    Hey SimplySxy, thank you so much for letting me be a part of this. My name is Amanda Seah and I’m a 16 year old from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I fell in love with photography since I was a young toddler as my dad owns a camera shop. I recently got into photography seriously and will further my studies in LA, California for cinematic arts and directing.

    How is your fashion style like?

    Chilled, weird, the more homeless I look the better haha. I can go with many different styles to be honest.

    What in life can you not get enough of? 

    Travelling and food. I read this thing online that says “If travelling was free you’ll never see me again” and I relate to that 100000%.

    Do you have any hobbies?

    Yes of course! I love photography and sports.

    Would you rather have amazingly fast texting speed or be able to read ridiculously fast?

    Read ridiculously fast. Because that will be an advantage in so many ways.

    If you could change one thing in this world, what will it be?

    Clean water for everyone in the world. It’s crazy how modern and improved our world is but yet there are still people in some countries that don’t have clean drinkable water.

    What can a guy do on a date to turn you off?

    On a first date, I don’t want my date to be over touchy or overly sweet. I like to start off as cool chilled friends. If its like our third or fourth date, probably if my date is on the phone too much.

    To me, self confidence is so sexy. In such a judgmental world, it’s hard to have self confidence. But I find people that have self confidence and know what they’re doing so attractive. Of course not overly confident.

    I’m 21 years old and both studying and working at the same time in PR and marketing, a bit too much of a food enthusiast who spends way too much money on new clothes and spontaneous travel tickets. I’m from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – famous for our sunny skies, one-of-a-kind cuisine and upbeat nightlife; notorious for the horrible traffic jams.

    How will you describe your fashion style?

    I’ve gone through so many phases of styles I just can’t count! Nowadays I try to go for a sleeker and more sophisticated look, something more refined and put together like structured pieces in quality materials and more muted colors and prints. I still love wearing my baggy house clothes and my denim cutoff shorts, though!

    What is your secret to looking so fantastic?

    Honestly, 90% of the time I don’t, but you don’t see me posting photos on Instagram when I don’t look good, haha! One thing everyone should know is that social media only portrays the best parts of ourselves! However, some style tips I do have is that a statement lipstick and accessories go a long way! We tend to neglect those and focus on the outfits instead, but really it’s the small details that pack a punch.

    Do you have any hobbies?

    I love travelling and visiting new places, and am constantly on Skyscanner searching up flight prices! Whenever I do have time I love to spend time with my family and friends, read as well as write.

    Which flavor best describes you?

    Eh.. this question stumped me so I had to go take an online test. Here are the results – “Tangy. You are definitely your own person. You’re different and proud of it. After all, why fit in when you can stand out?” I would say it’s somewhat accurate? I’m definitely a little weird at times but it’s what makes me, me!

    How much of a foodie are you?

    So much!! You’d be amazed at how much I can eat. Not sure whether it’s something to be proud or embarrassed about, haha! I don’t have tastebuds of Gordon Ramsay though. If it tastes good to me, I’m good to go.

    Would you rather have a lifetime supply of heels or dresses?

    Heels for sure. Shoes can really elevate your outfit and take it to the next level without a drastic change. For example, a t-shirt and jeans combo would look so much more dressed up and classy with heels compared to sneakers.

    Is there something you totally don’t get about guys? 

    I don’t get how guys can accidentally bump shoulders with each other in the club and the next thing you know they’re one second away from starting a full-blown fight. Also I don’t know how some guys can talk about girls so harshly like “She has no ass” or “She has no boobs” – you’re just lucky your dick isn’t on full display for everyone to see!

    I won’t deny, it’s looks as well of course, but personality wise, I feel someone who is sexy is someone who’s confident. Sure, it’s cliché, but knowing who you are and owning it and having that attitude to match up is so much more attractive than constantly whining to people about how sad your life is or how unattractive you think you are. Also, I find it very sexy when guys have a great sense of humor and are good with their words so they can flirt with you wittily.

    Is there a fashion style you are most attracted to?

    Well, I try to not keep to a very specific style since there are plenty out there and I love a lot but I would just like to stay comfortable yet fashionable.

    Do you have a secret to looking so fantastic?

    Haha well there’s no secret, just effort and plenty of rest.

    What is your most memorable life experience so far? 

    My most memorable life experience would be when I went bungee jumping. I’m really afraid of heights but I tried to conquer it and well it didn’t work out cause I’m still afraid but it was really fun and definitely a memorable moment.

    How much of a party animal are you?

    On a scale of 1/10 I’m probably a 7 or more but it really depends on what the atmosphere is haha.

    If you could change one thing in this world, what will it be?

