    Model & Blogger Emily Doll

Hi Emily it is a pleasure to feature you on SimplySxy.  Please share with our readers a little about yourself and where you’re from?

Hey there! Thank you so much for inviting me.  My name is Emily, I am 28 years old and I just recently moved to the Houston area from Oklahoma City with my two little boys. I am a freelance model and blogger specializing in Pinup, Rockabilly and vintage styles as well as most anything in the beauty and style world. I am also a body and self love activist.

How will you describe your fashion style?

Oh goodness I don’t even know anymore LOL. For about seven years my style was devoted to the Rockabilly style which can also be considered Pinup style. Everything I wore was retro and pulled from the 40’s and 50’s era. Now, I don’t really embrace any one type of style. I love style and fashion, I always have, so now I just wear what I want and what I like without worrying about how others feel about it. I wear a lot of things now that I never would have when I was younger due to worrying about being judged but after seven years of looking like I stepped out of a different time, I am used to the weird looks if I do choose to wear something that pushes the limits of the public. The only difference now is I don’t care.  My style is me, simply put.

Which beauty products are a must have in your personal collection?

Highlighter is my addiction. I never used it until it really became a thing and now I am obsessed with it. If I had to do a top five I would say face lotion for sure, my Better Than Sex mascara, red lipstick, liquid eye liner and some good ol’ chap stick!

Where do you usually like to party?

I don’t party. I never have partied. I was home schooled my whole life so I never had the high school parties, then I went into my first relationship at 17 and was in it until I was 23 which was a very controlling and unhealthy life style. I wasn’t allowed to ever go out so clubs and parties are something I always missed out on in my early 20’s. Now pushing 30 it isn’t something I even think about. I would rather go to a car show any day than clubbing. It just isn’t my thing.

If you could travel to anywhere in the world for a vacation, where will it be?

Honestly I would do a road trip to all of the most haunted and abandoned places around America. I love visiting places with history and energy and I love photography so I would love to do a road trip and take my time to just explore and relax and enjoy. Amazing photos, exciting moments, really bad truck stop food LOL, oh yea!

    Which flavor best describes you?

Salty! LOL. Most people would say sweet. I like to say I am like a fairy, too small to have more than one emotion at a time, mad, silly, hungry, horny, whatever LOL.

Is there something you don’t get about guys?

I don’t think so. I don’t think there is any one thing I don’t understand about a certain sex. I would say there are things I don’t understand about people. Man or woman isn’t really defining but your heart and soul is pretty defining and that’s what I pay attention to.

What is the funniest or lamest attempt a guy has tried to know you?

I wouldn’t say any attempt was lame. I think it is always flattering that someone thinks I am worth their time. I really don’t get hit on that often though to be honest. It’s always really basic stuff, very polite, a dick pic or two LOL. I think the only memory I have to use here is when I was ten years old and friends with some little boys in our apartments. The oldest one liked me and I had no idea until he sang me a Brian McKnight song and gave me a card. I panicked and blamed my mom as to why I couldn’t be his girlfriend LOL.

Thank you for taking the time to answer our questions Emily. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”?

I think owning your sexuality is what makes you sexy. Embracing that raw carnal part of yourself and not being ashamed of it. I’ve had my sexuality used against me and abused and I have been told my entire life to be ashamed of it. It is part of who you are. Man, woman and everyone in between has that part of themselves and owning it and allowing it to shine is what is sexy.

  • Canadian Lifestye Blogger Elena Harrison

    Canadian Lifestye Blogger Elena Harrison

Hi Elena it is a pleasure to feature you on SimplySxy.  Please share with our readers a little about yourself and where you’re from?

I am a twenty-something year old Home and Fashion Stylist as well as a Lifestyle blogger. I am currently based out of Calgary and Toronto, Canada, and try to travel the world as much as possible, as I have a serious case of wanderlust that needs to be maintained. My professional history is rooted within fashion, interior design and the beauty industry, which resultantly maintains the core focus of my blog.

