I’m really please to share a bit about myself with your readers. I have been born and raised in Paris, France!
How did you get into modeling and what do you enjoy about it?
Modeling was first because I needed to explore myself and my own femininity at a time where I wasn’t confident. It became a passion and also a way to express myself because it’s really about acting in front of the camera and I like it.
Was Burlesque easy to pick up with your ballet dancing experience?
Actually it wasn’t! I had quit dancing for a while (10 years ago) when I met the Burlesque world in Sydney. At that time I was taking step by step to come back to enjoy dancing after 10 years of doing something else and Burlesque dancing has been a revelation for me!
However my body condition was terribly bad so it’s was technically hard and it’s also about sharing a story and to be able to be proud of your body on stage which is very scary.
What can someone who has never attended a Burlesque or cabaret show expect from their first experience?
Honestly, I will say, “be prepared for everything, because anything can happen!”
This is the beauty of burlesque!
Which 3 fun things do you enjoy doing most in Paris?
Well I don’t think I’m a reference because I’m pretty traditional and I enjoy traditional institutions in Paris, so my top 3 will be to:
Grab a ticket to watch a ballet to the Opera de Paris,
Another one to “la Comédie Francaise”
Go up onto the last floor of “Les Galeries Lafayette “ to have a cup of tea and admire the roofs of Paris!
If you could change or improve one thing about the world, what will it be?
Gosh… There are so many things that we can improve in our world but if I have to choose, I will choose to improve the conditions of women all over the world.
Because I feel closely (obviously I’m a woman) about this and this is unacceptable that in our time, men and women don’t have the same statutes and the same chances in life because of our sexes.
Would you rather invent a new gadget or discover a new species?
I want to definitely discover a new species!! Some species die because of climate change but I’m sure some new ones are born as well! And it will give a bit of hope and happiness to people I think.
Does chivalry still exist today?
It never went away, it just took a different form. And in my opinion, it’s a good thing because we have change the codes between men and women (yes again) and chivalry was so redactor for woman.
Thank you for taking the time to answer our questions Perline. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”?
There is nothing more sexy than a man or a woman who is confident and proud of themselves and their body.
I am Stifin Clae Pineda, a model and a beauty influencer from the Philippines. I graduated with a Mass Communication Major in Broadcasting and that adds to my confidence in expressing myself. I do love writing editorial pieces and stories. I also love fashion and makeup and expressing it on all of my social media accounts. I want to make other people, especially those in my same age to keep motivated on their dreams and to aspire them to keep on their track and to believe on their selves.
I am using all of my social media accounts as my platform to make people realize that we have to embrace the diversity and also to promote equality and acceptance that all of us has difference. To empower women is my main reason why I keep on expressing myself. I want to let women know their substance and get rid of what society has labeled women to be. I think we are the most powerful beings on the world and that we should be given every opportunity. And that’s what we should keep on our minds.
How long have you been a model and what do you love about modeling?
I started to be a model when I was 18, that was the time when I was crowned with the first runner up title on a pageant I joined. After that prestigious pageant, a lot of modelling offers came in and that’s when my modelling career started.
I enjoyed my modelling journey because I really loved expressing my inner side through photos. Striking a lot of poses, slaying all of the wardrobes, doing a lot of facial expressions and being more specific in every details including those smallest details on a photo.
Which is a memorable photo shoot experience you have had before that you can share with us?
It might be the photo shoot I collaborated with a popular resort. I enjoyed the theme of the photo shoot because of its fun colors and beach vibe. From the preparation of the shoot up to the end, the shoot team took care of us, that’s why I didn’t feel it to be exhausting. And I could say that I really had fun because of the beach vibe theme.
Is there any food or drink you can’t live without?
If there’s any food or drink that I can’t live without, maybe that is the donut and a milk tea.
I don’t know, but it’s really my comfort food. I can probably eat it for the rest of the month, hehe.
Do you have a beauty regime to look so gorgeous?
Honestly I’m not into skin care nor makeup. Especially on makeup, I’m not used to this because I tend to say “simplicity is beauty” and my definition of beauty before is that you don’t have to wear makeup, you don’t have to put a lot because for me, bare skin and having clear skin is the real definition of it. But when time goes by, I did appreciate doing my own makeup and mostly my skin care.
