    Thank you! I’m an actress and model from Southampton with cerebral palsy. I’m currently doing a Film degree.

    When and how did you get started into modeling?

    When I was about 16, I had my first photoshoot. It went from there really.

    Is there a memorable modeling or photoshoot experience you can share with us?

    I’ve done some really cool ones, with some of the most beautiful vintage hair styles. I did a shoot in the forest once but the weather was torrential, I was wearing a corset too! It was crazy, but the pictures look so moody.

    How will you describe a typical day for yourself?

    It always starts with a good breakfast, I love pastry! It depends, on whether I have Uni or a job. My day will always involve writing something online though – lately its been with my new blog PalsyVibes. Also I watch a lot of films.

    Do you have any guilty pleasures when it comes to food?

    Pastry, but I’m not guilty about it. I make a lot of one pot dishes and they always seem to taste better the next day!

    Is there anything in life you can’t get enough of?

    Hmm, like what? Peanut butter, Kit Kats and Chanel lipstick.

    If you could have a special or super power, what will it be?

    I’d love to pop up around people when they need me most, like a magical genie.

    Which is the lamest or funniest attempt a guy has tried to know you?

    Oh I’ve had some really weird things, it cringes me out when a boy will try to hard and pretend to know about my disability when they only have one motive in their head! Sometimes I get compliments from strangers online too and when I don’t respond they can get nasty!

    It’s been fun. Sexy is that feeling where you feel fabulous, and fierce and indestructible – like you can do anything and feel amazing doing it.

    The pleasure is all mine.  I come from a small developing city in Kedah, after graduation, I decided to stay in Kuala Lumpur. I majored in Broadcasting and am now doing what I love the most and that is acting. I would say I am a dreamer working on making her dreams a reality.

    How did you get into acting and modeling?

    Modelling was for fun, it started out with a few photoshoots with friends. After a few beauty pageants, it became a source of income as well. Lucky for me, a friend of mine asked me to join an acting competition organized by 8TV 2 years ago. Winning the competition landed me the lead role in one of my dramas, and job offers came after that. I am forever thankful.

    Do you have any guilty pleasures when it comes to food?

    I love cheese, if I can add onto whatever I am eating, trust me, it’ll be there. However, I am trying to cut down on it, so wish me luck.

    Describe a typical day like for yourself.

    I don’t usually have a typical day, because my working schedule can be very unexpected at times. Normally, if I am not working, I would either go to the gym or do some rock climbing/ badminton, and binge watch movies online after. Of course, hanging out with a few of my closest friends would be a must.

    If you could travel to anywhere in the world for a vacation, where will it be?

    I would love to travel to Hawaii, the beautiful beaches is temptation enough. Maybe because I am also a stitch fanatic, everything there seems very interesting to me.

    Which flavor best describes you?

    Mint chocolate. Refreshing and a hint of sweetness.

    Have you ever had a secret admirer?

    I don’t think so, if I knew I had, it wouldn’t be a secret anymore I guess?

    What turns you off on a date?

    Being rude to the waiters and waitresses. I hate it when people think they are more superior than the other person. I especially hate it when they try to use the “whistle” sound to call on the servers.

    Hi there! so excited to be featured! I’m an actress, model, filmmaker and cosplayer. I’ve been acting basically all my life, since I was 4 years old. I just recently added professional modeling to my list of things I do and I’m completely loving the experience! I live on the West Coast now…BUT…I’m originally from the East Coast! I’m quirky, nerdy and very much a homebody. Partying is not my thing. I much prefer a good book or an episode of Star Trek TNG. I’m also the host of  “Nerdtabulous” on YouTube! People in the acting world know me as Tara-Nicole Azarian, but the cosplay world and YouTube know me as Tara Cosplay.

    How did you get started into cosplay?

    Well, I was THAT kid who always had to be a princess or a fairy every time we went to Disney. Mom would help me deck out in complete princess attire including facepaint. So, cosplay has always been in my blood. I began to do “grown up” cosplay when I was about 12.

    Which common misconceptions about cosplay still exists today?

    Oh I think the biggest one is that some people think that the cosplay community is a bunch of weirdos…and they are very, very wrong! Cosplay is a form of art and artistic expression and the cosplay community is full of outstanding and talented people. Yes, lots of us are kind of shy in person, but just say, “hi” we’ll talk back to you, I promise!

