Hi Kate, thank you very much for your time taken to answer our questions on SimplySxy. Can you share with our readers a little about yourself and where you’re from?

I’m a 5’1 ball of fun and I’m from Vancouver, BC. Most of my relatives reside in LA though – I love it there, and that’s where my heart is! I just turned 24 and I currently work in the medical field. I’m planning to pursue medical sonography or pediatric nursing in the near future. I want to work with kids ’cause I’m a kid myself!

How will you describe your personal fashion style?

My style is so diverse. I’ll rock anything and everything. You could spot me in Louboutins or Huaraches. Regardless – clean, classy and timeless are my favorite looks by far.

Which items are a must have in your bag whenever you are out?

Credit card, ID, cash, powder, lipstick and keys!

You have many fabulous photos of food posts on your instagram. What is your secret to having that amazing body even with all these delicious pleasures?

To put it simply – moderation. I LOVE food, but I’m also active and try to gym whenever I can. Having a gym partner to push you out of your comfort zone helps and switching it up by doing activities that you enjoy.

Please share with us 3 fun facts about yourself!

1. I’m a pretty introverted individual and tend to have grandma-like characteristics. With that being said, I’m an avid reader, LOVE baking and adore tea! My extroverted side comes out to play when I travel.. My one goal is to travel the world.

2. I’ve never ever had cosmetic surgery. Haha, I’ve been asked this so many times or people just assume things, so I thought I’d throw it out there. Ladies and gents – I get it from my momma. ; )

3. I’m a mix of Filipino, Japanese and Spanish. I have a couple tattoos in Japanese script – I love ink!!

Do you feel more comfortable in a bikini or lingerie?

I feel more comfortable in lingerie.. Because it’s only exposed to that one person you’re getting intimate with.

What can a guy do to catch your attention?

Buy me food? Just kidding! Sort of. In all seriousness, someone who can make me laugh or smile until it hurts – that catches my attention the most! To keep my attention, genuine kindness and persistence are a must.

Which is your favorite body part?

My favorite would be my eyes. I love how expressive eyes can be without having to say a word.

My definition of sexy is someone who exudes confidence while staying true to themselves. Someone that worries more on how they view the world, not how the world views them. I feel like what’s truly sexy is how amazing a person makes you feel based on actions – not of what you see.

Interview with Uyi, gorgeous model from Hong Kong

SimplySxy: Hi there Uyi, thank you for this interview. It is a pleasure to have you on SimplySxy. Please share a little about yourself and where you’re from.

Uyi: Hi! Thanks for the invitation and I’m glad to have an interview on SimplySxy! I am Uyi from Hong Kong and a student studying Fashion Marketing at Polytechnic University. Modelling is my part-time job and doing outdoor activities is my hobby !

SimplySxy: Share with our readers about your secret to that gorgeous skin. What’s your daily beauty regime like?

Uyi: Haha … Thank you. Actually I had started my daily skincare process since I was a secondary student! My mum inspired me a lot as she told me that girls should start to have a good skincare routine earlier so that you can keep look like younger when you are 35. Washing the face only with pure water and then applying some toner and day cream is my daily morning skincare routine. At night, the one thing I must do first is to remove my makeup once i back home, and have the remaining skincare process. A tip that I use to do is apply the facial mask during bath time, cause the hot air can improve its effectiveness!

SimplySxy: Apart from modeling, you are also actively involved in beauty pageants, and wedding and makeup demos. How do you balance the different roles while maintaining a career in this field?

Uyi: It’s quite hard to balance the different roles and I’m still working on it ! As I am still a student, studying is my first choice rather than modelling.

SimplySxy: You’ve done a number of really great photoshoots, which are your personal favorites?

Uyi: I had worked with a photographer called Frank Freeman and my favourite work pieces are under his camera! Let’s check out his website on Instagram – theeveningblue. Under his camera, the blue of sky is amazing!

SimplySxy: Tell us something about yourself that might surprise people?

Uyi: I must say that I am a boyish girl that people might not believe me. I do love car game and some bloody game or animation! Playing GTA and CSO, Fast and Furious is my favourite movie! I will go to the video game centre alone sometimes and it’s quite funny to see the men and the boys there were shocked by a girl playing “initial D” ( a famous video car game ) !

SimplySxy: Are there any designers that you really like to wear? How would you describe your style?