That there’s no perfect skin, our skin needs to be taken care of too because it’s not only having pretty make up on, but also having good skin underneath. And I just want to tell this to our young girls, that no matter what skin type you’re having right now, just always remember that God made you in His good way and you don’t have to be ashamed if you’re not having clear skin right now, because I believe that there is a right time for your glow up.
And this one is for those who put a lot of makeup on their skin, just continue enjoying what you’re up to. Just continue your way of expressing your beauty and confidence. Because we’re not putting makeup to impress everyone, it’s for us to gain more confidence and to feel gorgeous at all times. I got you girl!!
Have you been in an embarrassing situation before that is funny now when looking back?
The most embarrassing moment I can remember is when I forgot my wallet that was left in my room and I had been already dropped off by the car I booked.
Would you rather be able to taste colors or see smells?
I would rather able to taste colors, because I can see the beauty in it because when you can see smells, how is that going to happen?
I’m a 23-year-old, independent French-Irish American model raised and residing in Los Angeles, California.
I started my professional modeling career three years ago when I transitioned from modeling and social media managing in the cannabis industry to the fashion, entertainment and commercial industry.

Have you ever been nervous at a photoshoot before?
When I first started out, I’d say I was always pretty nervous and struggled with anxiety because it was fairly new to me.
The more frequently I began shooting, I gained a little confidence each time. Now it’s not too often that something gets me nervous or anxious. If I do know a shoot will reach a large audience ahead of time, it can trigger some nervousness but I think that’s normal. If you don’t hold confidence in yourself, whether it be real or fake, it will show through in your photo and videos. So even if I’m not on my A-game any particular day, I push through and act like I am. That’s a part of the art of modeling.

Which genres of modeling are you into?
I’ve gotten to expand my skill set so much over the past few years including: editorial, lifestyle, beauty, commercial, e-commerce, bridal, prom and formal wear, fit, showroom, runway and boudoir are my main focuses. I’d say my favorite genres to shoot would likely be editorial and bridal, but I love them all because each job is always something new.

How is a typical day like for yourself?
On a typical shoot day I wake up usually about five hours before a shoot, depending on the details or around 7am. I start by filling my large water bottle so that I can hydrate before I even think about eating breakfast or a snack (bonus points for lemon, turmeric, ginger + mint). Since I choose to be an independent, full-time model currently, I have to work extra hard to fulfil my spot in the industry.
After hydrating, I check my emails and respond accordingly. Then I typically post on schedule for Instagram and let my Instagram and Snapchat followers know by posting a 24-hour story. I usually find some time to grab a healthy snack, like frozen grapes or make gluten free avocado toast with cream cheese or coconut oil, everything bagel seasoning, cherry tomatoes and extra virgin olive oil (soo tasty!)
Then I do skin prep, masks and other beauty routines, pack my model bag and prepare to head out for the shoot. If it’s a non-shoot day, I spend majority of my day applying to castings, booking jobs and putting together wardrobe and concepts for multiple shoots that I creative direct.

If you could time travel, what will you like to witness?
I picture myself in the roaring 20’s, getting dolled up to dip into a speakeasy or glamorous party. I’d tuck myself in a corner somewhere where I could observe people, their behaviors, taking in the moment and experience without being disturbed.

Have you ever been in an embarrassing situation before that is funny now when looking back?
I can’t really think of anything off the top of my head, but I’m a giant klutz so I’m sure there’s plenty of things my poor memory can’t cogitate.

What turns you off on a date?
It’s a big turn off to me when a guy thinks it’s appropriate and/or that we want to hear about their bedroom experiences with their exes or past hook-ups (especially on the first date!) And if you’re going to admit to cheating, most women will run for the hills after hearing that– myself included.

Thank you for taking the time to answer our questions Amber. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”?
To me, sexy is how you present yourself. Having the ability to hold grace, confidence and a strong feminine or masculine energy. Being tasteful in your actions and words, yet ever so alluring and attractive.

