    What is your proudest achievement so far?

    Building my brand Not Another Blonde to what it is today.

    Where did the inspiration to start your business come from?

    Feeling uneasy at the thought of working for someone else for the rest of my life… or I guess that’s what my motivation is now. I started Not Another Blonde because it was my dream. I had (and still do have) a passion in me that hasn’t been fulfilled doing anything else and that feeling is my driving force on my darkest days as corny as that sounds.

    Do you have any favorite motto or quotes you like to use?

    Can you describe a typical day like for yourself?

    Wake up, work out, hydrate, meditate, gratitude journal, protein smoothie, emails, and then I work on my tasks for the day. Each day is different and I only work on things that are going to  make everything else easier for myself later. I also only work on things I can work on. I outsource “menial” tasks like social media scheduling and cold emailing to my team.

    Which was the last movie you caught and was it any good?

    The Hitman’s Bodyguard and it was pretty good! Not an award winner or anything, but it was cute, funny, and had a good message. I love Ryan Reynolds.

    If you could change one thing about the world, what will it be?

    How we treat it. Deforestation, ocean pollution, air pollution, lack of recycling, etc. Leonardo DiCaprio has a great message and has been doing great things to bring awareness to these issues and I stand behind him in that respect. I try to show my followers it’s cool to be cool to the environment in hopes it will inspire them to do the same.

    What do you not get about guys?

    Nothing? I feel like they’re pretty easy to read and simple minded… kidding about that last part. It’s the girls I have a problem understanding!

    What is your proudest achievement so far?

    My proudest achievement is that many of my fans are not aware that I am a single mom to a two year old, my daughter is by far my proudest achievement in life. I don’t even know what life was before her. 🙂

    How did you get started into modeling?

    I attended a Fashion Institute, FIDM. My degree was in Visual Communications but many of my peers were fashion designers who would choose me to model their designs. I became really passionate about it and I’ve been modeling ever since.

    Do you have a very strict fitness regime?

    I enjoy fitness and staying in shape but everything in life is in moderation. 🙂 I go to the gym about two, sometimes three times a week but If I feel like eating a big fat juicy burger and fries over a kale salad, nobody is going to stop me.

    Which is the best compliment you have received?

    That’s a hard one, all compliments are the best! GUYS! Fact of life, every girl enjoys them and wants them!

    What 3 things do you love most about LA?

    The three things I love most about LA is the traffic, parking enforcement, and downtown late at night. Just kidding, haha! I love how you can always be in a new and exciting environment especially in my industry, I meet people from all parts of the world, and the freedom to just be creative and be YOU. LA is surrounded with beautiful talent and opportunity.

    If you could have a superpower, which will it be?

    My superpower would be to fly, I hate the traffic with cars and I travel once a month by plane. I am not the most patient being so I think flying would not only solve a lot of problems but I could travel more without breaking the bank. 😉

    What is the funniest or lamest attempt a guy has tried to know you?

    Wow, um, messaged me everyday for like 10 years now and refuses to stop. I would classify it as lame, not funny.

    What is your proudest achievement so far?

    My proudest achievement definitely will be meeting friends that I can actually rely on! Because people come and go, what are the chances you can meet a real one who will stay with you through thick and thin? I always believe that it is better to have a few true friends than a large group of fake ones 🙂

    Which is the best compliment you have received?

    I love every compliment I received. Especially being recognised and complimented for those small things that I do where not much people will notice.

    Do you have any hobbies?

    I grew up loving art and singing (just bathroom singer er hem hahahaah). However art is too time consuming and I rarely have time for it now… but I still love spilling my creativity juice nevertheless!!

    Is there a food or drink you can’t live without?

    Oh no this is tough, I have too much favourites. But if I have to choose one, it will be stuff crust Hawaiian pizza; who can resist all those cheese that comes oozing out in just a bite haha, I just made myself hungry. And for drinks, I guess it will be bubble tea. Hahaaha I love it.

    Are you more of a morning person or night owl?

    Definitely a night owl! Let me tell you a secret, I can sleep until late noon if there isn’t any alarm or events.

    If you could have a superpower, which will it be?

    I always wish I have the ability to turn invisible. Imagine all the rules you can break and not get caught!

