Fashionista Eilene Nazareno

I am Eilene Nazareno, 28 yrs old. I’m currently studying Fashion Design at Slim’s Fashion School and I’m from Mandaluyong City Philippines.

Where do you love to shop from and what inspires your fashion style?

I’d like to shop at online shops because of the ease of access, as I can shop worldwide. These shops include Shein, Zalora and wicked weasel from Australia where I buy my Bikinis.

My fashion style is influenced by outfits and fashion brands (too many to name) that look super sexy, but is still classy.

Do you have any hobbies or interests?

I’d like to paint and draw, both with physical paints and pencils, as well as on my iPad, I also enjoy dressmaking and hope to have my own fashion line one day.

Which is the best compliment you have received?

The best compliment or compliments that I have ever received is I have had several people tell me that I look beautiful with or without make up and that I have amazing natural beauty.

Would you rather have superhuman speed or control objects with your mind?

I would rather have a superhuman speed to save time because for me, time is gold and should not be wasted.

What 3 fun things do you love to do in your city?

First thing I love to do in my city is to walk my Mini Bull Terrier, Hammer.

Second, strolling around historical areas and parks in the Manila.

Third would be food tripping at the weekend night markets near where I live.

On a scale of 1-10, how much of a foodie are you?

I rate myself an 8. I especially love testing and trying out traditional Philippine foods, but also enjoy trying new dishes from all around the world.

What turns you off on a date?

Bragging turns me off.

Sexy is when you are able to wear just track pants and a simple shirt and still kill it and turn heads.

Model & Image Consultant Sophia Fian

I used to be a make up artist. One time a model was absent from the shooting so the photographer asked me to replace the model to help them. It turned out it was really fun and the photos were lovely. That’s how I started my first shooting and I was only 16.

Do you follow a beauty regime to look so gorgeous?

My regime for beauty is sleeping before 12am. I am a vegetarian because I love animals and wanna save the environment, and of course it makes you healthier.

Where do you get your fashion inspiration from?

My fashion inspiration is my mum. She’s a very fashionable person and her silhouette is great. I love simple things, curves and black and white are my favourite.

Which 3 things do you love doing most in the city you live in?

I love shopping, sauna, and walking in nature.

On a scale of 1-10, how much of a foodie are you?

I’d rate myself 10 out of 10 for being a foodie definitely although I look skinny but I absolutely love to eat and eat a lot! LOL.

If you can learn anything in this world, what will it be?

If I can learn one thing in this world it would be speaking fluent French. Because I think French sounds beautiful and elegant.

What is a funny or lame attempt a guy has tried to know you?

One day a dude in a bar came to me and asked for my number. He said he was single and wanted to be friends but then his girlfriend showed up behind him and he got a steamy slap from her lol.

“Sexy” is the way how you carry yourself, those body movement says a lot about a person also being Intelligent is a new sexy!

Australian Fashion Designer & Entrepreneur Kiara-Bella

Hey! Thank you so much for featuring me, I’m so glad to have been given the opportunity.

I’m Kiara-Bella, a 17 yr old up and coming fashion designer and entrepreneur from Queensland, Australia. I have always dreamed of being a high-end fashion designer and to have my own international label. At age 13 I decided to start showcasing my couture fashion illustrations and feature all my own dress designs on Instagram @kiarabelladesigns. I have been running this page for over 5 years, it received a lot of attention from industry names which was exciting as I was getting through high school.

My final year of school was very difficult for me on many levels, so in September 2017 in the heat of finals, I started my fashion label Kiara-Bella Designs. I have started with feminine day wear such as skirts and matching crop tops in gorgeous fabrics, designed and handmade myself. Although it is early stages, it has received so much support – I have so many ideas for the label and I hope in the future I can incorporate my couture designs. I also hope that I can make a difference with my career in the future by heavily involving it with charity.

Where did your inspiration in fashion come from?

My love for fashion has been something that has always been a part of me since I was very little. Ever since I could hold a pencil I was drawing dresses and creative outfits constantly. My mum has kept dozens of folders full of illustrations from throughout my childhood. I would spend hours in the morning putting together extravagant outfits just for preschool and my passion for clothes and fashion only kept growing from those early days.

