size clothing line and saw me in Eat Bulaga, as well, so she hired me to model for her company and then other brands saw those photos, and it just kind of snowballed from there.

    Do you have any favorite quote or mottos you like to use in life?

    I really like the saying, “Those who matter won’t mind and those who mind don’t matter”. It just says a lot because it’s very true in a lot of ways. In the way I wear my makeup, clothing, or how my personality is, if those people really loved and cared for me, they wouldn’t really mind the shallow things like appearance.

    And of course, I have an advocacy called #MagandaAkoPeriod, which means, “I’m beautiful, period.” I live by that now, because growing up I was always told that I’d be beautiful if I was like this, or looked like this, etc. So today, I just say, I’m beautiful, period.

    How do you like to spend your weekends and free time?

    I spend it with my loved ones. Whether it’s with my family, relatives or friends. I love spending time with people I care about, and vice versa, because it’s always time well spent.

    You can, literally, do nothing and still have fun as long as you’re with good company.

    Is there any food or drink you can’t live without?

    I can’t live without salmon sushi. It, honestly, makes me so happy when I eat good Japanese food. It’s one of the things I’m worried about for when I get pregnant someday. I can’t eat raw food for nine months. Ahaha, it’s a legit concern of mine, as funny as it sounds haha.

    If you could learn anything in this world, what will it be?

    It’s that having an open mind/heart and respect for others is key to peace.

    On a scale of 1-10, how much of a party animal are you?

    I think I’m down to a 6/7 now that I’m older. I used to always want to go out, drink and have fun. I spent so much money on expensive clubs and alcohol, but now I prefer to chill, and have sit-down night outs with friends. It’s what we call “Tita-Mode” here. Haha

    What do you not get about the opposite sex?

    Well, I don’t know, because I think I’ve come to understand men more now that I’ve grown up. And quite frankly, I don’t bother to depict men with questionable actions anymore. Haha I just focus or move on to things that isn’t complicated now. Less stress, less wrinkles. haha

    I think sexy is an attitude. You can not be what society defines as “sexy”, but still be because of your aura, personality or your wit, etc. It could, also, be how you bring yourself. It’s not always, necessarily, just about the physical appearance.

    I was originally from China and came to Canada when when I started elementary school. I enjoy painting, crocheting, old movies and bad puns.

    Which is a memorable photoshoot experience you have had so far?

    I once did a photoshoot with a dead octopus that had been defrosted and wrapped around me like a necklace. Surprisingly, it was very clean and didn’t smell at all! The photographer bought it from the local T&T supermarket and might’ve even had it for hot pot after.

    Do you have a beauty regime you follow to look so beautiful?

    No I honestly don’t. I buy drug store cleansers and sometimes even body wash. Maybe I’m just cheap but I think using less products will be better in the long run.

    What do you enjoy most about modeling?

    I’ve always loved art and I genuinely have a lot of fun partaking in photoshoots, playing with creatives ideas and seeing the end results. I also get to meet a lot of cool people.

    What is your favorite food or drink?

    I love Korean BBQ, I could literally have it all day, for breakfast, lunch and dinner. My favourite drink is a green apple martini and I’m a super light weight so a double shot of that will knock me out for the night!

    If you could have a super power, what will it be?

    Persuasion. The ability to convince others to do anything and I would totally use this for good… and maybe just a bit of bad, when it’s necessary.

    What is a lame or funny attempt a guy has tried to know you?

    Lack of effort is a big turn off for me. I don’t really believe in “leagues” and I think the only time someone is out of your league is when you don’t want to enter that league.

    Charisma! As cliche as it sounds, I really do think confidence is very attractive.

    Extra: I love music, I’m always listening to music even when I’m sleeping. A few of my favourite artists are Amy Winehouse, Daniel Ceaser, Etta James, Jorja Smith and Ray Charles.

    What is your fashion style like?

    I think fashion is unlimited. These clothes making you look confident and gorgeous is the fashion belonging to you. I like a cool fashion style, so I prefer to wear trousers. For most of the girls, everyone has the impression that they need to be temperament and elegant. But in fact, girls can show themselves handsomely.

    Do you have any favorite quotes you like to use in life?

    I think we have only one life. Just do what you want to do.

    If you miss one, it won’t give you a second chance.

    How will you describe a typical day like for yourself?

    I like to make myself super busy. I do enjoy going out for a whole day and doing lots of things. Now I concentrate on my job only, so mostly, I will arrange lots of jobs in one day. If I’ve got any free time, I would like to date with friends or stay at home for playing games. I think I have a simple life.

    Is there a fashion accessory you can never live without?

    I think earrings are the most important fashion accessory for me because they are close to your face. Especially, the first impression between people is from your face. Hence, it is necessary to wear some useful accessories around your face to increase the impression.

