Hello, my name is Hinano. I am a full Japanese born in Hawaii. I moved to Japan/Tokyo when I was 15 to pursue my dreams of becoming an artist. I’ve always been dancing and singing since I was very little so I’ve always liked performing on stage.
My agency gave me an idea of becoming a DJ so currently, I’ve been performing at clubs in Tokyo. I’m also a social influencer and Instagram pretty much helped me with my future careers.
Was being a DJ and singer something you’ve always wanted to when growing up?
Yes, since I was five years old.
What is a memorable event you have performed at before?
I think my first DJ debut was at Sel Octagon.
How is your fashion style like and where do you take inspiration from?
My style is always different throughout the day. I get my fashion inspiration from my mom because she used to own her clothing store in Hawaii and she always helps me choose my outfits haha.
Which is your proudest achievement so far?
I used to be a very shy girl, so for me to reach 150k on Instagram is like mind blowing. I was also able to meet really cool celebrities and some I also managed to work with.
If you could learn anything in this world, what will it be?
I’m still 22 so I’ve still got a lot to learn but I wanna live a life with no regrets and achieve as many goals that I can.
Which flavor best describes you?
Hmm hard question, maybe vanilla, since I have a strong taste in people and I’m always aware who I can trust and all. I also go well with other people who are really different to me, if that makes sense at all haha.
What turns you off on a date?
Hmm maybe constantly bragging or showing off. I like guys who are confident but too much is a no for me.
Thank you for taking the time to answer our questions Hinano. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”?
Having self confidence; you don’t need to be perfect to have self confidence and also, having passion into something you love doing!
Thank you SimplySxy for reaching out to me. I’m a DJ from Ukraine. I was in China for a very long time. Now, I’m more in the Arab Emirates.
What inspired you to be a DJ and was it something you’ve always wanted to be?
It happened naturally. I was a booker manager of Ukrainian DJs and I had the opportunity to learn this craft.
Then I started to play and did not notice how I turned into a professional DJ.
What is your DJ style like and which kind of music are you into?
Now I play house, progressive, tech house, and ethnic deep. I love techno very much.
But I like to listen more than I play. I should try more of myself in this style. In China, I had huge experience in EDM styles.
How do you like to spend your free time if you are not DJ-ing?
I’m an active and versatile person! I’m looking for mood classes! Today I can spend a day with my family and tomorrow, I can go to a party with my friends and, the day after tomorrow I will go to the museum alone. I love fashion, sports, art. And this is not even the limit.
If you could perform anywhere or at any event in the world, which will it be?
Of course I would like to be stimulated to more professional performances and venues. It doesn’t even matter the place! There is a very cool atmosphere in simple places.
TOMORROWLAND, ULTRA MUSIC FESTIVAL
These festivals are an indicator of an artist’s popularity if you get there once! Of course I would like that!
Which 3 fun things do you love to do in your city?
What do you mean? Eat, sleep and sports.
Would you rather have the ability to teleport or read minds?
Teleport!!!!!
What turns you off on a date?
I will adhere to the saying…they are greeted by clothes, but escorted by the mind.
Thank you for taking the time to answer our questions DJ Nicole. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”?
It is naturalness and grace! This is a very neat and subtle hint!

What tips can you give to someone who is aspiring to be a DJ like yourself?
Listen to many types of music, not only of the genre of your favorites. Try to let yourself be more different in your comfort zone. Don’t be shy to show off what you own.
Emancipate your thinking in a bold way.
What turns you off on a date?
Disrespecting others, such as service staff and waiters. Being handsy and it makes me feel uncomfortable.
Thank you for taking the time to answer our questions DJ Yako. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”?
In my opinion, sexy is about the attitude. Strong, brave, funny, genuine, standing on their own feet are very sexy in a woman. It’s not only about the outfit and outlook.
Hi to all SimplySxy readers. I’m Jelly. I was a radio DJ and TV host in the Philippines. I moved here to Toronto 4 years ago and now I am a DJ for Wish USA. Broadcasting remotely, of course, every weekend, my show there is called “Saturday Night with Jellykiss”. I also have a YouTube channel called “The Jellykiss Show” which showcases diverse talents here in Toronto and around the world and some travel vlogs, too, if I’m lucky!
What inspires your fashion style and where do you love to shop from?
I love dressing up! I love fashion! It’s one of my favourite ways of expressing my creativity. It’s just very flexible, no rules, no limitations…just like me! 🙂
I’m a fan of mixing and matching timeless pieces with today’s fashion. I don’t have a fashion icon but I take my fashion cues from pretty much everywhere. Favourite TV shows, musicians, runways, movies, influencers, TikTokers, K-pop, my mom… I take it all in and bring my own twist to it.
For unique and timeless pieces, I would go thrifting sometimes and buy from local stores. And to keep an updated wardrobe, you can never go wrong with Zara and H&M. They have pieces that can make you look fabulous without breaking the bank.
How did you get started into being a DJ?
