Fashion Model & Vlogger Mara Smith

Hello! Thank you for having me. Well I am Mara Smith, twenty one years old and I am a mixed Filipina-Black American born in Los Angeles, California but raised here in the Philippines since I was about three years old. I am currently working as a fashion model and I also am starting out to share my experiences through vlogging.

Which is the best compliment you have received?

I always appreciate when I get compliments of how good and professional I am to work with. I enjoy my job as a model and even though it may look easy, it is a tough job and it requires discipline and hard work excel to at it.

What is your beauty regime like to looking so fabulous?

I’ve learned to invest in good and as much as possible organic skincare, quality makeup and clothes, and living a healthy lifestyle consistently. No to soda and too much junk food!

How much of a foodie are you?

I love food so much but in my line of work I cannot afford to always indulge. I’m very open to try different cuisines and taste new dishes all the time and I enjoy most of them except for meat, I’m trying to cut down on those.

Do you have any hobbies or interests?

Yes! I spend most of my time reading YA, Dystopian and Mystery novels, watching movies, spending quality time with my family, and lately I’ve been trying to develop my personal style more by learning about fashion styling.

Which flavor best describes you?

Milk chocolate.

If you could be a fictional or cartoon character, who will it be?

I’ve always wanted to be Barbie cause she has good style, or Jasmine from Aladdin.

What turns you off on a date?

I don’t like someone who talks about themselves in a very egotistical way. Someone who describes their life, success and personality as almost perfect because if you have good qualities it should be shown, not bragged. Just walk the talk.

Thank you for taking the time to answer our questions Mara. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”? 

Sexy for me is when you are fearless about whatever it is you want, who you want to be with and comfortable in your own skin. For me, dressing classy and stylish, having a healthy and toned body, and being confident in who you are will always be sexy.
