    Hi! Thank you so much for the opportunity. My name is Jessica Alicia, I’m 20 years old. I’m from Bali, Indonesia but currently attending university in Surabaya, Indonesia. I’m a beauty blogger since 2014 at www.jessicaalicia.com. I write about product reviews, tutorials, tips, etc. I love makeup, skincare and everything beauty-related, that’s why I write about it on my blog. My makeup style is more like a “light” k-beauty makeup that isn’t too heavy but enhances your natural beauty.

    Maybe you noticed I don’t use a lot of makeup on my photos because I like it that way! As I said, I love Korean makeup, the product formulations and the makeup style suit me the best! ^^ Lastly, my motto is beauty isn’t just about what’s on the outside, but inner beauty is important, too. Outer beauty means nothing if not balanced with inner beauty, right?

    How did your interest in beauty and fashion start?

    It started when I was 15 years old, I didn’t have any knowledge about makeup back then. Me and my family were invited to our relative’s wedding. I wanted to dress up a little, so I searched for makeup tutorials on YouTube. I watched a lot of beauty videos, I tried recreating the looks, and it was so fun! I fell in love with beauty and everything about it ever since, hence creating my beauty blog.

    Where do you get your inspiration from?

    Inspiration comes from everywhere, basically. But the people who inspired me the most are Michelle Phan; which is one of the first beauty gurus I watched on YouTube, BubzBeauty, Jenn Im, and my fellow beauty blogger friends.

    What is the best compliment you have received?

    “How do you stay happy and smiling all the time? It makes me smile too. Your happiness in contagious.”

    Have you witnessed a fashion disaster before?

    Aside from pictures on the internet, no I don’t think so!

    Is there something you’ve always wanted to do but haven’t had the time to do so?

    I really want to learn to play a musical instrument. I can’t even play one instrument properly. At least I want to learn the guitar or piano. And also, I want to dance as well. I used to dance back in high school, but I don’t have the time to dance anymore right now.

    If you could have a superpower, what will it be?

    Definitely teleportation. I love the idea of me being able to be anywhere in one second!

    What is an ideal first date for you?

    First dates shouldn’t be too fancy, right? Maybe just movies and casual chit-chat at a café.

    Hi everyone! Thank you for having me here ? My name is Tabitha, I’m a fashion, beauty and lifestyle blogger from Bali, Indonesia. I’m an accounting graduate, but now I’m working as an Influencer and also modelling in Bali.

    How did your interest in beauty and fashion start?

    I always loved beauty and fashion since I was a kid, and it grows even more when I was a teenager, but I still couldn’t share my ideas or thoughts back then. Then, after graduate from University, there’s a lot of social media platform showing up, I feel so grateful for that and use them to share my passion that has long been buried.

    What inspired you to start Heels and Beyond, and why the name?

    It all began from when I was sharing my daily outfit pictures on social media, when the “ootd” phenomenon was started. What I wore that day, I will capture and share it on my social media (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter). But, as time goes by, I feel like it’s not enough, you know, I feel like I needed a bigger platform than these. So, I started my blog, Heels and Beyond in 2014 which is dedicated to bring any inspiration look whether it’s casual, glamour, party or formal.

    The name of “Heels and Beyond” was actually because I love to wear heels a lot, and because it used to be a fashion blog, I thought people will get the message directly from the “Heels” word. And for the “Beyond” I wanted to emphasize that it’s not limited to just fashion, I also want to share a little bit about what I experience and learn. Basically, it represent a girl’s world which is infinite and endless to many things.

    A year later after I published it, I started to receive a lot of offer for collaboration and invitations to many important events in Bali. The requests also came a lot from beauty and lifestyle brands so I expanded my blog field/categories to fashion, beauty and lifestyle blog.

    How will you describe your fashion style?

    Sophisticated, sexy and constantly evolving. I always love a style that makes a statement, especially when it accentuates a woman’s body, that embraces my feminine side. Sexy yet still classy, and constantly evolving means you’re ready to change and open to new trends. What’s most important to me above all is I stay true to be myself.

