    I am Laika Aizelle Riguer and I am from the Philippines. I am 19 years old and I absolutely love travelling. For now, since it’s too risky to travel around, I spend my time doing digital content on my Instagram and take my time to be productive there.

    How did you get started into modeling and what do you love about it?

    I started modelling back when I was still 12 years old. I joined a workshop and that is what started it all. I immediately loved modelling the moment I joined this certain workshop. My first photoshoot was also memorable because it was the beginning of everything that I am grateful for right now.

    I can say that what I love the most about modelling is the fact that it makes me feel beautiful and confident. In a way, it gives me that sense of independence as I take control over myself; a beautiful reminder that I can freely express and be myself in front of the camera.

    What genres of modeling are you into?

    I am currently a Commercial Model of the Models Association of Cagayan De Oro (MACDO Models) but I’m hoping to explore more genres in the near future.

    Which 3 things do you enjoy doing most in the city you live in?

    The city I live in is a beautiful city and it definitely has a lot to offer. Personally, the 3 things I love about Valencia City is the feeling of comfort; the feeling of home because everybody who lives here have that feeling/sense of belongingness. I also enjoy exploring the tourist spots in my city as well as visiting the different charming little neighborhoods. Lastly, what I enjoy doing the most is spending time with my family and friends, and basically just having a good time in our little hometown.

    What inspires your fashion style and where do you love to shop from?

    I would say that my fashion style is inspired primarily by social media since I get a lot of inspiration from my favorite Instagram creators like Jess Hunt and Kaesha Grauaug. My fashion sense/style is somewhat like the minimalist and Parisian style. I don’t really have a particular brand I shop from but I see to it that the clothes I purchase are definitely sustainable that’s why I often choose to go thrift shopping. I also buy from sustainable or vintage Instagram clothing brands.

    If you can have a super power, what will it be?

    If I can have a super power, it will be the power/ability to stop time. Since I am a person who greatly values time, I would love to have the power to take control of it upon certain moments in my life.

    What kind of music are you into and do you have any favorite artists?

    I am into pop music since it greatly boosts my mood whenever I’m working on something. It just makes me feel happier and excited. My favorite artists include Taylor Swift, Dua Lipa and Ariana Grande.

    What is an ideal first date to you?

    My ideal first date is pretty simple. It would be movies and my favorite food like burgers, fries and chicken! It’s pretty classic too and I believe you can never go wrong with it.

    For me, the sexiness of a woman isn’t only based on her physical attributes or qualities, it is about how she perceives and presents herself. It is all about the confidence she exudes, the elegance of her moves. Above all, being sexy is staying true to oneself.

    Thank you, it’s an honor to be featured . I am born and raised in Los Angeles California who’s a stay at home mom for the majority of the time and I work part time security at a general hospital.

    When I’m not working my part time job or running around with my toddler, I’m on Instagram and TikTok creating beauty content such as makeup, skin care and hair care.

    What is your fashion style like and where do you love to shop from?

    Whew! My fashion sense is all over the place. It all depends on the location and my mood. I’m usually in a pair of jeans and a T-shirt or crop top but when it’s time to dress up, I show up and show out. When it’s time to dress to impress I go all lot, I’m a bit extra but I can say I am the fashionista of my group from hair, makeup and shoes. My go to shop is Fashion Nova and Shein because their plus sizes fit me so well.

    Do you have a strict beauty regime to look so fabulous?

    YES! Of course! I always start my beauty regime with self care, rather, it’s skin care or mental care, all will help me look my best. With being a mom, I’m always busy if I miss days or a week of self care, I will feel at my worst. I don’t know if that’s just me but I most definitely will not feel pretty.

    Is there something you have always wanted to learn or do but haven’t had the time?

    I’ve always wanted to learn how to make clothes. With having many talents I wouldn’t mind adding another but I already feel so unorganized and don’t know what to stick with when showing off my skills.

    What food or cuisine do you enjoy most?

    Food is life, period!!!! I’m such a simple girl I love chicken! Rather it’s fried, sauced up, any way chicken is made, I will eat it but sadly, I’m on a pescatarian diet so fish and shrimp is my protein until I meet my goal for my wedding.

    If you could be a superhero or villain, who will you be?

    A superhero!! DUHH! I’m always out here trying to save others. I have such a big heart. But rub me the wrong way and I can be a personal villain. I’m a Gemini, that says a lot!

    Which flavor best describes you?

    I can be all flavors!!

    Would you rather stay in or go out for a date?

    Before having a child, I wouldn’t mind being in the house for a date but  I am always at home so to step out for a dinner date with my fiancé and my daughter brings me joy.