What inspired you to start Style Concept?

I have always had people come up to me and ask where I bought my clothing/accessories, and asking for hair and make up tips. Once blogging became an established cornerstone within the emergence of social media, it became a natural transition to gravitate towards it as people kept suggesting the platform as an opportunity to share my personal style as my background is well rounded within the creative industries. I officially started blogging a couple of years ago, and it has grown into an outlet for me to work with amazing global brands and meet some really cool people from all over the world. These interactions have allowed for Style Concept to blossom into more of a lifestyle blog, as I love helping people with tips for style and travel.

As a child growing up, was fashion and style already a strong interest for you?

Yes, it has always been a big part of my life. I grew up in the interior design/building industry and would help my mother choose fabrics and selections for projects starting at age 3. I also have an aunt who is a fashion designer, so she has been a mentor to me throughout the years. When I was little I would change my looks around five times per day (including accessories!).

How will you describe a typical day for yourself?

Everyday is different, and that is what I love about it. I am not a 9-5 type, although it is more like 24/7. I don’t know if I ever shut off from work, as I am constantly inspired by the world around me. I usually have over 50 emails a day and several phone calls to attend to. If I am shopping with a client or for a client, I go to my favourite stores/suppliers to put together looks for their home or wardrobe, I also meet with clients at their homes when required. I also shoot for the blog for a couple of hours each day. I am a huge foodie, so I always make time for food and love to check out new restaurants and cafes in between it all. I try to only spend 1-2 hours a day on social media.

What travel tips can you share to every keen traveler?

Don’t be afraid to go outside of your comfort zone with destinations. I like to stay or travel out of the touristy areas to find the best authentic food, boutiques and meet the locals. Take in the culture as much as possible and be open to try new things. Instead of researching cities on common travel sites, I will type in a city/town on Instagram and search for cool art installations/ boutique hotels and restaurants to find unique spots.

If you can time travel, where will you go?

If I could time travel I would go back to the Seventies. I love the art, fashion and music of that decade.

Which was the last movie you watched and was it any good?

The only time I have to watch movies is on airplanes. On my most recent flight I watched Lion, which is based on the book A Long Way Home. I enjoyed the movie mainly for the incredible geographical imaging that was involved as it was filmed in India and Australia.

Lamest or weirdest attempt a guy has hit on you?

I would have to say when a guy at a bar asked me to have a baby with them because his mom was dying of cancer, and he wanted to give her a grand baby before she passed… I think he was serious… :/

Thank you for taking the time to answer our questions Elena. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”?

Sexy means having confidence in yourself.

  • Canadian Blogger Victoria Hui

    Canadian Blogger Victoria Hui

Hi Victoria it is a pleasure to feature you on SimplySxy.  Please share with our readers a little about yourself and where you’re from?

Hi! I’d love to share a little bit about myself! I was originally born and raised in Ottawa but I now currently live and work in Toronto. I’m kind of a workaholic and always on the go – having down time stresses me out more than working too much because I get scared that I’m not being productive with my time.

What inspired you to start The Lust Listt?

I started my blog way back in high school when it was hosted on blogspot.com. It’s come quite a way since. It first operated as a creative outlet for me to talk about beauty – specifically nail art. Looking at my blog now, you’ll find almost no trace of nail art, but I used to be very into it and obsessed with collecting nail polish. Growing up I was always told to focus on school, and as much as I loved to learn new things, I never quite feel satisfied with just being smarter. I wanted to also be more expressive, which is how The Lust Listt started. I started my blog as a way to share my thoughts with the initial impression of ‘who cares if I make a fool of myself, no one is going to read this anyways’, and here it is now!

As a child growing up, was fashion and style already a strong interest for you?

Oh always! I loved clothes, and I loved pairing things together. I was probably the girliest one of all of my cousins in the family.