    Have you witnessed a fashion disaster before?

    Yes, I have. But I think style is also a preference of each individual, as long as you comfortable with it, just go for it.

    Is there something you’ve always wanted to do but haven’t had the time to do so?

    I really want to work on my YouTube channel, but I haven’t had time because I’m so overwhelmed with my Instagram work right now.

    If you could collaborate with anyone past or present, who will it be?

    I always adore Olivier Rousteing’s Balmain design, it will be such a dream come true if I could collaborate with him. And also Michelle Phan, she’s such a big influence and inspiration in my life.

    What do you not get about guys?

    Their selective hearing. They have some issues with listening unless it’s some sensitive topic, they would listen and give full attention to you.

    Hi! My (full) name is Tey Cindy, something I always get asked twice.

    I am the creator of my website, Cin City, but I like to think of myself as a ‘lifestylist’. Since 2005, I have been writing travelogues, guides, and creating content. My goal is for every ‘Cin Citizen’ to find something ‘cinspirational’, valuable or relatable every time they visit teycindy.com.

    I am from a town so small, you most likely don’t even know it exists. But I am proud of that because it taught me “it is not where you come from but how you shape yourself while chasing your dreams, to fit into the world you want to live in”.

    What is your proudest achievement so far?

    Usually I’d say the amazing sponsored trips I received or having my blog featured in the media, but really, it is becoming the person I am today.

    For having a stand in what I believe in, doing my best to earn what I yearn, and fighting for what makes me happy. Mistakes teaches a woman, but lessons make a woman; who is wiser and stronger than yesterday.

    Building that confidence has helped me live a very loved and fulfilled life, which I am very proud of.

    Do you have any personal quotes that motivate you regularly?

    Whenever I fail or feel sluggish, a simple “I can do anything I put my mind to” does it for me. I think it works because I truly believe I can; otherwise as a realist, I won’t aim for it at the first place!

    Stealing a quote from my best friend, “It takes wisdom to make it work”. So get creative, work smart, not just hard.

    Should one day all else fails, live to see more of the world and widen your mind. Then find a cause you really believe in and be part of a supporting community.

    How is a typical day like for you?

    My routine changes, as I am always finding ways to make it suit my lifestyle better.

    I start my morning with what I want to last throughout the day – I exercise to calibrate my posture and am currently taking on the 100-squats-for-30-days challenge. Then I’d listen to Spanish lesson podcasts while clearing away any house chores, before having a good shower as a little reward of the day.

    After brunch I start editing (photos / videos), writing, posting on social media, reply emails and do freelance work. For stress relief, I play with my cat Cinga. This whole chunk takes about 6 hours of my day.

    I am a domestic person by nature. Most days around 6 p.m., I’ll start cooking a nice dinner and end the evening by spending quality time with my husband or myself with a book or Pinterest.

    Is there a place you’ve always wanted to travel but haven’t found the time yet?

    There are so many! If I had to pick one, it’d be Mongolia.

    Which food or drink can you live without?

    Margarine. Everyone should be educated about the disadvantages of this harmful, high trans fat product.

    If you could be a cartoon character, who will you be?

    Sailormoon! Isn’t it such a girl’s fantasy to have a magic ruby pen, long gold locks and a mystery gentleman with red roses to save the day with?

    What is the funniest or lamest attempt a guy has tried to know you?

    I was walking along the street in Singapore, when a guy jumped out in front of me and asked if he could buy me a drink some time. I told him I am married and his response was “I’m not looking for a wife. Can I have your number?” I was like . . . “NO!”

    The definition of “sexy” for men and women differs slightly to me.

    I find a woman who: is confident in taking control of her own body, understands the importance of loving herself, and knows how to have fun yet owns strong values, very sexy.

    A sexy man to me is a person who reads a lot, is experienced in life, grounded, fit, and most importantly loyal. Because can you hold high regards for a sexy man who is unfaithful?

