    Hi guys! Thanks so much for this opportunity. ? My names’ Natasha Franklin, and I’m a 22-year-old American Malaysian currently living in Malaysia.

    I’m probably the goofiest girl you’ll ever meet, and I spend most of my time doing freelance modelling, yoga, and… eating? Haha. On a side note, I love anything to do with makeup, clothes and games.

    What is your proudest achievement so far?

    I guess I would say being given the opportunity to travel to so many places people would only dream of. My family is big on travelling, and I’m forever grateful and proud to be able to visit so many places and have so many unique experiences.

    Which is the best compliment you have received?

    That I was prettier in real life! Haha! I don’t know, with how technology is nowadays, I guess sometimes people look different online as opposed to in reality. I also get told that I have a great, genuine smile, and that makes me happy too.

    Do you have any guilty pleasures or indulgences?

    I probably have way too many! I have a major sweet tooth, and my love for chocolate surpasses everything else in life. I’m also a kid at heart, and I’m a sucker for cartoons and games!

    What is your dream super power to have?

    I honestly always wished that I could slow down time, so I would have more time to do the things I really wanted to do. Life gets so busy sometimes, don’t you just wish you had that pause button?

    If you could change one thing about the world, what will it be?

    If I could do anything, it would be to wish people were more empathetic. This world is already tough as it is. If we all just pictured ourselves in each other’s shoes, learnt to love and forgive more rather than to hate and condemn, this world would be a much better place.

    Would you rather read or type very fast?

    I’m a very picky reader, and it’s either I read a book non-stop or don’t read at all. So, I guess I’d prefer to type very fast?

    Funniest or lamest attempt a guy has tried to know you?

    I’ve had a lot of cringy experiences, but I’d say the worst one yet was when a guy approached my friends and I at a table and complained that we should be mingling with the other tables. That as women, we were in a way, like bees. And we needed to pollinate all the other tables because that’s what bees need to do to reproduce. I was like, what? Get this guy out of here. It was probably the worst attempt at a pick-up line I had ever heard.

    Being sexy to me is being confident and comfortable in your own skin. It’s about being beautiful not only on the outside, but on the inside as well. Knowing what you want, taking charge of your life, loving every inch of yourself unapologetically, dressing however you want. It’s basically about “you just doing you”. No matter how a woman looks like, if I see confidence and kindness oozing out of her, I find her to be incredibly sexy.

    I think the best compliment I’ve received is not when someone compliments my physical appearance, rather when they acknowledge my independence.

    How do you pamper yourself?

    I pamper myself by travelling in Malaysia and other countries.

    What do you usually do during the weekends?

    I enjoy my weekends by exercising. Not only it makes me feel healthy and fit but it also makes me feel very relaxed after a long day.

    If you could meet anyone past or present, who will it be?

    It would most definitely be my late grandparents. They are truly amazing people.

    Do you believe in any superstition?

    Yes I do. I believe that we have to be clean before going to bed to avoid nightmares when we are asleep.

    What turns you off on a date?

    I honestly can’t stand someone who is a narcissist.

    I like to listen to music when I am bored. I like to play some online games and do sports.

    Hello lovelies! My name’s Celin, I currently reside in Malaysia. I am a student, an aspiring-performer and a content creator. I am a Broadway and fashion-enthusiast, and I have a weird obsession for poached eggs.

    How will you describe your fashion style?

    As common as this sounds, I would describe my style as versatile. I have an outfit for every occasion, mood and style. From sweats and skate company-tees, long dress shirts and thigh highs to slit-legged dresses and sparkly heels. You don’t wanna know the physical state of my closet right now.

    Where do you usually love to shop from?

    Forever 21, mostly. As I am still a student, so I try to keep it as budget-friendly as possible (and also terribly failing at it at the same time). But whenever I feel like splurging I head online to Fashion Nova, Pretty Little Thing, or In The Style.

    Do you have any hobbies?

    I am almost sure that everyone does this, but during my spare-time, I hold concerts for my imaginary fans where I sing and dance in a little world of my own bedroom. When I’m not in make-believe land, I practice my singing and ballet, as I have a passion and a goal to make it somewhere on Broadway.

    Which kind of movies do you enjoy watching?

    Wes Anderson and Woodie Allen films are a big thing for me. They both have a calm yet ‘noise’ in their plots to keep the movie interesting. I could easily pull out their films and stay-in for the entire day.

    If you can have a superpower, what will it be?

    To able to read minds, I like figuring people out and getting to know people. So it’d be a lot easier to see what people were like in their minds.

    Where is your dream holiday destination?

    My dream holiday destination would be Brazil or Greece. I love places where the environment can keep me busy and excited.

    Have you had a secret admirer? 

    No, as “rigid” and boring as I might sound, I am a girl of her own principles and am very focused on my studies at the moment. So if I had one, I wouldn’t know.

    Sexy to me is knowledge. As the saying goes; “Knowledge is power.” And I am a firm believer of it, power of knowing gives one the confidence and strength to take on anything.