Is it even more tough to proceed from dating and into relationship or even sex with an international model and influencer like you who’s almost 23 years old and still a virgin? Your expectations and requirements must be really difficult and hard for men to ever get over that hurdle.
Sometimes I contemplate if my standards are way too high which could play a role on why I’m 22 years old (almost 23) and have never had sex. I actually want to make love for the first time and not just sex to make things even more special. And I know that’s every women’s dream and I want to make that a reality for me. This makes it even more difficult because I’m still a virgin and I’m already super picky. So this makes me even pickier about who may be my first.
I have a set of expectations and requirements just to date me. I also have another set of expectations and requirements just to keep me. And another set of expectations, requirements, and a whole interview process to even have sex with me. Some may think it’s too much, but many think it’s worth it and they try to exceed all of my expectations and requirements. Whom I consider them to be very worthy. I get guys on Instagram and in real life saying how special I am. They label me special because I am the complete package to them – untouched and perfect inside and outside. But they think I’m even more special when they hear I’m still a virgin and that I am very selective. They all praise me for who I am and tell me that they can hardly ever find a woman like me out there who knows her worth and makes herself very expensive.
Many men label me as someone “which men aren’t so much “lucky’”. This means I am very expensive in their eyes where most can never earn and afford me. And I am viewed as even more attractive because guys feel like it’s a chase and a competition to win the prize (which is all of me). And we all know how guys love the chase and going after people and things that aren’t so easy for them to get their hands on. It gives them a thrill and an ego boost for some. But I came across so many guys who absolutely don’t deserve to take my virginity. But whoever I decide to lose my virginity to means that he has met and maybe even exceeded all my standards and expectations I have for him. So I’ll lose my virginity to the person I think deserves it. If it’s not in this lifetime than so be it.
I am very classy and selective and consider myself very special, important, priceless, and valuable that not just anyone will ever have the chance. You have to be very special and worthy that you’ll cherish and worship me like no other 24/7. I rather not experience sex at all than to let someone undeserving inside my sacred temple – this makes me to be perceived as even more valuable and such a high worth. It’s like the saying, you attract what you are. I know I won’t be happy at all if I ever lowered my standards. Which is why I am actually happy and proud to set such a high bar for anyone who comes and tries to date me, get into a relationship with me, or even tries to have sex with me.
Tips To Approach Me
To be honest, I don’t really have a do’s and don’ts list. It just automatically clicks in my head of when I should say “bye”. But I would say for any guy who approaches me to be yourself, be creative to attract my attention, have a sense of humor and make me laugh, and be open and honest.
Don’t use the same pick-up line or treat me the same way like you do with all the other girls you’re trying to pick up. Treat me like I’m different and treat me like a queen and/ or princess that I deserve with respect.
For the don’ts, I would definitely say don’t lie, cheat, be a pervert, and have wondering eyes. I hate liars because that means everything you do and say are all lies. And I don’t tolerate cheaters and wondering eyes because I should be the only one in your eyes and your heart.
What Attracts Me & Expectations Of My Date
I use to be all about appearances and gifts. I remember at a young age where guys surprised me all the time with gifts because they knew it was a way to get into my heart. I would be surprised with roses, candies, and many expensive things. But as I got older (and I’m only 22-year-old haha), I realize there’s way more to just looks and gifts. Gifts only make you happy temporary for that moment. But when there’s no meaning to the gifts or you don’t feel any connection to the person giving you the gift, it sometimes makes the gift worthless.
Also, many good-looking guys may be attractive on the outside, but they have no idea of how to treat a girl. And looks don’t last forever. So I learned that physical appearances and gifts aren’t that important but it’s still a plus for me. But what attracts me the most is someone who’s intelligent, professional, very caring, very attentive, very sweet, very honest, very open, has a sense of humor, meets up to my standards, and I can go on and on because there’s more to the list after completing those layers. Most of all, my expectations is to treat me and spoil me like a princess and a queen.
Dating Turn Offs For Me
For a person like me who’s super picky and has such high standards, I could say, almost every single thing is a turn off. I get turned off so easily it’s crazy. My tolerance is very low. I can go from heart eyes to ice cold eyes with a snap of a finger. That’s why many people call me the ice queen because I am cold hearted and don’t really have any emotion for guys who don’t meet my standards and expectations.