I actually started as a newscaster back in 2008 (whew! that was a loooong time ago! LOL!). Then I became a DJ a year later for the same radio station. I was known as DJ Alex then and for the next 6 years.
In 2014, I had the most humbling opportunity to be a one of the pioneer DJs for WISH 107.5 in Manila – the most innovative radio station in the Philippines. Through the Wish Bus, I was able to travel to different places on the metro and in some nearby provinces. Bringing music and world-class entertainment closer to them and at the same time, giving Original Filipino Music to shine once again.
Can you tell us more about The Jellykiss Show and what content you provide?
My main goal for the Jellykiss Show is to showcase cultural diversity. It’s just a sad reality that we have to face a pandemic right now but before Covid, I was in the process of collaborating with my friends from different ethnicities to get to know their culture and give them a platform. I would love to continue doing that when it is safe again for everyone.
For now I am able to showcase my own culture, the Filipino culture, through music, food, language, events and a lot more.
Sometimes, I incorporate travel vlogs too, as it is one of my most favourite things to do on earth and I love how it is still in line with my goal to familiarize myself with different cultures – see what’s out there from my very own eyes.
What have you always wanted to do or learn but have yet to find the time for it?
Probably learning a new language. French and Korean. And some dance lessons, too. I’ve always wanted to do that for a very long time now.
Have you been in an embarrassing situation before that is funny now when looking back?
Oh, happened to me a lot of times already. Especially when you’re live on-air, things happen. Next thing you know, you’re telling it at your next dinner party and everyone loves it!
One time, while on-air, my throat dried-up and got really itchy and every nerve in my body wanted to let a big cough out and the more I suppressed it, the more it wanted out. And it happened. I had to turn my mic off even though I didn’t want to go off the air. Luckily my guest was kind and clever enough to improv as a DJ for me right at that moment.
Went on a commercial break. We and the rest of the team laughed our hearts out, while I’m still coughing and almost at tears.
Would you rather be able to play every musical instrument or master every type of sport?
I’d probably go with sports. As much as I grew-up with music and loving it, making it part of my life, sports is something I have always wanted to be good but never had a chance to.
What do you not get about guys?
Oh, guys are easy. I know them inside out. *wink*
Thank you for taking the time to answer our questions Jelly. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”?
When I stand on stage using my music to control the crowd; music is a wonderful thing to control your emotions. I think life would be boring without music so DJ-ing is a work I choose to be able to live and work with music.
Which was your first ever gig and did you feel nervous when you went on stage?
Yes, of course I was very nervous. The first performance when I started out was the hardest, I was not allowed to have any musical incidents on stage, the audience was so crowded and they just watched the DJ so that made me tremble a bit and feel shy. But once I got used to the stage and work, I confidently stirred every stage I go through, and that’s so great.
Is there a story behind one of your tattoos?
My first tattoos were about my mother and my sister, the people I love and cherish the most. Then there is the tattoo about myself, “born for music”is the tattoo I say about myself, I’ll live my life in music.
I love my tattoos and have never regretted owning it, but sometimes having problems with it, a lot of people won’t like girls who have tattoos and they won’t stop judging…hmm But it’s important that my family always understands me and supports me.
What is your favorite drink to order at a club?
Beer is my favorite drink at the club, 1-2 bottles will be fun but I can’t drink too much and get drunk, as no one knows what they are going to be after, right? ^^
If you could learn anything in this world, what will it be?
That will be the violin. The Violin is a very difficult instrument to learn and I hardly have time to learn it.
Have you ever been in an embarrassing situation before that is funny now when looking back?
There was a time when I was performing a show at an event in Indonesia, there were many cameras facing me, and. at that moment my bra broke out.. OMG I panicked and sat down to adjust, but my bra was broken. Then I had to pull my hair down and cover up the sensitive parts, fortunately my hair was long at that time and the camera was not able to shoot behind the stage.
What turns you off on a date?
That’s promiscuous. Love is so beautiful when it’s only for one person.
Thank you for taking the time to answer our questions DJ TynTyn. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”?
For me “Sexy” is seductive, body building beauty. Women who are confident in their bodies will like to wear sexy, and in my opinion it’s pretty.
Upcoming Works: In the future, after the countries reopen their routes, I will continue my show journey in Asian countries, and I also hope to have a chance to conquer countries in other continents. During this time you can also watch me live at Bigo Live (my Bigo id is NguyenTyntyn)
Recently, I’ve been taking vitamin C and supplements actively! Also, herbal tea!
Do you follow a strict beauty and/or exercise regime?
I don’t do much! On the contrary, if you try to make a good decision, it will be stressful. So do you stretches or hula hoops when you remember. I work out quite a lot at work, so LOL.
What hobbies and interests do you have? どんな趣味や興味がありますか?
I like music and I listen to various music! After that, I often watch spend my holiday with drinks and movies! The movie I saw recently that I was very impressed with was Joker!

Thank you for taking the time to answer our questions Mao. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”?
What is sexy is the inner taste of the person. Even for the same person, the type of sex appeal is different depending on the age group. That’s why each person’s intimacy grows due to their inner growth.

