Hentai vs Porn – Which Do You Like More?
I have liked anime almost my whole life. Hentai was a sort of gateway for me into sexuality. It started when a friend showed me some hentai games and then I started watching hentai on my own. So I watched hentai long before I even thought about watching traditional porn. I probably didn’t even look at traditional porn until college. Hentai seemed like more fun to me. The stories are more interesting, you can do more, the outfits are prettier, and the girls are hotter!
What Is Hentai
Hentai is basically just Japanese made animated porn. So mostly, it is of course in Japanese. Since I speak a little Japanese I don’t care very much for subtitles and usually turn them off if I can. I think hentai is popular for the same reason anime is popular. There is just something about anime girls that is appealing to people like me. The sounds they make, the things they say, and the way they look is so different from traditional porn. And although hentai is censored because of Japanese censorship laws, the things people do in hentai has no limits. There are more fantasies played out in hentai than I can even list – most of which can’t easily be done with traditional porn.
How Real Is Hentai
It depends on the hentai, really. Hentai can be either completely out there or based in the real world. I’ve seen hentai about girls on trains, in classrooms, or in their own bedrooms. I’ve also seen hentai where warrior girls are kidnapped by tentacled aliens. The great thing about anime is it has the ability to make even porn scenes that seem mundane become more than they could be in normal porn. You can achieve impossible angles, sounds, and inner dialogue. You can’t do that in normal porn without it seeming cheesy or off. But elements like that are perfectly normal in hentai.
Difference Between Hentai & Porn
I can’t say that I know for sure. Most people I know that are open about watching porn sway more towards hentai. So I don’t have very much experience with lovers of traditional porn. I’d say that hentai lovers are the same as anime lovers. Not everyone is in love with anime, so naturally anyone that isn’t would prefer normal porn. In fact, people who prefer traditional porn may even find hentai weird – but I think those are the same people that find anime weird. You have to be open-minded to like hentai. You have to be alright with absurdly large breasts and even more absurd plots.
Popular Hentai Genres
Oddly enough, I think the most popular hentai genre is the rape fantasies. I have no idea why. But you can’t visit a hentai site without being overwhelmed by hentai about that. Another popular genre is school girls and virginity. There is a fixation on school girls because they are innocent and easy to take advantage of – especially in Japanese culture. In Japan, even holding hands is a slightly inappropriate public display of affection. So there is something extremely erotic in Japan about a school girl having her virginity taken, either by a classmate or an older man. Other fantasies I see a lot in hentai are teachers or other people with authority and way, way too much incest. Like I said, hentai is weird and you have to be open-minded to get into it. I am definitely not saying some of the hentai topics are okay. I usually steer away from things like incest, but it is hard to avoid it.