How will you describe a typical day for yourself?

In one word – long. I’m not even kidding. My day usually begins at around 7 AM, I wake up and spend about 30 minutes in bed scrolling through my various social media platforms catching up on what I missed while I was asleep, and then reply back to any comments or questions. Then I spend another 30 minutes or so catching up and responding to some emails while slowly waking up. By 8 AM I’m fully awake and the first thing that I do when I get out of bed is make a pot of coffee. While waiting for the french press to prep the coffee, I usually go through my whole bathroom routine (brush teeth, wash face, apply makeup) and put on an outfit.

After the coffee is done, I pour one for myself, and another to take to work and then get set on prepping myself a lunch. At this point it’s probably around 8:30, and I’m ready to sit down at my computer to answer any other urgent emails that require immediate responses. I do a bit of work, which involves editing photos, scheduling shoots, writing blog post content, etc before I head out for my 9-5. I usually leave my place by around 10 AM and arrive at work by 10:30.

Then I spend my day working till about 5PM before I meet up with either my boyfriend or a friend to shoot some content.

I don’t usually get home till about 7 PM at night, to which I like to lie down on the couch and unwind to some Netflix for about an hour before I prep dinner. When I’m done eating, it’s around 8:30/9, and then I jump back onto the computer to edit the photos that I just shot that evening. My day typically winds up with me brushing my teeth/washing my face at around 1 AM and getting into bed at 2 AM only to restart the process again in 5 hours.

What beauty tips can you share to every lady?

Hydrate and skincare. I’m a firm believer that the better skin that you have, the less makeup that you have to wear. I’ve always focused on making sure that my skin is hydrated, which includes drinking lots of water and always moisturizing and applying masks at night while I’m asleep.

If you can time travel, where will you go?

This is so hard, and I’d want to time travel forward in time to see what the fashion would look like in the future so that I can stay one step ahead of the curve 😉

Which was the last movie you watched and was it any good?

I love a good horror/suspense/thriller, so I just recently watched the movie, Hidden – it was amazing. Not completely scary but it was directed so well and with an impressive script that I loved every moment of it.

What exciting plans do you have for the rest of 2017?

Travel! I love traveling and can’t wait to hit up Portugal and Morocco in September 🙂

Thank you for taking the time to answer our questions Victoria. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”?

Thank you for having me! Sexy to me means being comfortable in your own skin and not caring what other people think. I have a personal mantra that’s quite cliche (do what you love, and love what you do) that works really well alongside with my other one (do what makes you happy), so as long as you’re happy and you’re loving yourself, you’re sexy! Who cares what other people think?

  • Fashion Blogger & Influencer Helen Chen

Fashion Blogger & Influencer Helen Chen

Hi Helen it is a pleasure to feature you on SimplySxy.  Please share with our readers a little about yourself and where you’re from?

I am born and raised in San Francisco, California. I am currently a fashion blogger/influencer on Instagram. Growing up in a traditional Asian household, my parents wants me to so badly become a nurse or doctor and to live their American dream for them. But my dream is to finish school and achieve my dream as a fashion designer. I want to one day be able to design clothes for both men and women, clothes that will make them feel confident and sexy, but be stylish at the same time. By doing so, I hope to be able to make my parents proud.

What is your fashion style like?

I have two type of styles. On my lazy days, I like to dress more casual. By doing so, I would wear more grungy, streetwear types of clothes, such as band tees, ripped jeans and sneakers. (Ex. Kylie Jenner or Rihanna) On days where I have to dress up, I would generally wear tight dresses, fur coats and heels or long trench coats with bodysuits. (Ex. Kim Kardashian).

Where do you usually enjoy shopping from?

For my more casual outfits, I shop at Pacsun or Urban Outfitters. As for my more dressy outfits, I shop at Macy’s or Bloomingdales.

Which is the strangest fashion disaster you have seen?

