    I am Lilith, and I work as an art model. It’s my full time job, and I feel very privileged to be able to make a living out of my passion. Life couldn’t be better! I constantly work on becoming better at my work, more efficient in my admin, more organized, to develop my acting skills and my technical skills. I’m really passionate about what I do!

    What do you love most about being a model?

    To create art. And all the different ways! I can use my body to create amazing shapes and forms in a studio on a box, or I can portray different emotions or show different emotional stories, just in my face. How amazing is that?

    Is posing on camera a lot harder than it looks?

    I have no idea how hard it looks, haha. Yes, it’s really hard. By now I know exactly what my body looks like in 2D in every angle. I know what different lenses do to my face, how different light travel over my skin, and when a photographer moves to a different angle, I adjust my pose to work better with the new softer/harder light, and I adjust the pose to work from the new angle as well.

    It’s not standing in front of a camera looking pretty that’s hard, it’s the understanding of how everything works, and using that knowledge together with your posing and expressions to create the very best art.

    Which is a memorable or unforgettable photoshoot experience you have had so far?

    Once I was in a castle in Sweden, sitting in a swimsuit on a horse standing in the middle of the living room. After that I sat with ten dogs around me, trying to look like I owned the situation (I didn’t), and after that I had two snakes playing around my face and head. It was a day with a lot of adrenaline!

    How is a typical day like for you?

    I don’t have typical days. I have admin days, and then I wake up, drink coffee in bed, and then stay in bed all day with my computer until I go to sleep. I have days when I go to airports, when I travel around to different shoots and model, and I have days when I drop everything, hang out with my family or friends, or just enjoy being a tourist in a different place.

    Is there any food or drink you don’t ever take?

    I have celiac so I don’t eat gluten. Besides that, I eat everything. I drink a lot of coffee and wine, those things are life!

    Have you been in an embarrassing situation before that is funny now when looking back?

    Actually, I don’t often feel embarrassed. I try to get away from the feelings of shame we have put on ourselves and others, so I mostly only feel shame or embarrassment when I’ve done something really stupid.

    What is a funny or lame attempt a guy has tried to know you?

    Thank you for taking the time to answer our questions Lilith. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”? 

    Funny you would ask! It’s one of those words I reflect a lot around. I feel when I look around that the way I define that word, and the way the rest of the world defines it, are not in line with each other. I think the world’s definition of “sexy” is pretty close to glamorous and flirty, but I put sexy closer to erotic and powerful. I don’t find it sexy to see someone look a little flirty at you. To see a person really enjoy a sexual tension – that is sexy to me.

    Hey! Thanks for having me. To start off, I was born in Iran and moved to California when I was two. Growing up as an only child I was put into many different after school activities such as soccer, art, dance, etc… This really helped me fill the void of not having a sibling to spend my time with. As I got older, this void tended to fill with other things such as photography, piano, and studying.

    How will you describe your fashion style?

    I would say my fashion style is a mix between 90’s Chanel runway and a minimalistic yet chic look. I usually tend to follow the “less is more” rule when it comes to putting outfits together by picking a focus piece and just building around that.

    Where do you get your fashion inspiration from?

    I find myself trying to emulate many of the 90’s runway looks such as Chanel, Dior, and Versace but other than that, I love a good “clueless” inspired look along with the “off duty model”.

    What is the best compliment you have received?

    I love hearing that I’ve inspired someone to consider different perspectives that they probably would not have questioned before meeting me. I think that in a world where information is so valuable and usually capitalised off of, it is important to question and research everything we are informed of.

    On a scale of 1-10, how much of an adrenaline junkie are you?

    I would say probably a 5/6 because although I do love traveling and adventures I am limited because of my fear of deep waters, heights, and the dark. I’m still trying though.

    If you could learn anything in this world, what will it be?

    Probably physics because it’s such an intense field of study with so much information that I usually get overwhelmed the farther I go down the rabbit hole. I have a deep interest in the cosmos so knowing what makes our world go round would be very satisfying.