    What have you always wanted to do but have yet to find the time for it?

    I want to learn more languages. Indeed, I admire people who speak many languages. This is a very powerful skill and one thing I always want to learn. Communication is an important way to relate to people. If I can learn more and more languages, I will know different people everywhere.

    If you could meet anyone past or present, who will it be?

    I would like to meet myself in the past. When I was little, I had thought about growing up quickly. When I grew up, I would yearn for the simple self before. Life is really short. I want to go back and grasp the things that were too late or have been lost.

    What will make you cancel a date?

    Usually, I don’t take the initiative to turn off a date, unless there is an emergency.

    I think everyone has their own sexy. For me, naked is not the only way to show sexy. Sexy doesn’t need to be expressed on purpose, but you can own it naturally. And I think my collarbone and eyes are the sexiest parts of my body.

    I want to promote my next work. Soon, I will release a video about a series of uniforms from senior high school. Lots of fans think I was suitable for uniforms, and they even helped me name the title “Uniform Goddess”.  So I worked with a professional team and we made a short video about uniforms.     Stella Paris is an actress, model, recording artist and philanthropist. She was born in Malta and then moved to UK and later the USA. She made her debut as an actress in an upcoming Hollywood TV series, A Place Among the Undead. She has also had speaking roles in European and British feature films, City of Spies and Red Army Hooligans.

    Stella Paris has been published on covers, features and centrefolds of over 25 magazines and newspapers, including Playboy, RHK, Twisted Edge, Pg7, The Midweek Sport, The Sunday Sport, The Daily Sport, and Prototype. Stella has just started her career as a recording artist. She writes her lyrics and directs her videos. Stella does an annual fundraiser for the Somawathi Home orphanage in Sri Lanka.

    When did you get started into modelling?

    I started modelling when I turned 18. At first, it was beauty pageants, competitions, talent shows and modelling courses in my home country, Malta. I was chosen to represent my hometown of Mosta in Miss Malta, as Miss Mosta in 2007. Modelling helped me improve my confidence and self-esteem. Soon after, I graduated from University in BSc. Radiography (Hons). I moved to London and I started getting published in international magazines and newspapers.

    How is the experience on Playboy and working with them?

    The Playboy photoshoot was in Toronto. I had an early wake-up call at my hotel room, where the Playboy make-up artist and hairdresser arrived at 8am. After we got ready, I was driven to the location of the shoot, where we met the Playboy photographer, the crew of Naked News Channel and assistants. The photoshoot was a lot of fun and all the crew were very professional, energetic and respectful. The photoshoot and interview lasted about 3 hours, and I loved every minute.

    Is acting more difficult than modelling?

    Yes, in my opinion acting requires much more preparation and concentration. Acting, depending on the role is not always about looking beautiful and accentuating curves.

    Firstly, the scenes and character needs to be studied properly. I usually take a lot of notes and visualise becoming that person. I ask myself… how would I react if this particular situation happened to me? Then I rehearse and take lots of videos. When I’m happy with all the line memorisation, deliverance and facial expressions, then I am ready to audition.

    Even when I am on set and we are filming the actual movie or series, several takes are done to make sure the director has enough material to choose from.

    What is a memorable experience in acting or modelling you have to share?

    There are quite a few memorable experiences. One is meeting and talking with Dave Bautista on set of Final Score. Another great experience was working with director Juliet Landau (Drusilla from Buffy The Vampire Slayer), on set of The Undead series.

    I also had a lot of fun shooting City of Spies in Austria. Last but not least, a very funny experience on set was on Red Army Hooligans, when I was playing the role of Russian mafia girl and I kicked a rival Englishman actor in his balls.

    Do you have any hobbies and interests?

    I love travelling to tropical locations. My favourite spots so far are Sri Lanka and Thailand. I love exploring, hiking, swimming and rambling in remote areas. I love spending time at the jungle and the beach.

    I also love reading, mostly self-motivational, transformational and spiritual books. I also like to spend time with animals, always making sure I go to places where animals are treated properly and not exploited. As a vegetarian, I believe I have to be the voice for our sisters and brothers.

    On a scale of 1-10 how much of a party animal are you?

    Let’s go with 6. I don’t party on a regular basis anymore. I have been focused on my career these past few years, and I believe hangovers and long nights out wastes my time and puts me back towards accomplishing my goals. I used to be a party animal till about 4 years ago.

    I am still a fun-loving person and I do like to party occasionally. With me, a drink or two can light up a fuse; in other words, once I pop, I can’t stop so I have learnt to control myself.

    The last time I partied was in Bangkok with ladyboys. I ended up showing them how to twerk and work the pole.

    What is the funniest or awkward attempt a guy has tried on you?

