What does the gorgeous model Angeline Chow do to keep fit and look hot in every photo? We talk to her on what she sees in a guy and the one pickup line that has made her cringe.

Hi Angeline, thank you very much for your time taken to answer our questions on SimplySxy.  Can you share with our readers a little about yourself and where you’re from?

I am 23 years old and was born and raised in Los Angeles California but my family is from Taiwan. I just recently graduated college and am a huge animal lover and foodie.

Where did you interest in modeling come from and start?

I think what really peaked my interest in modeling was being able to play different roles and expressing myself physically. You can be whoever you want in front of the camera and I found that aspect particularly alluring. I had many friends who were photographers and they took the most amazing pictures of people. It is absolutely amazing what you can capture on camera, especially in the unposed/candid shots. To be honest, I think those types of pictures are the most beautiful.

How will you describe your fashion style?

In one word, casual. I wish I could say I was a fashionista and that I knew how to style myself, but I usually just pick comfort and versatility because I’m often running around all day. Don’t get me wrong, I love and appreciate fashion, but on an everyday basis, I love to be in my most comfy sweats and a tee.

You have many fabulous photos of food posts on your Instagram. What is your secret to having that amazing body even with all these delicious pleasures?

Blood, sweat and tears at the gym! Hahaha, I love food and I know this sounds silly but most people eat to live, I eat for pleasure. Food makes me happy and I love cooking. Also, I was unfortunately not blessed with the dominant skinny asian gene so I try to bust my bum at the gym to try and keep things proportionate. I am also a big fan of yoga and hiking, so that also helps me stay where I need to be!

Is there any interesting story behind one of your tattoos which you could share?

I think all of my tattoos are accompanied by some sort of story, which is probably what prompted me to get them in the first place…but I think the funniest story is the first tattoo I got. I think I was around 15 or 16, and I remember always hearing from people, “Get something you won’t regret later on, something that will never change.” So being the genius 15/16 year old, I had an “aha” moment was like, that’s easy! I’m going to get my name tattooed on myself, because that’s something that will never change. Looking back now, 6 years later, I laugh because I have a permanent name tag right above my left butt cheek. I always joke around with people and say, if I ever go missing, at least my body will be easy to identify! I have a laugh about it now but I honestly don’t regret it even in the slightest because I remember that time in my life when I was carefree and young. It serves as a memory, as do all of my tattoos. I have a philosophy of it’s really not what tattoo you get, but the memories that accompanies it when you look at it 5, 10, 20 years down the line.

Do you feel more comfortable in a bikini or lingerie?   

Comfort wise, I think bikini for sure. I often shy away from taking modeling pictures in both bikinis and lingerie but I can definitely say, although I feel more comfortable in a bikini, I feel a lot sexier in lingerie. Wearing lingerie under my regular clothes on random days definitely gives me a boost of confidence and I feel just a bit sexier because I have it on, it’s kind of like my naughty little secret that no one knows about!

What can a guy do to catch your attention?

I look for four things: if they have a nice smile, are genuine, are kind, and can make me laugh. If they have those four things, they’ve got my attention. I’m a pretty silly person and I like to spend time with like-minded people who like to laugh and have a good time. I can be attracted to just about anyone who has these four aspects. When I say, “nice smile,” I don’t necessarily mean just aesthetically. I think this a person’s smile brightens their whole face so even if their teeth aren’t perfect, I don’t mind, as long as it’s genuine. I find kindness the sexiest trait on a man. Oh, and I am a positive and optimistic person so I prefer to surround myself with positivity and positive people. No negativity!

Lastly, I’ve got to say this: if a man can also cook me a good meal, they’re head and shoulders above the rest already.

Have you ever experienced a pickup line which made you cringe?

You know what, I think I take pickup lines very lightheartedly and I’ve yet to hear one that has made me cringe. Even the corniest or dirtiest of lines, I find hilarious. The last one I heard, I almost spat my drink out from laughing. It was something along the lines of… “Sit on my face and let me eat my way to your heart.” Pick-up lines are known for their frivolity, so to take it as anything other than that is taking the whole thing too seriously.

It’s been a great pleasure to have you on SimplySxy, Angeline. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”? 

Sexy to me, is a humble confidence. Being sexy is being confident in one’s skin, but there is a thin line between being confident and being cocky and cockiness is NOT sexy. I think that’s why humility plays an important role as well. I think anyone can be sexy, and anyone can feel sexy, as long as they are confident and humble. Often times, being ‘sexy’ is associated with the only the physical but I disagree. Sexiness exudes from the inside, out.
