    I firmly believe when people operate from a place of transparency, communication and harm reduction, so called “alternative” lifestyles can be just as normal as “traditional” lifestyles.     How My Interest In Kink Began

    I think I’ve always had an interest, sex wasn’t taboo in my house growing up. I liked understanding other people, there are so many things we can express and experience. I recognized what negative sexual situations were: exploitation and power imbalances; but also how those instances could be done with consent and equality.

    I was single for the first long time in my early 20’s and I decided I’d let myself explore myself for a change. I had previously spent the last decade teaching my partners how to have good sex and intimacy. I explored my local community, went out to events, got hooked and the rest is history.     Knowing What Kink You’re Into

    Start by thinking about what turns you on, and then get into the Why of it. This will help you identify what activities will be geared towards your interests. I get turned on by power dynamics, I like it when there is a strong dominant and disntinctive separate submissive energy.

    So, I look for things that will include those feelings: roleplay, impact play, femdom, etc. Try stuff! Don’t be afraid to try everything at least twice.     So I was sitting at the bar listening to the live music with my fav gin tonic, and this dude just walks up to me and say,  “Hi, you look like the model I followed from Instagram but I’m pretty sure you’re not her…but I would love to follow you on IG.”

    So I type out my IG and the next thing I know, he actually fainted because he couldn’t believe his eyes that it was really me. The next day he drops me a text on my DM and he says last night he dreamt of meeting me at the bar..so I reply and say, “Yeah and you fainted and your friend had to carry you home”. Hahahahaha

    Do you have a beauty regime to looking so fabulous?

    Yes! I’m a HUGE beauty junkie and I have loads of beauty products. These are the current products I’m using listed in order for my night-time routine. I start by removing my make up with Biotherm’s micellar water, then proceed to wash my face with SKII”s face wash, followed by an SKII Toner, La Mer’s The Lotion, and a hydrating serum from Dior (HydraLife Aqua Serum), La Mer Eye Concentrate, La Mer moisturising soft cream, and lastly a facial oil from L’Occitane (Youth Divine Oil). I also use SKII’s facial mask twice a week, and go for hydra-facials/ laser facials once a month!

    Are there any guilty pleasures you for food that you can’t live without?

    Yes! My world would not be complete without CHOCOLATE. I love eating chocolate and I eat it almost everyday!

    Have you ever felt nervous before a performance?

    I always get jittery before my gigs even up till date! I’m guessing I may have an anxiety problem.

    Where is your dream holiday destination?

    Maldives

    I think Coco Chanel said it first, “The best things in life are free”. For me sex is one of those things and although it may not always be free, it is absolutely the best! Sex is something I enjoy, something I use for discovering new (and exploring old) boundaries and more than anything else, sex is a wonderful way for me to continue to grow.

    When it comes to sex, where I am now versus where I was years ago is so completely different. I didn’t always view it with excitement or place any sort of value on sex other than something that I’d do quickly to relieve tension so I could get on with what I was doing. Growing up in a “traditional” Christian household and trying to fashion my life around American society’s view towards sex and sexuality, especially as it pertains to women, negatively affected my sexual growth and it wasn’t until later that I discovered how AMAZING and important sex is for me. I was trying to fit into a mold that was not for me. Seriously, looking back on it now, I don’t know how could I ever pick just ONE person to have sex with for the rest of my life. I mean, really? If this were a Jeopardy, I’d take “Get The F*@% Out of Here for $1000, Alex.

    Needless to say, as it is now, my views on sex and sexuality are more grounded. I approach sex as play and I believe sex is meant for fun and exploration. I can explore parts of myself and make connections I otherwise would not have made and it’s a beautiful thing.

    Getting Into Sex Work

    It seems that I’ve always felt a “calling” towards sex work. I had this sexual energy that I couldn’t quite put my finger on and because I didn’t understand it, I couldn’t express it. From a youngish age, I thought it would be fun to work as a companion but I was too scared to venture out and explore what that really meant any further than simply dreaming about it. For years I tried to ignore and push that desire away, trying to adhere to society’s rules and eventually, what is written in the stars is what’s written in the stars.

