    What is your fashion style like?

    Well…my dominant style is chic. However, I wouldn’t say it’s always that way. I love to try new outfits and styles.

    Are there any fashion brands in particular that you adore?

    Yes, so many actually. But if I really have to choose I would say Louis Vuitton because the new Spring/Summer 2018 collection is definitely my favourite at this moment.

    Which accessories are a must in your wardrobe?

    Watches, bracelets and bags! Can’t leave the house without at least two of them.

    How much of a party animal are you?

    Not much. I tend to become one when I am already out. So, let’s say if my friends invited me for a party I would probably suggest something else but if I end up going I won’t be coming back any time soon.

    Would you rather be able to fly or breathe underwater?

    I would rather fly.  I am a little scared of the ocean and what fun would be to just breathe under a swimming pool.

    Where is your dream holiday destination?

    Cancun, Mexico. It’s just beautiful there. The beaches, the weather, food….

    Is there something you don’t get about guys?

    When girls say “I’m fine” and the guy believes it. Clearly the girl is not fine! How haven’t they figured this yet?

    What hobbies do you have?

    I love dancing especially Zumba and Sexy Jazz. I also love discovering new choreographies through YouTube.

    How do you usually like to spend your weekends?

    As a single mom, my weekends are usually well spent with my son. But I also like to hang out with some friends at a live band cafe/bar enjoying a glass of red wine. It’s just so relaxing! We all need a little down time, right?

    Do you have a preferred side to taking selfies?

    Yes, definitely my left side because I have a dimple on my left side!

    On a scale of 1-10, how much of a foodie are you?

    I would say….6? I wouldn’t consider myself a foodie but I would search for healthy food whenever I could.

    Is there any superstition you believe in?

    I’ve been told NEVER to say, “I will never…” and it happened to me so many times where I said “I will never…..” but then I ended up getting it or doing it. I remembered saying that, “I would never date a guy who’s younger than me” but here I am now, dating this guy who is 2 years younger than me, which by the way he makes me happy and I wouldn’t want it any other way. 🙂

    If you could travel to any part of the world for an experience, where will it be?

    I’ve traveled to many places but I’ve always wanted to go to the Maldives with my loved one. It just seems like a very romantic and peaceful place!

    What is the funniest or lamest attempt a guy has tried to know you?

    There was a really aggressive guy who kept telling me how good he is in bed and if I don’t see him, I’m really going to miss out all the fun. I blocked him immediately after that. Thanks, but no thanks. LOL! I think it was really disturbing but also funny at the same time!

    Hi there! Let’s start with what I do, I’m a Marketing strategist specializing on branding, a freelance model and an artist Manager for classical singers here in the Philippines. But the best part is, I’m a fashion design student from Manila.yes, I’m a working student.  I have my own line of beach wedding gowns for the non-traditional brides which I’ll be expanding to local beach cover-ups made from abaca fabric. I was born and raised in the beautiful island of Palawan but moved to the city in time for college. And oh! I’m only 23 years old!

    What is your proudest achievement so far?

    Probably having my own line and branching out. The ocean has always been a part of me so it’s a dream come true to get inspiration from the sea and actualizing it.. waking up every morning going to school, getting crazy stress about school workloads and going home stressing about my personal workloads I consider an achievement as well.

    Which is the best compliment you have received?

    That I have a big heart that’s willing to help others anywhere, anytime

    Is modeling on camera a lot harder than it looks?

    Hmm.  If you’re comfortable with the people you’re working with then it wouldn’t be as hard. Just play good music from your own playlist and have fun! I have a bad habit of checking every layout so I know what to change and make the photos come out better.

    Are you more of a morning person or night owl?

    I’m both! I love the sun. I’m obsessed with morning coffee and sunrise but my mind works best at midnight. I usually finish my workloads when it’s night time.

    Do you have a sweet tooth?

    Who doesn’t? Stopping myself from eating too much sweets is probably the hardest thing to do for me haha!

    If you could have a superpower, what will it be?

    Teleportation! I would love to see the world through my own eyes. <3

    Funniest or lamest attempt a guy has tried to know you?

    There was this one time, I was out with my girls and then this guy came up to me and said, “Hey! it’s you! You stole my crackers when we were in pre-school! Don’t you remember? Wait, What’s your name again? That was so long ago!”

    Just to start a conversation and I’ve never met him in my life! It was so funny we ended up being good friends until today.

    I’m Nuramalina or Lee. If you wonder where I got that Lee nick, I got it when I was in high school. I’m working as a flight attendant and freelance model. I’m 26 years old, sobs. I like photography, fashion and art. To wrap them up, my career doesn’t fit my interests. But I’ve decided to put it this way, guess I’ll become more professional when my career and interests are separated in a good way.