But if I have to list a few turnoffs for me, the main turnoffs would be guys who only care solely on my appearance, think about sex 24/7, liars, cheaters, perverts, and wondering eyes.
Jade Nguyen Tom – It’s not everyday you get to meet the Virgin Queen who is a mixed Chinese and Vietnamese famous influencer and international model. Put all of the beauty, mysteriousness, intriguing, exoticness, innocence, and purity in the world and you get the sexy Jade Nguyen Tom, whose beauty matches her brains and business acumen, running and leading various organizations while being a double major. Constantly, ranked as one of the hottest models internationally, Jade is one beautiful and sexy lady you never want to take your eyes off after just a single glance.
I am a recent college grad who graduated from the University of the Pacific with a double major in Marketing and Management & Human Resources. Many people think I have the beauty (of being mixed Chinese and Vietnamese) because of my past history of competing in pageants (such as Miss California USA, Miss Vietnam Global, Miss Vietnam Northern California, Face of America, etc.) and modeling competitions (such as Maxim Magazine and Maxim Australia *placed 3rd in both competitions*), while being featured in many publishing sites like Famous Birthdays, Omg Asian Babes, and many others.
What many don’t know is that I also have the brains. I was a double major in Marketing and Management & Human Resources while holding three positions in one organization, one position in another organization, and a side job being a content creator which I was able to grow over 160K followers within three years of opening my Instagram accounts. With all of this, I was still able to give back to my community by volunteering. My personal views towards life is to be spontaneous and ambitious. Shoot for your dreams while still having fun along the way. You only have one life so be able to live it to the fullest. I like to live by the line “live like there’s no tomorrow” to push me to do things that are beyond my limits or what I’m afraid to do. The most important thing for me is to make an impact and lasting impressions wherever I go, so people are able to remember me. And I usually successfully accomplish that because many people label me as very mysterious, exotic, and such a wild card. I love to be able to leave that lasting impression that makes people come begging for more.
My Modeling Journey
I actually was approached by a modeling agent at a very young age. I was about five years old when I stole the hearts of visitors at the Disneyland Resort. A modeling agent approached my parents at the theme park giving them their contact information. Unfortunately, we never went forward with the modeling gig. A few years later when I was nine, the second time was at Target (in a city I didn’t live in). A modeling agent happened to be shopping at the same store and spotted me. The agent proceeded to speak with my parents and I about signing with their agency. But then, my parents and I never went through with it because my parents didn’t like me investing my whole life and career into modeling because it wasn’t promising.
Then at the age of 18, I was snapping photos and posting them online where I was selected by PUSH Models, Femme Fetale Media, and many more to rep for their agencies. I continued to have mainstream success throughout the following months – being asked to play in various roles and commercials while also being asked to compete in various pageants such as Miss California USA, Miss Vietnam Global, Miss Vietnam Northern California, Face of America, etc. In 2019, I was ranked 2nd as the Top 10 Models/ Beauty & Makeup / Fashion Influencers in Hong Kong.
I knew I had become an international model at that stage, but I knew for sure when I was 20 years old where I was handpicked by Maxim Magazine to compete in their international competition. Through that, it was confirmed that I was an international model because I had exposure to such a huge audience from all over the world. Just this year, I was also scouted to compete for Maxim Australia which is all the way across the world. So I guess you could say that I have always been in the eye of the modeling industry but I began to be interested in being part of the modeling industry in my late teenage years.
The Transition To Being An Influencer
At the beginning, I separated being an influencer and model. I actually came onto social media and became an influencer because I had an interest in connecting with people and always wondered how public figures and companies built their brand for themselves. So I guess you can say that my business side kicked in where I wanted to learn how to build a brand while also being able to make a lasting impression where people would remember me for who I am and the impact I’ve done.
The modeling aspect actually merged with being an influencer much later. I was afraid that many people would be blinded by my modeling work that they wouldn’t be able to see the real me. Which was why I kept those two separates. After establishing a fan base, I was able to unveil my past, present, and future modeling work. I now use both experiences interchangeably because they both have many similar aspects to the job.