    Fast forward a few years and I’m watching Game Of Thrones. There was a scene where these women in a brothel were doing what they do best and for some reason, something about this scene hit me. It was my “ah ha” moment and I thought to myself, “that would be the freakin’ life…having sex, having fun and getting paid to do it” and at that moment I knew what I should have been doing and that was being a sex worker.

    I love sex work because I get to be true to myself. There is just something about tapping into my primal nature that is so freeing and fulfilling. After YEARS of denying my feelings about what I suspected I’d LOVE doing, here I am. As a matter of fact, I believe being in the sex industry has made me a more compassionate and confident person. The thing I enjoy the most is that the possibilities for discovery are endless. We all have our different ways of viewing and expressing ourselves and I love that, for the most part, I am able to freely explore and partake in whatever I find exciting. There seem to be no limits and I love that!

    Misconceptions About Sex Work

    OMGoodness! Let me try not to roll the eyes out of my head regarding all of the dumb shit I’ve heard over the years. I don’t think that there is enough space in this issue of SimplySxy to list all of the ignorant misconceptions I’ve heard. More often than not, I usually hear “(Women) sex workers have daddy issues”. I can only speak for myself and I most certainly do have daddy issues… I love salt and pepper daddies and dominant daddies, but that is probably not what they meant by daddy issues. If this is really the concern, what are the people who spout this crap doing to help turn that around? How about we start teaching boys/young men to aspire to the same institutions, like marriage, that we teach girls to do?

    Then there’s the “sex workers are pimped out” bullshit. My response to that is “hell-to-the-yeah!” I’m my own damn pimp and I’m having fun doing it, so now what? It’s like listen here yoyos… get over yourselves! Just because I’m having sex, making money and enjoy doing it, doesn’t mean that I am being pimped out. At what point will it be okay for me to live my life the way I want and not based on what society thinks I should do? Aren’t you trying to control me or pimp me out by telling me the “right way” to live my life? I mean if that is the logic, then am I not being pimped out if I work at a vanilla job where they hired me and use me based on what I can do to help them generate a profit? What’s the difference? The only difference I see it the type of work being done.

    Let’s not forget the one that really gets my blood boiling. “Sex workers are uneducated”. What is this even based on? Sex workers are lawyers, accountants, nurses and on and on. Some people would be surprised to know that it takes an intelligent and independent thinker to even explore this life and be comfortable with all it has to offer. People who spout this ignorant BS are really unhappy and have repressed sexual issues, either of their own doing or because they want to be “good” people based on what society says is “right”. I have never understood why unhappy people want to make EVERYONE else just as unhappy as they are. Shouldn’t they be trying to learn from those of us who are happy and living a good life? Ignorance is not always bliss and until people are ready to make lasting and effective changes, usually starting with themselves, they can go kick rocks as far as I’m concerned.

    How The Sex Work Industry Works

    The industry is different for everyone. There are similar experiences had by performers and producers but overall, in my experience, it is not a one size fits all type of industry. I’ve had wonderful experiences partly because I do this for fun and I don’t “have to” take a gig in order to pay rent or meet other important obligations.

    A while ago, I shot for a couple of production companies and it was fun but it was an all day, 8-hour day type of booking. That experience totally gave me a real look at this industry, in that while we have fun, it is most certainly a business. There is a good amount of work involved to get a project just right and tailored to the right demographic, but it has always been a wonderful experience.

    Lately, I’ve been running into quite a few performers who don’t seem to have their shit together. From not returning emails in a timely manner, not having their tests and the back and forth multiple unnecessary emails to confirm a shoot. Granted I mainly shoot for my site and ManyVids store so I primarily do content trade shoots so I understand people are about paid shoots but c’mon folks, what in the hell is going on? I make good money with my personal website and ManyVids sales so I guess I’m not really in the same position as others but why not make money together and keep more of it in our pockets since we’ll own the content?

    What I’m happiest about is being the co-owner of Strokehouse Productions, which means that I am not beholden to anyone. We do what we like, we are our own bosses and it is wonderful!