None, I believe that everyone has their own unique style. What is strange to you may be normal to others, vice versa. I think it’s really cool when someone dresses different. I think it makes them stand out. It’s better to be different than just like everyone else.

How much of a foodie are you?

I am such a foodie! I would make my friends drive me for hours just to try one food place! People think I am crazy but if I see a cool food place on Instagram or Yelp, I have to try it. You should check out my Yelp account for all the food places I have visited.

If you could learn anything in this world, what will it be?

If I could learn anything in this world, it would be to see things through someone else’s perspective and to know what others are thinking.

Which was the last movie you watched and was it any good?

The last movie I watched was BayWatch. It was really funny but also can be very cringy and cliche at certain parts.

Lamest or weirdest attempt a guy has hit on you?

I don’t have a lamest or weirdest, but I definitely have a scariest. Once in Times Square, New York, some guy kept hitting on me, so I just ignored it and walked away. But he followed me around for blocks.

Thank you for taking the time to answer our questions Helen. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”?

To me, the term “sexy” would mean being confident and strong, not caring or worrying about what others think.

  • Entrepreneur & Blogger Shai Habon From Philippines

Entrepreneur & Blogger Shai Habon From Philippines

Hi Shai, thank you for taking the time to answer our questions.  Please share with our readers a little about yourself and where you’re from?

Hi! I’m Shai from Manila, Philippines! I’m an entrepreneur, blogger, fashion stylist and speaker.

What was  the inspiration behind Shy Shop and why did you choose that name?

It’s actually my name (because I can’t think of anything during the time I put the store up haha). I chose Shy instead of Shai because I thought that has better recall. I’ve always loved selling trinkets way back in college and that’s probably the reason why I pursue the business right after school. Today, we’re selling a lot of novelty stuff and other personal items and we’ve grown the business from a simple online store to several physical branches all around the country.

Were there a lot of challenges you faced when you started Shy Shop?

Yes! Everything starts small and that’s the same case with Shy Shop. Getting customers was a bit hard at first especially that it’s based online. It’s so difficult to persuade the buyers to trust online stores but I guess we’ve overcome that through customer service and great marketing promotions.

Is there any motto or quote you live by?

To get better, you always have to step out of your comfort zone 🙂

How much of a foodie are you?

I AM SO MUCH OF A FOODIE. I get hungry like every hour that’s why I got a mini pantry inside my room.

What kind of music are you into?

I love R&B and acoustic music. I also have a set of workout music which I play when I jog or I do crossfit.

If you could learn anything in this world, what will it be?

That you can’t please everybody but you can always be good (because it’s a personal choice).

How will you describe an ideal date?

Ideal date would be something by the beach with a dose of reggae music and probably some fresh fruit juices (okay that sounds weird, haha)

It is a pleasure to feature you Shai. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”?

Sexy is being confident in your own skin.

    Blogger & Model Nicole Kimberly

Hi Nicole it is a pleasure to feature you on SimplySxy.  Please share with our readers a little about yourself and where you’re from?

Hello!! Thank you for the feature! This is my first! I am a 19-year-old blogger who writes, models, dances and film videos! The reason why I started blogging was because I have been bullied very badly since a young age and I wanted to inspire others to be confident with who they are.

What is your fashion style like?

I would say I’m heads over heels for American styles! I really love how Americans get to layer their apparels and change their outfits according to their seasons!

What is your secret to looking so fantastic?

I didn’t know that I do! Hmm, I guess all you really need is self-love and to be confident with yourself because that is what makes you who you are.

Do you have any guilty pleasures when it comes to food?

I do, in fact! I’m a sucker for sweet stuff, like extremely sweet things! And I can’t seem to stop after starting!

What kind of flowers do you like?

I love daisies, roses, baby’s breath and daffodils.

If you can be a superhero, who will it be?

I’d want to be Wonder Woman!

Have you done anything crazy before and not regret?

