Can’t really remember which one was that.

Bikini.
One word that best describes you?
Ordinary.
What’s sexy to you?
Not a must to be revealing. It is a taste, an aura that can’t be describe by words but by feelings.

How do you manage to juggle law school, modeling and your social life?
Definitely not easy! But it’s all about time management and I’m good to go! I’m pretty much occupied on weekdays as I have to focus on my classes, revisions and anything that has to do with school. In terms of modelling, I will usually work on weekends. There’s always time to catch up with family and friends in-between. I’ve been busy studies and career wise, but I am enjoying it.
What is a typical day like for you?
Pretty hectic during the day when I have classes. Then, more laid back during the evening for some coffee and chill time!
Do you have any preferred fashion style?
Hmmm… not really! I like a lot of fashion styles and I get inspired to anything that I see is nice. But most of my outfits are a mixture of chic and a little bit of edgy.
What’s your secret to looking so fabulous?
Self pampering at least once a week! Doing my hair, manicure and pedicure at the least. Eat healthily, kickboxing for a toned body at least twice a week and visits to the beautician for skin advice helps as well.

1) I was a cheerleader in high school but I didn’t know how to do a proper cartwheel.

Lol hmmm…. Lingerie??
Your favourite body part?
My butt. LOL. But it needs more work to get the perfect butt!
What’s sexy to you?
Confidence! Doesn’t matter on a guy or girl, confidence in one self is sexy to me. But not too extra confident!
I have lived for 17 years in Labuan, a small island in the east of Malaysia, moved to Kuala Lumpur to explore the horizons but study in Inti University in Nilai. I am a full time student who tries her best to cope with the dreams I am chasing outside the classroom world. Hahaha. I am 19 years old, and a mix blood of Filipino and Chinese. I am a realist, being sarcastic and very direct to the facts, but I am also a fan of fantasy day dreaming and scripting.
How did you get started into modelling?
I wouldn’t dare to call what I do modeling really as I aspire to be one that I idolize such as Adriana Lima, Tyra Banks, Kendall Jenner etc, those to me are models. But I started doing some car ambassador jobs when I was 14 (someone inbox me on facebook and that’s when I realized this whole other world of goddesses did exist!)
You’ve won several beauty pageants such as Miss Race Queen Malaysia and Miss Santabella. Which pageant is most memorable to you?
Neither of those. The ones I joined these year would be the most memorable ones, Miss KL Earth, Miss Malaysia earth and also Miss Asia Awards held in Shanghai (international). Miss KL earth is unforgettable for the friends I have made, true and not stereotypical. Miss Asia Awards was a shock for me as I never expected to win it, especially with all the strong international contenders.
What are the common misconceptions people have about models?
The misconceptions would be that models, or aspiring ones, are just a matter of decorations ready to be touched or dumb. I am not saying there aren’t those types. I’m just saying there are also those that still understand values of themselves and actually have a mind of their own. Taa – daa, 4.0GPA student right here. *bragging
And the best perks you enjoy about being a model are?
Oooohhhhhhhhhh the free stuffs from sponsorships. AHAHAHA I secretly laugh wickedly everytime I receive one.
Three fun facts about yourself not many people know of?
This is hard. Uhmmm, My biggest secret aspiration is to become a novelist (I love writing). I am obsessed with nail biting so I never really had my nails long at any point in my life, except for extensions, and I have the guilty pleasure of kissing my dog and looking into its eyes for hours. HAHA okay – I am WEIRD.
Do you have a preferred side when taking selfies?
My face is not symmetrical so ya. Right side when smiling, left side when doing the “Oh I’m gonna seduce you face”. Never full faced.
If you had the chance to collaborate with anyone, who will you choose?
Roy from this new Kpop band called 5tion (I want to have a shoot with him or whatever haha). I’m not really a kpop fan actually, more to the Hollywood Beckham and Robert Downey Junior but met Roy during the ShangHai pageant and got all girlcrush on him in secret. Ahhhh. Regretted not asking his number lol. Or if to take it down a notch, would love to meet and collaborate with a Malaysia youtube artiste, it looks fun.