    Staying Unique As A Sex Worker

    There’s nothing more unique than being yourself. There’s only one you and no one can do you, better than you! Let people in to see the real you and don’t do anything you don’t like because its “trending”. In addition to that, I’d suggest knowing something about the demographics you’d like to reach and do something unique to cater to them.

    As far as a following, when you are authentic and true to yourself, people connect with that and feel that they can relate to you. It’s about being relatable, vulnerable and having a presence on social media. Speaking of social media, you must, must, MUST interact with other performers and your fans and I’m not just talking about liking a tweet here and there. Engage, have an opinion, show off and have fun BUT keep it light. Sharing personal ideas and feelings about religion, politics and finances aren’t really turn-ons. They are more like mood killers, so stay away from those issues or having any sort of major conflicts with anyone online. Handling issues in private will serve you much better than trying to prove anything publically.

    Advice For Aspiring Sex Workers

    Do your best not to be afraid of or care what people think. If this is something you want to pursue, then do it all the way. Don’t let anyone tell you what you can and can’t do. Since I’ve heard this little tidbit of advise from RuPaul, it has really stuck with me and now I’ll share it with you. RuPaul says, “unless they (are) paying your bills, pay them bitches no mind!!!” Bottom line, do you because no one can do it the way you do it.

    Another thing I think is very important to consider is having an understanding of what you want from this industry. When you understand what you want and have an idea of where you want to go in this industry, you can put a plan in place to make it happen. No matter what you do, it is important to have a plan, to know where you want to go and how you’re going to get there.

    Please keep in mind that it is going to require effort and time on your end. Sometimes things will go smoothly and a lot of times they won’t. The trick is to keep moving towards your goal and following your plan even when it seems nothing is working out. There’s nothin’ to it but to do it! Good luck to you!

    So far my most memorable modeling experience was working with Little Skull Photography, the vibe that they have in their studio is SO incredible!     Do you have a strict beauty or fitness regime you follow daily?

    In the morning I always take my probiotics, hair, skin and nails gummy vitamins, and my B12! You’d be surprised how much better you look and feel by taking care of the inside of your body as well as the outside. I also make sure to remember to wash my face at night!

    What is the best compliment you have received?

    The best compliment I’ve ever received was when someone told me that they loved that I showed women that you can still be sexy when you are a mom AND a wife! That made me feel amazing, because your life does NOT stop at motherhood or marriage.

    Have you been in an embarrassing moment that is funny now?

    The most embarrassing moment I had was in my hometown at The House Pub in St. Charles, IL with friends and while I was walking down the carpeted stairs, my heel got stuck and I flew forward and the heel was STILL stuck in place! I was mortified, but I got up and strutted to the bar LOL.

    What inspired you to get into modeling?

    I was 14 years old and was sick in bed one day watching entire seasons of America’s Next Top Model on VH1. I remember admiring the girls on the show and dreaming of one day when it would be my turn to rock the runway. I told my parents the news about my newfound career path, and they immediately shut me down. So eventually I forgot about my dream, and quietly kept watching from the sidelines.

    Then literally 10 years later, a friend of mine asked me to pose for him for a photography school project. Oh, and by the way, it was nude! I was super hesitant and shy, but decided to go for it because I trusted his abilities and that he wouldn’t post the photos online. I ended up loving the shots, and he introduced me to Model Mayhem. The rest is history.

    P.S. I did try out for Top Model a couple of years ago and was turned down during the interview phase. Their loss!

    Do you have a preferred genre to model?

    I really enjoy creative, moody nude art concepts. I also want to get more into beauty and editorial looks, but those opportunities are harder to come by in the freelance world.

    Which is your most challenging photoshoot experience so far?

    Probably shooting in cold conditions and not letting the discomfort show in my facial expressions. Another challenge is standing your ground when unprofessional photographers ask you to go beyond your limits or comfort level on set. Luckily the vast majority of my experiences have been positive.

    On a scale of 1-10, how much of a party animal are you?

    Negative 17.

    Well it’s not that I haven’t had the time, but the resources…I want to travel the country in an RV, and then fly to exotic destinations around the world, shooting and documenting my travels along the way.