    What is the funniest or lamest attempt a guy has tried to know you?

    The lamest pick up line I received was a text on Insta saying, “Santa told me to text you, because he told me that is my present this year, every year.” and it wasn’t even Christmas!

    How will you describe your fashion style?

    Honestly, I have so many different styles that I would just say that my style basically depends on my mood.  One day I would feel sporty/street style/tomboy and another day I would feel girly.  But most days I dress up casual and basic such as a cropped tank top and high waisted jeans with some boots or sneakers.

    Which beauty products are a must have in your collection?

    One of my favorites is the Maybelline Stiletto Liquid Eyeliner!  In my opinion, it’s the easiest eyeliner to get a winged liner.  Plus, the color is the blackest black which I love!

    Do you have any guilty pleasures for food?

    OMG…yes! I have so many but my ultimate favorite is the Flamin’ Hot Cheetos.

    Have you been in an embarrassing situation that is funny now?

    Oh for sure.  One time I was walking with my mom and I thought one girl waved at me (a stranger) and so I waved back thinking that she knew me from somewhere I knew her and ends up she was waving at the person behind me!  They were laughing and I felt so embarrassed!

    If you had the opportunity to learn anything in this world, what will it be?

    I would love to learn about different cultures all over the world!  I would actually travel to different countries and meet up with the locals to learn their culture and lifestyle.  That would be amazing!

    Which reality TV show best suits your skills to win it?

    One of my favorite reality TV show would be Keeping Up With The Kardashians. I know, don’t hate me but I just love how everyone just sticks together, solve problems and be loyal and honest to each other.  I think it’s one of the best things to do to get along with people whether friends, strangers or business.

    What is the funniest or lamest attempt a guy has tried to know you?

    One guy asked me to become his personal ‘pet’ and that he would pay me to live abroad with him because he was in the military.  It was more creepy than funny or lame.  But most guys would just send me puns or jokes haha.

    Where did you get the inspiration to become a model?

    It’s a bit of a long story so to make it short, I was approached by a pinup model at my very first job when I was 16. She suggested I should give it a shot and explained to me how I would go about getting started. A few years later when I turned 18, I decided to go for it!

    Which is the best compliment you have received?

    I’ve actually been told recently that my smile reminded this person of Selena Quintanilla! That was a huge compliment to me!

    What are 3 things you absolutely adore about Las Vegas?

    Well for one, I love that I get to meet people from all walks of life, it’s such a diverse city and I have met some pretty amazing people. Second, Vegas is truly the city that never sleeps, everything is always open and it’s pretty convenient. Lastly, the city is like a jewel in the desert, the strip is very beautiful, especially at night.

    If you could collaborate with anyone past or present, who will it be?

    There’s so many photographers I’d love to work with! But to just name one off the top of my head I’ll go with celebrity photographer Brendan Forbes!

    Is there something you have always wanted to do or learn but haven’t had the time?

    I wished I had the time to try that hot new trapeze yoga craze, but I’m not flexible! It looks like it would be a lot of fun though.

    Do you have any favorite quotes or motto you like to use?

    One I’ve found myself using a lot lately is, “I do what I can!”

    What is the lamest attempt a guy has tried to know you?

    Some guy saw me at my doctor’s appointment and decided to come to my job the next day to use that as an ice breaker. It didn’t work! It was actually pretty creepy.

    What is your fashion style like?

    It is always difficult to give a label to my personal style but if I would have to find three words, I would use feminine, casual and chic.  Not that colorfully – but I love playing with colors! Also love to share contents about the latest fashion trends and create different fashion looks! There are different fashion styles which I keep changing according to the latest trends or just according to my mood at the moment!

    Do you have a beauty regime you follow strictly?

    I have a beauty regime but I don’t necessarily follow it strictly! One of the most important things while following a daily beauty regime is that we should take care of our entire body and not just our face. My skin care routine consists of cleansing, toning and moisturizing along with weekly exfoliation!

    Which accessories are a must have in your wardrobe?

    A nice bag to complete every outfit.

    A good watch ( I guess it actually helps make any look seem more elevated and seamless!).

    Scarves to add some colours or patterns to every look.

    And sunglasses. I believe that different sunglasses will give you different looks!