I get asked a lot where I get my ideas and inspiration from for my dress designs/ illustrations, but it’s always just something that comes to me as I go. I never know what I’m going to come up with when I sit down to draw, it just unfolds itself. I love so many different styles from chic to bohemian to red carpet and it is such an amazing feeling to see your ideas on paper come to life.

What is the best compliment you have received?

I think the best compliment I have received is being told that I inspire people when they see me going for my goals and chasing what I am passionate about at such a young age. It adds so much value to what I am doing with my life, that I can inspire others and motivate them to go for what their hearts desire regardless of what stage of life they are in. You are never too young or old to chase your dreams.

Which fashion accessories are a must have in your collection?

Handbags are a key accessory in my collection. I always have to make sure I have one that ties my outfit together before heading out. I also love a gorgeous pair of earrings, it makes all the difference.

Is there a food or drink you can’t live without?

Orange juice for sure! I don’t think I could ever get sick of it.

Are you more of a morning person or night owl?

I love waking up early, I get up at 5am to fit in some me-time at the beach or a workout before I start my day on the business. It’s such a great way to get on top of each day with a clear mind.

If you could collaborate with anyone, who will it be?

I would absolutely love to collaborate with Emma Watson. I love everything she stands for regarding ethical fashion and the fashion industry. It would be truly amazing to collaborate my fashion with someone so inspiring and likeminded.

What do you not get about guys?

I don’t get how so many guys look completely different on their social media to real life haha.

I define sexy as nothing but being comfortable and confident in the skin you’re in. A woman who is sure of herself and has a kind heart radiates something powerful and there’s nothing more attractive in my eyes.

Singapore Aspiring Fashion Designer Xue Min

Hi Xue Min, thank you for taking the time to answer our questions. Please share with our readers a little about yourself and where you’re from?

Hi everyone and thank you SimplySxy for the feature. I’m turning 16 this year and from Singapore. I’ve great passion in art and inspire to be a fashion designer or maybe a part-time tattoo artist in future. Did I tell you I love cats a lot? Yes especially Munchkin, they are just so adorable and hope to own one soon.

How did you start modeling?

Omg do I look like one? I’m so honored. Actually I’m not a model but I would love to try to be one. Please, somebody engage me now! I remember I’ve this group of friends who love to do photography and we always venture all over Singapore to do shooting. It was so fun and adventurous. I really missed those days now.

Do you have any hobbies?

I guess it will be playing with my make up? I love to try out all kinds of different products and will be very skeptical of how the cosmetic works for me.

What is your secret to looking so beautiful?

Oh please, I’m just an average looking girl but thank you!

Which is your proudest accomplishment so far?

It will be my artworks. I’ve spent so much time and effort to complete it and I’ve managed to score As for all pieces.

What do you usually do in your free time?

Drawing…. Doing workout…… Watching Videos on YouTube….. Oh my, there are just so many things that I would do.

If you could change anything in this world, what will it be?

If I could really do this, I hope I could stop global warming and build a thicker ozone layer.

How will you describe an ideal date?

An ideal date will be someone who is always there for me when I needed him. Someone who is fun and crazy. Honesty is the most important value.

Uruguayan Model, Actress and Fashion Designer Claudia Rivarelli

Hi Claudia, thank you for taking the time to answer our questions on SimplySxy. Please share with our readers a little about yourself and where you’re from?

Thank you for the opportunity. I was born in a small country in South America called Uruguay. Uruguay is between Argentina and Brazil. I spend a lot of time in Brazil, my favorite country in South America. I’m a bikini, pin-up model, athlete, fashion designer and actress.

How did you get started into modeling?

My interest began as a teenager trying to find a job and when you are that age nobody will hire you, but I found a good opportunity in modeling and I loved the idea of being in magazines. I started as a runway model. Later on I transitioned to bikini and fitness modeling.

What are the common misconceptions people have about models?

Some people think they are stupid and have no brains. This is a misconception. I know some intelligent models who have other careers. There are intelligent people and stupid people in any line of work, as far as that goes.

Which genre of modeling do you enjoy most?