    I would change the fact that people take cyberbullying as a joke and it’s fine to do it because it isn’t and it does hurt people.

    Would you rather live on the beach or in a cabin in the woods?

    Definitely a beach because a cabin in the woods was a horror movie and I was pretty creeped out, so beach it is!!

    What turns you off on a date?

    What turns me off on a date is when the guy isn’t confident with what he says or he just can’t talk to me. I like confidence in the guys I date, it’s just a good part that I’d love to see in them.

    Everyone is sexy in their own way and sexy comes in many different terms depending on how someone looks at it. To me being sexy doesn’t just mean having a great body and revealing skin, it also means having a great appealing personality as well. To me that’s just the full package of being sexy right there.

    Hello there! I’m currently a 20 year old student from Kuala Lumpur. From time to time, I write blogs about my workout routines and my holidays. Recently, I’ve been doing work that revolves a lot around social media such as Instagram.

    How will you describe your fashion style?

    I love to dress myself as simple as possible. I love changing my looks from time to time, like some days I wear shorts and singlets, or maybe just a floral dress. I keep myself inspired by different people through Instagram. It’s actually fun to try out different styles everyday!

    Do you play any sports?

    I don’t really play sports but the one thing I really love is working out on my own, sometimes at the gym but mostly at home. I love doing cardio but not running. I get my inspiration from different fitspo such as j.crvz and stef_fit on Instagram!

    Are there any favorite quotes you have that you use in life?

    One of my favourite quotes would be “Allow yourself to grow in all the places people thought you never would”

    On a scale of 1-10, how much of a party animal are you?

    I would rate myself as a 5? I rarely go to any parties and I’ve never been into a club because I’m a morning person and I go to bed super early.

    If you could a superpower, what will it be and why?

    I would definitely love to have teleportation powers ! So that I could travel around the world without a care of paying flight tickets because that’s a real headache!

    Which movie did you watch recently and was it any good?

    I LOVE the movie “IT” and I watched it twice. I don’t usually go to the cinema often but when I do, I just pray I don’t get disappointed hahah!

    What is an ideal first date to you?

    I don’t really have an ideal first date. I don’t like fancy dates, I prefer it to be simple and nice. Maybe go out for lunch or dinner and then walk around the garden or something like that.

    The pleasure is all mine.  I come from a small developing city in Kedah, after graduation, I decided to stay in Kuala Lumpur. I majored in Broadcasting and am now doing what I love the most and that is acting. I would say I am a dreamer working on making her dreams a reality.

    How did you get into acting and modeling?

    Modelling was for fun, it started out with a few photoshoots with friends. After a few beauty pageants, it became a source of income as well. Lucky for me, a friend of mine asked me to join an acting competition organized by 8TV 2 years ago. Winning the competition landed me the lead role in one of my dramas, and job offers came after that. I am forever thankful.

    Do you have any guilty pleasures when it comes to food?

    I love cheese, if I can add onto whatever I am eating, trust me, it’ll be there. However, I am trying to cut down on it, so wish me luck.

    Describe a typical day like for yourself.

    I don’t usually have a typical day, because my working schedule can be very unexpected at times. Normally, if I am not working, I would either go to the gym or do some rock climbing/ badminton, and binge watch movies online after. Of course, hanging out with a few of my closest friends would be a must.

    If you could travel to anywhere in the world for a vacation, where will it be?

    I would love to travel to Hawaii, the beautiful beaches is temptation enough. Maybe because I am also a stitch fanatic, everything there seems very interesting to me.

    Which flavor best describes you?

    Mint chocolate. Refreshing and a hint of sweetness.

    Have you ever had a secret admirer?

    I don’t think so, if I knew I had, it wouldn’t be a secret anymore I guess?

    What turns you off on a date?

    Being rude to the waiters and waitresses. I hate it when people think they are more superior than the other person. I especially hate it when they try to use the “whistle” sound to call on the servers.

    How will you describe your fashion style?

    I’ve been told that my style is mostly “comfortably classy”, but I wouldn’t consider myself to have a prominent go-to style as fashion to me is a constantly changing and evolving field. I love experimenting with different looks, and keeping myself inspired through different people and platforms. Besides, where’s the fun if you can only rock one style?

    Do you have any guilty pleasures when it comes to food?

    Well, I don’t think I can live in a world without ice cream, let’s just put it that way. I mean, I know it’s not exactly the healthiest dessert but life is short okay!

    On a scale of 1-10, how much of a shopaholic are you?

    Probably… a 6. I know, surprise! I don’t shop a lot, but I love mixing and matching outfits, creating brand new looks with basics.

    If you could travel to anywhere in the world for a vacation, where will it be?