    There wasn’t a day where I said, “Oh I’d like to blog something“. It just came. I posted a picture on Instagram and then I started my blog.

    Where there’s a will, there’s a way! 🙂

    Sunglasses and lipstick.

    If you could a superpower, what will it be and why?

    If I should pick a superpower, I would like to be invisible. Because I can be in a room and hear what others talk behind your back.

    Puuuh I really have no idea. Maybe two weeks? 😀

    Where did the inspiration to start your website come from?

    I started my own blog because of Lookbook! Lookbook was where I first started posting my outfits and wrote short blurbs about them. As I slowly gained a following, my followers and family then suggested that I write full on outfit blog posts outside of Lookbook and that’s how gelabeef.com came to be! It’s currently being revamped though – it’ll be up and running again this February!

    What is your fashion style like?

    If I could describe it, it’s very “highstreet”. I like mixing feminine, high fashion silhouettes with loose, comfortable, streetwear pieces.

    How much of a party animal are you?

    My definition of partying is hanging out with my family or friends while we pig out on the best snacks or take out, binge watch TV series/movies, dance to 90s music and play board games!

    Have you been in an embarrassing or funny situation before?

    Loads! I’d rather not share my most embarrassing moment though. Let’s just say it involved not being able to hold my bladder in a moving vehicle. LOL!

    Is there something you’ve always wanted to do but haven’t had the time to do so?

    Yes! I have always wanted to level-up my cooking skills and really focus on creating quality content on YouTube. I have promised myself that I will make time for both of this in 2018.

    Which superhero will you be if given a choice?

    Doctor Strange, for sure!

    What is the funniest or lamest attempt a guy has tried to know you?

    “Would you like me to give you free art classes?”, said this graphic designer guy who messaged me on Facebook years ago. Now he’s my fiancée.

    Hellu! My name is Vivian, I’m from Singapore. Currently a final year student getting a degree in film studies.

    How will you describe your fashion style?

    Simple and monochromatic I guess! I prefer to dress in simple outfits that make me the most comfortable. Otherwise plain solid colors. The most fancy thing on me would probably be my hair and shoes haha.

    Do you have any guilty pleasures when it comes to food?

    Plenty, hahaha. I eat a lot, and I eat anything. I’m not really a picky person but if I have to chose, my favorite is probably stirred fried spicy brinjal and Singapore’s Prata Bom!!

    Describe a typical day like for yourself.

    I lead a very normal student life right now. Life isn’t exactly very interesting for me because it only revolves around home and school. I usually wake up and prepare for school, have my lunch outside during my break time and then head back for lessons again until it is time to go home.

    I do get on my laptop to blog about my life once in a while though. Life is a little too hectic for me to do that daily now. I spend more time working and replying email before I head to bed and rest up for the next day.

    If you could travel to anywhere in the world for a vacation, where will it be?

    I want to visit Switzerland! Switzerland is an amazing and peaceful place filled with really nice people. They have super nice food too!

    Which flavor best describes you?

    I don’t know… spicy? Hahahaha.

    Have you ever had a secret admirer?

    Yep! There was this one time where a guy kept on sending me gifts virtually, then one day it became physically mailed to my place. It was quite creepy, but I told him it made me uncomfortable so he stopped after a while.

    What turns you off on a date?

    Hmm, that would probably be inconsideration? Like….. Snatching the menu, ordering on my behalf, didn’t bother to conceal his BO…… Guys who doesn’t spare a thought for the girl usually commit such dating taboos right? XD

I’m from Kuala Lumpur but I moved to Johor Bahru recently.

    How will you describe your fashion style?

    Hmm…my fashion style is “complex”  It can be very casual, it can be very sassy, fancy, street-style or feminine. Basically, I love to try different styles. You can see me wearing a shirt with short pants and the next day I’ll wear a dress with high heels. I wouldn’t say that I’m a fashionista but I love to follow up on the trends.  One last thing is wearing whatever you like. Be bold and young!