Uyi: I would describe my style as laid-back. I don’t really like the mix and match and I’m too lazy to dress up in an elegant outfit. T shirt and the shorts are my all time favourites ! Also with the flip-flop 🙂

SimplySxy: What’s your dream modeling gig?

Uyi: Must be Victoria Secret catwalk show! It’s amazing and it’s my dream modelling gig! Of course I know it is quite impossible for me haha!

Uyi: To define sexy, I would say it’s your self-confidence inside your soul. With this, you can show your temperament of sexy with your every action and speak.

SimplySxy: Hi Priscilia, thank you very much for your time taken to answer our questions on SimplySxy. Can you share with our readers a little about yourself and where you’re from?

Priscilia: Hi everyone, I am 23 years old and I’m from sunny Singapore. I am currently waiting for school in Los Angeles, USA. Really excited for that! I love traveling around the world to learn more about other people’s culture! I’m very adventurous! I love learning new things in life and meeting new people out there!

SimplySxy: How will you describe your personal fashion style?

Priscilia: I would say my personal style is chic, bold and classy. I’m always open to stepping out of my comfort zone and switching up my looks. I have so many different pieces in my wardrobe and I love mixing and matching to create different outfits.

SimplySxy: What are some accessories and items you can’t leave home without?

Priscilia: My sunnies, my rings and bracelets. I feel that these accessories spice up my look overall.

SimplySxy: Which is one city you will love to visit but have yet to do so?

Priscilia: Santorini!! It’s so beautiful!

SimplySxy: What is your beauty secret to looking so good?

Priscilia: I would say drink loads and loads of water to keep your skin hydrated and have at least 8 hours of beauty sleep.

SimplySxy: Are you more of a lingerie or bikini girl?

Priscilia: Hmm I would say both? I love going to Victoria’s Secret and La Senza to shop for lingerie.. Especially those with intricate designs on it.. It’s so pretty to look at haha. I love going to the beach too so I’m always in need of new sets of bikini!

SimplySxy: What is the naughtiest thing you have ever done?

Priscilia: Asking a homeless person if I could borrow a dollar just for fun haha..

Yinghui: I’ll always go for something sweet and simple. I feel that I can never pull off rock/sexy style.

SimplySxy: What are some must have items in every girl’s wardrobe?

Yinghui: A dress and a nubra is a must!!! Dress is to go on special dates. And nubra comes in handy when you can see your bra sticking out of your dress or you’re wearing a bare back dress. It is a must for me because it is a major turn off to see your bra sticking out of your clothes

SimplySxy: Which is one city you will love to visit but have yet to do so?

Yinghui: Paris! I think It’s every girl’s dream to go there at least once

SimplySxy: Do you have any hobbies?

Yinghui: Oh yes. I did yoga during my free time with my bff! But I rarely have any free time 🙁

SimplySxy: If you could play any movie character, who will it be?

Yinghui: Nah. I rather be the one that’s watching the movie

SimplySxy: What is your idea of a romantic getaway?

Yinghui: Somewhere that have a clear and clean blue sea water. And there’s a perfect spot without any disturbance and a great view. That would be perfect enough. And definitely a great partner to go with.

Lheslie Ann Ramos means business

Determination and having a high drive for success has contribtued to Lheslie Ann Ramos expanding her Lara brand of salons and spas to what it is today. With a strong interest in fashion and modeling, Lheslie ensures she’s always up to date with the latest and fashionable trend changes in the industry. And she looks fabulous in a bikini too!

SimplySxy: Hi Lheslie, thank you for being on SimplySxy. Can you share a little about yourself and where you’re from to our readers?

Lheslie: I am a 25-year-old businesswoman from the Philippines. I also do modeling on the side, but it is just part of my greater interest in fashion. It has helped me a lot with my current businesses, Lara Salon and Spa and Lara clothing line. I have been able to spot trends and see the inner workings of the fashion industry to keep my businesses up to date.

SimplySxy: What has been your career highligh so far?

Lheslie: On the business side, I am most proud of establishing and building my Lara brand for salons and spas as well as my Lara brand of clothing. On a more personal note, I am proud to have been able to help support my family, provide a good education for my siblings and a comfortable home.

SimplySxy: Tell us 3 interesting facts about yourself!

Lheslie: I am a cat person. I enjoy traveling on a whim. Going to different places with just a bag pack and a guidebook. I also have a little girl who I help support in Thailand.