    Right now, it would be Santorini, Greece. It would be a dream to wake up to that beautiful view.

    Which flavor best describes you?

    Cookies and Cream for sure! A mixture of classic with a hint of fun, and it so happens to be my favourite flavor when it comes to ice cream.

    Where do you usually party?

    Truthfully, I’d much prefer house parties than heading to the club, it’s much more intimate in my opinion.

    What is the funniest or lamest attempt a guy has tried to know you?

    I was walking alone in a mall, and this guy came up to me and told me he had to get a picture with 10 girls or he’ll lose a bet. I agreed because why not? After that, he looked at me and said, “there was no bet, I just needed an excuse to talk to you.” It was both funny and lame at the same time.

    Hi! I’m Rachael from Malaysia and often labelled/described as “short or petite”, sometimes “the dog lady”. Just another girl next door. Perfectionist. A sucker for cheap but expensive-looking things!

    Where do you love to shop from?

    My all-time favourite will be Topshop because they have the petite section for people like us! I’m more of a mainstream shopper and I don’t have any favourite particular stores, I go to shops like Zara, Forever21, H&M but I do occasionally shop online! Still, nothing beats shopping in Bangkok! 😛

    What is your secret to looking so gorgeous?

    To be honest, my self-esteem level is considerably low but how I build self-confidence and maintaining how I look is by being happy-go-lucky and carefree! (Ignore what haters have to say about you and just be yourself!)

    Do you have any hobbies?

    I’m currently into photography (started about last year and still hoping to improve) and I enjoy taking beautiful pictures/portraits. One of my favourite past time is also pets (dogs). I would read all about them (whether it is an article or a story book to how to care for them)

    What kind of music are you into?

    Any kind! Not fussy about music as long as it’s catchy, I’ll enjoy it. My favourite would be R&B.

    If you can travel anywhere in this world, where will you go?

    Maldives!!! Which I’m planning to visit this year. Fingers crossed*

    Have you experienced a funny or embarrassing moment before?

    Always! Friends who know me in person know that I’m a very clumsy and careless person.  I can trip over my own feet and fall, navigate for directions on Waze while searching elsewhere for my phone at the same time!

    What is an ideal first date for you?

    I don’t particularly have an ideal first date but he must be at least decently dressed. He cannot be too creepy.. and most importantly a gentlemen attracts me the most! He doesn’t have to pay for my meals but don’t expect me to pay for his!

Well, I’m Miriam and I blog at Miriam Merry Go Round (www.miriammerrygoround.com) about well really everything I experience in my daily life. Coming from Malaysia, it’s definitely a country with tons of fun adventures and food 😉

    What was  the inspiration behind starting your blog?

    My initial journey with my blog was just as a personal diary where I shared about the teenage frustrations, stuff at that time which were like major decisions in my life but I got more active in blogging after graduating from university. I loved reading about adventures and experiences others shared on their blog and I realised how far in the world you could explore through one’s blog.

    I love making new friends and through blogging I met so many new friends that empowered and helped me grow. Not only that, I believe that no one is ever confined to the place where they are because I hope that through my blog, my readers are also able to experience the joys in life that I encounter.

    Which are your favorite beauty brands and products?

    I am more of a K-beauty brand fan because heavy makeup isn’t something I steer towards. I like the natural look that Koreans pull off, the subtle colors that just highlights the best features instead of heavy makeup. I can literally just go out with just some concealer and maybe mascara. Oh wait! I would say recently my brows play an important part in my daily makeup look. I never leave the house without making sure my brows are in shape.

    What is the funniest thing that has ever happened to you?

    I would say something funny would happen whenever I am around. Odd things that just don’t happen to other will somehow happen to me that my friends literally go speechless. Most of these incident happen because I seriously have the memory of Dory from Finding Nemo. One minute I am talking about a certain incident and the next thing I know, I don’t remember what I was talking about. There was once I was looking for my spoon while dining with friends only to realise it was in my hands the whole time.

    How much of a foodie are you?

    I am a huge foodie! Everyone around me can vouch for that. Just talk about food and you would see my eyes sparkle. I wouldn’t say I am a picky eater or have specific preferences but my taste buds do pick up on the different flavors. I love cooking as well so when I taste something that I really enjoy, I tend to experiment and try to come out with a similar (or better) dish 😉 I have a dream of owning my own food joint one day so I guess my love for food is a bonus.

    I believe that food is one of the greatest joys because how can you not be happy in front of food? Great food also calls for good company and so many beautiful connections can be made with food.

    What kind of movies do you enjoy watching?