    Have you been in an embarrassing situation that is funny now?

    It was one of my first job interviews in the UK and I remember my interviewer asked for my documents. I was rifling though my handbag and ..taah daah, out drops a tampon, starting to roll away. Ahhaha it’s been so embarrassing and I couldn’t even pretend it wasn’t mine! Argh!

    If you had the opportunity to learn anything in this world, what will it be?

    How to meditate! I’m always on the move and it’s important to teach myself how to make a pause!

    Would you rather go bungee jumping or sky diving?

    I rather go bungee jumping! It’s something I will do 100%.

    What turns you off on a date?

    A huge turn off for me is men talking about himself too much or being set about his body, muscles and gym.

    How did your interest in beauty and fashion start?

    I always loved beauty and fashion since I was a kid, and it grows even more when I was a teenager, but I still couldn’t share my ideas or thoughts back then. Then, after graduate from University, there’s a lot of social media platform showing up, I feel so grateful for that and use them to share my passion that has long been buried.

    What inspired you to start Heels and Beyond, and why the name?

    It all began from when I was sharing my daily outfit pictures on social media, when the “ootd” phenomenon was started. What I wore that day, I will capture and share it on my social media (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter). But, as time goes by, I feel like it’s not enough, you know, I feel like I needed a bigger platform than these. So, I started my blog, Heels and Beyond in 2014 which is dedicated to bring any inspiration look whether it’s casual, glamour, party or formal.

    The name of “Heels and Beyond” was actually because I love to wear heels a lot, and because it used to be a fashion blog, I thought people will get the message directly from the “Heels” word. And for the “Beyond” I wanted to emphasize that it’s not limited to just fashion, I also want to share a little bit about what I experience and learn. Basically, it represent a girl’s world which is infinite and endless to many things.

    A year later after I published it, I started to receive a lot of offer for collaboration and invitations to many important events in Bali. The requests also came a lot from beauty and lifestyle brands so I expanded my blog field/categories to fashion, beauty and lifestyle blog.

    How will you describe your fashion style?

    Sophisticated, sexy and constantly evolving. I always love a style that makes a statement, especially when it accentuates a woman’s body, that embraces my feminine side. Sexy yet still classy, and constantly evolving means you’re ready to change and open to new trends. What’s most important to me above all is I stay true to be myself.

    Have you witnessed a fashion disaster before?

    Yes, I have. But I think style is also a preference of each individual, as long as you comfortable with it, just go for it.

    Is there something you’ve always wanted to do but haven’t had the time to do so?

    I really want to work on my YouTube channel, but I haven’t had time because I’m so overwhelmed with my Instagram work right now.

    If you could collaborate with anyone past or present, who will it be?

    I always adore Olivier Rousteing’s Balmain design, it will be such a dream come true if I could collaborate with him. And also Michelle Phan, she’s such a big influence and inspiration in my life.

    What do you not get about guys?

    Their selective hearing. They have some issues with listening unless it’s some sensitive topic, they would listen and give full attention to you.

    Hi! My (full) name is Tey Cindy, something I always get asked twice.

    I am the creator of my website, Cin City, but I like to think of myself as a ‘lifestylist’. Since 2005, I have been writing travelogues, guides, and creating content.     I am from a town so small, you most likely don’t even know it exists. But I am proud of that because it taught me “it is not where you come from but how you shape yourself while chasing your dreams, to fit into the world you want to live in”.

    What is your proudest achievement so far?

    Usually I’d say the amazing sponsored trips I received or having my blog featured in the media, but really, it is becoming the person I am today.

    For having a stand in what I believe in, doing my best to earn what I yearn, and fighting for what makes me happy. Mistakes teaches a woman, but lessons make a woman; who is wiser and stronger than yesterday.

    Building that confidence has helped me live a very loved and fulfilled life, which I am very proud of.

    Do you have any personal quotes that motivate you regularly?

    Whenever I fail or feel sluggish, a simple “I can do anything I put my mind to” does it for me. I think it works because I truly believe I can; otherwise as a realist, I won’t aim for it at the first place!

    Stealing a quote from my best friend, “It takes wisdom to make it work”. So get creative, work smart, not just hard.