Pin-up or glamour by far. Pin-up is super fun. I like doing styles from 50 years ago.

Do you prefer to be in bikini or lingerie?

Bikini and beach shoots. I love desert islands and tropical weather.

Best compliment you have ever received?

When guys use poetry, or sweet words. I don’t like rude or vulgar men.

What is the worst attempt a guy has ever tried to pick you up?

When they just run off at the mouth “blah blah blah”. “I will buy a yacht for you, just blah blah. I don’t believe in words, I just believe in facts.

Most embarrassing thing that has happened to you that seems funny now?

When I was doing a photoshoot on the beach, some thieves stole my clothes and shoes. I was far from the sand, and the beach was in a desert. When I came back my clothes were gone. I went at the police station in my bikini . Now it is funny but, at the time, I was super angry.

Sexy is everything: look, attitude, way of speaking, etc.

New York based fashion designer Kaitherine Chang

Hi Kaitherine, it’s a great pleasure to feature you on SimplySxy. Please share with our readers a little about yourself and where you’re from?

Thanks for inviting me! I’m from Taiwan and I came to New York to study Fashion Design 4 years ago. Now I’m working as an assistant designer at a New York based womenswear brand. I’m also working on my own brand “ Kaitherine Chang”.

How did you begin modeling?

Actually, I’m not a real model. I’m just a girl who loves art, fashion and photography. I started to take pictures of myself in the clothes I made and designed, and people started to notice me and invited me to be in their photoshoot.

I love to participate in fashion projects, but I never consider myself to be a professional model. I actually want to be more of a fashion icon than just a model. I want to have full control of the styling process and the resulting images.

What are some of the highlights you have experienced so far?

The fact that I’m now in New York and get to be in the fashion industry is the highlight of all my experiences so far. I’ve always wanted to come to NY since I was little.

In NY, I get to meet all kinds of different people, see all kinds of different arts and fashion events. They have really inspired me a lot.

If you had the chance to change something, what will it be?

I’m happy with my life so far. I don’t want to change anything from before, but I’m always looking for a chance to improve in every way.

Name 3 quirky and fun facts about yourself
- I’m very into supernatural stuff, I like to read books and articles about hypnosis, the afterlife, and conscious/subconscious..etc.
- I don’t really own real pants. If you ever see me in pants that will only be disco pants (people consider them as leggings) or ripped jeans.
- I have weird dreams almost everyday.
Is there a secret behind your beauty regime to looking so fabulous?

I guess people usually see me through my pictures. In that case, I’ll have to say the secret are my friends. Lol..I’m crazy when it comes to taking pictures. Thanks to my friends who are so patient in helping me take good pictures! They also give me advice when it comes to fashion, make-up etc. So I guess being surrounded by good people is my secret to looking good.

Have you done anything crazy and not regret it?

When I was in Taiwan, my parents were quite strict because I’m an only child. I would rarely go out clubbing or hang out late at night. Even when I was in college back home, my mom still came to pick me up from school everyday. I used to get home no later than 11 PM.

So the craziest thing I did when I came to NYC was going out almost every night. In this city that never sleeps there are plenty of fun things to do. I think going out every night is crazy, but I made up my mind that I wanted to go out until I got sick of it. It was also the first time I went out by myself without my parents around me.

Now, I’m more calm and chill; not crazy like that anymore. I don’t regret those days though. I got to meet a lot different people, and seen enough craziness. I guess I was afraid of being alone. From this I learned a lot and now I enjoy spending time by myself.

Are you more of a lingerie or bikini girl?

I would say lingerie. I love lingerie! Wearing sexy lingerie under your clothes automatically adds sexiness to a woman’s demeanor. It’s like a naughty little secret between you and yourself.

I also like to wear some lingerie as an outfit or mix and match into my daily outfit. I feel it’s such a waste if I can’t share lingerie fashion with others.

I’m also planning on starting off my brand with a lingerie collection.

It might sound cliche, but I really think confidence is the key to being sexy.

Everyone has a different look and a sense of fashion, but once you find the one that fits you most , it can make you feel confident and good about yourself. That’s when a person is sexy.