The Hard Work Done Behind The Photos
I try to be as natural as possible. I am not a big fan of photoshop and editing because it takes away the real beauty you were born with. Instead, I take lots of photos like one hundred per setting, so I have a selection to choose from. Sometimes a few photos don’t capture how you actually look like in real life because of the lighting, angles, lens, etc. Also, a fun fact is that I didn’t start wearing makeup until I was 21 years old. I am all about natural beauty and displaying your natural features instead of covering it up. Even now with the makeup, I only wear very minimal – just eyeliner and lipstick – and I am good to go. I just think that makeup actually harms your skin in the long run and that’s why I only wear eyeliner and lipstick.
I think the hard work actually comes from accepting the beauty you were born with and being able to learn how to display it in the most flawless way. Another hard job behind my photos and videos would be to choose which one I want to post when they all look good. I don’t want to spam my fans with photos from the same settings. So I am faced with the issue of choosing the best few photos to post while the rest just sits sadly in my photo gallery.
Do Guys Feel Intimidated To Ask You Out For Dates?
Yes, all the time. Many guys are intimidated by me even before hearing that I am an international model. Sometimes I feel uncomfortable letting people know that I am an international model because of the impression of what they may have of me and it may be perceived as bragging. So I usually lay low about that topic.
I still get many guys who would stare at me from afar no matter where I am, but they still never have the courage to come up to me to strike up a conversation. But it’s the complete opposite on social media, where I have over thousands of guys in my DMs calling me their dream girl, asking me for my number, to go on dates with them, to meet their parents, some labeling me as their girlfriend, and many proposing to me. And I can understand this because people seem to be bolder online than in-person.
But there have been times where you get a brave guy from time to time who would come up to me and ask me out on a date or for drinks. But because I’m the person that I am, I am very picky and usually think that every guy was out of my league because of the high standards I set. Years have passed from that mentality, and I still maintain those high standards.
I have come to understand that not everyone is perfect and that I need to focus instead on someone who makes me happy in every way and is able to put my needs before theirs while treating me like a queen and/or princess. Some may say that I have increased my standards even more while others may say that I grew to understand what I truly want.
End Of Part 1
Jade Nguyen Tom – It’s not everyday you get to meet the Virgin Queen who is a mixed Chinese and Vietnamese famous influencer and international model. Hi there! My name is Sierra Paletta and I’m a NYC based actor, model, and creative. I’m originally from South Jersey and lived there for most of my life besides living in Argentina for some time when I was a kid. I’ve been in NYC for almost seven years now and currently reside in Brooklyn.
Where did your inspiration to be a performer and artist come from?
Ever since I was a kid, I fell in love with performance. I watched American Idol all the time, my mom was really into watching movie musicals, and I was in my first musical when I was 10 years old. I loved playing make believe and getting lost in different worlds and characters excited me. Those seeds planted my dream of becoming an artist and later on I joined my high school choir and performed in all the musicals/plays they had to offer.
As I got older, I also fell in love with the idea of moving to New York City (I lived in suburbia for most of my life) and luckily that fell right into place with my passion for the arts. Living in the city and being surrounded by a variety of art forms allowed me to step into my skin and pursue my passion.
Which is your favorite or most memorable performance so far?
When I was in college, I was in a production of The Laramie Project by Tectonic Theatre Project. We performed in a downtown theatre space called New York Live Arts and the minute I stepped into the space, I teared up. The show itself was a very transformative experience for me. I had always loved fiction and the fantasy side of performing and this show was the opposite: it was a real life story about a horrendous incident that had happened and how it affected the town. In the show I played two characters (one female one male) and at the time it gave me freedom in my identity as genderfluid and made me feel welcome in my own body.
At one point, I gave a monologue on stage by myself to the audience where I did a pelvic thrust amongst other comedic things and it gave me confidence in my role as comedic relief in the play (considering I did a lot of dramatic work throughout college). The whole experience itself was fantastic but the most beautiful thing about the show was being able to share peoples stories and have their voices heard through mine/ours. In this performance, I realized the power of non-fiction material and how it can change lives.