    What is the best compliment you have received?

    Honestly the nicest thing I hear is that I’m kind. When someone comes up to my table at a convention, I give them my full attention. I’m very protective of my nerd community and I want every fan of mine to feel special. I’m human and I’m sure I fail on this sometimes, but I try very hard to make every Tarabyte (fan) feel special.

    What do you enjoy most about acting?

    Ohhhhh acting is amazing. It allows me a socially acceptable outlet for behaving ways that normally would not be okay. I love to play against my natural personality type. Playing mean or crazy is a ton of fun and helps keep me normal in my real life…I get all my funk out on set.

    If you could change one thing about the world, what will it be?

    I’m going to sound like a pageant queen here, but “world peace.” I hate to see people suffer…especially children. I just really wish that the powers that be could stop the whole who’s junk is bigger contest and just negotiate like evolved humans. Hate is taught. We need to see the similarities in one another and come together to make a safe and peaceful world. That’s what I’d like to see anyway.

    What song would you say best describes you?

    “Why Not” by Hilary Duff. I feel like life is short and whatever goals or dreams I have I should jump in with both feet and just go for it. Go big or go home.

    What do you find attractive in the opposite sex?

    I like a tall man. As far as looks go, that’s the only thing that catches my eye. What attracts me to a man is if he is kind. Kindness is so undervalued in our society, but it’s a deal breaker for me. If you are arrogant and full of yourself, I will have zero interest in you. If you are a gentleman, open doors for me, listen to me, respect my feelings, connect with me every day (even if I’m away working) then we’ll hit it off.

    I think intelligence is sexy. I graduated High School early and run my own business so I am attracted to intelligence. A smart man knows what he wants, how to get it and how to keep it. That is very sexy!

    I’m from Boston, MA and I have been modeling and acting professionally for the past five years. I started when I was 18 and never looked back.

    What do you love about modeling?

    I get to show my personality and get creative. It makes me happy to create images and have goals that I’m working towards obtaining. If I don’t set any new goals for myself often enough, I get bored.

    Do you have any hobbies?

    Modeling isn’t just my career, it’s also my hobby. When I’m not doing a photoshoot, I’m cooking, going for a walk, or listening to music.

    How much of a party animal are you?

    I think the last time I went to a club was six months ago, and I couldn’t tell you when the last time was that I had gotten wasted.

    Which is your proudest achievement so far?

    Pursuing modeling full time.

    Are you more of a bikini or lingerie babe?

    Lingerie suits me better.

    If you could describe yourself as a flavor, what will it be?

    Whatever flavor the guy wants me to be…

    What is the lamest attempt a guy has tried to hit on you?  

    There’s so many, so it’s hard to just pick one that stands out. I don’t pay much attention to it.

    Hello everyone! I from Long Island, NY and am not only an aspiring model but also aspiring actress! 🙂  My favorite hobby is reading reading reading! Whenever I have free time I’m either having my nose in a book, working out, dancing to old 90’s R&B hip-hop in my room, or reading and studying people’s birth natal charts LOL.  I’m pretty much a “pro” when it comes to astrology, so if anyone wants a free moon sign reading let me know!!!

    What do you enjoy most about modeling?

    Being able to see myself in perspectives that I haven’t imagined before.  Every photographer, and every person, sees you in a different way.  My goal is to explore all the ways in which I can see myself.  Being able to transform from “plane-jane” to a lady-gaga-bleached-eyebrows-and-glitter sort of look is really fun, and something that I would’ve never tried out for myself.  Becoming an actress is my “true” passion because I want to be able to live a thousand lives through different roles like how I do through reading 😉

    Is there a favorite quote or motto you live by?

    Haha it changes from time to time…but right now it’s: “Nothing ever goes away until it teaches us what we need to know…”

    What’s your favorite personality trait you like about yourself?

    I truly love how passionate/enthusiastic I can become about …well just about anything LOL.

    Which is the most expensive item you have splurged on?

    Clothing…probably a jacket.

    If you could see any band live, which will you want to see?

    Tool or U2.

    What do you consider to be the most important item in your wardrobe?

    My shirts that allow me to go bra-less…and my leggings!