    The most awkward attempts happen at the gym when I’m training hard, almost at the brink of being nauseous from high intensity training. I was running on the treadmill at 10km/hr once, when a guy jumped on the treadmill next to me and tried to shake my hand while introducing himself.

    How do you define “sexy”?

    Sexy is being comfortable with your body and just being yourself. You cannot learn how to be ‘sexy’, you either are sexy or you are not. You can make yourself ‘look’ sexy with clothes, makeup etc…but sexy is much more. It could be the look in your eyes, the voice, your deliverance, your accent, your character, the way you walk etc…

    For my first show, I stumbled on a very long dress.

    If you could time travel, where will you go?

    If I could travel in time I would go back a long time, I would like to return to the times of princely carriages and castles.

    The most ridiculous attempt they used to conquer me was to make a personal exchange.

    No. I make it a lifestyle. I don’t want it to be super strict! I want to enjoy being beautiful and sexy at the same time! So I don’t restrict myself much for as long as I exercise and get enough rest. I’m good with that.

    Writing his number on a tissue paper while I was alone at a coffee shop! Coz I regularly do that, alone time at a coffee shop and i just write or read a book.

    Sexy is your character as a woman. It’s your personality that makes you sexy! I want to be classified as classy sexy rather than trashy sexy. A classy sexy is someone who is physically, mentally, emotionally empowered! While trashy is plain physical. Attitude matters above all, that’s where sexiness shines… from within!

    Thank you for featuring me! I have been showcasing my talents of singing, acting, dancing and modeling for eight years. But I also love to write, paint and draw. I was born and raised in Madison and Sun Prairie, WI area.

    What inspired you to go into modeling?

    Ever since I was little I was inspired by models on magazine covers and billboards. I did photoshoots with old high school classmates, and lots of memories came from it, so getting in front of the camera became fun. I had more experience performing in front of live audiences in theatre, but I was willing to try something new.

    Is posing on camera a lot harder than it looks?

    Posing is on-the-spot direction. A creative director or photographer may have a specific vision in mind though, so they will direct the model. If I have not worked with the photographer yet, I tend to be a little timid at first, but then I warm up to their style and how they take photos.

    What other interests and hobbies do you have?

    I love doing hair, makeup and nails. Art and writing are also hobbies I have. I really want to travel and do photography.

    If you could collaborate or work with anyone in this world, who will it be?

    My dream is to model with Gigi and Bella Hadid.

    Do you believe in any superstition?

    No.

    On a scale of 1-10, how much of a foodie are you?

    As many slices as there are on a large pizza.

    What is the funniest or lamest attempt a guy has tried to know you?

    There have been guys that pretend like they care about my life, then ask for nudes.

    I enjoy cosplay because I like creating different characters and being someone new. I like to become those characters as it makes me happy along with seeing it brighten other peoples days. It is a beautiful experience.

    Which is your most memorable cosplay experience so far?

    My most memorable cosplay experience was when I cosplayed D. Va at Acen at 2016. Everyone was shocked and amazed because the character wasn’t out yet. Everyone wanted a photo and was so impressed  by it and happy. Everywhere I would stop at I would create a sea of crowds taking photos and being shocked, I also got a free keychain of D. Va because I was the only D. Va there. Such an unforgettable experience.

    Can you describe a typical day like for yourself?

    A typical day for me is laying around watching YouTube videos or working and posting photos of past shoots on my social media pages.

    Most of this consists of YouTube. I spend way too many hours watching vlogs and gamer channels.

    Do you have any other hobbies?

    Another hobby of mine is gaming and working on more of my voice acting and acting skills. I went to school for acting so it means a lot to me to perfect my craft. I also love to dance and do choreography and showcase them occasionally, it’s a fun workout!

    What is the sexiest item in your wardrobe?

    It would either be my silver microbikini outfit I wore in a shoot with a crown or my black lingerie outfit I wore for a valentines shoot. Another shoot was a red bikini with shiny thigh highs and those are my top sexiest outfits.

    I’m proud of them!!

    If you could have a super power, what will it be?

    If I could have any super power, it would be Dr. Manhattans from Watchmen. He can do just about anything and it’s AMAZING! Him or Phoenix Powers are pretty incredible.

    What is the funniest or lamest attempt a guy has tried to know you?

    This past year in Vegas while I was waiting for my Uber, this guy just walks passed me and started rapping terribly. He didn’t rhyme or anything, it was just god awful and wouldn’t leave unless I gave him a number. I gave him one off the top of my head and then dipped. What a terrible way to pick someone up.

    Adefinition of sexy would be self confidence and loving yourself. I think that creates an ideal of what is sexy.

    With confidence and loving yourself you create your image of what is sexy and beautiful.