    How do you like to spend your free time?

    Almost all my free time is dedicated to educating myself on different subjects I’m interested in, such as religion, history, politics, science, linguistics, art, etc… I can spend months at a time just going in depth learning about the origins of religion, studying how different elements affect our brain, or even breaking down how our economy and banking system works. I can’t help it, I need to be learning something.

    What is a lame pickup line or attempt a guy has tried on you?

    One time I was at a party and there was this guy sitting on a counter and all he did to get my attention was stick his leg out and point at me, insinuating that he wanted me to walk over to him. The lack of effort LOL. I just walked the other way.

    I think the only way to be sexy is to feel sexy. Having that unapologetic confidence is such a powerful thing, it can really change the way you act, think, and talk; you just become your best self:)

    That I light up every room I walk into. And that I’m the best mom ever. I can’t choose between those two!

    I live my life striving to make a positive influence, but also to be a good mom of course!

    Do you have any hobbies or interests?

    Lifting weights, running, and cooking has become an even larger interest since I became vegan. Writing, doing photo shoots is kind of a hobby/job, and am lately working on a podcast! If drinking wine is a hobby, then that too.

    On a scale of 1-10, how much of a foodie are you?

    10,000. I’m obsessed with food and always have been.

    Are you more of a morning person or night owl?

    Night owl all the way. I actually find the only positive thing about the morning is breakfast food 😂

    Do you believe in any superstition?

    Not at all. Even though, somethings are extremely coincidental, I am a very logical person.

    Which flavor best describes you?

    Anything tropical – I’m cheery, exotic, and I’m fun to be around.

    What is a funny or awkward attempt a guy has tried to know you?

    My Snapchat is full of awkward attempts, from both women and men. But If I have to choose one that stands out, it was not even two months ago, someone offered me $500,000 to impregnate me – and not only an attempt to “stay in contact with me”, but do you also have a child with my genes. So. Awk.

    Hey, I am from Taiwan, a beautiful island country. My occupation is a full-time model.

    From the time of my high school, I started to contact the line slowly. I just started auditioning. A lot of brokerage companies have been defrauded and decided to not sign the cooperation. I tried to pick up the case and I also have a lot of things to learn. I also learned more about this line. I am working hard on advertising or drama development and I am looking forward to sharing my next work.

    What is your fashion style like?

    There are countless styles in the world. I think that sometimes attitude will change everything. When you think about it, I am very tempted and believe that I am such a person. The feeling of being in a moment or the photo in the photo can convey this message. Your own moment is a fashion style.

    Which items in your wardrobe are your favorite?

    A women’s wardrobe can see the growth process. The uniform pleated skirt of the Qing Dynasty period is still in my mind. I still want to know when the classmates will come out to wear it.

    What is your beauty regime to looking so beautiful?

    Oh thanks!

    For sure it is not cosmetics and a daily maintenance routine. Staying in a happy mood and having a good meal is my trick. Most importantly is to never get hungry.

    Do you have any hobbies?

    My hobbies are collecting different types of perfumes, because I am very sensitive of good smells. I think there are over 30 perfumes in my cabinet…and still increasing. By the way, I fell in love with vinyl records recently.

    Is there something you’ve always wanted to do or learn but haven’t had the time?

    Yes! I always wanted to learn how to play tennis. I think it is a sweaty and attractive sport but it really takes time to practice.

    Which movie did you watch recently and was it good?

    Recently, watching movies related to the laws of thermodynamics is very wonderful. It can be applied scientifically in any situation, from small to large, from the molecular to the cosmic system. But this movie is applied in love. Although it cannot be established, it still has many identical arguments.

    The film name is called Love Thermodynamics

    What is the funniest or lamest attempt a guy has tried to know you?

    One time I was living at the school girls dormitory. On my 18th birthday day, A lovely boy sent a huge box into my room and contained a gift and himself, because he wanted to know my expression when I opened it.