How is a typical day like for you?
Usually I wake up early-ish (anywhere from 8-10am), meditate for 20 minutes either in my bed or in this green velvet chair in my room. I do a daily yoga practice from Yoga with Adriene, make a cup of green tea, eat half a grapefruit (with a teaspoon of sugar) and that’s pretty much the base of my morning.
From there on out, it sprouts into three options: work (my side hustle, serving), hanging at home watching TV/reading/writing, or venturing out into the city and engaging in some activity. My favorite activities at the moment are Lyra classes, archery, practicing stage combat in Central Park with my friends, and whatever exciting new things land in my lap.
What 3 things do you love to do most in the city you live in?
The first one is walking around alone listening to music in Central Park. There is something so classic about escaping into nature while still having echoes of the metropolis all around you. It’s the perfect blend. I grew up surrounded by woods so it feels like home away from home for me.
The second one is going to the MoMA. I used to go a lot when I was in college because it was so close by but it’s another one of those places that feels like home in the city. Visual artists always baffle me and I love looking at paintings and musing and just being surrounded by art. It’s very inspiring and grounding.
The third and last would probably be going out to House of Yes or the Slipper Room with my friends. We’re in different times now because of COVID but those places have changed who I am as a person and made me discover parts of myself that I never knew existed. They also fostered an environment and a community that I didn’t understand I was a part of until I came to the city. In these places, I grew into my most confident self and met people/had experiences I will never forget.
If you could have a super power, what will it be?
The ability to fly. First of all, flying is cool as hell, second I could go anywhere I wanted to in the world. Think about the views! So exciting, I could be on the tops of mountains, buildings, travel a lot. Feels like endless possibilities to me.
Are you more of a morning person or night owl?
Definitely a morning person. I was always that kid at sleepovers that would wake up before everyone else and just kinda let my mind wander for what felt like forever until everyone else woke up. Not much has changed, unless I’m working on/writing something and I can’t stop or I’m out with friends. I’m still that morning person I’ve always been.
What turns you off on a date?
If I don’t have a natural connection with them it’s kind of a bust. I’ve always been a highly sensitive, empathetic person so I’m pretty aware if it’s there or not. It ultimately comes down to the way they treat people; if I get the sense that they are not a generally kind or caring person, that is an immediate turn off.
Thank you for taking the time to answer our questions Sierra. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”?
Sexy is feeling confident in your own skin. Whether that be all natural, full face, naked, fully clothed, everyone has the right circumstances that make them feel proud of their beauty. Seeing burlesque shows in the city taught me a lot about what sexy means and at the end of the day it takes on a different form in everyone.
Once you find what works for you, it’s a matter of being proud of who you are and celebrating that in whatever way you see fit. Wearing lingerie, fake lashes, and a red lip is an easy way in for me 🙂
Hi! I’m Anica Dela Rama. Born and raised in Metro Manila, Philippines.
I’m a flight attendant by profession, a model and aspiring entrepreneur by passion. I am also a social media influencer who loves to share fragments of life interests which includes food, travel, lifestyle, fashion and hobbies.
How is your fashion style like and where do you draw inspiration from?
As for my fashion style, I would say that it’s a “Mix and Match”. I always try to keep up with the trends, I sometime draw inspiration from other influencers, celebrities or other model friends that I know of. I also love to keep it simple, decent yet at the same time, classy and sexy.
Do you follow a beauty regime to look so beautiful?
There’s no specific beauty regime that I actually follow. I just make sure that I have proper hygiene. I clean my face, I eat healthy food, drink collagen and lots of vitamin C. I also keep my face moisturized and protected by a sunscreen whenever I go out. I only wear make up if I have to (I use hypoallergenic cosmetics because of my sensitive skin), then I remove my make up right after my day ends 🙂
Which is the best compliment you have received?
Best compliment, most of the time is whenever my friends tell me that I look younger than my age. When some people are telling me that I’m very talented, that I’m not only “looks” but I also have brains.
What are 3 fun things you like to do in the city you live in?
Since I’m a newbie in this place as I just transferred here a few months ago, due to the pandemic it became limited for me to maximize my activities here.