    I have always been super passionate and into fashion! I will say I get inspiration from vintage and street style looks! I do not have a specific shopping spot but I do like thrifting and DIY! I often buy clothes from thrift stores and I will DIY something from it. For example, I will buy an oversize denim jacket and make it into a cropped frayed bottom denim jacket!

    Do you have any favorite workouts or exercises?

    YES I do! I started my fitness journey two years ago and I am so happy that I changed my lifestyle because of that! I personally really like abs workout and weight lifting! My workout routine usually focuses on abs, booty and legs! My favorite is SQUAT weight lifting because it makes me feel so much stronger and it also works out very well!

    Is there any food or drink you can’t live without?

    That is a fun question! Actually I do have something in mind! I don’t think I can live without Avocados and coffee because I literally need to have those two things everyday! I am addicted to coffee and it really helps me to start the day off better! I just love coffee and avocado toast in the morning! Best thing everrrr!

    If you could change one thing about the world, what will it be?

    I wish there was no poverty and that no one was homeless! Sometimes it is really heartbreaking to see them suffering and it is honestly very unfair! I hope we can help them so that everyone can live safely under one roof!

    Have you been in an embarrassing situation before that is funny now when looking back?

    I cannot count how many embarrassing situations that I was in before but one time, I was trying to order take out in an Italian restaurant. That was my first year of moving to the US and unfortunately, my British English doesn’t work so well here.

    I called the restaurant and said “Hello, I would like to order for take-away.” Then, the staff was so confused and I kept thinking, “did I say something wrong?” because the staff didn’t understand a word that I was saying but after that, I learned it is “take out”!

    Would you rather be able to taste colors or see smells?

    I would rather taste colors because I always wonder what colors taste like if it makes sense! I always think pink will taste like cotton candy for some reason haha!

    What is the funniest or lamest attempt a guy has tried to know you?

    I think the lamest move was that time a guy who was the restaurant manager tried to ask me to fill in a “customer review” form just to get my number. Of course, he texted me afterwards and I was like, “I did not expect that!” I was genuinely giving suggestions and reviewing the food in the form.

    Thank you for asking that because I always want to remind my audience that “sexy” isn’t just about physical beauty! Your confidence or self-love can also define how sexy you are! Wearing fewer or more revealing clothing is not the only way to feel “sexy” but having confidence and talent can also be the way to feel sexy!

    I totally understand that society has high standards of beauty, especially towards women. I always want to empower women and inspire others to be who they want to be! Self love should always be our first priority and putting yourself first is not selfish!

    Hi! I’m Swoosie (which is pronounced Suzie)! I come from a mixed race background with Thai, Chinese, and European culture. I’m from the Bay Area but moved to Southern California for college! I went to UC Irvine and graduated with a bachelors in Psychology. Ever since college, I’ve been vlogging my food adventures, travel explorations, and fashion inspirations.

    Some of my favorite hobbies are cooking, designing digital art, playing games, playing with my dog, cosplaying, and hanging out with friends! I love anime, listening to all types of music, stand-up comedy, and memes. I’ll be going to hang out at the beach, cute cafes, and Disneyland! Before the pandemic, I practiced sports such as Taekwondo and bouldering. I also participate in activism for causes that mean a lot to me. I currently own a page and shop online called ShareSelfCare that promotes self-care, mental health, and provides free and affordable resources!

    What is your fashion style and where do you get your inspiration from?

    My fashion style really depends on my mood of the day! Most of the time I like to wear crop tops with jeans or shorts, really long sweaters with boots, and bodycon dresses or skirts.  I love the color pink so you can probably see me sporting an all matching pink outfit! I really like punk rock, soft pastel, comfy, harajuku, and sporty styles which are all so different! One of my favorite outfits are a black leather jacket, black jeans, and long leather boots – kinda greaser style!  I think someone that has similar taste in fashion as me would be Ariana Grande. My style is very cute, sexy, and unique!

    How will you describe a typical day for yourself?

    A typical day in my life would be waking up and setting my intentions for the day. It only takes 60 seconds and really helps to keep track of what I would like to accomplish for the day! After I get out of bed I start cooking breakfast, making a latte, and watching a quick video like Saturday Night Live, Mark Weins, or Fuck That’s Delicious. I love to eat an all American breakfast with eggs, bacon, and toast.

    After that, I start working on my designs for my self-care account, editing or shooting videos for my foodie channel, or marketing and planning content for my social media. I have a bad habit of eating out or ordering takeout, so sometimes for lunch or dinner I may go on a little food adventure. Some days, I also volunteer for a local mental health nonprofit by helping them with grant writing, digital content creation, and social media management. I am also a freelance resume writer since I previously worked in the recruiting industry, so some days I also help edit and recreate peoples’ resumes. I feel like I do a lot of random and varied things now that I think about it!

