    Hey, thank you very much for this chance. My name is Sharon, I’m 20 and from the Netherlands. I’m studying front-end development and in my free time, I’m in front of the camera.

    When did you get started into modeling and why do you love it?

    I started modeling when I just turned 18, a very good friend of mine was studying photography and needed a model so I decided to help her out. I had an amazing time and my friend said that I was pretty good so I started talking to different photographers who wanted to work with me. Starting with modeling was one of the best decisions I’ve made and I still love every minute of it. It makes me feel sexy and confident about my body.

    Which genres of modeling do you love most?

    I love the more abstract styles of photography. I like to make images that are more than just a half naked woman. I also love working with latex, I have worked with a couple of brands in the past that I am looking forward to work with again. I’ve also been making a lot of sets for Suicide Girls!

    How do you like to spend your weekends and free time?

    I love going to concerts! I am a massive fan of metal and often go to concerts. I feel alive when I feel the drums in my heart. The moment I realised that metal was the music for me was at a festival 5 years ago. We were waiting for the band “Vader” to start their show and everyone started screaming the imperial march. That was the moment that I knew I had found my people.

    Is there any food or drink you don’t ever take?

    I have been a vegetarian for a large part of my life. I stopped eating meat when I was around 14 and it made me feel much better about my life, not needing animals to suffer just so I could eat a piece of meat at dinner.

    If you can be a cartoon or fictional character for real, who will you be?

    I would be mortician Adams. I adore her style and her passion for her husband and her family. She is such a strong woman who inspired me to dress the way I want.

    Which flavor best describes you?

    I guess I would say sour just because I am addicted to sour candy. I could eat that stuff all day long if it wasn’t so unhealthy.

    What is the funniest or awkward attempt a guy has tried to know you?

    I have always found it funny when guys expect me to fall in love with them because they send a picture of their dick. I honestly have never met a girl who enjoyed getting one. Sadly, I also get a lot of those kind of pictures but I just delete them. Also, once a guy bought me a drink and before I even finished it he asked me to come to his place. When I denied him, he got mad.

    To me, sexy is loving your body the way it is. I find a woman who loves her body much sexier than a woman who doesn’t.

    My favorite photo shoot I have done was when I posed for a calendar.

    What do you like to do during your free time?

    During my free time I like visiting new places, taking long walks, reading, and even playing sports.

    Have you been in an embarrassing situation that is funny now when looking back?

    For my first show, I stumbled on a very long dress.

    If you could time travel, where will you go?

    If I could travel in time I would go back a long time, I would like to return to the times of princely carriages and castles.

    What is the lame or funny attempt a guy has tried to know you?

    The most ridiculous attempt they used to conquer me was to make a personal exchange.

    Hi dear readers! I have been a model in Belgium for more than 3 years now. I am almost 22. In fact, everything started in 2014, when I had a small role in a short-film. About 2 years after that, a photographer offered me to do some pictures. But only portraits… It evolved after!

    What do you love about modeling?

    I love creating. I love participating in strong images, or images that take part in what I fight for in my everyday life. For example, I am a feminist who chooses to fight in a specific way: some of my pictures just mean «Look, I do whatever I want with my body, because I am free to do it!». I sometimes receive pictures that are really good in a technical way but do not «speak» to me. It is something really subjective, as everything when it comes to art!

    Is posing on camera easy and have you ever felt nervous?

    Easy… No, it is not. But it is a passion! So many people think it is just sitting and breathing. In fact, posing is hard and must be learnt (if you want to pose).

    Sometimes, when I come back home at the end of the day, I am exhausted, in my mind as in my body. But I feel like I was almost never shy in front of a camera. As far as I remember, I have always wanted to be a model, to have a real career in that. I was mainly stopped by my height. But finally, doing more artistic things is also a good thing !

    I must admit I was a little stressed the first time I shot in full nude. But when the photographer is kind and respects all your limits, it makes you comfortable and allows you to give the best of yourself. I am also sure that the relationship you create with the team has a real impact on the final result.

    Which type of modeling do you like best?

    I think I like everything for different reasons. Commercial shoots are really interesting because you have to consider the universe of the client, so there is always a complete and expert team and we all create something together that is really clean. For artistic shoots, there is usually a smaller team but I have much more freedom in my «acting» performance, and I also like this part of the job. In that case, it is more about making people FEEL.

    Is there any food or drink you can’t live without?

    Scallops, for sure. Yes, I know, it is luxury taste! I am also crazy about sushi and quinoa. As a drink… I would choose iced tea !

    If you could change one thing about the world, what will it be?

    I wish people were more open-minded, and so much more tolerant and kind to each other. Judge less, and sympathize more.

    Have you been in an embarrassing situation that is funny now when you look back?