    Anything besides Horror! Gosh, take me to watch a horror film and you would see me squirming in my seats or watching from behind my hands. I actually fear for those who watch it with me because my friends told me they actually got shocked from me grabbing them all of the sudden instead of from the movie. *laugh*

    If you could learn anything in this world, what will it be?

    If possible, I would love to learn how to read people’s mind because gosh that would just avoid any unnecessary drama or miscommunications. Sometimes I wished that people would just say what they are thinking but I guess there are somethings that can’t be said. But on a serious note, I would love to learn all the different cuisines from every country because in food, there is so much culture and so much we can learn.

    How will you describe an ideal date?

    An ideal date for me would be going for some fun activities like going for Escape Room, Laser Tag or maybe catch a good movie and of course ending with a good meal. But all in all, the ideal date would be anything as long as it is with the one I love.

    I believe sexy isn’t just about the appearance but one can be intelligently sexy or sexy on the inside as well. Everyone has their own appealing features which can excite those they meet whether emotionally, mentally or physically *wink* Most importantly is just to be yourself no matter what shape or size you are because everyone is just fabulous!

    Hey there, babes. I am Shing Queen, and thanks for giving me a chance to share a slice of me to the readers of SimplySxy. I am a professional emcee from KL, Malaysia. I host all sorts of events from media launches to gala dinners, to even private events like weddings. The limelight on stage is what drives the unceasing passion in me.  Ambitiously 25 this year, never stopped wondering and dreaming of what’s ahead of me. I might be small in size, but I am LOUD, both my voice and my personality, oh, and my laughter too. Haha. And I love meeting people. It’s fun.

    Do you have any hobbies?

    Of course. There are so many of them I don’t know where to start from. Erm.. I can be quite boring at times – I can be a super couch potato, spending hours and hours on TV, yes, not YouTube but TV, on Korean/HK dramas, or Food Network! It’s Food Porn in high res. Haha, and that would lead me to my next hobby, which is cooking. Oh, I love cooking for my friends and family. Fiddling around with new recipes and recreating new flavors from my mum’s old recipes. I wouldn’t call myself an expert, but at least they are begging for more.

    Where do you like to shop from?

    Everywhere actually. As long as it’s cheap and pretty. (Well, I believe every girl loves a good bargain,right?) Mostly online. Doublewoot and Taobao are my Top 2 so far.

    What is your beauty regime like?

    Just like every other girl out there, and being in a demanding industry where you are required to look nice, my figure is always at my concern list. So I TRY to watch my diet. Strictly no supper (excluding cheat days, hehe), no beer, no fizzy drinks. I keep up with gym and Zumba classes.

    As for my skin beauty, I have been very dedicated in making sure that I follow every step day and night to keep my skin moisturized. I learnt that going to bed early is very important, I know it, but have yet to put them into complete practice.

    What kind of food do you love?

    Pastries, pastas and pizzas. Omg, they all start with the letter P! I love different kinds of food depending on mood, really. Just put that sweetcorn, bak kut teh, chicken floss and raw cheese away from me and I will be a happy girl.

    If you were to describe yourself as a flavor, which will it be?

    This is hard…………………………………….spicy? Well, simply because I can be quite feisty at times, but I recover fast.

    Have you experienced a funny or embarrassing moment before?

    Oh yes. Always. A recent one would be me hosting halfway and my heels got stuck in between the gap of the stage, and I almost tripped. But thank God, struggling to keep my balance and pulling my leg out in time saved me from further embarrassment. But I couldn’t stop audiences from laughing.

    What turns you off on a date?

    Bad breath, and being too aggressive.

    I’m a female DJ based in Kuala Lumpur but was born and raised in the historical city of Malacca.

    What do you enjoy most about being a DJ?

    I’ve always love performing for people. And being a DJ allows me to play songs that I love and making the crowd enjoy the song as much as I do.

    Is there any motto or quote you live by?

    Step outside of your comfort zone and never stop growing as an individual.

    What is the best compliment you have received?

    I’ve received many compliments from fans or people that attend my shows telling me how much they enjoy the music. For me that is the best compliment a DJ can ever get.

    Which is your proudest accomplishment so far?

    I would say being able to enjoy what I do right now and making others enjoy themselves at the same time.

    What kind of movies do you enjoy watching?

    I love watching romantic movies filled with action scenes in it. I also love watching reality TV shows.

    If you could change anything in this world, what will it be?

    I would change the weather here in Malaysia. I’ve always loved the 4 seasons because I can’t stand the heat.

    How will you describe an ideal date?

    I love watching movies. So maybe an ideal date would be dinner first and a movie later.

    Sexy for me comes from the inside. Being confident of who you are and never shy to show others. That for me defines sexy.