    Canadian Model & Actress Riley Sawyer

    My name is Riley Sawyer. I am 19 years old and I am a full time model/actress. I’ve been published with different magazines including Maxim Magazine which was very exciting. I am from Toronto Ontario as many know me by the top sunshine girl in the Toronto sun for months in a row last year.  One of my favourite moments in my career so far would be getting the opportunity to model as a bikini model on CBC Dragons Den; for the company “ Cobra Mask”.

    I am a former figure skater but was forced to quit due to several concussions.  Although I was upset about quitting skating I really believe everything happens for a reason and that God had a plan for me because I’ve only been modelling and acting for a bit over a year and the success and opportunities I’ve been given are ones I never could’ve saw myself in if I went back a few years ago.

    I am now signed at a studio so I get to work with artists in music videos and learn more about the music industry and how it works which is so awesome because music is such a big part of my life.

    How will you describe your fashion style?

    When it comes to fashion and my sense of style, I definitely have my own brand that tends to stand out as several people compliment me on my outfits everyday. I keep it classy but sexy at the same time, as I like to show my figure but not cleavage.

    When it comes to fashion, I don’t think there is such thing as over dressing, as you’ll always find me in a pair of heels and in a skirt or a dress no matter where I may be going that day. I feel that fashion is a way to express themselves just like how artists express themselves through their paintings and art, I express myself through fashion.

    How I dress definitely reflects a lot on my personality, “classy but sassy”.

    Are there any accessories or items in your wardrobe you can’t live without?

    I cannot live without my heels.  They complete each outfit. I feel every woman needs a few pairs of heels to complete their wardrobe.

    Do you believe in any superstition?

    Yes I most definitely believe in superstition.  When I used to figure skate, I wouldn’t be able to compete without my cross necklace on as I believed my performance wasn’t comparable without it.

    What hobbies or interests are you into?

    My biggest hobby and passion is my job; acting and modelling.  It’s a form of art and to portray myself in different ways for shoots so different styles are captured. I feel so lucky that I get to express myself with my body instead of  my voice for a career.

    Which is your most memorable travel experience so far?

    I had a really good time this year in Florida.  As I went to see family and do some photo shoots, I also met new friends that made it an awesome time that I am so grateful and fortunate I got to experience it.

    Have you been in an embarrassing situation before that is funny now when looking back?

    Whatever I find funny now, I found funny in the moment of.  I’m one who doesn’t really get embarrassed because I see us all as human beings and we all make mistakes so why feel embarrassed in situations when that’s life. I look at the positive side in every situation as I also have a sense of humour shines through in most situations.

    What turns you off on a date?

    I cannot stand when a man talks badly or puts down another female in front of me.  MAJOR TURN OFF.  Especially if he calls a past ex girlfriend of his ugly.  That’s a major red flag as I learnt it’s a sign of insecurity and I like a confident man who doesn’t need to put others down in order to feel better about himself.  I’d be calling that date off in a heart beat.

    I define sexy as an attitude more so than a shape.  Looks don’t define sexy but how your presence makes others feel being around you is what it’s all about.  If you’re real and true to yourself, not caring what anyone thinks, your pretty fricken sexy.

    I feel being real is so sexy because it’s so rare these days and a real one always stands out to the right people.  Being a genuine human that when you are around others they feel safe and comfortable enough to be themselves is what sexy is ultimately all about.

    Hello! I’m Lydia, from Bristol in the UK. I was a single mum of three up until a couple of years ago when I met my future husband. Together we live the family life, taking mini adventures along with my dog. Our adult life doesn’t consist of the usual drink social but instead we enjoy photoshoots. I’m a very creative person. Always making things, sewing, woodwork, painting etc.

    How much has modeling been a part of your life?

    Well I started modelling about 8 years ago when I split from a bad relationship. Needing a confidence boost I decided to give it a go. It went so well and I enjoyed it so much I decided to put more time into it. I had a bad experience with a photographer after about a year of modelling so took a long break. I only started picking it back up a couple of years back. It’s a good social part of my life meeting new people and getting creative, to the point that standard days out get my mind wondering if this location could work for something interesting.

