How I Started My Own Porn Company

I have several personal views towards sex. I can understand and appreciate the point of view of people inside and outside of the adult entertainment industry. As an ex-husband and an adult in a current monogamous relationship, I have a view of sex that can be aligned with the thoughts and feelings of that group of people: sex is private, my woman’s body is for my eyes only, our pleasure is only for our memories and no one else’s. As an adult film producer, my view of sex is that most adults do it, and almost all those adults have the option of how soft or how hard/freaky their sex lives are, AND MANY PEOPLE MASTURBATE TO PORN (or in general).

I love sex. Love to have it, love to do it, love to make it. My girlfriend and I have many mutual sexual attributes: the desire to please the other person, realizing the importance and of foreplay, being open to (listening to) creative new ideas from your partner, and both partners feeling the desire to assist one another in reaching climax.

My girlfriend is also in the adult film industry, as a female talent performer. While I prefer to stay behind the camera shooting, directing, and producing, there are times that I still perform in shoots/scenes. She and I have an agreement that when we do scenes with other people, there is no kissing, no romance, no lovey dovey, no flirting off camera. We are ALL about the sex and the scene, but we take our relationship seriously. For us, the distinction between the sex in front of the camera and the sex in our bedroom is very easy to differentiate.

The Inspiration Behind DoggVision

Like many guys, I’ve been masturbating since my preteen years. In some years past, like many other guys, a grown (married) man still masturbating, I used to curse my computer for not being able to fight the urge to turn it on whenever no one was around, and rub one out for fear of explosion if I didn’t. I used to wonder if I could ever make any money from this industry that seemed to be taking so much of mine.

I tried to start a website in 2003, but with zero industry knowledge or successes to draw from, I only ran into roadblocks. I used to have an ex-girlfriend and we would make videos of some of our bedroom sexscapades. She would also let me take pics of her in sexy clothes/lingerie/nude. Eventually, I admitted to that I posted some of the pics/videos to a free porn site. As all of our videos never showed either of our faces, she wasn’t too upset, and after a while, she was interested to hear some of the comments that men and women would leave.

Of course, after we broke up, she demanded that I take every video and pic gallery down. I did. I hated doing it. Although I did all of the work to create the videos, I badly missed the adulation of our (her) very small batch of fans.

Years later, I would have a very short relationship with a woman that wanted to have her own porn site; she was talking my language! Neither of us had any porn sites, or even any content. I had six jobs at that time: a college professor of two colleges, a substitute teacher, a night janitor, a night auditor for a hotel, and I ran my own online resume writing service. When I would wake up in my bed, I didn’t know if it was morning or night. I had been a single dad with my kids living with me. With six jobs, I still lived paycheck to paycheck…if I was lucky. Life was hard.

That woman got me to quit ALL of my jobs and work on the site full-time! That woman that had convinced me to start my own porn site, gave me the balls that I have today. When she and I started DoggVision.com, there were times when I thought it was over before the site ever went live. She believed in me when I didn’t.

Gradually, I started making swinger connections and my network grew. Once the word got out that there was a guy who was paying people to video them having sex on camera, I had slowly found my footing. With some good made connections, hard work, and belief in yourself and what you’re doing, this can be a successful business.

DoggVisions’ Specialty

DoggVision.com specializes in straight and transgender content: all interracial, all amateur. Our content includes raw hardcore scenes of sex, fisting, water sports, and sh** play.

Favorite Genres To Film

I’m not sure that I have a particular favorite scene or genre. But with any scene, my favorites to shoot are the ones where the performers have a sexual history together. This way, they know the hot spots to get the other person off, and vice versa. I prefer to shoot amateurs because I believe that the true purveyor of porn can tell the difference between a woman screaming and moaning (and continuously looking at the camera) and a woman who is truly enjoying herself in the scene.

Criteria For Performers

My sites are generally ALL amateur; although, I do have a few ‘porn stars’ in some of my videos. For example, when I first began my TS-Perversions.com site, TS Kimber Haven and TS Raven Roxx were just starting out and barely known. Now, several years later, both of them have received multiple industry awards, and run their own porn empires.

If you were to ask me ‘who’ I would love to work with, I would have a very short list of popular porn star names. If you were to ask me who I ‘preferred’ to work with, I would tell you straight-up amateurs. From my point of view, the sex is more real, the woman are generally not acting, and the screams and moans that you hear are real and actual. It can be refreshing to work with a professional who needs very little direction or advice on the set. I’ve found, however, that, in comparison to porn stars, amateurs are more excited about the shoot and appreciative for the opportunity – and many work harder on the set, with that mentality in mind.

Evolution Of The Porn Industry In The Future

One thing that I, and many others, see these days is ‘professional’ studio companies making their porn to ‘look’ more amateur. For example, using cell-phone footage in videos, etc. I tried using cell-phone footage on my ‘paid traffic’ videos years ago (on the free porn sites), but they weren’t ‘accepted’ or ‘approved’. Today it’s done all the time, and even I do it now, and it’s ‘acceptable’. Hmmm…isn’t that nice of them to allow me to do it, now that the big companies do it. Porn Politics…?

My company, Network 33 LLC, and my sites will be what I consider to be a ‘big’ company within the next several years. I do my homework, I plant the seeds of prosperity and I water them, I plan my work, and I work my plans. There are many genres and categories of porn out there, but I will always keep it raw, extreme, and amateur.