SimplySxy: Can you share with us one embarrassing thing that has happened to you?

Lheslie: I once walked into a men’s bathroom in another country, because I was confused by the signs. Needless to say some of the men were not happy….haha or maybe they were.

SimplySxy: What kind of guys attracts you?

Lheslie: I know it is a cliché but I am more into personality than looks. It is absolutely true, at least in my case that if you can make a woman laugh you has won half the battle. I also want a guy who is driven, a partner who understands hard work and gives me insight from a business point of view. Of course a guy who also knows how to have some fun after a hard day’s work.

SimplySxy: Describe an ideal romantic date?

Lheslie: Like I mentioned before, I love traveling on a whim. So maybe a stay on a beach and eating at a hole in the wall restaurants that serves the local specialties.

SimplySxy: Do you have any hobbies?

Lheslie: I am beginning to get into cars. I am not talking about buying expensive cars, but more of the Fast and Furious 1 experience. Setting up stock cars.

Babe of the day: Rachel Goh

SimplySxy: Hi Rachel, thank you very much for your time taken to answer our questions on SimplySxy. Can you share with our readers a little about yourself and where you’re from?

Rachel: Hi, thank you for having me. I was born in Malaysia but raised in Singapore since young. I’m hitting 20 in November and I’m currently working as a broker in the agriculture commodities industry.

SimplySxy: How will you describe your personal fashion style?

Rachel: Hmmm, I would say it’s classicists/minimalistic. Often, I stick to my staples. Sometimes, when I feel like it, I might just throw on something bright or fun. Of course, I still do try to switch it up once in awhile and try out other styles.

SimplySxy: What will be your choice of style if you are going for the sexy look?

Rachel: I will say I will go for the LBD look or pair a crop with jeans.

SimplySxy: Where will we most likely find you partying away on a Saturday night?

Rachel: Hahaha, you will most probably find me lounging around my apartment, watching movies in bed. Otherwise, I’m most likely to be catching up with my girlfriends.

SimplySxy: Your favourite alcoholic drink?

Rachel: I really enjoy pina colada when I’m just chilling by the seaside, but most of the time, you’d probably see me grabbing a beer. If I’m feeling extra fancy, then scotch on the rocks.

SimplySxy: Can you share with us 3 fun facts about yourself?

Rachel: I achieved my black belt in Taekwondo when I was 16. Second, I can actually sleep for one whole day, which I meant full on 24hours, and not wake up for a tiny bit. Lastly, I’m a glutton, I like to explore around for good food.

SimplySxy: What is the craziest thing you have ever done?

Rachel: I don’t think I’ve ever done anything crazy after going through 20 years of life.

SimplySxy: It’s been a great pleasure to have you on SimplySxy, Rachel. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”?

Rachel: Wearing lesser clothes doesn’t mean sexy, well at least to me. I see sexiness in one where they love every inch of themselves despite living in such a judgemental society. I see sexy in one when they have this inner confidence in them. I see sexy where I see them having a sense of humour.

Tammy Ng is our favourite girl next door

Tammy Ng is the type of girl you had a crush on and looked out for her everytime you were in school. Still in University and modelling at the same time, we’re happy to have Tammy answer our questions and share her amazing photos in this sexy interview.

Hi Tammy it’s a great pleasure to feature you on SimplySxy. Can you share with our readers a little about yourself and where you’re from?

Hi! Well, I’m really a small town girl, from Melaka, Malaysia. Currently I’m residing in Kuala Lumpur. I’m pursuing a degree in Physiotherapy, and doing part-time modelling as well.

How did you start in modelling?

Actually, I started out as a freelance showgirl/gridgirl for auto-shows and events. That was only a year back. I was doing it for fun and the extra money I earned wasn’t so bad as well. After that, opportunities for more serious modelling such as magazine shoots came knocking. However, my studies always comes first. Also, due to my height, I’m not very tall *laughs*, so that is sort of a setback, unfortunately. But it is kind of my dream to make the “petite” modelling industry grow if possible *laughs*

What are some of your modeling highlights so far?

Recently, I had the opportunity to be featured as Girlfriend of the Month in April ’15 issue of FHM Malaysia. Also, I had done a photoshoot for an e-mag, Ministry of Superbike as a cover girl and was featured in their special Ducati Scramblers Edition. Coming up, I’m having a shoot as Babe of the Month with CampusPlus mag and I’m definitely looking forward to it.

