Hi Hex, it’s a great pleasure to interview you on SimplySxy. Can you share a little about yourself and where you’re from to our readers?

Thanks for having me! I’m a full time model and performer, based out of Austin Texas and travel worldwide.

How did your interest in modeling begin?

I actually never thought of modeling as a career for me. I started as a performer and while doing promo shots for a group I worked with, the photographer liked my look and started shooting with me. It was definitely a challenge, and I love a challenge so kept with it!

Was going into fetish, erotic and nude modeling an exciting experience for you?

I think each genre I do has a different feel and excitement behind it, each one is a different experience, even down to each shoot. Its’ always something new and I love it.

We like seeing all the photos on your website which are shot very artistically. Do you have an idea of the style and pose you want going into a shoot or do you leave it to the photographer to decide?

Before a shoot, I’m usually told the style/idea/theme so I can be prepared. And as far as poses, I tend to try to fit the photographers vision with what I’m doing as much as I can. Usually that seems to work well haha.

You have a lot of amazing tattoos! Is there an interesting story you can share behind one of them?

Thank you! As for tattoos, haha there’s a story behind every single one. The one on my hand for example, the group of friends I lived with back then all had “hold me <3” tattooed on their palms. I was the odd one out without it, so one day I announced I finally got it down then came home with “don’t touch me” on mine haha. It fits though!

What is the naughtiest thing you have ever done?

Well if I told you that, I might accidentally give away the location of the bodies, so I’ll have to smile mysteriously and move on to the next question haha.

I’m currently 22 this year and I am working in a full time alcohol trade while still working events on a freelance basis. I’ve completed a bachelor degree in Tourism Events and Public Relations.

Do you have any hobbies?

What is your idea of a romantic getaway?

Being in a cosy room with my loved one and enjoying a night of movie marathon.

Hey, thanks for having me. Well, I was born 30 years ago in a little town called Snina in Eastern Slovakia just a few kilometres from the border with Ukraine. Since I was a girl, my biggest dream was to travel the world so I started to study English and Spanish philology in Czech Republic to be able to understand others abroad. In the meantime I did some modeling work and then spent 2 years as a flight attendant in Scotland and Italy. It was then in September 2010 when I suffered from insomnia and decided to do something positive with all the time I had at nights so I started a travel blog Crazy Sexy Fun Traveler. I have been traveling ever since and trying to focus on healthy lifestyle, yoga and destinations where you can do both adventure and spa.

What are some of your personal highlights so far?

Snorkeling with whale sharks and sea lions, visiting around 20 pyramids in Mexico and Egypt, hugging with the actors Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley from the Vampire Diaries, hiking the Andes for 3 months and most of all having enough courage to travel the world and learn yoga.

Are there any advice you can give to travellers when visiting a foreign city for the first time?

Try to fit in the culture following the habits they have. Standing out too much in some countries is not recommended, e.g. wear long loose clothes instead of showing off too much. Believe in good, believe in yourself and believe in other people. Realize there will always be plans that will ot work out. That’s life and it’s supposed to teach you something, so find the lesson in there and move on to the next adventure.

Which is your favourite season?

You mean like summer or winter? Definitely summer! I am allergic to cold, do not like rain nor wind at all and enjoy some snow only for a few days at Christmas. I wish the rest of the year was just pure summer with around 27 Celsius degrees and always sunny. That’s why I escape European winter as much as I can and you can find me in a tropical destination when others back home are freezing their butts off 😀

How will you describe your fashion style?

Comfortable leisure clothes. I love bikini, dresses, mini skirts (most skirts are mini when I put them on as I’m 180 cm tall), leggins and loose pants. Sunglasses are a must. I don’t like shoes nor handbags, so the best is barefoot with a camera bag only. I don’t like to follow the new fashion styles when everyone dresses in the same way.

What has been the craziest thing you have done in your life?

Wow, that is a tough one! Maybe it was jumping out of a plane, or all the photos I took standing at the edge of the mountains or walking on top of a glacier? If I had to pick just one, then it would be the decision to quit my cabin crew job and leave on a long trip. No one else believed I could make living out of a travel blog and traveling itself. No one but me. So the craziest thing I’ve ever done was to go against everyone and show them yes, I can and I will be successful following my dream of traveling the world.

One of the things we love most about Crazy Sexy Fun Traveler are the amazing pictures of food! You’re Vegan but is there any other food you don’t take or are you game to try every exotic taste available?

I’m not 100% vegan because sometimes I ”cheat” with chocolate or chocolate desserts, rarely with some meals containing cheese. But definitely no meat nor fish. Really trying to be vegan, and mostly raw vegan as much as possible. I just don’t like the taste of olives, even though olive oil is the best! My vegan diet makes it a bit hard on the road as I really do not try local specialties. However, if it comes to any fruit, vegetables or seeds, I am more than happy to try them.

Which cities haven’t you traveled to and are on your must-visit list next?

I am not really a city person so for me it’s more about the nature or smaller towns. If I had to pick countries, then I’d say Peru, Indonesia, Antarctica, Turkey, Tanzania, South Africa and of course Australia and New Zealand.

As a certified Fitness Health Coach, do you try and include your personal fitness regime into your travels?

Oh yes, trying to practice yoga every day at least for 20 minutes, usually 1 or 2 hours; then walk 10,000 steps per day and move as much as possible. I stretch and swim always when possible. I eat mostly fruit for breakfast and lunch and then veggies for dinner, never drink with my meals but drink plenty of water in between meals. Plus, a lot of fresh coconuts when I’m traveling to tropical destinations, they are my absolutely favorite ones!

It’s a pleasure interviewing you Alexandra. One last question, how do you define “sexy”?