But I would say that it became a habit for me to go out, buy some food and shop for some groceries.
I love to hang out with my best friend who lives near me, meet some new neighbors, and have a little chat with them. And if there’s ample time we go out, for some pampering and a ladies day out.
The last thing that I love here is that I can relax and stay at home. I can paint, make some poems overlooking in my terrace seeing trees. I just love the “nature vibes” in this place, and I can have my “me-time” peacefully.
Which are your favorite quotes or mottos you like to use for inspiration?
I have lots of favorite quotes in life, but my most favorite of all is that “You don’t have to be good to start. You just need to start.” I’ve been through a lot of challenges and admittedly, I failed at lots of them. But I always keep in mind that if I want to achieve something, I’ll never know the result unless I’ll try doing it. I’ll just take the risk and start…even if I’m not actually good at it.
Would you rather have the power to control minds or teleport?
As a flight attendant, I love travelling. I would do anything just to visit the places that I haven’t been to. If I’ll have the power to teleport, I can definitely do that for sure without breaking my own bank account and wallet haha. If I could just go there in a snap, I’ll bring my love ones with me, take some pictures wearing my new OOTDs, eat their delicacies and learn their culture. I would love to do that everyday.
What do you not get about guys?
What I do not get about guys is their pride and ego. I mean, not all of them are full of pride and ego. I admit that I had my own share of pride when I was in a relationship. It’s just that as per experience, we always end up in an argument because of them not admitting their own mistakes. They don’t share their true feelings because they feel like it’ll show weakness for them as a ‘man’ (and its definitely not a definition of a man).
For me it’ll be a lot easier to understand them if they can also be open about their thoughts and be more compassionate to fix an issue.
Thank you for taking the time to answer our questions Anica. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”?
For me, being sexy is just being you. Be natural. I mean by loving yourself, being happy about who or what u are. Be “confident”, for me that’s very sexy. Regardless of your size, vital statistics, your complexion or flaws. The person’s aura or glow for me is more appealing than their own physique.
For me, fashion is being comfortable on the clothes you are wearing and not by just following the trends. For inspiration I’m more on street wear.
Do you have any hobbies or interests?
My hobbies changes from time to time, now I’m more interested on watching K-dramas plus lately I’ve been really fan-girling to the max over a K-pop boy group named Astro! Yes check them out. Haha!
Which food or cuisine do you love most?
I’ve tried different cuisines but in the end I would still pick Filipino cuisine. Nothing beats Sinigang, Kare Kare and our fresh seafood recipes here in the Philippines!
If you could time travel, where will you like to go and witness?
It’s a bit personal but If I could, I will go way back when my dad was still alive to witness and appreciate more of his love for our family and also his hard work.
What 3 things do you enjoy doing most in the city you live in?
First, I LOVE eating at small restaurants around here. Second, hanging out with my friends because we all live near each other here (of course we can’t hang out too often these days because of COVID) and the third one would probably be visiting the nearby malls to shop for food or other stuff.
Would you rather be completely invisible for one day or be able to fly for one day?
I would rather fly so I could go to different places that I want to go quickly and to appreciate the nature’s beauty up above.
What do you not get about the opposite sex?
I’m not sure if this is the answer to this question. But what I don’t get about the opposite sex is why do they have to be so obsessed with their ego? I’m not generalizing though, but most of them I think strongly value it and sometimes it becomes a big conflict on relationships/friendships.
And lastly, why do some men think that when a woman glams up, it’s about trying to impress them, which is clearly FALSE. We glam up for ourselves only. Sorry boys.
Thank you for taking the time to answer our questions Angela. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”?
Sexy means being confident in your own skin, embracing each and every flaw that you have. Self love and self care is the new sexy for me.
I have Live Streams on Lazada App every Mondays to Friday 7PM and 8:15PM PST also, still working for a shooting schedule on this but I’m casted for a current PH artist music video that will be coming out soon.
My name’s Vincy Cordova. I’m a digital creator and freelance model based in the Philippines. I like to do shoots, hang out with my family and friends, and travel. The beach is my happy place.
What is your fashion style and what inspires you?