    What’s the funniest or lamest attempt a guy has tried to know you?

    Oooomggg LOL ummm, well there was this one time where I was walking down the street and someone decided to go down on one knee and propose to me without warning and literally said “will you marry me” and everything.

    Hey all! I’m Christina Marie, I am a born and raised Jersey girl! I am a full time vet tech and model. I grew up around my families racehorses so they are a big part of my life. Plus I am a kick ass horse back rider 🙂 I love pizza and Pinot Grigio and am obsessed with Audrey Hepburn.

    How did you get started into modeling acting?

    I always wanted to be in Playboy so I did my very first photoshoot when I was 20, and the rest is history! Growing up my grandmother took me to the theatre all the time, I would watch as a young girl and wanted to be them. I got into acting and classes and now I’m filming my first independent movie along with going on many casting calls!

    Do you have a funny experience to share?

    Oh gosh here’s a good one. I was vacationing with my family in Cape May, NJ. I went up early from the beach to shower. Now, I have anxiety so I locked the door AND the chain lock. Took my shower, went out on the balcony to wave to my family at the beach with the balcony door shutting behind me. No big deal. But with these doors you can’t tell if its locked outside. Mine was.

    I go to get back inside and bam I’m locked out. So I started frantically waving to my family to help, they wave back with smiles like “Oh hi Christina!” They finally come over and tell the hotel staff. They try to get in but the chain lock was stopping them. So long story short ( haha not really ) they attached the key to a broom and went to the room under us balcony and handed it up to me, got out and now they have signs saying please check the doors before going on balcony, all cause of me haha

    What is the naughtiest thing you have done and got away with it?

    Wouldn’t you like to know….

    Which type of food will you never eat?

    I’m a vegetarian so any meat.

    How do you usually spend your weekends?

    Sometimes going out with friends or family. Sometimes staying in my PJs all weekend.

    If you could describe yourself as a flavor, what will it be?

    Hmmm, strawberry.

    What’s been your worst date ever?

    The guy brought his friend! And I ended up paying for myself!

    Hi Sonia, thank you for taking the time to answer our questions.  Please share with our readers a little about yourself and where you’re from?

    Well, I’m 22 years old, I’ve studied tourism and now I’m studying to be a flight attendant. But my greatest passions are photography and writing. I love being in front of the camera. I also love to read. I have a lot of books and one day I would like to publish one.

    I am from a beautiful coastal city of Asturias: Gijón. But I currently live in the capital of Spain, Madrid. It’s a bit stressful, but it’s nice. There are many interesting places to visit.

    Which is your most memorable modeling experience ever?

    All are memorable. But I am left with two incredible experiences. One of them was a photo session of lingerie in the snow. I was so cold, but the result was fantastic! The most beautiful experience was a photo shoot with two beautiful horses. I love the animals. Working with them is something I will never forget.

    What’s your favorite personality trait you like about yourself?

    I am very affectionate and sincere. I think they are two positive traits. I hate lies and I always tell the truth. And when someone is wrong, I always try to make him smile and give him a hug.

    Where do you usually party?

    The truth is that I don’t usually go partying. But I love going out for dinner and having a drink in a quiet pub.

    Which fictional character do you wish was real?

    I like Spiderman! It’s cool. He helps people. I think it’s the only fiction movie I really like. But, when I was little, I loved The Powerpuff Girls. They saved the city by using their superpowers and confronted criminals and monsters. It would be great if they were real!

    Do you sing in the shower?

    Of course! But only when I’m alone at home!

    If you had to describe yourself as a drink, what would it be?

    I think I’d be a dark beer. Only for the brave. If you have not tried it, you will love it. So much better than blonde beer.

    Worst date experience ever? 

    I think I preferred to forget it! Hahaha.

    For me, a sexy person is one who attracts people physically and their personality without being vulgar or explicit.  But, anyway, I think sexy is a very subjective concept. It depends so much on the person to whom you ask … For me, for example, it’s sexy a nice smile, a sweet perfume, pretty lingerie…

    Hi there! It’s a honor to be featured! I’m originally from a suburb outside of Chicago. I moved to the down to the city as soon as I could! I love the fast pace city life! My modeling and acting career started to take off from there. Once started traveling back and forth to LA I realized that in order to continue to grow I needed to be willing to relocate! About 3 months ago I took the leap, packed up, and moved to West Hollywood. It’s been such an amazing adventure! I love having to take on a new city, and start from the bottom again! There are a lot of opportunities out here! It’s a great  opportunity to grow as a artist, and establish myself in a new city! I’m excited to what this next year will bring!