The pleasure is all mine 🙂 I think that when a person feels sexy, the magical energy around can be felt by others, too. To me, being natural and smile a lot is sexy. Just highlight what you got, do you agree?

The audience goes absolutely wild and crazy at every event of yours. How do you get ready for each party before whipping the crowd into a frenzy?

When I just started this job, I would prepare and arrange my set of songs in advance so that I wouldn’t go wrong. However, I realised I was making a big mistake. Different place / crowds have different tastes in music and arranging the set of songs in advance did not show good results in each place. From my experience, I realised that it is better to play the songs depending on the flow. This is how I assure the crowd will enjoy the night. After all, I love to share the music genre that I love and I enjoy sharing the new mash up/mix.

Do you have any upcoming events where we can look forward to seeing you?

I have been reducing my gigs as I just started my own startup. I am trying to balance my work life and passion. If I can be hands on my startup soon, I will be going to China for a DJ performance in November.

Which DJ’s do you take inspiration from?

Not to mention Armin and Dash Berlin, both are my favorite! DJ Inquisitive from Singapore is also one of my inspiration. He’s one with creativity and a talent in music.

I’m a 5’1 ball of fun and I’m from Vancouver, BC. Most of my relatives reside in LA though – I love it there, and that’s where my heart is! I just turned 24 and I currently work in the medical field. I’m planning to pursue medical sonography or pediatric nursing in the near future. I want to work with kids ’cause I’m a kid myself!

How will you describe your personal fashion style?

My style is so diverse. I’ll rock anything and everything. You could spot me in Louboutins or Huaraches. Regardless – clean, classy and timeless are my favorite looks by far.

Which items are a must have in your bag whenever you are out?

Credit card, ID, cash, powder, lipstick and keys!

You have many fabulous photos of food posts on your instagram. What is your secret to having that amazing body even with all these delicious pleasures?

To put it simply – moderation. I LOVE food, but I’m also active and try to gym whenever I can. Having a gym partner to push you out of your comfort zone helps and switching it up by doing activities that you enjoy.

Please share with us 3 fun facts about yourself!

1. I’m a pretty introverted individual and tend to have grandma-like characteristics. With that being said, I’m an avid reader, LOVE baking and adore tea! My extroverted side comes out to play when I travel.. My one goal is to travel the world.

2. I’ve never ever had cosmetic surgery. Haha, I’ve been asked this so many times or people just assume things, so I thought I’d throw it out there. Ladies and gents – I get it from my momma. ; )

3. I’m a mix of Filipino, Japanese and Spanish. I have a couple tattoos in Japanese script – I love ink!!

Do you feel more comfortable in a bikini or lingerie?

I feel more comfortable in lingerie.. Because it’s only exposed to that one person you’re getting intimate with.

What can a guy do to catch your attention?

Buy me food? Just kidding! Sort of. In all seriousness, someone who can make me laugh or smile until it hurts – that catches my attention the most! To keep my attention, genuine kindness and persistence are a must.

My definition of sexy is someone who exudes confidence while staying true to themselves. Someone that worries more on how they view the world, not how the world views them. I feel like what’s truly sexy is how amazing a person makes you feel based on actions – not of what you see.

Interview with Uyi, gorgeous model from Hong Kong

SimplySxy: Hi there Uyi, thank you for this interview. It is a pleasure to have you on SimplySxy. Please share a little about yourself and where you’re from.

Uyi: Hi! Thanks for the invitation and I’m glad to have an interview on SimplySxy! I am Uyi from Hong Kong and a student studying Fashion Marketing at Polytechnic University. Modelling is my part-time job and doing outdoor activities is my hobby !

SimplySxy: Share with our readers about your secret to that gorgeous skin. What’s your daily beauty regime like?

Uyi: Haha … Thank you. Actually I had started my daily skincare process since I was a secondary student! My mum inspired me a lot as she told me that girls should start to have a good skincare routine earlier so that you can keep look like younger when you are 35. Washing the face only with pure water and then applying some toner and day cream is my daily morning skincare routine. At night, the one thing I must do first is to remove my makeup once i back home, and have the remaining skincare process. A tip that I use to do is apply the facial mask during bath time, cause the hot air can improve its effectiveness!

SimplySxy: Apart from modeling, you are also actively involved in beauty pageants, and wedding and makeup demos. How do you balance the different roles while maintaining a career in this field?

Uyi: It’s quite hard to balance the different roles and I’m still working on it ! As I am still a student, studying is my first choice rather than modelling.

SimplySxy: You’ve done a number of really great photoshoots, which are your personal favorites?

Uyi: I had worked with a photographer called Frank Freeman and my favourite work pieces are under his camera! Let’s check out his website on Instagram – theeveningblue. Under his camera, the blue of sky is amazing!

SimplySxy: Tell us something about yourself that might surprise people?

Uyi: I must say that I am a boyish girl that people might not believe me. I do love car game and some bloody game or animation! Playing GTA and CSO, Fast and Furious is my favourite movie! I will go to the video game centre alone sometimes and it’s quite funny to see the men and the boys there were shocked by a girl playing “initial D” ( a famous video car game ) !

SimplySxy: Are there any designers that you really like to wear? How would you describe your style?

Uyi: I would describe my style as laid-back. I don’t really like the mix and match and I’m too lazy to dress up in an elegant outfit. T shirt and the shorts are my all time favourites ! Also with the flip-flop 🙂

SimplySxy: What’s your dream modeling gig?

Uyi: Must be Victoria Secret catwalk show! It’s amazing and it’s my dream modelling gig! Of course I know it is quite impossible for me haha!

SimplySxy: Thank you for your time Uyi. One last question before we sign off, how do you define “sexy”?

Uyi: To define sexy, I would say it’s your self-confidence inside your soul. With this, you can show your temperament of sexy with your every action and speak.