Can you share some beauty secrets to looking so fabulous?

*laughs* There is really no specific beauty secrets of mine! I guess, I always drink plenty of water even though I don’t like plain water. I make sure to get enough sleep and stay fit by working out and having balanced meal. Stay healthy, and look better!

Tell us 3 fun facts about yourself!

1. I like to sing. I sing, a lot. In the shower or a car ride, anywhere. But I’ve always been told that I’m a terrible singer! *laughs* Oh well! 2. I was a cheerleader back in schooling days, and I loved cheerleading! Was cheer captain too. 3. This is a bit weird and random, but I love going for buffet meals. I really like the fact that I can eat whatever I want without limit. Greedy when it comes to food *laughs*

Are you more of a lingerie or bikini girl?

Bikinis. I can never have enough of it, and I have to grab it whenever I lay my eyes on a pretty one! Also, because I love going to the beaches.

If you could play any movie character, who will you choose?

Can I be Iron Man? He’s my favorite Marvel’s hero! Or maybe, Iron lady perhaps? *laughs*

Hi Joyce, thank you very much for your time taken to answer our questions on SimplySxy. Can you share with our readers a little about yourself and where you’re from?

Thanks for having me on your site! I’m a lifestyle blogger from Kuala Lumpur that started blogging over 11 years ago on www.kinkybluefairy.net. I basically blog about everything that I do and it’s an online journal of all my adventures through different jobs (I used to be a photographer, fashion editor, and advertising strategist), relationships, travels, and creative projects.

I’ve modeled for brands like Estee Lauder, La Senza, Shu Uemura and L’Oreal; been flown to cover fashion events in NYC, Shanghai, Seoul, Sydney and Paris; and invited as a judge for fashion competitions including Harper’s BAZAAR Malaysia Beauty Awards and Glam Asia’s Top Glam Bloggers.

Now, I manage my own company with a team to run the blog, PR for fashion clients, and an online store selling fashion + festival + party accessories (www.kinkybluefairy.com).

As a fashion inspiration, how will you describe your personal fashion style?

I’m a hippie at heart and love wearing flowy colourful comfortable pieces, but having that said, I’m pretty schizophrenic in my style. I wear whatever I feel like for the day and appropriate for the event I’m attending. Sometimes I wear minimalist structures for my corporate meetings, but overall, I favour lots of colourful patterns!

What are some must have items in every girl’s wardrobe?

Great classic accessories to pull together any outfit- stud earrings, bracelets, watch, rings. Basic silhouettes in different colours to mix and match with the more outrageous pieces- like cropped tops, palazzo pants, oversized collared silk tees, leggings. A great comfortable pair of heels, boat shoes and sandals in black, silver, white and red.

One of the things we love about reading your blog are the reviews and pictures of all the amazing food and drinks you have tried. Is there any indulgence you crave in particular?

I can’t say no to sashimi (Japanese), curry laksa (Malaysian), and an excellent vongole (Italian).

You’ve travelled to numerous cities around the world. Which is one city you will love to visit but have yet to do so?

I have so many on my bucket list! I’ve always wanted to visit Vegas, Berlin and Porto, and just booked my tickets to visit this summer! Next on my list is Prague, Cape Town, Santorini, and Vienna.

Sweet Singaporean blogger Nicole Choo

Already a social media influence with a huge (and increasing) following, Nicole Choo has achieved a lot for someone her age. Bringing her good looks and fashion style together, Nicole tells us what she does to keep in shape and her dream holiday destination.

SimplySxy: Hi Nicole, thank you very much for your time taken to answer our questions on SimplySxy. Can you share with our readers a little about yourself and where you’re from?

Nicole: I’m Nicole Choo from Singapore! I have a keen interest in blogging, sharing what I have on social media and doing Youtube videos. If I were to only do these for a living, I wouldn’t ask for anything else. I’m 16 this year and I’ve never ever saw myself where I am today, but I’m entirely grateful for what I have now.

SimplySxy: How will you describe your personal fashion style?

Nicole: I will never go into specifics when people ask me what my style really is because I wear what I think looks nice, but what I can say is I cannot live without crop tops and would wear anything high waisted! My clothes are a wide variety and I will never settle down on a certain type of style because I’m just a sucker for anything that looks cute.

SimplySxy: What are some must have items in every girl’s wardrobe?