    It happened recently! I was a model for the Canon Days in Brussels and when I arrived, the organiser said I was going to wear a really particular makeup. I was painted with blue glitter from my hair to my shoulders. I could not take it off at the event, so I had to go back home like that. In the street, I was called, “Hey Avatar!” all along. I find it funny now, but, you know, on that precise moment… Hum.

    What is a funny or lame attempt a guy has tried to get to know you?

    I have messages everyday from pathetic guys. But I also have so many cool ones! One day, a photographer who wanted to shoot had adapted a whole french song called «Pour un flirt» in «Pour un shoot». We never shot, but it made me laugh!

    It’s an attitude that has nothing to do with vulgar. I think I could write a whole book about that! You can be sexy while wearing clothes, even more than being naked sometimes. For me, sexy has to do with sophistication and elegance, even if this is really subjective.

    Often times, being a model, that’s what inspires me the most.

    Later, learning the details of photography started to inspire me in my work as well. It made me understand lighting, aperture, ISO and shutter speed and allowed me to become more knowledgeable in the industry – and thus becoming a better model for my photographers as well.

    Do you have a beauty regime you follow to look so beautiful?

    I never skip on moisturizing and toner. I naturally have drier skin, and moisturizer is my go to for all skin problems.

    How do you like to spend your weekends?

    I spend my weekends with my family. It’s days I spend prepping for the next week – aka groceries, cleaning, laundry. Nothing too fun or exciting.

    Is there any food or drink you don’t take?

    I’m not much of a picky eater. My mom was very strict when it came to food when I was growing up – I tend to eat everything put infront of me.

    I do tend to stay away from cheese though…

    Which was the last movie you watched and was it any good?

    Deadpool 2. Need I say more? Haha

    If you could have a super power, what will it be?

    Teleportation would be my go to super power. Traffic and commute time is the bane of my existence.

    What is a lame or funny attempt a guy has tried to know you?

    Actually believe it or not, I’m pretty intimidating to a lot of people. I don’t normally get guys trying to get to know me haha.

    Which is your most memorable photoshoot experience so far?

    To be honest every photoshoot is a great memory to me. The experiences I gain through every photoshoot contributes to my character building so I will remember all the photoshoots I have with the helper and photographer.

    When did you get started into cosplay?

    I started cosplaying 3 years ago and I totally fell in love and addicted with it. I remember my first cosplay event was a Animangaki as Rory Mercury from GATE. It was really a culture shock for me but I slowly began to like the culture of the events. Up to date it still holds the record for my most pictures taken with me in an event XD! I love Animangaki.

    How do you like to spend your weekends and free time?

    I will normally arrange for photoshoots or go to events during the weekend but whenever I have any free time, I will play Overwatch! Please come carry me in Overwatch you guys!

    Is there any food or drink you don’t ever take?

    I am not an alcoholic person but am quite picky with foods. I love to explore as long as it is not an exotic food and tastes great!

    If you can be a cosplay character for real, who will you be?

    I will say Rory Mercury from Gate! She is forever young and is a badass with great wisdom.

    Which flavor best describes you?

    Milk flavor because you can change into many different flavors with some added touch but still retain the goodness of the milk~ <3

    What is the funniest or awkward attempt a guy has tried to know you?

    During my secondary school, when MSN was still the boom, I had this very first friend friend and classmate that I made from MSN. We often chatted together because he was my only online friend at that time, but one day he sends a long confession with sparkles and sweet content to me, it was very awkward and funny since I never receive anything like that in the past.  Lastly it turns out to be his friend pranking or so he says.  After that he blocked me and it stayed awkward ever since. Not much of a juicy content but it was funny, I was 13. (╯°□°）╯︵ ┻━┻

    Which is your most memorable photoshoot experience so far?

    I think my most memorable one is a shoot where I first got into Boudoir/Lingerie. It was a bit embarrassing but I managed to pull through and achieve a satisfying result.

    What is your fashion style like?

    I like anything comfortable. I mostly wear one-piece dresses or shorts and a t-shirt. I do wear fancier evening dresses to fine dining and other formal events but it’s not too often.

    How do you like to spend your weekends and free time?

    I work. Since I own a business, I spend my free time researching for more information on the market and what else I could do to improve. Otherwise I sleep, eat, and hang with my friends sometimes.

    Is there any food or drink you don’t ever take?

    I’m not too picky with my food and drink. There’s nothing that I absolutely hate and cannot consume, but by choice I try to keep my alcohol intake very limited nowadays, and hardly drink at a party.

    What is the sexiest item in your wardrobe?

    Hmm… I guess you could say either a micro-bikini or a ball gag? (Even though I only use those items for photo-shoot purpose and not for kink).

    If you can be a cartoon character, who will you be?

    I love the images of strong women, so I would definitely want to be Mulan!

    What is the funniest or awkward attempt a guy has tried to know you?

    I think it was when I was in high school. He was really quiet in class and barely ever talked to anyone. I was this active and energetic person. At the end of my Junior year he wrote me a love letter and asked a classmate to pass it to me, to my complete surprise. That might be the first time I’ve gotten one? I had to turn it down though since I was too into childish stuff to be in a relationship.