    Was there a possibility that you might have something else if you didn’t go into modeling?

    I am also a cleaner. Not as glamorous as saying model, no. But hard work has to pay the bills. I do all sorts really, upcycling furniture to sell too. Most of my time and effort goes into raising my children, modelling is just a fun bonus I get to do.

    What do you love most about modeling?

    It has to be seeing what has been accomplished. Looking at the end result that was created between the photographer and I. Looking at yourself in a completely different way and feeling body positive.

    Have you ever felt nervous before a photoshoot?

    I always get nervous before a photoshoot. Even if I have worked with the person before.

    Which is the best compliment you have received?

    I get a lot of compliments about my bottom! Which always makes me smile. However the biggest compliment is about being a mum.

    Have you been in an embarrassing situation before that is funny now when looking back?

    Gosh. I’m a really awkward person so most of the time is embarrassing Haha. However the latest situation was in a gorgeous house on a very big and expensive bed with expensive sheets. I had heels on and was trying to get into a sexy position, trying not to drag my heels on the bed I bum shuffled up the bed so much that boobs were all over the place. Luckily the photographer I worked with is lovely and she laughed with me rather than at me.

    What is the funniest or lamest attempt a guy has tried to know you?

    Sliding in the DMs are always the worst.

    Hello! Before I start I want to thanks SimplySxy for having me here. I am 19 years old; a girl who loves to explore new things and live a life full of dreams. I’m from Taiping but currently stay at Penang. I enjoy my life as a Diploma Fashion Design Technology student .

    How did you get started into modeling?

    It started off once I came to Penang. At first, I participated in a competition at Autocity (Party Queen 2018) . Even though I didn’t win any place, but I earned an amazing experience that day. And soon, there was a Sub Beauty’s student and also Clovis MakeUp’s student which were my make up artist wants me to be her bridal model. I decided to give it a try and thank God everything went well. Honestly, I’m so glad to have this opportunity. Furthermore, there’s a few photographers who find me as their model for photoshoot collaborations until today .

    Which is a memorable photoshoot experience you have had so far?

    So far, I think the lingerie photoshoot was the most memorable photoshoot experience for me and I had absolutely zero knowledge on it. I was also told to make a short video of it which I’m so nervous of because it was my first time doing this. Luckily, the photographer was quite nice to me and willing to give me chances to try new things. It was a wonderful experience!

    What is your beauty regime like?

    Well, my beauty regime is quite simple. As a fashion design student, I have to sleep late at night for my assignments, so I mask twice a week and also go for facial every week. Besides that, I try to eat healthy food and go for a gym with my friend during weekends. I am not allowed to simply use any brands of skincare because my face are quite sensitive ; I just use my facial skincare which I bought from my facial .

    Do you have any hobbies or interests?

    Yes I do! I like to dance. I participated in a dance performance with my school’s senior as a team for my school concert last year. Other than dance, I like reading novels during my leisure time and singing *laugh* even though I don’t have a nice voice. I will go for a vacation during my semester break because travelling is one of my interests.

    Is there something you’ve always wanted to do or learn but haven’t had the time?

    Hmm, honestly nothing much but music instruments are always a thing I wanted to learn. I kinda admire people who are good at playing it. I tried to play and asked my friend to teach me but I still can’t get along with it .

    Which flavor best describes you?

    Spicy! *laughs*

    The reason I said is that because I always prefer sexy clothing!

    What is a funny or lame attempt a guy has tried to know you?

    Uhm…based on my experience there was a guy who liked me. He tried to chase me by giving me a giant teddy bear and the point is he wrote a poem and wanted to read it out for me. I found it funny but I didn’t accept it  No offence! We are still friends. *laughs*

    Fashion Model Bella Donna From Kansas City

    I am based out of Kansas City, Missouri but am constantly traveling as (unfortunately) the Midwest does not have quite as many modeling opportunities as the East and West coasts. I haven’t moved though because it is incredibly cheap to live here so it is a great home base, and despite the smaller-minded modeling scene it is fun here.

