    Hello everyone! I am a 24-year old fashion model/Influencer from the beautiful island Penang, Malaysia. Here’s a little-known fact about me. I would sometimes be regarded as a human calculator as I am, quite simply, an expert in arithmetic.

    What inspired you to be a model?

    Blessed with my height, I have been told by a lot of people to join modelling and I love dressing up since I was a kid. The ultimate push was receiving strong support and encouragement by my friends to join a local modelling competition after finishing high school. Since then it kick-started my career within the fashion industry.

    Do you have a beauty regime you follow to look so beautiful?

    I believe the charm of a lady comes along with a healthy beautiful skin. I have a strict bed time routine to make sure my skin is well-hydrated throughout the night. Sleeping masks and paper masks are must haves. Besides as cliché as it sounds, getting a good night sleep is very important to keep the glow and radiance of our complexion.

    Which is your most memorable photoshoot experience so far?

    Photoshooting in Kyoto during winter time! Strolling down the street of Kyoto and experience the rich culture of the old neighborhood with the production team. It felt like a fun vacation with a personal photographer rather than one that is being done professionally for work/editorial purposes.

    Is there any food or drink you don’t take?

    Definitely alfalfa sprouts. I am not a picky eater when it comes to greens but that’s the only one thing which would never appear on my plate.

    Where do you love to shop from?

    I shop from any retail brands or online boutiques as long as they fit my style. However I prefer to buy my pants from shops like Zara and H&M because they would fit me better considering my height.

    If you could have a super power, what will it be?

    The power of super-compassion and long-lasting inner peace. Imagine how you could look at someone who annoyed you and feel a rush of love instead a lash of anger. Set down forever and say goodbye to sadness, worry, anxiety and other negativity… ZEN~~

    What is a lame or funny attempt a guy has tried to know you?

    Once there was this guy who passed me a piece of paper with a list of questions out of the blue while I was studying alone in the library. Examples of questions: What’s your favorite day of the week? What’s your favorite time of the day? What’s your top pick of cuisine? And some other random/ unrelated questions to distract me (I still had no idea what it was about) and I answered them.

    Later he came back and checked the paper. He then looked at me with a smile and said: “Well, are you free on the X day at X time for X cuisine with me?”

    First of all, thank you! I am Malaysian and grew up in Miri, Sarawak, East Malaysia. The interesting part about me is that I am Kayan mixed Kenyah, the indigenous tribe people from Sarawak. Currently, I’m living in England, United Kingdom. I’m a freelance model but most of the time I participate in fashion week and bridal fashion shows.

    I’ve won the 4th runner up of Miss Model of the World Malaysia in 2007. Proud to represent my hometown division and state division as well before competing to national stage. I’ve studied hotel management and I have been working in hospitality industry with hotel, restaurant and oil and gas companies.

    What is your fashion style like?

    I’m a very simple person. I usually go for basic clothing and my favourite colour is black. You can see me wearing short pants and T-shirt or full black outfit.

    Is there any mottos or quotes you live by?

    I believe in achieving dreams so I believe that nothing is impossible! My favourite quote is, “be kind, be brave, know your worth and take no shit.”

    How much of a foodie are you?

    I love food so much! I’m struggling between my love of food and not wanting to get fat. Hahaha!

    Do you have any hobbies or interests?

    I do have skills in designing and photography editing with photoshop. I love travelling as well and I’m into mixed martial art fitness. Besides that, I’m an advanced open water scuba diver with PADI.

    What was the last movie or series you caught and was it any good?

    Currently I’m hooked on Peaky Blinders and Son of Anarchy series on Netflix. Yes, the series is absolutely brilliant!

    If you could learn anything in this world, what will it be?

    That could be about being healthy and mentally strong.

    What turns you off on a date?

    First impression would be personal hygiene by their appearance.

    My full name is Nicole Khoo Jia Hui, and I’m turning 25 on 3rd May 2019. I’m the eldest of four siblings and I was born in Subang Jaya. Currently I live in Shah Alam.     Which is a memorable photoshoot experience you have had so far?

    I would say almost all my shoots are memorable to me because it all happens at different locations, in different outfits and different themes. If I had to choose one most memorable, it would be my first photoshoot as in that time I had no knowledge on modeling.

    Do you have a beauty regime you follow to look so beautiful?

    I’m actually not the best role model for beauty regimes because mine always changes. I sometimes forget to care for my body as well. But the one thing I make sure I do everyday is to stay hydrated.

    What do you enjoy most about modeling?

    I enjoy getting dressed for the photoshoots and trying out new poses each time. I get to explore new ways to pose because of different themes.

    Is there any food or drink you don’t take?

    I eat and drink. Anything as long as it’s not poison or rotten.

    Which was the last movie you watched and was it any good?