    For me, “sexy” comes in many forms. Tasteful lingerie and boudoir clothing definitely do spell “sexy” as personal items/accessories but there are more to that. What I find “sexy” also lies in how a person carries themselves. A man is very “sexy” when he offers to hold my hand when I have to walk down the stairs with heels, or pull my chair out before I sit down. A woman can be “sexy” just by her smiling and being happy, caring for those around her.  I definitely think the inner “sexy” is what I connect more with, while the outer “sexy” appearance is what I enjoy looking at.

    Hi, it’s a pleasure for me to be interviewed by SimplySxy. So to begin I was born in Moldova and I came to Italy when I was nine years old. I lived on an island in Tuscany and then I studied in Pisa and now I’m living in Milan.

    What do you love most about being a model?

    Like in every job there are positive and negative aspects but what I love the most is the artistic part, to create something new, something that didn’t exists before. Hoping to do always better. I’m also interested in taking photos, not just posing so this two components help me to do better in each role.

    Do you have a beauty regime to looking so fabulous?

    Ehm, not really no. I just wash my face in the morning and in the evening and I put a moisturizing cream. At least onces a week I do I scrub and a mud mask. These are really simple steps, I don’t use a lot of products or expensive ones but I do pay attention to which products I use because I use only ecological and biological cosmetics for my face and my hair also.

    Are there any guilty pleasures you for food that you can’t live without?

    Let’s start with the fact that I’m a fresh new vegan and I will be vegan for the rest of my life. I didn’t find this choice difficult or suffering because I really believe in what I do. So to come back to your question, there isn’t a specific food, I just love food in general, I love to eat a little bit of everything every time, I like to try every dish possible. Of course I eat sometimes junk food but I try not to. I’ll tell you some foods I love: mango, avocado, pop corn etc..

    Have you ever felt nervous before a photoshoot?

    Yes, sometimes I feel nervous when I don’t know the photographer I’m shooting with. But when I start posing, I relax and every tension is gone.

    Where is your dream holiday destination?

    I don’t have one destination of my dreams. I dream to visit all of the world. I know it’s quite difficult but I can try. Of course one of my top destinations is Paris and I’m going there so I’m very excited. I always dreamed about Japan now that I think about it. I’ve always been fascinated by their world, so different, like a magic place out of the world.

    If you could have a super power, what will it be?

    The superpower that I would like to have is without doubt teleportation. I’m often travelling and it’s a beautiful part of the travel too but I would save a lot of time and money. Imagine being one moment in Milan and the moment after in Japan for example and again in Milan, wonderful.

    How often do you get guys coming up to you to get to know you?

    Not so often as you think I guess. On socials like every day but I can just ignore them, it’s more easy. In real life not so easy. I think that I am used to it not just like a photomodel but like a woman. I’m not a supermodel and I’m not famous so I’m a normal girl in the every day life and I manage with boys like every girl, I kindly say that I’m not interested.

    One thing I don’t like about all this situations is that I love getting to know new people and I try being nice to everybody but maybe someone could misunderstand this kindness with an other type with interest.

    Interesting question, I can only think about one definition of sexy and it’s self confidence, about your body of course but most important is self-confidence of you as a person, knowing your values, your capabilities, appreciate and accept all aspects of you. I know it’s not easy at all but with time we can work on these and get always a better person and sexier in consequence.

    What do you love most about being a model?

    Working with different photographers and seeing what concept they’d have in mind and would like to try with me. I used to do lingerie photoshoots all the time but lately I have been working with other concepts. It is refreshing to see myself in different characters.

    Do you have a beauty regime to looking so fabulous?

    Besides lip balm, nope.  To be fabulous, it has to come from the heart. Sure, any girl can simply put on makeup or a nice dress BUT it is that glow of confidence from within that seals the entire package of looking fabulous, darling. 😉

    Are there any guilty pleasures you for food that you can’t live without?

    Pizza and pasta. I love cream based pasta especially. It’s just so good and brings so much comfort.

    Have you ever felt nervous before a photoshoot?

    It depends on whom I am working with. Luckily for me, the photographers that I have worked with bring a fun energy to shoots and we’ll just have fun working all the time.

    Would you rather have a lifetime supply of heels or dresses?

    Aww I’d wish you had included diamonds into this because then it’d be easy 😛 kidding. Dresses, especially wrap or slip dresses. I can never have enough of those!!

    If you could have a super power, what will it be?

    Easy, teleportation.  It is great because my boyfriend is 10,000km away. It lets me get to him or in fact anywhere in an instant.

    When I was young, I thought that being sexy meant showing more but that didn’t make me feel sexy sexy. It felt like I was trying too hard. Being sexy is more that just showing more. It’s about being smart, confident and comfortable. When you are comfortable, it just exudes a sexy aura.