    I went to an all women’s college and am extremely proud of the kind of woman it made me: empowered, independent but not afraid of help or support, and overall less tolerant of the bullshit of society. I’m a social butterfly when at events or a shoot, but if it is up to me, I prefer to stay at home with my boyfriend and kitties and watch Netflix.

    People who haven’t met me before say I come off as very professional and serious, but once they meet me they quickly change their opinions and say I’m very laid-back and a bit goofy.

    How much has modeling been a part of your life?

    I have been modeling for about seven years now and it is my absolute passion. I got started modeling in college where there was a very large fashion program, so students started asking me to model for their projects and I continued to grow from there! My first out-of-school shoot was between my junior and senior year and just kept climbing from there. I am proud to say I do a little bit of everything when it comes to modeling: high fashion, brand work, portraiture, bridal, boudoir, figure modeling, and art nude.

    I got into art nude modeling to show that nudity is not synonymous with sex. I want to break those stigmas and desensitize people to the human form, most specifically the female nipple, because the human form is beautifully and nothing to be ashamed of.

    Was there a possibility that you might have something else if you didn’t go into modeling?

    I actually do have something else! I got my degree in Fashion Marketing and Merchandising and am currently a Merchandising and Marketing Analyst for a major US company (I will refrain from saying which though). So I work close to 60-70 hour weeks between my job and shoots.

    What do you love most about modeling?

    That’s a tough one because I love so many things about it, but if I had to choose one thing I would probably say the people I get to meet. I love meeting new people and seeing how each person creates and sees things differently. Some of my closest friends started off as just a photographer at a shoot, and overtime became very close friends. Photoshoots can be a very bonding experiences.

    Also, it is fascinating to me, when shooting with multiple photographers at the same time, seeing how each person can take the same pose but create something different.

    Have you ever felt nervous before a photoshoot?

    Off the top of my head, surprisingly no. I love modeling so much that I can’t think of any specific time I was nervous for a shoot. More than anything I get excited and jittery because I want to start. It might still happen one day though!

    Which is the best compliment you have received?

    I have a few that I distinctly remember (all from women actually, men usually have the same boring compliments) but my favorites are these two: “California girls have nothing on you honey,” and “You have Debra Messings nose, and Brooke Shields eyes, smile, and hair.”

    Have you been in an embarrassing situation before that is funny now when looking back?

    This wasn’t necessarily an embarrassing situation for me but it could have been for someone else; I was doing a shoot in an Airbnb and had just a pair of undies on. We were shooting and I looked up and saw six people in the office across the street gathered around the window watching (they weren’t really very close).

    When I saw them I waved and they all started waving back and freaking out and doing funny dances. I made a funny hand gesture back at them and could tell they were laughing and loving it. Then everyone dispersed and went back to work but we all had a really good laugh there for a few minutes.

    What is the funniest or lamest attempt a guy has tried to know you?

    Actually this story is how my now boyfriend ended up being able to ask me out on a date. We had been casually Snapchatting for a couple of weeks and one night I was with my best friend and a bit wine-drunk so I sent him a snap of me in my Calvin Klein undie set. He responded with a pic of himself with his hood pulled up (recreating the Dark Kermit Meme, here is a link if you don’t know what I’m talking about). His picture said “Me: Be grateful for the photo you got. My mind: Ask for another.”

    It was so funny I did end up sending him another snap and from there we chatted a bit more and he eventually asked me on a date, and over two years later here we still are!

    Thank you for taking the time to answer our questions Bella. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”? 

    Sexy is self-confidence. No matter how you look there is ALWAYS going to be some pathetic hater out there trying to tear you down. So to me, sexy is when you feel good about yourself, not when others tell you.