    Mary Poppins returns and Master Z the Ip Man legacy,  loved everything about those two movies. Mary Poppins because I’m a musical fanatic/obsessionist with and Master Z because I train in martial arts as well.

    If you could have a super power, what will it be?

    Scarlett Witches (Wanda) from the Avengers.

    What is a lame or funny attempt a guy has tried to know you?

    Pick up lines, using pick up lines in almost every sentence he can think of. Also, following me like a lost puppy.

    Most people have the idea that the word sexy means revealing more parts of their bodies, while it is externally sexy for one to dress more revealing, to me it is more of a person’s character and confidence, their ways of thinking and carrying themselves well that is truly defined as sexy.

    Do you have a beauty regime to looking so fabulous?

    I really like taking care of my body and my appearance, I use a lot of creams, and I do a lot of sports. I’m a dancer and I also love sweating in the gym.

    Are there any guilty pleasures you for food that you can’t live without?

    I follow a very restricted diet, I allow myself a few tricks, but I think I could never give up on sushi and chocolate. I’m a lover of these two delicacies.

    Which is your most memorable or fun photoshoot experience so far?

    I found myself often in particular situations, the most fun was a day of outdoor shots, people passed and a nice gentleman wanted to be part of the photos so much that he asked the photographer for permission.

    Have you been in an embarrassing situation that is funny now when looking back?

    But of course, many times it happened to me, I could not choose one hahah.

    If you could time travel, where will you go?

    In the 50s, I love everything from that era. Music, fashion, art, way of life, really beautiful.

    What do you not get about the opposite sex?

    Determination, it’s something you can only find in yourself.

    Hello, well thank you for featuring me! I am Brigitte, I’m 21 years old and I live in the countryside of the Netherlands. In 2018 I graduated and achieved my Bachelor of Arts.  At the moment I have multiple jobs, I am a freelance model, freelance stylist and designer and also do the PR and marketing for a company. I have a passion for fashion and art. In my spare time I like to drive my horse or meet up with friends. I have also have a lot of other animals, including three aquariums.

    What got you started into modeling?

    I have wanted to be a fashion model for quite a while, I auditioned multiple times and even have my catwalk certificate. Eventually I realized I probably just don’t have what they are looking for in a fashion model at this moment. I still wanted to model so I started doing TFP shoots which was often a great experience and a confidence booster. At the moment, I shoot a lot for Suicide Girls.

    Which is your most memorable or unforgettable photoshoot so far?

    Oh gosh, there are multiple. I think the most memorable shoot for me was with a photographer that was super awkward. He kept pushing me to do literally physically impossible positions and he was really awkward to communicate with. After we were finished he asked me multiple times if I wanted to do another shoot with him but I thanked him kindly. The pictures turned out nice though!

    How will you describe a typical day like for yourself?

    A typical day like me would be waking up around 9, having a panic attack about my day. Then I get my shit together and make breakfast, often a smoothie, I eat plant based. When I’ve finished breakfast I brush my teeth, get ready and take care of my horses. Then I do some meditation, yoga and then a little workout. I usually work behind the computer doing PR and marketing or I take on a design/clothing project.

    After lunch, I often walk my dogs and then I go back to work for a few hours. At around 5 o’clock I lunge my horses (basically make them run), it’s part of their daily exercise. Around 6 I have dinner and then I go back to work.

    At 9 I usually install myself with a glass of  wine in front of the TV or I read a book. I try to go to bed at 11. That would be a typical day for me, I am kind of bored of working at home but I hope to get a new job soon at a clothing store.

    Is there a story you can share behind one of your tattoos?

    Well all of my tattoos have stories. But one of my first tattoos was my half sleeve, inspired by my favorite movie/comic character Wolverine. I have a tattoo of Wolverine and Phoenix because their complicated relationship has always fascinated me. I mean how difficult can a man’s life be? Being in love with the woman who is the most powerful mutant that is also mentally unstable and in a relationship with another man.

    At some point he even kills her because she asked him to because she had become too dangerous. Jeez, that is one sad but beautiful love story. Phoenix also reminds me of myself because I have experienced serious mental problems in the past. Now luckily things are going better, but I wouldn’t wish a psychosis to happen to anyone.

    What have you always wanted to do but have yet to find the time for it?

    I have always wanted to launch my own sustainable fashion brand, which takes a lot of time.

    If you could time travel, where will you go and like to experience or witness?

    I think I would travel to the 70’s or 80’s the music and fashion back then was just amazing! I love glamrock and I am a fan of Queen and David Bowie (and many other’s) but their concerts would be something I would definitely go to.

    What is the funniest or lamest attempt a guy has tried to know you?

    Some guy in the train just started talking about my appearance and suddenly asked for my phone number. I didn’t really want to give it to him but I still had to sit in the same train for 15 minutes, awkward……

    I was originally from China and came to Canada when when I started elementary school. I enjoy painting, crocheting, old movies and bad puns.

