Australian Fashion Content Creator Queen Gabrielle
Thank you so much for having me on SimplySxy. It’s a pleasure to be featured here. My name is Queen Gabrielle, I am a fashion content creator from South Australia. I’m also a student studying international relations and I will be finishing hopefully the end of next year. I have always been passionate about modelling and fashion. Ever since I started my content creation journey, I have had the opportunity to collaborate with various brands and meet lots of different influencers. It’s been a very incredible journey and I’m excited to continue exploring, growing and making my mark in the fashion industry.
What is your fashion style like and where do you draw inspiration from?
My fashion style can be described as classical and minimalistic. I appreciate the timeless elegance that comes with simplicity and understated sophistication. My fashion choices often revolved around clean lines, neutral colour palettes and well-tailored pieces. Less is often more when it comes to fashion. However, there will be moments I do add in pops of colour when I’m feeling a little risky haha.
I draw inspiration from a variety of sources, but three prominent influences on my style are the off-duty model look and influential figures like Kate Middleton, Kate Moss and Jasmine Tookes
Which 3 items are most important in your wardrobe?
3 items? Hmm, I think the black coat I bought from the ICONIC a while back is such a timeless piece that it adds a touch of sophistication to any outfit.
The second would be my Dylan Kain tote, which I can’t live without. It’s not only a stylish accessory but also a practical one that has enough space to carry all my daily essentials and last would be the stockings I got from David Jones. They provide much-needed warmth and comfort while adding a polished touch to my outfits. Whether I’m wearing a skirt, dress or even under pants for extra insulation, I am obsessed, and I cannot go anywhere without them!
On a scale of 1-10, how much of a risk taker are you?
Oh, um, haha, I would rate myself a five on the risk-taking scale. I tend to approach decisions and actions with a careful and calculated mindset, weighing the pros and cons before making choices. I believe it’s essential to make informed decisions, especially regarding significant life choices of investments.
However, there are times when I do take risks. Sometimes, some opportunities require a leap of faith, and I’m trying to be less scared of stepping outside of my comfort zone when I believe the potential rewards outweigh the risks involved.
While I generally err on the side of caution, I also value the excitement and learning that comes with taking well-considered risks. I personally think it’s about finding the right balance between calculated decision-making and embracing opportunities for growth and adventure.
Is there any food or drink you don’t take?
For the most part, when it comes to food, I must admit that I am quite a picky eater, which means there are several foods I tend to avoid. However, I’m actively working on expanding my palate and becoming more open to trying new things. It’s essential to have a well-rounded diet and embrace a variety of flavours and cuisines.
As for drinks, I don’t consume alcohol and limit my intake on fizzy drinks. Alcohol doesn’t appeal to me, and I try to stay hydrated with non-alcoholic beverages. Similarly, I’m conscious of the health effects of excessive fizzy drinks, so I try to opt for healthier alternatives like water, herbal teas or natural fruit juices.
Which is your most memorable travel or holiday experience so far?
One of my most memorable travel experiences was a trip I took with my family to visit my extended family in Connecticut, United States. It was a trip filled with lots of laughter and adventure. Connecticut is honestly a place I hold dear to me and would love to visit there again soon!
Do you have any favourite quotes or mottos you like to use?
One of my favourite mottos, especially for this year, has been “Rest, Restart, Refocus. But don’t you dare give up on your dreams”
This quote embodies the idea of resilience and determination. Life can throw challenges and obstacles our way, and sometimes, we need to step back, rest and recharge. However, it’s so important to remember that setbacks are just temporary pauses on the journey to our dreams, and I’m always trying to tell myself that, haha.
I really love this motto because it encourages me or anyone really, to restart with renewed energy, focus on our goals and never lose sight of our dreams, no matter how challenging the path may be.
What do you not get about the opposite sex?
Men, in general, confuse me with just everything they do haha but if I had to pick one thing, I think it would be the way men tend to process emotions differently compared to women. It’s interesting to see how men and women can have diverse approaches to emotional expression, which can sometimes lead to misunderstandings or miscommunications.
Thank you for taking the time to answer our questions, Queen. One question before we end: how do you define “sexy”?
You’re Welcome!! The definition of “sexy” can vary from person to person because it’s subjective and personal. However, in a general sense, “Sexy” often refers to something or someone that exudes attractiveness, sensuality and allure. I don’t think it’s about the physical appearance; it can also encompass confidence, charisma and a certain magnetism that draws people in. I believe “sexy” is influenced by individual preference and cultural factors, making it a diverse and fluid concept.