What’s the sexiest item in your wardrobe?
A button up plain white boyfriend Tee. Trust me, it is sexier than it sounds.
Your favourite body part?
My naturally born curves :3
What’s the definition of sexy to you?
Intelligence, elegance, class and of course a touch of mysteriousness is the most seductive definition of sexy to me.
Hi there! I’m Fiona from Malaysia. I’m currently working as an event planner but I do model and perform on the side as well.
I love to dance, pole and game. My all-time favorite, Dota 2.
How did you begin modeling?
I started a few years back for a little project by fashion students, a friend of mine was working on, just to help him out and have some fun experiencing something new. He taught me how to model and walk for runways. I only began and learned how to model in front of a camera earlier this year sometime in March or April, when I was shortlisted as one of FHM Malaysia’s Girl Next Door 2015 Finalist.
What is your most memorable highlight or achievement so far?
Probably being in the FHM Malaysia’s Girl Next Door 2015 Competition. Just so many new things that I’ve learned, meeting great new people, and made good friends, the girls themselves who are the absolute best. Since then, I was in an industry I never thought I’d be in.
What is the secret behind staying in such fabulous shape?
It’s no secret really. I try to eat well most of the time. I’d stay away from carbonated drinks and drink lots of water. I’d make it a point to do some form of exercise at least 5 times a week. If I’m not at dance or pole class, I’d work out or do yoga at home.
Most embarrassing thing you’ve experienced?
Sprained my ankle really bad from tripping over myself while running. *face palm*
Three things you can’t leave home without?
My purse, my little makeup bag, and a bottle of water.
If you had the chance to time travel, past or present, where will it be?
The present future. Just to have a peek at life then.
Are you more comfortable in lingerie or bikini?
Bikini. It’s much more freeing and comfortable.
What’s the sexiest thing in your wardrobe?
My nightie.
Your favourite body part?
Legs all the way.
How do you define “sexy”?
Being comfortable in your own skin and confident in your own way.
I’m Nicole from Penang, Malaysia – more commonly known as ncavien on my social media sites. Currently doing my final semester in my degree course.
When did you start blogging and how did it begin?
I started about 6 years back when I was in secondary school because everyone was creating one but I did not actually produce good content (it was actually really bad haha). I settled down on a proper blog with more creative and personal content about 3 years ago, which is my current one – ncavien.
It is very competitive being a blogger these days. How do you stand out from the rest and stay unique to your readers?
Personally I think I have a different approach to my blog and style in terms of fashion and writing. I believe my fashion style is more of a mix of grunge and minimalism (especially my love for dark coloured lipsticks), being true to myself and having my own personal style helps me stand out.
What are some misconceptions people have about bloggers?
That it is easy. To be frank, I’m far from being as successful as half the bloggers I know but blogging is something that comes from passion and sharing creative juices with others. It is definitely not easy to maintain a blog with good content.
How is a typical day like for you?
Doing assignments, dressing up, sleeping – things like that. My days are pretty boring honestly.
Where do you usually shop for clothes?
Topshop! Bits and pieces everywhere else but mainly Topshop.
What’s one overrated fashion accessory?
Can’t think of one. If you can carry the accessory well, by all means go ahead and do you. Just make sure you’re not just following the trend… if that’s the case it’s probably overrated.
Which holiday destination do you absolutely want to go?
Rome.
If you had the chance to learn anything in this world, what will it be?
Gymnastics.
What music best describes you?
Probably rock with a mix of pop and a dash of RnB.
What’s sexy to you?
Confidence and character. If you believe in yourself, feel comfortable with your body, carry yourself well and love yourself, for who you are and for all the right reasons, it’ll show. Sexy doesn’t have to be related to sexual desires but how you carry yourself for people to perceive you and respect you… in a sexy way.
You’ve probably heard her voice on radio and seen her on TV. Now meet the lady behind all that – Serena Choong, as she shares valuable tips on how to be successful as an emcee and her journey from radio DJ to TV.