    Which is a memorable photoshoot experience you have had so far?

    I once did a photoshoot with a dead octopus that had been defrosted and wrapped around me like a necklace. Surprisingly, it was very clean and didn’t smell at all! The photographer bought it from the local T&T supermarket and might’ve even had it for hot pot after.

    Do you have a beauty regime you follow to look so beautiful?

    No I honestly don’t. I buy drug store cleansers and sometimes even body wash. Maybe I’m just cheap but I think using less products will be better in the long run.

    What do you enjoy most about modeling?

    I’ve always loved art and I genuinely have a lot of fun partaking in photoshoots, playing with creatives ideas and seeing the end results. I also get to meet a lot of cool people.

    What is your favorite food or drink?

    I love Korean BBQ, I could literally have it all day, for breakfast, lunch and dinner. My favourite drink is a green apple martini and I’m a super light weight so a double shot of that will knock me out for the night!

    If you could have a super power, what will it be?

    Persuasion. The ability to convince others to do anything and I would totally use this for good… and maybe just a bit of bad, when it’s necessary.

    What is a lame or funny attempt a guy has tried to know you?

    Lack of effort is a big turn off for me. I don’t really believe in “leagues” and I think the only time someone is out of your league is when you don’t want to enter that league.

    Charisma! As cliche as it sounds, I really do think confidence is very attractive.

    I think fashion is unlimited. These clothes making you look confident and gorgeous is the fashion belonging to you. I like a cool fashion style, so I prefer to wear trousers. For most of the girls, everyone has the impression that they need to be temperament and elegant. But in fact, girls can show themselves handsomely.

    Do you have any favorite quotes you like to use in life?

    I think we have only one life. Just do what you want to do.

    If you miss one, it won’t give you a second chance.

    How will you describe a typical day like for yourself?

    I like to make myself super busy. I do enjoy going out for a whole day and doing lots of things. Now I concentrate on my job only, so mostly, I will arrange lots of jobs in one day. If I’ve got any free time, I would like to date with friends or stay at home for playing games. I think I have a simple life.

    Is there a fashion accessory you can never live without?

    I think earrings are the most important fashion accessory for me because they are close to your face. Especially, the first impression between people is from your face. Hence, it is necessary to wear some useful accessories around your face to increase the impression.

    What have you always wanted to do but have yet to find the time for it?

    I want to learn more languages. Indeed, I admire people who speak many languages. This is a very powerful skill and one thing I always want to learn. Communication is an important way to relate to people. If I can learn more and more languages, I will know different people everywhere.

    If you could meet anyone past or present, who will it be?

    I would like to meet myself in the past. When I was little, I had thought about growing up quickly. When I grew up, I would yearn for the simple self before. Life is really short. I want to go back and grasp the things that were too late or have been lost.

    What will make you cancel a date?

    Usually, I don’t take the initiative to turn off a date, unless there is an emergency.

    Thank you for having me on SimplySxy, the pleasure’s all mine to be featured on here. To sum it up, I was actually born in Missouri, raised in Taipei, and am now living in Southern California! I recently graduated with a Journalism degree from UC Irvine while working at Din Tai Fung, and am now working at a tech and finance firm in the OC.

    Outside of work, you can find me at the gym, at home kicking it with friends, or finding new places to travel to. I’m one who prioritizes people closest to me, so I enjoy spending quality time with them as well. Growing up in a city, I love being on the go and meeting new people, so I do tell people I’m a city girl. Huge skyscrapers and a busy lifestyle definitely excite me!

    How will you describe your fashion style?

    Honestly, my sense of style is beyond simple. You’ll find me in Lululemon leggings, a Nike sports bra and Nike shoes on a daily basis. I gym everyday and feel the most confident and comfortable in athleisure wear, so those are definitely my go-to.

    My daily makeup routine involves three steps: brows, eyeliner, and lashes. While I like to keep everything low-maintenance and simple, I still love dressing up occasionally though!

    Are there any accessories or items in your wardrobe you can’t live without?

    Like what I said above… I don’t think I can live without leggings or my black volleyball spandex during summer. They are definitely the most versatile, flexible, and comfortable items in my wardrobe that I rely on. (I wear leggings to the club or when I go out too!) I do wear a tiny stud necklace 24/7 as a gift from my mom.

    Aside from that, I don’t really wear much. I even told my friends that in the future, a diamond ring isn’t really necessary either, I’d be perfectly fine with a band that fits in with my active lifestyle!

    Do you have any favorite quotes you like to use in life?

    Not necessarily quotes, but values that I hold close to me in whatever I do and however I do it. I believe in having respect, having the right attitude, to be humble, and to be loyal. Or if anything, I go with Nike’s ideology: just do it.