I was scared of the Halloween Horror Night’s setup but I didn’t regret going for that!

What is your idea of an ideal date?

My ideal date would be a simple meal in a café.

Thank you for taking the time to answer our questions Nicole. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”?

No worries! It’s my honor! To me, “Sexy” means being comfortable in your own body, by accepting your flaws and embracing them. Make your flaws awesome and that makes you FLAWSOME!

  • Malaysian Blogger Miriam Goh

    Malaysian Blogger Miriam Goh

Hi Miriam, thank you for taking the time to answer our questions.  Please share with our readers a little about yourself and where you’re from?

    Hi there 🙂

Firstly, thanks SimplySxy for this opportunity to be featured on your site. Well, I’m Miriam and I blog at Miriam Merry Go Round (www.miriammerrygoround.com) about well really everything I experience in my daily life. Coming from Malaysia, it’s definitely a country with tons of fun adventures and food 😉

What was  the inspiration behind starting your blog?

My initial journey with my blog was just as a personal diary where I shared about the teenage frustrations, stuff at that time which were like major decisions in my life but I got more active in blogging after graduating from university. I loved reading about adventures and experiences others shared on their blog and I realised how far in the world you could explore through one’s blog.

I love making new friends and through blogging I met so many new friends that empowered and helped me grow. Not only that, I believe that no one is ever confined to the place where they are because I hope that through my blog, my readers are also able to experience the joys in life that I encounter.

Which are your favorite beauty brands and products?

I am more of a K-beauty brand fan because heavy makeup isn’t something I steer towards. I like the natural look that Koreans pull off, the subtle colors that just highlights the best features instead of heavy makeup. I can literally just go out with just some concealer and maybe mascara. Oh wait! I would say recently my brows play an important part in my daily makeup look. I never leave the house without making sure my brows are in shape.

What is the funniest thing that has ever happened to you?

I would say something funny would happen whenever I am around. Odd things that just don’t happen to other will somehow happen to me that my friends literally go speechless. Most of these incident happen because I seriously have the memory of Dory from Finding Nemo. One minute I am talking about a certain incident and the next thing I know, I don’t remember what I was talking about. There was once I was looking for my spoon while dining with friends only to realise it was in my hands the whole time.

How much of a foodie are you?

I am a huge foodie! Everyone around me can vouch for that. Just talk about food and you would see my eyes sparkle. I wouldn’t say I am a picky eater or have specific preferences but my taste buds do pick up on the different flavors. I love cooking as well so when I taste something that I really enjoy, I tend to experiment and try to come out with a similar (or better) dish 😉 I have a dream of owning my own food joint one day so I guess my love for food is a bonus.

I believe that food is one of the greatest joys because how can you not be happy in front of food? Great food also calls for good company and so many beautiful connections can be made with food.

What kind of movies do you enjoy watching?

Anything besides Horror! Gosh, take me to watch a horror film and you would see me squirming in my seats or watching from behind my hands. I actually fear for those who watch it with me because my friends told me they actually got shocked from me grabbing them all of the sudden instead of from the movie. *laugh*

If you could learn anything in this world, what will it be?

If possible, I would love to learn how to read people’s mind because gosh that would just avoid any unnecessary drama or miscommunications. Sometimes I wished that people would just say what they are thinking but I guess there are somethings that can’t be said. But on a serious note, I would love to learn all the different cuisines from every country because in food, there is so much culture and so much we can learn.

How will you describe an ideal date?

An ideal date for me would be going for some fun activities like going for Escape Room, Laser Tag or maybe catch a good movie and of course ending with a good meal. But all in all, the ideal date would be anything as long as it is with the one I love.

It is a pleasure to feature you Miriam. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”?

I believe sexy isn’t just about the appearance but one can be intelligently sexy or sexy on the inside as well. Everyone has their own appealing features which can excite those they meet whether emotionally, mentally or physically *wink* Most importantly is just to be yourself no matter what shape or size you are because everyone is just fabulous!