Hi Serena, thank you very much for your time taken to answer our questions on SimplySxy. Can you share with our readers a little about yourself and where you’re from?
HELLO and it is MY pleasure to be here! Well, I’d been on radio for about 150 years 😉 so you probably would’ve heard my voice here and there.
Ok I’ll be serious now, I will NEVER forget my first job as it’s impossible – I started as a Hitz fm radio DJ at 00:00 January 1, year 2000 (Pretty hard to forget) I was also the ONLY girl on the station for a while. Since then I’d moved onto hitz.tv, did some stints on ntv7, some ASTRO channels, capital tv, and once as judge on Hot Guys Who Cook (on Diva Universal). I was last a breakfast DJ on Mix fm. Radio kickstarted my emceeing career – which is what I do mostly now, so I’m very thankful for my roots.
OH, I was also a club DJ and am still a voice over talent. ALWAYS wanted to be that voice on the train, in the elevator etc. None of that yet but I am the operator voice in some companies automated systems 😉

How will you describe your fashion style?
BORING. I hope not!!! I would say casual chic. I whip out the 6” heels normally only when I’m hosting. Otherwise it’s skate shoes, skinnies, loose shirts, blazers.
Muse for ThirtyFour Metal series
What are some items in your wardrobe you can’t live without?
My go-to skinny jeans in every shade of blue imaginable, black and white; my many many white shirts, my blazer. My many many rings! Love em!
Hosting Star Hill’s culinary Series with Chef Tim Ross-Watson
Do you have any favourite brands or shops you frequent?
I’m every retailers dream! I shop EVERYWHERE! I went through an online shopping phase at one point – stuff from the UK, the States, Korea, you NAME IT! My credit card company was VERY happy with me needless to say!
SuperJunior -M at Hari Belia
What tips can you give for someone who inspires to be a radio or TV host?
I will never forget the first and most precious advise I got from my then immediate boss, now CEO of ASTRO Radio Jake Abdullah – BE YOURSELF. If you put on an accent or try to be anyone else, people can tell in a second and won’t relate to you. Be the best yourself that you can be and you will go far.
Along the way I learnt many lessons – be punctual, be courteous, be accountable, and remember that the CLIENT is ALWAYS right! An emcee and host is hired to reflect the best of whatever the client is trying to portray on a programme or at an event. Do that, and you should be just fine.
Hosting the press con for CZ12 Jackie Chan
Do you think you have a sexy voice?
GOD NO! I don’t know any one who thinks that of themselves! I have a very low voice that I know. Sometimes the frequency’s so low you can hardly pick up on what I’m saying. Some have called my voice “Alphalt”.
Hot guys Who Cook 2 (Diva Universal)
What do you do most when you are bored?
I don’t get much chance to be bored – I have been blessed with a steady stream of hosting and voice over jobs. I’m also in the process of upgrading my site @ccfunfactory (look for us on insta and fb). I started @ccfunfactory cuz of my child #theboss #chloecc. We have a bunch of Ready-to-wear super cool onesies for your precious little ones. With prints like #OOTD, #THEBOSS, #KEEPCALMANDPOOPOO …
Our #custom onesies are also quite popular! We are working on MORE designs! Look out for the updated site SOON!
Of course, keeping up with my 16 month old toddler keeps me BUSY! So – no time for Korean series!
Otherwise, you pretty much know what I’m doing on a daily basis thru FB and Insta.

Receiving award for emcee of the year 2012
It’s been a great pleasure to feature you on SimplySxy, Serena. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”?
One of the secrets to healthy living and looking beautiful is having a positive mindset, and we believe that’s the secret to Melissa Th’ng’s gorgeousness. From being on Asia’s Next Top Model to event emcee, this babe from Malaysia is all about spreading joy and happiness to everyone around her.
Hi Melissa, thank you for taking the time to answer our questions on SimplySxy. Please share with us a little about yourself and where you’re from?