    Very Kpop-ish. I basically got my ‘ fashion look’ when I was 18 because that was the time that I got to know of Hyuna and other Kpop idols. Before that I was just very ‘unripe’.

    Which is the best compliment you have received?

    “Your eyes could kill my soul over and over again, and I will still stare at it”

    Do you have any hobbies?

    Would you believe me if I said all my professions are my hobby? Writing and dancing are my top favourite hobbies.

    Which is the funniest thing you have witnessed or happened to you?

    Trying to throw a joke at my sister. She wouldn’t even have to reply anything but I will be out of breath and in tears when I am trying to tell her the joke.

    If you could change one thing about the world, what will it be?

    Negative jealousy. There are way too many people who get easily jealous and they tend to try and sabotage others. It would be better if they were positively jealous so that it becomes their fuel to achieve their own dreams.

    Where is your dream holiday destination?

    Japan.

    What is your worst date experience ever?

    There is none…hahaha I am probably lucky in this department.

    Hi!! First of all thank you so much for having me! I truly appreciate the feature.

    Well, my name is Azura Zainal and I am from Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia. I come from a very big and tight knit family. There are 7 of us and I am the middle child. Majority of my siblings are engineers and a pilot. It’s just my eldest sister and I decided to take on a more adventurous route! Hehehe. I have been in the entertainment industry for 18 years where I started my career as a TV presenter for Walt Disney Television Pte Ltd way back in 1999 for a flagship show on the channel called Disney Buzz.

    It was the best 7 years of my working life, working for the mouse where I learnt so much about TV presenting and production. Working with all types of nationality from different countries really opened my eyes on how important it is to have an open mind if you really want to learn. After being with the channel for 7 years, I came back to Malaysia and started doing TV programs for local productions. I hosted all kinds/genre of shows like kids, reality, game-show, lifestyle, sports and adventure and then eventually branded myself as a Sports/Travel and Adventure TV Host. Currently I have a show called X-plorasi on TV1 which airs every Saturday at 2pm (travel/adventure) and soon to air a Scuba Diving program in its 3rd season called 13 Hari Kota Kinabalu-Labuan. (you can find it on YouTube 😛 for earlier seasons).

    Besides TV Hosting, I also do a lot of emcee gigs which is also something I love doing and I also had the opportunity to try my hands on radio where I started on HITZ.FM in 2007 and later 2012 was radio announcing for RED FM.   I also have acted in a few dramas and just recently was in a feature film called Temuan Takdir, which won a number of awards internationally.  You must be thinking…GOSH! What else does she do?? Well, I was also one of the main actress (Lorell Robinson) on a stage show for BROADWAY: DREAMGIRLS the Musical which was staged at Istana Budaya in 2012. So…yeah, I love to entertain and challenge myself in every way possible.

    What is your proudest achievement so far?

    My proudest achievement would have to be being chosen out of thousands of hopeful candidates to be the TV Presenter for Walt Disney TV Pte Ltd, and also being nominated for Best Light Entertainment Presenter/Performer in 2002 and 2004 in the Asian Television Awards!

    How do you constantly motivate and inspire yourself?

    In everything that I do, I am always out to seek knowledge. So, whenever I am assigned to work on something, I will make sure I do my best to convey messages and useful information and also putting smiles on peoples’ faces. So it is not a one-way communication but knowing that the audience is able to take something home with them. THAT, motivates and inspires me.

    If you can have a superpower, which will you choose to have?

    If I can have a superpower it would have to be the power to fly, so I can fly to any destination and spread knowledge to the children all over the world.

    Do you have any guilty pleasures when it comes to food?

    Oooo… but of course!! I LOVE ICE CREAM!! I can eat ice cream anytime, anywhere, any day! I can finish a whole tub in 45 minutes!

    How will you describe your fashion style?

    My fashion style is pretty laid back and sporty on a daily basis. I am always in my Nike gears and trainers because I am also known as an active person who likes to work out and do adventurous activities. But there are times when I do love to play dress up and dress my age! (Hehehehe if you are wondering, I am 36 years young) I like to call myself a chameleon when it comes to fashion style. I have made people do a double take when they see me all dressed up.

    Which was the last movie you watched and was it any good?

    Oh wow! If I am not mistaken it was Dark Tower. It wasn’t the best movie I saw…quite a let down for me. But Idris Alba is HAWT!

    What is your idea of an ideal first date? 

    My ideal first date would be a dinner, nothing too fancy, followed by hours in the arcade and then taking a drive to unfamiliar places.

    Hey thanks for this opportunity! I’m Renee from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and currently a 17 year old business, art student.

    Is there a fashion style you are most attracted to?

    I used to be into street wear style but recently there is no specific style that I’m attracted to, because my fashion sense is constantly changing and I also like trying out different styles. I’m more of a “follow the trend” person and love to mix and match my outfits.

    Do you have any hobbies?

    I play piano and love listening to music depending on my mood. Sometimes I watch dramas or do sporting activities during my free time.