    At the end of the day I try to relax and self-care by watching some shows, doing my skincare routine, or listening to the podcast On Purpose by Jay Shetty. Before I go to sleep, I write down a list of things I need to do the next day and then I try to meditate.

    Which 3 types of food or drink can you not live without?

    This is so difficult BUT I CANNOT live without Thai food, Italian food, and Japanese food. I love eating sticky rice, rad na, and Thai curry. Yum! I also cannot live without pasta! That is the one food I’m always down to eat. Japanese food is very diverse and I absolutely love takoyaki, croquettes, and sushi! All you can eat sushi is the best!

    What incredible life hack do you know that is invaluable to you?

    I’m a master improviser so I try to problem-solve with creativity. I was making a pizza one day during my broke-college student days, and I realized that I didn’t have a rolling pin for the dough, but I did have a baseball bat. I wrapped part of it in plastic wrap and used it as a rolling pin for the pizza dough. Luckily, my roommate didn’t judge me when she walked into the kitchen. I’m also great at finding the best deals for traveling which might not be a life hack but it sure feels like one.

    Is there something you’ve always wanted to learn but have yet to find the time for it?

    Yes! So many things! I’ve always wanted to learn how to speak Thai but I keep procrastinating and they also do not have it on Duolingo. Currently, I am practicing French and Japanese though. I’d also love to learn an instrument and different coding languages. There’s so many things I want to learn but those are on the top of my list! I’ve just been procrastinating on them.

    If you could time travel, what will you like to witness or experience?

    If I could time travel, it would be into the past to find out the secrets of famous mysteries and world wonders. I’d like to know exactly what Stonehenge was and its purpose. I would also go back a few hundred years into the past to show them the inventions we have now and blow their minds (and perhaps become filthy rich). I would also want to have conversations with famous figures like Cleopatra or the man in the iron mask and be like, “So how exactly were the pyramids built?” or “So who are you actually?”.

    I get nerdy when it comes to history and discovering the greatest secrets! It would be so cool to go back in time to find out! I don’t think I would travel into the future, because I believe we all can change the future through our actions, so there’s no point to me.

    What is a funny attempt a guy has tried to know you?

    When I was in my high school Japanese class, I sat next to a guy who probably had an Asian fetish who asked, “Hey, you’re cute. Where are you from?” I knew exactly what he was trying to ask but I didn’t let him have it. I told him, “I’m from L.A.!” He asked again, “No I mean, where are you REALLY FROM?”

    Sexy to me isn’t about looks, it’s a mindset. I think that sexy is about having confidence, being your true self, having fun and knowing that you’re a bad bitch. I think it’s very sexy when someone geeks out with a topic they’re passionate about.

    Hello, SimplySxy! My name is Patricia, a 19-year old Instagram content creator from the Philippines whose niches are skincare, beauty and fashion. I am currently a college student at Mapúa University taking up B.S. Civil Engineering.

    Back then, I had never thought of being a content creator as I was too shy and had little confidence in myself. But, this pandemic led me to explore new things and so I started joining different local brand ambassador searches way back July 2020 as a pastime. Unexpectedly, I had my first brand collaboration last November 2020 with a small local brand.

    I really love and enjoy what I do and as time passed by, a lot of opportunities came to me which is the reason why up to now, I am still growing and learning as a content creator and will forever be grateful for the support that I get.

    How will you describe your fashion style and where do you love to shop from?

    I can’t really say that I have a certain fashion style because I’m more of a mix-and-match type, just playing around with the clothes that I have and styling them to look good. I also prefer wearing clothes that are comfortable so that I can move freely.

    Since I am not much of a spender when it comes to clothes, I rarely buy from malls. I buy most of them from Shopee or Lazada and they usually cost less than a hundred pesos each.

    If you could learn anything in this world, what will it be?

    There are actually a lot of things that I want to learn but I’m going to keep this simple. It is my dream to be able to travel around the world so I would love to learn and be fluent in many different languages.

    What favorite pastimes do you have?

    Whenever I take a break from studying, I do photoshoots for brands, play video games, watch movies/series, and read books.

    On a scale of 1-10, how much of a foodie are you?

    Hmm, probably a 7/10 since I’m not quite the type to try out food that is new to me but I do eat a lot.

    Would you rather have the ability to fly or talk to animals?

    I’ll go with the ability to fly since I have mentioned earlier that I would want to travel around the world someday. This would be nice so that I can easily go somewhere whenever I want to!

    Do you believe in any superstition?

    I don’t really believe in superstitions but, I do respect those who believe in it since we all have different opinions.

    What turns you off on a date?

    A huge turn off would probably be when I am telling a story and I feel like the person is not listening or fully paying attention to what I am saying.