    Should one day all else fails, live to see more of the world and widen your mind. Then find a cause you really believe in and be part of a supporting community.

    How is a typical day like for you?

    My routine changes, as I am always finding ways to make it suit my lifestyle better.

    I start my morning with what I want to last throughout the day – I exercise to calibrate my posture and am currently taking on the 100-squats-for-30-days challenge. Then I’d listen to Spanish lesson podcasts while clearing away any house chores, before having a good shower as a little reward of the day.

    After brunch I start editing (photos / videos), writing, posting on social media, reply emails and do freelance work. For stress relief, I play with my cat Cinga. This whole chunk takes about 6 hours of my day.

    I am a domestic person by nature. Most days around 6 p.m., I’ll start cooking a nice dinner and end the evening by spending quality time with my husband or myself with a book or Pinterest.

    Is there a place you’ve always wanted to travel but haven’t found the time yet?

    There are so many! If I had to pick one, it’d be Mongolia.

    Which food or drink can you live without?

    Margarine. Everyone should be educated about the disadvantages of this harmful, high trans fat product.

    If you could be a cartoon character, who will you be?

    Sailormoon! Isn’t it such a girl’s fantasy to have a magic ruby pen, long gold locks and a mystery gentleman with red roses to save the day with?

    What is the funniest or lamest attempt a guy has tried to know you?

    I was walking along the street in Singapore, when a guy jumped out in front of me and asked if he could buy me a drink some time. I told him I am married and his response was “I’m not looking for a wife. Can I have your number?” I was like . . . “NO!”

    The definition of “sexy” for men and women differs slightly to me.

    I find a woman who: is confident in taking control of her own body, understands the importance of loving herself, and knows how to have fun yet owns strong values, very sexy.

    A sexy man to me is a person who reads a lot, is experienced in life, grounded, fit, and most importantly loyal. Because can you hold high regards for a sexy man who is unfaithful?

    Yes, so many actually. But if I really have to choose I would say Louis Vuitton because the new Spring/Summer 2018 collection is definitely my favourite at this moment.

    Watches, bracelets and bags! Can’t leave the house without at least two of them.

    How much of a party animal are you?

    Not much. I tend to become one when I am already out. So, let’s say if my friends invited me for a party I would probably suggest something else but if I end up going I won’t be coming back any time soon.

    Would you rather be able to fly or breathe underwater?

    I would rather fly.  I am a little scared of the ocean and what fun would be to just breathe under a swimming pool.

    Where is your dream holiday destination?

    Cancun, Mexico. It’s just beautiful there. The beaches, the weather, food….

    Is there something you don’t get about guys?

    When girls say “I’m fine” and the guy believes it. Clearly the girl is not fine! How haven’t they figured this yet?

    Where do you get your fashion inspiration from?

    Oh my gosh, everywhere!  I used to troll all the fashion mags, but I don’t think I’ve flipped one open in years.  Momming keeps you busy!! Now I am inspired by what I see on the street, what my kids are into at the moment, what I might see down the cereal isle; there is so much inspiration to be found everywhere you look!

    What misconceptions do you usually hear about Influencers?

    We’re just in it for the free clothes.

    Which is the best compliment you have received?

    You’re a good mom it has nothing to do with fashion, but juggling life in general always has me feeling like I’m failing at everything, so it always means most to hear that I’m not totally sucking at my most important job.

    Do you have any guilty pleasures or indulgences for food?

    Um, coffee, sugar, candy, all of it!! I could live on lattes and m&ms. I eat pretty clean otherwise but for my sanity, I keep jars of chocolate candy all over the house….and I don’t feel guilty about it at all.

    Would you rather have the ability to talk to animals or read their minds?

    Eh, I’m more interested in reading the minds of people.  Animals don’t really seem that complex.

    How much of a party animal are you?

    Hahahaha, hmmmmmmm, pre kids?  Let’s just say thank goodness Snapchat wasn’t a thing. Now? Maybe once a year?  And it takes me like a month to recover.  I’m honestly embarrassed by how lame I’ve become.

    Is there something you don’t get about guys? 

    How simple they actually are.  Like, it’s totally not fair that they only have one thing on their mind.  I have files and folders and baskets opening up all over the place up there.