  • Singer Songwriter Cathy Kim

    Singer Songwriter Cathy Kim

My name is Cathy Kim and I am 23 years old. I was born in Sydney, Australia, but moved to S. Korea a few months after I was born. When I was 6, I moved to Dallas, Texas, lived there for 10 years and now I’m in the best of the west, California. I just graduated from UCSB’ 14. Go Gauchos! I am a singer, songwriter at ST5A MRMG in Downtown LA. I am slowly transitioning into a music producer. I also do food blogging on the side, because I love to eat and cook!

Where does your inspiration in music come from?

I began to play the piano since the age of 4, which is a typical thing to do growing up in an Asian family. Playing the piano was something really special to me. I believe it was the only thing that I knew I was really good at and I also knew I had the talent to pursue my career somewhere in the music industry. I wasn’t confident in education, it wasn’t something that I felt comfortable in.

My parents were very strict about me listening to Non-Christian music. They were a very strong spiritual family. However, I have been rebellious since the day I was born. Secretly, I loved to listen to Korean Pop. When my parents were away, I’d sneak on the computer to listen to the latest Korean Ballads, and Pop music.

I took something that I was good at, which is playing the piano and improvising, and what I love to listen together in the beginning year of my college. I was more free since I was further away from my strict parents. I was able to listen to K-Pop whenever I wanted. My musical abilities, and my love for K-Pop definitely brought this whole thing together.

What are some of the challenges artistes face in the competitive K-Pop market?

Back in the days, maybe about 3-5 years ago, it was all about how pretty or good looking the “idols” were, and this is just my opinion, and anyone can disagree. Now currently, I feel as if the superficial aspects of K-Pop is diminishing and it’s more about having multiple talent, which for me, is great. K-Pop industry also wants younger generations as trainees. So, now the older idols are less accepted and they stress about what is stored in next for them in their career. To satisfy a K-Pop fan is tough I think. One has to really be able to execute everything. If you are a dancer, it is recommended that you know how to rap and sing, and vice versa for the vocalists. If you don’t have that, the artist has to know how to entertain. Overall, it’s getting harder to become a K-Pop artist, you have to know how to sing, rap, dance, and entertain.

If you could have the opportunity to collaborate with anyone past or present, who will it be?

My style of writing is transitioning. As a classical trained pianist, it was a lot easier for me to write top lines for Pop. But as I have been taking vocal lessons, and practicing more of new style, R&B and Hip-Hop I personally would love to collaborate with AOMG, ZICO, CRUSH, ZION T, and DEAN.

What’s the most expensive item you have splurged on?

Hm… I’m trying to remember. I rarely go out to shop for clothes or anything. Money never came easy for me. My family always had a hard time. I earned my money through teaching piano and teaching swimming as well. But yes, now I do remember. I saved up about $1500 to buy myself a laptop for college. It was the best thing that ever happened to me. I was able to download K-Pop music on to my computer and listen to it whenever I wanted.

Can you recommend some of the best spots to party in Seoul?

I can’t answer you this one because I haven’t gone out to party in Seoul, just yet. But I heard Octagon and Arena are poppin’ right now.

If you had the choice of any superpower, what will it be and why?

Teleportation for sure. I want to travel the world. Listen to each culture’s music. I took ethnomusicology classes back in college. I love all kinds of music. I want to just teleport to places and experience their music world.

Which Disney character best represents you?

Ariel. She was rebellious, she learns her lessons through mistakes. She was willing to lose her voice to become human. I’d do anything to stay with music.

What guilty indulgences do you have for food?

Oh dear Lord… I do blog about food. My Instagram is just photos of food. My mom’s a chef. I can’t stop eating. I love Korean food. It’s in my blood. I love garlic, onions, vinegar, kimchi and rice.

    Naughtiest thing you’ve done?