    What is your secret to looking so fabulous?

    My secret on looking fabulous, personally, I think appearance overshadows everything. If you pick a nice wardrobe, it will shine throughout you. So choosing a perfect go-to outfit is definitely a must.

    Which is the best compliment you have received?

    Since I’m working as a stewardess, the best compliment I ever received was the smile from the passengers during disembarkation. That means they are happy with our services. It felt even better when they said “Thank you” or waive at you while saying “Bye”. It makes me happy!.

    Are you more of a night owl or early bird?

    I would say that I am a night owl. My day starts at 3pm (during off day only). Because my job requires me to wake up early (based on my roster), or sometimes, I didn’t get any sleep before going to work because I had to wake up around 1-2am just to get ready. Been sacrificing my sleep a lot. So I prefer to stay at home in the morning to ensure that I get enough rest and only go out after 3pm.

    What is your dream super power to have?

    My dream superpower is Jumper. So I can transport to any location in no time. Or even run away from problems if they occurred. Haha. Wish it can burn some calories too!

    If you could change one thing about the world, what will it be?

    If I could change on thing in the world, it will be the BRAIN. Brain is where everything is gathered. Mentality is the key. The problem in our world isn’t money. But the brain. Who seeks for more powers, more money and etc. I hope I can plant a good seed in their brain so they can grow and do good to others. So they can fix their mindset and not setting up any awful standards to differentiate people. Or even use money as power to control people and the world.

    What flavor would you say best describes you?

    What flavour I am? COFFEE! Because caffeine supplies energy to the body. And I wanna do the same thing to myself. And to others by delivering good energy to them. Keeping them awake. Possibly makes them addicted . Coffee gives you good vibes and those who are a coffee lover will go grumpy when they don’t get a sip of coffee in the morning. That’s how I wanna become. They need me to start their day 🙂

    Funniest or lamest attempt a guy has tried to know you?

    Funniest or lamest attempt was when they were trying to show off what they have. Or even bragging about their careers, money, family and etc. Sometimes the story about how many girls that tried to date them. Honestly I never feel impressed over that things. Because I value myself as an independent lady and I wouldn’t care about those stuffs as long as the guy doesn’t give me troubles. I rather go for funny guys who are decent and know how to make decisions in life. I respect those guys who have this maturity level.

    I always think that ‘sexy’ is a subjective matter. You may define sexy in every way. I don’t know what exactly is “sexy” in my own definition but to me, you don’t define sexy by looking at body figures. It is actually how you bring yourself when you meet people around you. However, always remember that first impressions don’t really matter. You can always do better. And, I’ve quoted this in my Twitter. “I rather have no figure than having men looking at me sensually.”

    A guy thought I was Russian so he texted me a Russian word to impress me. He texted “другой”. This means “other” in Russia. When I texted him back in Russian, he Google translated and was confused with the word he sent in Russian.

    It is most interesting when there is exposure to a lot of different roles to shoot. You can play a teacher today, or an athlete the next, followed by an office lady, which you can’t do in other professions.

    Have you experienced a funny or embarrassing moment before?

    I remembered when I was volunteering in a school, and while teaching halfway, there was a commotion among the students, they began to whisper to each other and started laughing. I told them to stop and a student suddenly came up to me told me that my zipper was down. I ran to the bathroom and found that it was broken and couldn’t be fixed. So I wore a coat and went back to class and pretended that nothing happened. It was really embarrassing…

    我很記得有一次, 我去某一間學校去當義工, 教小朋友, 教到一半, 他們突然吵了起來, 低聲說,大聲笑的, 我就叫他們不要吵, 突然有一個女生走出來, 在我耳邊說, 老師你沒有拉褲鏈, 我立刻跑去洗手間, 發覺我的拉鍊壞了, 怎麼拉也拉不上, 最後只好用外套蓋住, 回去時, 還若無其事的, 繼續上課, 還真丟臉啊….

    What turns you off on a date?

    I have had dates who talked about themselves, how tough it was and I would sit quietly, nod my head and wishing to go home as soon as possible. I feel that confidence is not a bad thing but too much feels like arrogance.

    Hi! It’s great to be featured! I’m originally from New York City, but I’ve been living in Tampa for the past 6 years. I moved to Tampa for college, and I’ve just sort of stuck around, for now. When I’m not working on cosplay, I’m either at my boring office job, playing video games or reading. Most recently, I’ve been getting back into playing Kingdom Hearts, but I’m trying to play all of the games in order. I’m also really into  loose leaf tea lately!

    How did your interest in cosplaying start?