    What is your secret to looking so fantastic?

    There’s a secret, be confident.  Confidence is self-assured. Be yourself cause you are amazing, don’t change.

    Do you have any hobbies?

    I love photoshoots even if I’m not a professional.  Listening to music is part of my life too, any kind of music. You can follow my Spotify playlist at (Everything You Need) because you will see properly that I listen to everything. That’s how weird am I. I do love running too when I’m free.

    Which flavor best describes you?

    Coffee or matcha? Cause both of them are my favourite, specially matcha. It changed my life a lot, matcha describes my life. It’s tremendously sweet but sometimes it’s bitter than has ever been. That’s why matcha is bittersweet.

    How much of a foodie are you?

    I’m a food lover as you can see, I like to explore new foods and recipe everywhere.

    If you could have a super power, what will it be?

    It probably will be “being transparent” because I can do whatever I like without being watched by other people.

    Is there something you totally don’t get about guys?  

    I don’t know why some of the guys love to hurt their loved ones? If you really love a girl, why do you still do hurtful things to her? It’s heartbreaking.

    People call my style Edgy with black as my basic colour.

    What is your beauty regime like?

    To be honest I don’t really have a proper regime, especially when I am too tired. I can just choose sleep LOL but I always try my best to do a proper skin care like cleaning my face, putting essence, continuing with serum and cream. Once in a while I will do a face mask or face scrub.

    Do you believe in any superstition?

    Nope I don’t.

    Which kind of movies do you enjoy watching?

    Horror, comedy and action.

    Hi there! Thanks for having me. I’m a twenty three year old style and travel blogger based in Southern California. My blog, Trendy Chickadee, focuses on sustainable fashion, tropical travel and laid back living.

    What is your proudest achievement so far?

    In life, I’d say it’s having a core group of amazing friends and family. I feel so lucky to be surrounded by so many kind, creative, cool people and am proud to know them. As far as blogging, my proudest moment so far was the day I was able to leave my nine-to-five desk job to pursue blogging full time. It took a lot of hard work and long hours, but I got to a place where I could pay my bills on blogging alone, which was major for me!

    Which is the best compliment you have received?

    I love when I get messages from girls who say I make them happy. Either by inspiring them to start a creative project of their own, recommending a cute new clothing brand or sending them some giveaway goodies in the mail. Blogging can be a silly and shallow industry, so I hope to make some one smile and make a difference in my own tiny ways.

    Do you have any hobbies?

    Tons! I love hanging out with my dog, Penny. I love photography, music and binge watching documentaries. My boyfriend Drew and I actually have a joint account to showcase our photography. It’s called @beachbyrds on Instagram!

    What is you dream super power to have?

    Teleportation! I could save money on all those expensive flights!

    If you could change one thing about the world, what will it be?

    Oh gosh, that’s a tough one. Especially the way the world is right now. I’d say to eliminate all waste and pollution, especially in our oceans!

    Are there any exciting projects you will be involved in for the rest of 2017?

    My major is in pharmaceutical and I’m now working in a hospital pharmacy to dispense medicine.

    Do you have any hobbies?

    My hobbies are quite diverse. I like both active and quiet activities. I like to go hiking and to the beach sun for tanning, dancing, reading, and watching movies. Always up for an adventure and trying new things.

    I like to go shopping while I’m travelling to other countries so that it is less likely to have my outfit clashed with others in my home town. Also I shop online too, for some brands as they are only available on online shops only.

    Ummm that is quite funny. A guy asked me how to go somewhere and after teaching him how, he asked me for my contact number. It is a kinda old-school method LOL.

    What is your ideal dream guy?

    My ideal type of guy…ummmm I wish he can be my love one and best friend at the same time, loyal and caring. Make each other better, challenge each other to go beyond average, pull out the greatness from within each other.

    I think sexy is an attitude and personality, it isn’t about showing skin. For me, sexy people are their confidence and kindness. Always be yourself to make you look more sexy xoxo.