    Ever since I was little I was inspired by models on magazine covers and billboards. I did photoshoots with old high school classmates, and lots of memories came from it, so getting in front of the camera became fun. I had more experience performing in front of live audiences in theatre, but I was willing to try something new.

    Is posing on camera a lot harder than it looks?

    Posing is on-the-spot direction. A creative director or photographer may have a specific vision in mind though, so they will direct the model. If I have not worked with the photographer yet, I tend to be a little timid at first, but then I warm up to their style and how they take photos.

    What other interests and hobbies do you have?

    I love doing hair, makeup and nails. Art and writing are also hobbies I have. I really want to travel and do photography.

    If you could collaborate or work with anyone in this world, who will it be?

    My dream is to model with Gigi and Bella Hadid.

    Do you believe in any superstition?

    No.

    On a scale of 1-10, how much of a foodie are you?

    As many slices as there are on a large pizza.

    What is the funniest or lamest attempt a guy has tried to know you?

    There have been guys that pretend like they care about my life, then ask for nudes.

    Obviously I am very open minded. Working as a Findomme/FemDome, how could I not be. Even though Findom stands for financial domination, it still involves plenty of other kinks and fetishes than only money transfer.

    Honestly, when I started my work as a Domme, I got so many requests to cater to all kinds of kinks that I got very overwhelmed and needed to take a little time to do some soul searching in myself.

    What kind of Domme am I?

    What do I enjoy most about my work?

    I needed to find clear boundaries for myself. What am I comfortable doing and what fights with my personal morals/thoughts. I don’t believe in home wrecking. Blackmail is a fetish of many but it is such a grey area (legally) so I decided not to put myself in that position.

    Obviously all is a fantasy, but a girls’ got to be smart and true to herself. I don’t cater to scat fetish neither.

    These are just my limits.

    Remember this whole interview is my personal thoughts and experiences as a Domme, model and a business woman in the fetish scene.

    Sensual & Hypno Domination

    I will tackle this interview in the perspective of my style of Domination. As we are talking about the powerful relationship between a Domme/sub, I want to first explain a bit about the different types of slaves and relationships there are.

    Each sub is different and so is each relationship with each slave. I categorize my slaves into two categories.

    Long term slaves and session slaves.

    There is a huge difference on how those relationships work. Obviously the bond between a Domme and slave increases the more we interact. Personally I enjoy most dominating my long term slaves, and we usually have a TPE (Total power exchange) contract. Meaning that the submissive chooses to give me as much control and power over their entire life.

    Body, mind, soul, finances etc the list goes on. These relationships are very important to me, since I interact with them daily. I have deep penetrated their mind helping them to  intense feelings of pleasure and total loss of control.

    Introducing them to mental kinks that they maybe never could have even thought of. This is a deep mental fetish even though money is a huge part of it. To a sub, the feeling of total loss of control is a thrill and they also consider it a huge privilege.

    So I think being someones’ Domme is somewhat similar to being a life coach. Both help people discover their true passions, blocks and help them through a mental journey…in this case a very kinky journey.

    I feel like I am the disease and the cure to a sub. I believe 100% that it is possible to live a fulfilling and happy ‘vanilla’ life whilst serving a Domme and being able to express their kinks and fetishes in a safe setting. I won’t go to full details regarding sensual and hypno Domination.

    Rules To Have A Balanced Life

    Like I already said; each relationship is unique but there is a similar pattern that I go through with every single sub I associate with once we are getting started.

    This is a routine that I recommend Dommes to use to avoid getting your time wasted but to also dominating safely so that both you and your subs get to live a balanced life.

    We also want to avoid misunderstanding our subs and the nature of our relationship with them. We need to take care of all the moving parts to have a awesome successful relationship with all our slaves.

    First Step A Sub Must Do

    The first step is always (without any exception) a ‘Tribute’.

    Tribute is money that the submissive sends to the Domme when contacting her. It is not a payment for any service.

    It basically just lets the Domme know that you are serious with starting a D/s relationship with this Dominatrix.

    Especially in the online Findom/Femdom community there are plenty of scammers, hence why us Dommes require a initial tribute as a proof that they are not being scammed or getting their precious time wasted.