    I’m an angel though… O:)

    What’s sexy to you?

Confidence. I hear celebrities say this all the time, and I highly agree. If you are able to get past your insecurities and out of your comfort zone and accomplish what you want to do, that’s sexy in a woman.

LA Photographer And Writer Jennifer Wu

Hi Jennifer, thank you for taking the time to answer our questions.  Please share with our readers a little about yourself and where you’re from?

Hello everyone! I’m a Los Angeles based photographer and writer. My work revolves mostly around social media photography and marketing integration, and currently, I’m trying to expand to editorials and travel photography. I work for various companies as a contract photographer, as a freelancer in both photography and graphic design, and as a writer for Canon USA.

How did your interest in photography start?

I started shooting around the narcissistic age of 18 (2011) when I started up my oh-so-hip Tumblr blog. I got a Canon T3 Rebel from my dad as a graduation gift and from there on, I started experimenting with it (aka I took a lot of selfies and photos of my stuff). I didn’t start pursuing it professionally until January of 2015 when I started to pivot away from the corporate world of graphic design.

What are the challenges a photographer typically faces?

I think the biggest challenge for any creative is getting over self doubt. It’s really hard to compare yourself to a talent so intangible and so susceptible to human interpretation. Your worst enemy is yourself and I think getting into this field, you really need to understand your self worth and always fight out of the slump that pulls you down. I’ve seen many give up photography because they didn’t think it was worth pursuing in the end. It’s not an easy journey, I will tell you that.

Another challenge that I experience personally is trying to stay above the curve. The market is super saturated and it’s hard to stand out and be different from the rest. How can I make my work speak for itself? That question still haunts me and I’m still trying to figure that out for myself. How do you define who you are and stay consistent within your definition?

Which is your most memorable travel experience so far?

My most memorable travel experience would have to be New York this past February. I got to spend a full 2 weeks in NYC and experience it in all its glory. Not only did I get to experience NYFW, sit in the photographer’s pit, and get published in Composure Magazine, but also got to actually enjoy my stay in the Big Apple. It’s probably my first long-term trip that I paid completely with my hard earned money since I started my career and I’m very proud of this accomplishment.

If you could shop for free in any brand or shop, which would it be?

Man…that is like asking to choose your favorite child. Thankfully, I don’t have kids yet so this should be a little easier. I would probably go with Nasty Gal because anything weird and edgy is my type of clothes.

Are you more of a morning person or night owl?

It’s around 2am as I’m answering this, so yes I am of the night variety. We are zombies pretty much until 5pm and then the coolness of the evening awakens our inner beings and suddenly we are 10x more productive. If you start howling at the moon, however, you’ve gone too far and you probably need some sleep.

If you could time travel, where will you go and why?

I would go back to that time I tripped and ate it on the sidewalk…actually there are a lot of those incidents…Can I go to every time I’ve fallen on my face and erase that from history?

    Liv

How will you describe an ideal date?

I love dates that have no strings attached. I love casual dates that just lead from one event to the next and the night is free-flowing. The best dates are effortless with good conversation (and good wine).

It is a pleasure to feature you Jennifer. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”?

Well, all I need is a mirror—I’m totally joking. My answer is pretty cliché, but I really do believe confidence is sexy. Not boastful, prideful confidence, but more of a reassurance of oneself that you can be yourself and let yourself shine in all its potential. Be true to yourself and true to others.

    Work In Progress:

    “Color me Blind”

This is a personal project of mine inspired by Valentino’s all red shoot featured on instagram. With all the unrest in the world as people fight over identification, supremacy, and racial stereotypes, I wanted to start a project that brought beauty, not only to the clothes that one wears, but also, that in the end, the color of your skin is the most beautiful part of you.  (image: Work In Progress.jpg) This is a sneak peek of one of the shots I took for this project. I will be expanding it soon to all the colors of the rainbow.