I have always been a big fan of Halloween, so when I went to my first comic convention and realized you could dress up as them, my brain exploded and I had a very expensive addiction to cosplaying ever since.
Which is a memorable cosplay experience you have had so far?
I love cosplaying as some of the celebrity guests at comic conventions, so a few of my favourite memories are when I got pictures with Pee-Wee when I dressed as him in a grey suit and red bow tie, when I dressed as a sexy Darth Vader and got a pic with Carrie Fisher, when I was Wonder Woman with Lynda Carter and my picture with Evangeline Lily bowing down to me in my Wasp cosplay.
What do you love about being a DJ?
I LOVE music. I feel like I had some very low points in my life and music saved me. I love seeing people lose themselves on the dancefloor, escaping from their reality and just letting go of all of their stress and problems and getting lost in the sound and in that moment we become connected as passionate souls in love with the beat. Also its just fuckin’ fun!
What is a common misconception about DJs you usually hear?
That anyone can be a DJ. Not true. You have to be able to read a room and decide how people are going to respond to your music choices.
That DJing is easy. Nope. Dealing with drunk people that, “Just want to hear one good song” or want you to “Just play this song on my phone” or “Can’t you download this song? Don’t you have wifi?”
One of my most stressful sets was at a pool party in Florida when I realized there was no shade for the gear and it was a million degrees outside. I had to set up my laptop on a bin of ice and make sure I emptied the water out of the bin every 30 minutes and put in new ice to keep the gear cool while maintaining the party and keeping the music flowing. This is one reason I don’t use a laptop anymore. Haha!
Is there something you’ve always wanted to do or learn but haven’t had the time?
I would love to learn how to sew and make my own costumes. However, living in a shoebox apartment in a very expensive city and working two jobs doesn’t really supply me with the time or the space to do any crafting. And honestly, by the time I would learn how to make something mediocre, I could just have it commissioned by a professional artist/expert (and support them) while also saving my own time and sanity.
Which flavor best describes you?
Frank’s Red Hot! Cuz I’m a spicy meatball!
What is a funny or lame attempt a guy has tried to know you?
Hmmm…. Honestly, I don’t get hit on very often. I have bitchy resting face a lot of the time and I think it scares people away LOL. Or maybe guys have attempted and I am just oblivious?
Thank you for taking the time to answer our questions Evilyn. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”?
Confidence is sexy. When someone feels confident, it’s sexy and you can feel their energy and power across the room. I also think it’s very sexy when people are just themselves and not concerned about what other people think. Sprinkle a little modesty and sassy intelligence in there with a beautiful smile and I am sold!
I am mostly just doing local DJ gigs for the remainder of the year, but you can find me spinning at sincityfetishnight.com and vancouverfetishweekend.com
Thank you for having me, My name is DJ Yukie from Bangkok, Thailand. I’ve been in the music industry for about 10 years now performing in clubs around the world, from America to Australia to Switzerland to France and throughout Asia.
What inspired you to be a DJ?
I’ve loved music since I was really young. My whole family is involved in music as well so it was an easy transition for me. I guess the first time I every really wanted to DJ was when my dad show me his vinyl collection and then I headed over to YouTube. That’s when I stumbled upon some DJ performance videos. I can’t remember who it was but it really sparked my interest and from there, the rest is history.
Is it tough being a DJ and performing in front of crowds?
I would say that it is just hard in the beginning but as you gain experience, it becomes second nature.
What kind of music are you into?
My favorite genre would for sure be hip hop and rap but actually, I am really into everything from bass house to dubstep, it really depends on the day. Some artists I think I couldn’t live without though would be rappers like J. Cole, Guru and Jazzmatazz. Jazzy music that is about life and staying motivated.
Which is your go to drink you’ll always order at a club?
I don’t drink often but if I had to say my go to would definitely have to be Vodka & Redbull. Have to keep the energy up.
Do you have a beauty regime to look so fabulous?
Yea of course. I exercise everyday, especially my abs to stay fit and firm. I also love to use waist trainer belts. Other than that I just make sure I always eat healthy and get lots of rest which is hard with the traveling nightlife schedule.
Where can we catch you performing most of the time?
I am always traveling and performing in different cities but my base would be in clubs around Bangkok. My IG @DJYukieMusic always has my updated schedule.
What is a funny or lame attempt a guy has tried to know you?
Haha funny question. Let me think. Mostly it comes in the form of texts. So many flirty and weird ones. Also people love to fight to get in the front row at my shows to try and get my attention while I’m performing. One moment that really sticks out was when a guy tried to climb the speakers yelling my name. Security handled that one real fast.
Thank you for taking the time to answer our questions DJ Yukie. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”?
I would define sexy as confidence. Being fierce, from the way you walk to the way you talk, having confidence and pride in yourself is what makes you fabulous.
Project wise I’ve been working with Fedde Le Grand’s Label Darklight Recordings lately, I’ve got my first release in December last year called “Midnight Strike” and am looking to release one or two more songs around next year.