    What hobbies or interests are you into?

    I love exercising. I grew up playing sports so I implemented that into my lifestyle. I swim during summer (full on with goggles and everything), play volleyball, and gym. On the other side of the spectrum, though, I also grew up playing piano, so I’d play a piece I want to learn over and over again until I’ve perfected it. I also like people-watching while strolling around in a city, or enjoying a good cup of coffee on a rainy day.

    Which is your most memorable travel experience so far?

    I’ve had the luxury to travel quite a bit; but two of my favorite places would be Amsterdam, the Netherlands, and Vienna, Austria. They are the embodiment of hip and elegance. There’s so much history and stories inside every street and there’s so much to see and feel; I absolutely loved it and would move there temporarily if I could. It’s places and experiences like that that drives me to explore more and to go out of my comfort zone.

    Have you been in an embarrassing situation before that is funny now when looking back?

    I honestly have hundreds of embarrassing moments but in this case: I was younger and didn’t know what a word meant. I was called up on stage to answer a question in front of the entire school, and ended up calling my teacher ‘bimbo’ in front of the ENTIRE school. Luckily, I got away and the teachers ended up laughing their heads off. Close call.

    What turns you off on a date?

    I think bad dates usually comes down to compilations of incompatibilities, but there’s two main things.

    1. Bragging: I’m a pretty observant person, so I’ll notice traits and details myself or through time, there’s no need to brag.

    2. Bad hygiene: this is pretty self-explanatory, but taking good care of yourself is more telling than people think.

    What is your proudest achievement so far?

    My proudest achievement so far is I’ve recently just graduated from De La Salle University. Another is that I’m a plus size model. I model for Natasha and I’m proud of myself for stepping out of my comfort zone and going the extra mile to love myself a little more, and at the same time encourage people to do the same and be confident in their own skin.

    How will you describe a typical day like for yourself?

    A typical day for me is waking up, do some errands for the day. Workout is a must. Hang around the house, bond with my family and my dogs. Sometimes I go out with my friends but most of the time, I stay home and watch Netflix.

    Is there a food or drink you can never live without?

    WATER. Definitely! Thai cuisine is my faaaavorite. I cannot live without Japanese food, that’s for sure. I love onion rings, and anything salted egg is amazing!

    What have you always wanted to do but have yet to find the time for it?

    I have yet to find time for work. After the holidays, I’m definitely gonna start applying and try to figure out what I really want to do. I’m transitioning from being a bum to the real world so it’s gonna be very challenging for me but at the same time exciting!

    If you could time travel, where will you go and like to experience or witness?

    I would really like to experience/witness the time of conquerors. Like England vs Scotland etc. Treaties being made and wars being fought. I’d also like to witness the time of Jesus.

    What turns you off on a date?

    Sadly, I’ve never been on a date. *Awwwww* LOL! But I think a boring personality would turn me off the most. And if he’s not a gentleman.

    Sexy is the confidence inside of you that just can’t be contained! You gotta feel sexy in order to be sexy. You gotta believe that you are! On top of it all, you just gotta do YOU. YOU are sexy. CURVY is sexy. CONFIDENCE is sexy. WE are just simply sexy.

    When and how did your inspiration to go into acting start?

    I watched a lot of spectacular Chinese performances growing up as a kid. I performed in my first play when I was nine and I became addicted to the craft ever since.

    Which is your most memorable acting experience so far?

    My most memorable acting experience would have to be producing and performing in a short film that was made in 48 hours. It was one of the most insane experiences I’ve ever had. I cried four times after we submitted the final product. It was so emotional and stressful, haha. We went on to receive the award for Best Director. Our short film, May Flowers, is now circulating in film festivals.

    Can you describe a typical day for yourself?

    Yes, every day is different. Some days are super chill and some days are jam packed with auditions, meetings, photoshoots and my side jobs. However, I do have the same morning and bedtime routine. I give myself an hour in the morning to do my rituals, prayers, and affirmations to set my intentions for the day. In the evening before bed, I do a meditation or I listen to positive affirmations to ease myself into a healthy and peaceful sleep.

    Do you have any other hobbies?

    I love yoga, meditating, manifesting, and adding to my vision board!

    Are there any quotes or mottos you like to use in life?

    This year, I’m focusing on raising my quality of life by being present and fulfilled with the underrated fact that I am alive and healthy. I practice having an equanimous mind.

    If you could have a super power, what will it be?

    To fly.

    What do you not get about guys?

    I believe this is a sexist question because there are tons of things that I do not get about certain people in general. All I know is that my man is out there and I can’t wait to meet him!

    To me, sexy means being authentically yourself without the hidden agenda of pleasing other people or trying to get more attention. It’s about being freely expressed and not losing balance when people’s judgements come at you.