I go for a trendy fashion style with a mix of classic pieces, while making sure that comfort is key. I’m into basic pieces, usually going for more neutral-toned outfits, and my style is highly inspired by that “model-off-duty” look.
Which 3 things do you love to do most in the city you live in?
Food, people, and culture. I love ‘lutong-bahay’ meals! Most especially, I love how simple the people are, having the best time as long they’re surrounded by the people they love the most.
Do you follow any beauty regime to look so good?
My favorite skincare is laying on a face mask after a long, tiring day. It makes my skin glowing afterwards. Something about it just feels so soothing and relaxing.
How much of a foodie are you?
I’m not picky when it comes to food. I eat almost everything, from street food to a good samgyupsal!
If you could time travel to change anything, what will it be?
It would probably be the time when there wasn’t a pandemic yet, and everyone could just live their life normally.
Would you rather go to the moon or to mars?
I’d probably go to Mars because it’s just an entire new planet to explore. Plus, it’d be cool to venture around Mars and have my name etched in history.
What is a funny or lame pickup line or attempt a guy has tried on you?
“Keyboard ka ba? Type kasi kita.” Haha 🙁
Thank you for taking the time to answer our questions Vincy. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”?
Being sexy is being confident in who you are, and that includes embracing all your flaws. It is learning how to love yourself, accepting that there is always room for improvement, and most importantly, believing that you can.
I am originally from Los Angeles, CA and I was raised the youngest and the only girl of three in a single mother household. In 2018, I graduated from UC Berkeley where I studied Law and African American Studies. After moving home to Los Angeles in 2019, I began a new profession in the field of education and worked tirelessly in my career as a working fashion model.
My biggest accomplishment has been working hands-on as a teacher with autistic children while pursuing my passion as a model and influencer in the fashion industry. I really enjoy the freedom of expression that fashion allows me and the opportunity to represent indigenous people and minorities around the world.
Do you have any favorite genres of modeling you prefer?
My favorite genres of modeling are usually the ones that challenge my acting skills. I really enjoy high fashion photography because it pushes me to expand a lot more on different characters for photoshoots.
Is there any food or drink you can’t live without?
A food I cannot live without is from Blaze Pizza. I love to build my own pizza with original dough, half pesto sauce, half white cream sauce, shredded mozzarella, parmesan cheese, artichokes, banana peppers, black olives, tomatoes, chopped garlic, fresh basil, green bell peppers, red bell peppers, mushrooms, pineapples, red onions, spinach, olive oil, oregano, salt and a side of cesar salad.
A drink I cannot live without is the pineapple matcha from Starbucks with little ice! It’s so refreshing, if they take it off the menu, I’ll be disappointed.
If you could change one thing about the world, what will it be?
If I could change one thing about the world, it would be for people to view one another as equal and treat each other as such. Of course, everyone is different, but if people were less judgemental and more understanding, the world would be a much better place. I was raised with the saying, “If you don’t have something nice to say, don’t say anything at all”.
Have you been in an embarrassing situation before that is funny now when looking back?
An embarrassing situation looking back happened when I was out and about earlier this week, running some errands. And you guys couldn’t believe what happened to me!
I was pulling out from the dog park with my pet maltese. Before turning right, this man was convinced that he knew me and began walking up to my car to say hello. My window was down and as he walked closer to my car I quickly rolled up my window, locked my doors, gave the fakest wave and smile, then I sped off so fast!
I wasn’t trying to be rude but you guys do not understand the awkwardness in my face at that moment. I could not stop laughing on the freeway going home LOL.
Would you rather be able to taste colors or see smells?
If I had to choose between tasting colors or seeing smells, I would rather be able to taste colors because eating and tasting flavors seems enjoyable to me.
What is the funniest or lamest attempt a guy has tried to know you?
The lamest and funniest thing guys do to try to get to know me is following me on Instagram, then unfollow me, then they follow me again to get my attention.
Thank you for taking the time to answer our questions Wynter. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”?
Thank you for having me! To me, sexy is when you are aware of your own self worth. To be sexy is a mindset of being self motivated, courageous and confident in your inner and outer beauty that God gave you.