    How will you describe your fashion style?

    My style is all over the place! I’m constantly evolving my look. Currently, I would categorize myself as a Boho with a high fashion twist. I  love a classic black dress, but have hippie soul.

    What do you find most challenging about being an actress and model?

    Ohhh man, this is such a tough question. This industry can be (and is) very cut throat. I think the biggest thing is having a strong,  supportive, and motivated people. I know my family and friends have really kept me grounded. They are the type of people who will have you’re back no matter what, but tell you when you’re being a total fucking asshole. (Lol, pardon my French.) For me I couldn’t ask anything more from a friend. I love that they tell me what I need to hear even when it’s not what I want to hear. To me that’s the mark of a true friend.

    Do you have an exercise regime to stay fit?

    I recently started to make it a point to go to my gym. I have always been very active person in general. I love walks, and will walk anywhere I can. When I go to the gym I’ll warm up on the trademill for 5 min. After that I do 5-10 60 second sprints to get my heart rate going. I always try to  have a core work out in my regiment followed by focusing on arms or legs.

    Have you ever laughed at something you shouldn’t?

    All the time. I have a pretty dry sarcastic sense of humor. I usually have to warn people about it.

    If you could have any feature from an animal, what would you want?

    Hmmm. I would either want swan wings or the eyes of lion. 🙂

    Which was the last movie you caught and was it any good?

    I have to be completely honest I can’t even remember the last time I went to a movie theater… the last movie I watched was with my brother. We had a Star Wars marathon.

    What is the lamest pickup line or attempt a guy has tried to know you?

    I can’t even single one out. I hate when guys try to flex their ego. I am old school when it comes to the whole dating thing so any time a dude is over aggressive it’s such a turn off.

    Hi Marine it is a pleasure to feature you on SimplySxy.  Please share with our readers a little about yourself and where you’re from?

    Hi, thanks for having me! I was born in France, and moved to Seattle when I was two years old. I moved to LA a little over a year ago to pursue my acting career.

    How did you get started into acting?

    I was in elementary school, I think in second or third grade, and did a violin duet for the school talent show. According to my step father in four steps I went from shaking with fear to cool, calm, collected, and having the time of my life. I may have quit violin but the love affair with the stage has continued.

    What has been your most memorable experience to date?

    After I graduated college I did four months with a touring company in North Carolina, we did a musical for elementary schools all across the state. Most of these children we performed for had never seen live theatre before, which was such a delight.. It was amazing.

    What do you say is the most challenging aspect when it comes to acting?

    Honestly it’s not the craft, or the constant rejection I find most challenging. As an actor you’re the only one responsible for your career. You have to hold the fire to your own ass, and that’s a hard thing to sustain over a long period of time.

    Do you have any phobias?

    I wouldn’t say a full blown phobia, but I’m very scared of flying. I’m always convinced we’re about to go down. Also, spiders. I really dislike spiders.

    How do you usually spend your weekends?

    Sundays are Seahawks days during the season, gotta go watch the boys play. There’s always some gym time and then cuddles with my cats as well. Other than that, I’ve got books to catch up on, I’ve been meaning to play through Mass Effect (on PC) or I hang out with friends.

    Is there anything you wish would come back into fashion?

    Nothing I’d like to bring back, but I’m loving the current trend towards letting people express themselves in their own fashion. Cover Girl made a huge step by announcing James Charles as their first Cover Boy and I’d love to see more brands follow their lead.

    What’s been your worst date ever?

    I met a guy from Tinder, yes I know fatal first step, who was thirty minutes late and then proceeded to talk only about himself. He was starving but hated to eat in front of girls, so he kept talking about how he never ate in front of dates. Eventually he told me about his phobia of vomiting, and finished off with a diatribe about how deep conversations with dates was a terrible idea. His rational was, if he revealed too much about himself girls always found one tiny thing they didn’t like and then wouldn’t sleep with him. Needless to say there was no kiss, and I did not contact him again.