    I had admired cosplayers for years, but my confidence wasn’t very high. It was a bit of an impulsive decision that made me actually start. I was a on a website that sold Spider-Man patterned lycra suits, and really just said, “why not?” After that, I posted my first photo to my personal Instagram and that was it!

    I recognized how much more there was to cosplay, like foam smithing and sculpting, as well. I actually changed my major in college from art to a more general study, because I had been cautioned so much about job prospects with an art degree. I’m disappointed that I didn’t follow my initial intuition, but cosplay gives me a great opportunity to work with my creative skills.

    What is your most memorable cosplay experience?

    My time at San Diego Comic Con was definitely fantastic. I made a point to wear a different cosplay for each of the 4 days I had a pass for. Wearing so many different costumes really let me interact with so many different people from so many different fandoms. At the end of the day, I’m at conventions for the same reason as everyone else; to meet people with shared interests.

    Which is the best compliment you have received?

    Someone at the Anovos booth, the company who makes the official Star Trek uniforms for the movies, said I looked like Nicole Nichols. Day made!

    Is there something in life you can’t get enough of?

    Travel, for sure. I love traveling and seeing new places, but I can only travel so much with my day job. If I could drop everything and go on a worldwide adventure tomorrow, I definitely would.

    How long would you survive a zombie apocalypse?

    Not long at all! If I’m being honest with myself I would probably try to hide out in a bunker for as long as I could. The only athletic ability I have under my belt is yoga, so unless I can convince a zombie to see who can touch their toes the longest, I’m doomed!

    Would you rather have the ability to fly or breathe underwater?

    I would fly! I hate driving, so flying would be perfect for me!

    What is the lamest attempt a guy has tried to know you?

    Spamming my inbox. I try to respond to everyone on my page, but one person recently sent me a new message every hour or so, even late into the night. I can guarantee that I’m not going to feel anything but annoyed if I’m being asked the same question every hour for several weeks straight…

    When did your interest in modeling start?

    I guess I’ve always been intrigued by fashion. America’s Next Top Model has been a large source of inspiration when I was little.

    Which is your most memorable photoshoot so far?

    One time while on a location shoot in the bayou, we saw four giant spiders above us each at least 6 inches long, an alligator, and a couple snakes. I absolutely love the outdoors but the spiders were so close to my head and I was so scared they were going to drop on top of me during a shot!

    How is a photoshoot like and what does it involve?

    There are so many elements to a photoshoot, and it involves a lot more time and effort than just being at the location and taking photos. There are so many people: the photographer, the model, the makeup artist, the hairstylist, the wardrobe specialist, the location scout, sometimes assistants, sometimes editors, etc. It’s amazing really!

    What misconceptions about modeling still exists now?

    The modeling world is very peculiar. I wonder if I’ll ever fully understand it. In a way, I think that’s one of the biggest misconceptions, that anything about this is ‘simple’.

    If you could meet someone past or present, who will it be?

    If I met someone, I would want it to be devoid of any egos or professions. Just two people meeting each other, sitting down for tea, and maybe discussing local art or music. If this were the case, maybe the Obama family? They seem so real. Or Basquiat, the painter. He seems really nice.

    Which genre of movie do you like most?

    I like comedies or indie films. French film really intrigues me. Lately I’ve been watching a lot of cooking shows? Which, I know aren’t movies, but I absolutely love the cinematography of a couple shows on Netflix. (Chef’s Table)

    I didn’t really know how to answer this question. If you try and type that into Google you find a lot of articles that display pictures of beautiful models or expensive red cars, but is that ‘sexy’? To me, sexy is how someone could feel. I think sexy is a personal emotion, not a description of appearance. Sexy definitely comes from within, and is a choice or feeling or action.

    I think the best compliment I’ve received is not when someone compliments my physical appearance, rather when they acknowledge my independence.

    How do you pamper yourself?

    I pamper myself by travelling in Malaysia and other countries.

    What do you usually do during the weekends?

    I enjoy my weekends by exercising. Not only it makes me feel healthy and fit but it also makes me feel very relaxed after a long day.

    If you could meet anyone past or present, who will it be?

    It would most definitely be my late grandparents. They are truly amazing people.

    Do you believe in any superstition?

    Yes I do. I believe that we have to be clean before going to bed to avoid nightmares when we are asleep.

    What turns you off on a date?

    I honestly can’t stand someone who is a narcissist.

    Hi Noel it is a pleasure to feature you on SimplySxy.  Please share with our readers a little about yourself and where you’re from?

    I was born in raised in Orlando, Florida. I’ve lived everywhere from Tallahassee to Miami, due to my inability to make up my mind about where I wanted to go to school. Growing up in Orlando isn’t as magical as everyone makes it seem. When people think of Orlando, they immediately think of Disney, assuming everything here is just perfect and fun! However, poverty and violence are everywhere here. Growing up anywhere in Florida is crazy. From fights, to suspensions, to driving without a permit and stealing my mom’s car, shit definitely goes down here.

