Model & YouTuber Alessandra Paolinetti

Hey! Thanks for inviting me to do this interview with you guys. My names’ Alessandra Paolinetti and I’m an Instagram Influencer and YouTuber. I’m 18 years old and originally from Manhattan Beach, California, but I now live in Tampa, Florida. I love anything relating to the water, which is why my Instagram is so beach focused. I spend most of my time either on the water, surfing, jet skiing, tubing, and boating, or in the water at a springs, river, pool, or lake. Having these interests and showing them through my Instagram has allowed me to be introduced to so many amazing opportunists from recently shooting a commercial for a local restaurant to modeling. I’m also super interested in social media and just started doing social media consulting.

What inspired you to start making YouTube videos?

All throughout middle school I was really into YouTubers. I had people that I would watch every single day and patiently await them posting a new video. At one point I even had a fandom Instagram haha! I aspired to be them, but was so scared to make a channel until one day one of my favorite YouTubers, Chris Kendall, made a video called “Quitting YouTube” that essentially encouraged me to get the strength to make my first video. While watching it now I get so embarrassed at what I made, I’m so happy that I started my channel.

How much work goes into making one video?

Since I love it, it doesn’t even feel like work! Essentially, I think of a video topic and just film! I never really script my videos. At most I’ll write some bullet points of things I want to make sure I talk about, but other than, that it’s all just whatever’s on my mind about the subject. From there I edit which, definitely takes the longest, but I enjoy and then post!

Which is the best compliment you have received?

I have no idea to be honest hahaha. I like when people tell me I make them happy because I think being happy is the absolute most important thing.

How will you describe your fashion style?

I would say I wear mostly streetstyle/Instagram trendy clothes. Most of what I wear comes from what I see on Instagram posted by models or influencers I follow. I love keeping up with trends, but I also love to have some weird, different pieces that I can throw into a basic outfit.

If you could have a superpower, what will it be?

If I could have any super power I would definitely have the ability to conjure up things because then I could make anything I want into existence. Do I want money? Conjure it up. Do I want a private jet? Now I have it. I feel like it would make life super easy and I could just focus on doing whatever makes me happy.

Which type of music do you love listening to?

I mostly like rap and underground rap music, but there’s a lot of vibey music I listen to as well.

What is the funniest or lamest attempt a guy has tried to know you?

I’ve gotten mostly boring attempts of guys trying to slide into my DM’s. A lot of basic “hey”’s and “you’re hot”’s. Nothing wrong with sliding into a girls’ DM’s that way, but it’s just not interesting (and weird since its really clear have a boyfriend on my Insta)

I think “sexy” is a feeling of confidence. It’s so important to be confident in yourself and who you are and achieving that or even working to try to achieve that is sexy.