Nicole: In my opinion, an essential in a girl’s closet should be a pair of comfortable ripped jeans, some basic shirts as they’re so great to put outfits together with, and a cute black dress.

SimplySxy: Do you have a diet regime which you follow?

Nicole: Not so serious into dieting or whatever hahahaha. I’m not someone who gains weight easily, I’m actually around 40kg and sometimes it goes higher or a little lower but it’s always within this small range. I stop eating when I feel a tad bit full as I do not like the idea of eating to the brim. I pamper myself with some comfort food like ice cream, cakes, chips…etc but there’s a limit to it and I will not allow myself to eat excessively as I know what I want for my body and how I want to look. Eat small and healthy meals, I feel that’s the trick for a good looking body and don’t forget to work out!

SimplySxy: If you could play a movie character, who will it be?

Nicole: I would definitely play Black Widow in the Avengers because I love how her character goes against gender stereotypes that girls are not as strong as guys. I think its really cool to fight like that and still look so hot. *standing ovation for Scarlett Johansson*

SimplySxy: Can you share with us 3 fun facts about yourself, which your fans probably do not know?

Nicole:

1. I have never really tried eggplant in my life and I’m embarrassed

2. My arm is oddly shaped

3. My surname isn’t actually Choo but it’s a long story

SimplySxy: What is your holiday destination?

Nicole: Many places I would love to visit, but I would pick California because I have never been to the States in my whole life but the idea of going to the beach, shopping and all that makes me want to visit Cali!

SimplySxy: It’s been a great pleasure to have you on SimplySxy, Nicole. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”?

Nicole: Sexy comes to everyone’s head as boobs and ass which is partly true. Sexy is the appropriate word to use when you have really nice assets but it comes in a package. You gotta have a great attitude, good humor, confidence and have a balance in every aspect of your personality because I want to be a little shy sometimes but bold at the appropriate times. I want to be strong on so someone respects me but will know how to make a guy laugh and how to have fun!

Babe of the Day: Melli Voo from Indonesia
Our babe of the day is Melli Voo and we catch up with this fashionable model for you to know her better!

SimplySxy: Hi Melli, it’s a great pleasure to have you on SimplySxy. Can you tell us a little about yourself and where you’re from?

Melli: My name is Melli Voo. I’m Indonesian. I’m not a morning person *LOL. I’m a model for some local brand. I recently graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration.

SimplySxy: How will you describe your fashion style and what do you feel most comfortable in?

Melli: My personal style is kinda edgy and classic, I guess. I wear a lot of black. I love wearing cropped top paired with high waist jeans and a pair of chunky platform shoes or boots. I love mixing and matching to create different outfits with some of the same pieces. So many different ways to express oneself through style. Being unique and different is very important to me.

SimplySxy: Tell us 3 fun facts about yourself?

Melli:
1. I love spending a lot of time in front of a mirror. I can spend hours in front of a mirror just to make sure that my dress and make up are perfectly great, I’m kinda perfectionist.
2. I’m a cat lover. I love to feed stray cats that passing in front of my house and suddenly my house is surrounded by a gang of stray cats.
3. I’d rather just stay home and read a book than go out and party.
SimplySxy: What is one item you can’t leave home without?

Melli: One thing that cannot be left home without is my iphone.

SimplySxy: Do you have any hobbies?

Melli: Yes I do. I love reading a novel and drawing fashion sketches for my upcoming outfit of the day.

SimplySxy: What is the craziest thing you have ever done?

Melli: Well, I could be a meanest person when I’m mad, so there’s one time when I had a fight with my boyfriend, I destroyed one of his stuff and threw it outside until it broke into pieces. After I can control my anger, I just realize that it was unnecessary and I regret it. LOL

SimplySxy: What do you find most attractive about a guy?

Melli: I like a guy who has a good fashion sense. I prefer guys who dress simply and fashionably at the same time. Also, I like knowledgeable and intelligent guy.

SimplySxy: If you could choose any location for a romantic getaway, where will it be?

Melli: I love beaches, so if I could choose any location it will be a quiet virgin island with clean water and sparkling white sand. I think Maldives would be a perfect place to picturing my imagination.

SimplySxy: Thank you again for the lovely interview Melli. Can you tell us how you define “sexy”?

Melli: Sexy isn’t just about the body and looks. Knowing another language, having any kind of accent… that’s one thing that guys/girls find sexy!