Absolutely! Thanks for having me! I’m a small town girl, grew up in Ipoh! My friends say I’m always smiling and cheerful. I am allergic to negativity. I believe in spreading good vibes to anyone that talks to me. I get annoyed at people who disrespect the elders and are mean to animals. (Except cockroaches, you can kill them, they are monsters.) I’m not materialistic, but I do spend all my money on food. So everytime I get my paycheck, the first meal is Japanese food. My passion is talking on radio, TV and emceeing events.
What are the best perks about being a model?
I’m actually working as a radio host and event emcee. But to answer your question, from being on the show (Asia’s Next Top Model Season 1), being a model, you get to live the dream of many little girls! The fact that you’re paid to play dress up, like be a Barbie Doll for a living, that’s pretty fun! And seeing yourself on the cover of magazines or print ads, that’s always a thrill! One day, I can tell my grandkids “Your poh poh has been on Harper’s Bazaar Magazine”, and they’re going to be hearing about it over and over again hahaha!! (Poor kids)
Has there been an embarrassing or funny moment you’ve experienced or seen at one of your modeling events?
On ANTM, there was an episode that I couldn’t fit into my size 0 clothes. HAHAH!! I’m no size 0, I like food and if you watched the series, you’d know that I am literally the exception to the entire Top Model franchise – I’m the only one who isn’t as skinny or as tall. That fact was really amplified when I couldn’t fit my butt into the pants. What made it worst was that all this is aired on INTERNATIONAL TELEVISION! So people from all around the world were literally sending me mail, laughing with or at me about it haha!
What’s your secret to looking so gorgeous?
Oh my, thank you so much! My secret is my Instagram filter lah. Haha okay no, I was joking, but there is this saying that I really believe in, “Happy girls are the prettiest”. I’m surrounded by good friends, close family and wonderful fans. All these good vibes really make me happy and I guess I radiate that energy to everyone else. I also drink a lot of water and smile a lot 😀
If you were given one superpower, which will you choose and why?
Muahaha! Definitely the power to eat whatever I want and not get fat hahaha! I just love food so much, the amount times I get hungry, I’m surprised I can still fit through the door, really. Or if I could have two superpowers, maybe a more beauty pageant-y thought to supply clean water to every country.
Do you have any hobbies?
You know something? I’m so blessed, because my hobby is my job. I can’t even believe my luck, that I can actually call it a job. Somedays when I have to be on the radio morning show, I’m up at 5am, it’s still pitch dark. I catch myself smiling and humming while walking towards the studios. That’s how I know I honestly, genuinely love what I do. And many times, my Friday nights are spent prepping for my emcee gigs, and while that means that I can’t meetup with my friends, I honestly have no problem with that. I find myself happy to do emcee prep! Aside from that, in my spare time, I spend it with my friends and family. And my guilty pleasure is curling up with a cup of hot tea, watching comedy.
What is one clothing you love the most in your wardrobe?
One of my clothes sponsors, Club Couture gave me this faux leather jacket and I am OBSESSED! I wear it everywhere because I can match it with everything! If I’m feeling casual, I wear denim shorts and boots, but once I put on that jacket, it just completes my look! If I’m headed for a night out, I pair it with a short dress. Also because I’m quite low-maintenance, so I fall in love with versatile pieces hehe! Honestly, every girl should have a faux leather jacket in her wardrobe.
Which is your favorite body part?
Wow, there’s really no way to answer this question without coming across as vain haha! But I really do appreciate my hair! Remember, I’m a low-maintenance girl. My hair is super fuss free, I wake up, I don’t even comb my hair, I flip it over and it looks good to go. It’s really soft and fluffy, and everyday seems to be a good hair day to be honest. So I’m thankful I inherited my mom’s hair. If I got my dad’s hair on the other hand………. Bless. Hahaha!
It’s a great pleasure to feature you on SimplySxy, Melissa. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”?
The pleasure is mine! Sexy is how you carry yourself. This means that you can be in sweats and still look sexy. You could be wearing the most expensive dress, best hair and makeup, but if you’re not confident, it will show, and I can guarantee that you’re not gonna look or feel sexy. So stand up straight, shoulders back, smile and be comfortable with who you are! (That’s if you want to be sexy lah, if not, then go back to hunching. I’m not your mother, who am I to tell you to stand straight anyway, right? :D)
I am from Kuching, Sarawak. I am a passionate freelance Emcee. Cat lover here.