    Designing The Contract/Session

    Now after the initial tribute has been sent, this is the next step.

    I have a ready made template of important questions regarding kinks/limits/budget etc that I ask all of my slaves to fill out.

    This way I can actually start doing my job.

    This also helps me to categorise the sub into one of my two categories.

    1. Long Term slaves
    2. Session slaves

    Why Do Submissives Seek Out A Relationship With A Domme?

    Let’s imagine that a sub is in a happy and successful relationship or a marriage with a ‘vanilla’ spouse whom they love but maybe are not into the fetish lifestyle or Domination.

    They most likely do not feel comfortable experimenting in that area. I don’t believe that anyone should be forced to do anything sexual that they do not feel comfortable doing. So there are few options from where couples can take it from here.

    Either the submissive one who would love to be dominated has to suffocate his urges to explore with his kinks and fetishes in order to stay with their loved one; resulting in an unbalanced/unhappy life.

    That can in worst cases result to mental health issues, cheating on your partner, cheating yourself or even a divorce.

    Or the couple can make an arrangement that the submissive can fulfil his kinky fantasies with a professional Domme in a safe setting, possibly via the internet.

    This is the ideal situation, obviously assuming that the ‘vanilla’ partner gives an okay to this action.

    Many subs live in a long happy relationship while being in a D/s relationship.

    Perfect balance. What the difference is that the Fetish is a fantasy.

    Your love is real.

    Not to belittle the beauty and power of a D/s relationship at all! But we must all understand that it is a fantasy! There are also subs who practise their kink is silence and they keep it a secret from their spouse. There are as many scenarios as there are people.

    This can be a tricky situation for a Domme. Personally I deal with this problem together with my limits; what I’m willing to do and what not. I do not believe in home-wrecking or blackmail. I’m all about female empowerment so I have very strict morals in my dominant work.

    At the best you are able to get the best of both lives,  doesn’t everyone love a little fetish with their vanilla?

    Hi, thank you for the feature on SimplySxy! I was born in Hong Kong and my family moved to Vancouver BC when I was 8 years old. I’m an animal lover but prefer cats the most as it suits my lifestyle more. I believe I’m a borderline introvert as I’m not the type that can just strike up a conversation with anyone and socializing can be tiring at times. But on some occasions, I would like to party it up with loud music. My favorite food is sushi and I love a glass of wine or two sometimes as well.

    When did you first started to blog?

    I love clothes when I was a kid or basically just anything pretty. I was deprived as a kid as my parents wouldn’t always buy the kind of outfits that I like and everything needs to be approved by them. Once I started earning my own money, I updated my entire wardrobe of course. Since I’m always shopping, I might as well start my own blog about my personal style. I always have this idea in my head but didn’t really have the courage or motivation to do it until early 2017.

    What kind of fashion are you into?

    I’m not the one to blindly follow the latest fashion trends. I only incorporated the ones I like and I can carry in my wardrobe. I like the girly or casual chic style usually.

    How much of a foodie are you?

    I definitely love good food (who doesn’t 😁) but I won’t say I’m especially picky about it. I don’t expect much from a home cooked meal but expect more if I’m eating out.

    Have you been in an embarrassing situation that is funny now when you look back?

    I had too much to drink at a party and got really sick. My friends were worried and called an ambulance over 😅

    What 3 things do you love most about Vancouver?

    It’s very multicultural here. Lots of good food selections. Beautiful sceneries with fresh air.

    If you could have a super power, what will it be?

    To time travel back to the past knowing what I know now.

    What is the funniest or lamest attempt a guy has tried to know you?

    When I was in the mall with a friend, these two guys approached us. They asked where we’re heading to after and if they could join lol.

    I find sexy isn’t just the appearance. I feel it’s a combination of both outer and inner beauty. Some people can just have an average appearance but the way they carry themselves can play a major impact on how one views them as being sexy whether it’s their intelligence, charisma or kindness.

    Or some people can look sexy the first impression from their appearances but once you get to know them more, they’re uninteresting or unfriendly, and don’t spark your interest anymore.