    What is the best compliment you have received?

    The best compliment I ever received was when I was told I had a beautiful mind. I work really hard to educate myself. Through my education, I have experienced tremendous growth. I always think about the person I used to be – the girl who didn’t know much and didn’t care about much either. After attending 5 different college/Universities over the past 6 years, I have picked up so much information, as well as experience.

    It feels good to know that others (who know me) can also recognize that growth and how it contributes to the better woman I am today. Those things are important to me. My mental growth ultimately contributes more to this planet than my looks, not to mention I work harder for it. I’m constantly trying to learn something new. I’ve been called pretty my entire life, something I already know and understand. Those comments don’t phase me.

    Are there any favorite quotes you like to use in life?

    Two of my favorite quotes are:

    “Love looks not with the eyes but with the mind” – William Shakespeare, A Midsummer Nights’ Dream (I love theatre and poetry)

    Do you have any guilty pleasures when it comes to food?

    Oh man. Guilty pleasures? I LOVE donuts!!!!!!! My favorite are the little fried cake donuts. It’s kind of sad because I eat like crazy (when it comes to sweets) and I should really weigh 300 pounds! HAH! Not all of the time but when I indulge, I indulge! Chocolate is my other favorite. I can get weird with cheese too. I put cheese on everything (chips, veggies, sandwiches, soups, etc.).

    Can you share a story behind one of your tattoos?

    The tattoo on the middle of my chest is a pink rose that I got when a friend of my named Kristen passed away. The stem, near the bottom, is in a K shape. She was my boss at the time. One night we said goodbye to each other after work, and the next day I come into work and they told me she was hit and killed in a car accident. She was 7 months pregnant and the baby died as well. It was a horrible experience. Everyone was crying. No one at work could function so we closed down. As a matter of fact, at her funeral, no one spoke on her behalf. Not even her family or her “friends”.

    It’s something I regret every day of my life. She deserved better than that. She deserved to be spoken well of. But I was too scared to get up in front of everyone and speak. The tattoo reminds me to have strength and courage, even in the toughest times, even when you are being challenged to the point where you no longer want to continue…or to do something that forces you to step outside your comfort zone. I do it for myself and I do it for her.

    Are you more of a morning person or night owl?

    Definitely a night owl. I’ve been bartending and serving since I was 16 so I’m used to the late-night hours. I like to wake up on my own time. As I get older, I find it harder and harder to get up early. And if I do get up early, I can’t function after 10 PM. I require a lot of sleep. I mean, between three internships, being a full-time student at UCF, working 25 hours a week at the restaurant, AND working out, I need a lot of sleep. I only love my bed and my momma, I’m sorry :p

    If you could have a super power, what will it be?

    If I had a super power, I would choose to change people’s minds. Essentially, I would like to eradicate homophobia, sexism, xenophobia, racism, etc. This would require me to be able to inject research, history,  and other valuable information (we aren’t taught in public school) directly into peoples’ minds, making them “smart”.

    I believe the reason things are the way they are (in the United States at least) is a direct result of poor education. The United States is the most developed country in the world yet we are ranked lowest among educated, developed countries. This is something my superpower would fix, further eliminating the problems that come with poor education.

    Is there something about the opposite sex that you don’t get?

    Unfortunately, I know exactly why men are the way they are. We have raised a society of broken boys where men are not allowed to, and therefore cannot, emotionally communicate. As a 25-year-old woman, I constantly deal with men and the first thing they say is “I don’t want a relationship”. From the jump, men immediately cut themselves off from becoming emotionally attached. Which leads to all of the complex “talking” stages my generation is plagued with.

    Men are too scared to start anything in fear of the emotions that come with it, and they avoid those emotions at all costs because they don’t even know what they are or how to process them. They have been suppressed for so long that it’s difficult or near impossible for men to fully express themselves without social backlash. When dealing with men, I am very straight forward with them to eliminate that confusion, or  I confront their lack of willingness to tap into those emotions. If there is something I don’t get about them, I ask. I make them comfortable enough to be vulnerable with me (in a non-forcing way) so that I don’t get to a point where there is never something “I don’t get”. I don’t play those games.

    Thank you for taking the time to answer our questions Noel. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”? 

    Sexy is embodying and OWNING every single part of you ALL OF THE TIME! Sexy is embracing the stretch marks on my thighs, those freckles on my tummy, the birth mark on my leg, and the random black hair that grows out of my left nipple. SEXY is loving you all of the time and being unapologetic as fuck about who YOU are.