How will you describe your fashion style?
Smile is my best fashion, I will keep my clothing coordination simple by mixing and matching the wardrobe I have.
What’s the coolest outfit in your wardrobe?
Silver color dress.
Where do you usually shop?
Bella Classic, reason because I am quite tall, it is a little tough for me to find a perfect fit length dress. Bella Classic happens to fit my height perfectly.
What’s the most expensive item you have splurged on?
There is never a need to spend much on items. I spend money on creating memories by going to rave events and travelling.
Do you have any hobbies?
Yes, travelling, fashion, sports and going to rave parties.
If you had the choice of any superpower, what will it be and why?
Teleporting. KL traffic is really bad. Time is money, if I can spend more time to do things right and do the right things to create more positive output. That would be the superpower I really want. Besides, as a freelance emcee, you will receive requests from all walks of life asking you to emcee in Penang and the next day in Kuantan. That forces you to choose, to focus on only one client/event. If possible, I wish to make both clients’ events a success! Teleport me please.
Which cartoon character best represents you?
Powerpuff girls – Bubbles
What guilty indulgences do you have for food?
I do sports, so not much of guilty indulgences.
Craziest thing you’ve done and not regret?
Travel alone in Lombok, Indonesia.
What’s sexy to you?
Beautiful, energetic and charming women with an independent spirit, who is capable of holding her own financial support. It is not about how you look but how you make people feel.
Hello! Thank you for having me on board! Well, let’s start off with the basic. My name is L’oreal and yes, that’s my real name given by my parents just in case you are wondering. I am a mass-communication graduate but working in a totally different field which is modeling. I love singing while driving and am an adrenaline junkie! Oh, did I mention that I am from Kuala Lumpur?
How was the experience like participating in Miss World Malaysia 2013 and coming in first runner up?
Oh my, the experience is inexpressible! During my days for Miss World Malaysia 2013, I met new friends, had to face different challenges everyday which helped me grow as a person. Staying with 20 girls under one roof, to be honest, I thought it will not be easy, I was in fact expecting cat fights (Laughs) but it never happened and some of us actually became really close even after the pageant.
The First Runner-Up of Miss World Malaysia came in at a surprise. When they finally announced the top 2, I was in a state of shock and I remembered saying it to myself , “Oh my god, this is for real?” (Laughs). Well, even after being crowned, I still work very closely with the franchisee owner of Miss World Malaysia as an official catwalk instructor/choreographer.
Have you always wanted to be a model when you were growing up as a child?
No, I’ve never thought of being a model when I was younger because I used to be really chubby. But hey, I took up a bet and a chance at it when I was 20 and I’ve never looked back since.
What do you enjoy most about being a model?
It’s always different, challenging and never boring.
What fashion accessories do you splurge on and save on?
The only fashion accessories I splurge on are my sneakers, I really do love them, especially my Nikes. I know it’s not very girly-like, but I just love the way they look. I may have a sneaker fetish, I can’t stop collecting them.
Save on? I’ll let you know again (laughs).
Which song will you say best describes you?
It really depends on how I am feeling because I like connecting my emotions with music. For now, my current favorite song “Gooey” by Glass Animals.
Do you believe in destiny, fate or free will?
I’ve always believed that the greatest gift in life is free will. The ability to make decisions and carve out your own path. Life is short, so make every moment yours to decide.
If you had the chance to play a cartoon character, who will it be?
I would love to play Bubbles from Power Puff Girls. Simply because I think my character is more like Buttercup which is more tomboy-ish. So I would like try something totally opposite and I think Bubbles is perfect because she’s a girly-girl.
It’s a great pleasure to feature you on SimplySxy, L’oreal. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”?
I define sexy as a state of mind, as long as you are comfortable and confident in your own skin, that’s SEXY.