    How much of a foodie are you?

    On the scale of 1-10, I would rate myself at 7. I look skinny but I tend to eat a lot when it comes to good food. Despite that, I still won’t gain much of weight. Not sure whether that’s a good or a bad thing though.

    What in life can you not get enough of? 

    Chocolate! Literally the best thing in life. I have various types of chocolate at home and still can’t get enough of it. But lately I’ve been trying to control myself from eating too much because I’m not well hydrated. Still, chocolate is bae.

    If you could travel, where will you go and why?

    Greece, it would be a dream to explore the countless beautiful islands and beaches, and the spectacular castles. Well it’s just amazing being able to go on an adventure to places like these. In fact, having said that they have absolutely incredible views

    If you could time travel, where will you go and why?

    I rather just stay as how it is right now but if I were to choose, either go back to past or to future, then I’d travel to the future instead, I want to see where my discoveries take me and how I’ll end up being. Also there’s no point of travelling back to the past, what’s done is done.

    Which fictional character do you most relate to?

    I’m not sure about fictional characters but my friends and I used to make fun of each other with animals. Apparently I was known as the “kangaroo” because I was once a representative for long jump at school.

    What is the funniest or lamest attempt a guy has tried to know you?

    There was this guy who tried to start a conversation with me on Instagram by sending a picture of a crashed car saying “sorry just crashed into your DMs by accident”. At first I didn’t know he did it on purpose until I found out it wasn’t which I think it’s kind of funny and lame at the same time.

    I personally think that sexy comes from personalities, the way how they express themselves and being passionate about everything. Confidence is key because if you are insecure, or if you slouch and look miserable, that’s obviously not attractive nor sexy.

    Hi there! It’s my pleasure. I’m 18 and I’m from Malaysia although I did spend a portion of my life growing up in New Zealand! People often think I’m very extroverted and that I’m super sociable but trust me, that’s all a lie hahaha. I truly enjoy my alone time and I value that time!

    How often do people pronounce your name correctly the first time they try it?

    In the beginning, truly only one out of a hundred would get it right but only out of sheer luck. I think people have gotten the hang of my name and how to pronounce it right but I guess there are pros and cons to having a unique name. It’s unforgettable since it’s so unique yet so easily forgettable since it’s so hard!! Just to be sure, it’s pronounced “sher-vin” and not “cher-vin” or “sher-vine” (just to make sure everyone gets it right).

     Is there a fashion style you are most attracted to?

    Oh for sure. I love vintage-streetwear although not a large portion of my closet has that sort of style. It’s got this cool vibe to it and can be styled in so many ways. I’ve recently been getting more into it but for the most part; I love all fashion styles equally. I love being formal and feminine yet I love dressing casual-chic and laid back!

     Do you have a secret to looking so fantastic?

    Well thank you!! Honestly, I personally think it comes with lots of effort. It’s that extra time you take in the morning to wash your face and go over your entire skincare routine, or the extra time you take into finding the right style for you. That comes with time, exploration and real dedication. For example, people think that makeup can solve a so called ‘imperfection’ but if you really invest into skincare, even makeup looks a lot better and it’s actually way better because then you’d live with actual healthy skin. It’s the small things that truly play huge differences in how you look and feel. I myself put in a lot of effort into taking care of my skin and the way I look!

    What is your most memorable life experience so far? 

    I think my life as a whole has been a long rollercoaster and that’s a side that many people definitely don’t see from me? I’ve so many memorable life experiences like starting college (as dreadful and difficult as it is, it’s opened my eyes to many things and has allowed me to meet wonderful people) or even things as simple as indulging in new fashion styles. I like switching things up as often as I can, trying anything new for me, it’s a very memorable life experience.

    If you could change one thing in this world, what will it be?

    I’d love to change the fact that in this current time, I feel like most people can’t step out of their house without feeling insecure. Whether its about their physical appearance or mental  health or whether or not they’re literally safe to be out in the world, I’d just like for everyone out here to be able to feel like they can live life without having to worry about finances, their life and whether or not people are judging.

    Would you rather have a horrible short term memory or a horrible long term memory?

    Oh man, that’s tough. I have pretty great memory generally so that’s really hard to decide. I think if I had to pick, I’d go for a horrible short term memory cause that probably means as least the important stuff would stick to my head you know? I mean, imagine forgetting the most important stuff in your life.

     What turns you off on a date?

    Arrogance for sure. Confidence is appealing, but straight up arrogance is just plain annoying and rude. Guys who smell bad can be a turn off too I guess. It’s more the physical hygiene part you know? It’s not particularly nice to know that the guy is not hygienic or doesn’t care about the way he presents himself. Not caring about what people think and being ignorant is very different, they musn’t be confused.

    Ah, sexy has so many definitions. Like I said, confidence is appealing. You could be wearing something that I don’t find attractive but if you work it with confidence, it definitely adds on to the look. Being independent is also pretty sexy, knowing what you want and being able to stand on your own is definitely sexy!