    How will you describe your fashion style and where do you love to shop from?

    Sophisticated, trendy, and comfortable! Sophisticated because I occasionally prefer my clothes to seem elegant and perfect on me, as if they were custom-made. Of course, trendy! I want my clothing to be relatable. And last, I think that comfort is really important in fashion! It enables us to walk around confidently without distractions. As of now, I enjoy shopping at local stores on Instagram. It’s my way of supporting them, especially with the current pandemic, but I really like shopping at Bench. They feature attractive crop tops and statement tees for a reasonable price!

    If you could learn anything in this world, what will it be?

    I’d love to learn to sketch and paint. I always give it my all, but it never seems like it’s for me, just like dancing. So to all artists throughout the world, y’all are amazing!!

    What favorite pastimes do you have?

    My favorite pastimes are watching Korean dramas and reading books! (but not my academic readings)

    Which 3 beauty or fashion accessories are a must have in your collection?

    I never leave the house without velvet lipstick, earrings, and a watch! I feel so empty without them!

    Would you rather have the ability to fly or talk to animals?

    I wish I have the ability to communicate with animals. I’d like to know what our dogs are thinking whenever my sisters and I play with them.

    Do you believe in any superstition?

    Of course! I admit that I still believe in superstitions, such as being cautious while giving affection to a baby because the infant may become ill or whatever. As Filipinos, we have a tradition of believing in superstitions. We truly have a lot of beliefs!

    What turns you off on a date?

    If a man eats noisily during our date, I will be turned off. Chewing noisily is one of my pet peeves.

    Well, I am a fashion content creator and I am currently pursuing Fashion Communication at National Institute of Fashion Technology, Mumbai. I hail from a small town called Siliguri in West Bengal. Fashion is something which gives me a lot of joy and makes me the happiest!

    What is your fashion style like and where do you draw inspiration from?

    I would describe my style statement as casual and chic. It has a very girl-next-door sort of a vibe just like my personality. My style statement is a smart blend of experimental and relatable fashion. I mainly draw inspiration from fashion magazines, forecasting websites, my favourite fashion influencers and Pinterest.

    Do you have any hobbies or interests?

    I love dancing and I have been taking lessons since I was a three year old kid. I also enjoy reading books and singing to myself.

    Which is the best compliment you have received?

    Whenever someone tells me that I inspire them to chase their dreams against all odds, I feel the happiest! Another compliment that wins my heart is when someone says that my smile radiates a lot of positivity.

    Is there something you’ve always wanted to do but have yet to find the time for it?

    I have always wanted to travel and explore new places but that hasn’t really happened a lot yet but hopefully, soon. *fingers crossed*

    How is a typical day like for you?

    Six-eight hours of online classes, shooting and editing videos, meeting deadlines, interacting with my audience, putting up new content and just trying to live the life of my dreams. Lots of multi-tasking basically, haha!

    If you could time travel, what will you like to witness or experience?

    I would love to go back to my childhood days and relive the same. Those days were divine.

    What turns you off on a date?

    Not being yourself and trying too hard to be cool.

    Hi everyone! My name is Thy and yes, it’s pronounced as “tea.” I’m from Vallejo, CA but I’m also planning to move to LA by the end of this year.

    What inspires your fashion style and where do you love to shop from?

    I like to be versatile and always changing up my look so my style is always changing. Currently, I’ve been just receiving clothes from my recent collaborations with brands such as YesStyle, Honeybum, etc.

    Do you follow a beauty regime to look so fabulous?

    I don’t really have anything out of ordinary. I like to drink a lot of water because I do tend to get dehydrated at my work. I also wash my face in the morning and night with the Neutrogena’s pore refining cleanser and Panoxyl’s acne foam wash, followed with any moisturizing lotion.

    Which 3 things do you love doing most in the city you live in?

    Right now, I am in my hometown city where I am able to connect with my friends and family. Since the pandemic, there isn’t really much to do so I‘ve just been a homebody and enjoy binge-watching on K-dramas.

    What quotes or mottos do you regularly love to use?

    One quote that sticks out to me the most right now is “work hard so you won’t have to in the future.” There’s been some times where I have experienced FOMO while watching some of my friends go out and have fun on the social while I am stuck at home or work. But I know that those things are temporary whereas, working on yourself is an investment for your own future.

    How is a typical day like for you?

    I am working as a full-time nurse and those 8-hour AM shifts can easily turn into a very long 12-hour or even 16-hour shift on a bad day. I’m also continuing my nursing education as my end goal would be is to become a nurse practitioner so I can open up more career opportunities along with building experiences on the floor.

    So on a typical day after my shift ends, I come home to eat dinner, knock out some assignments, sleep, and repeat. On my day off, I am able to dress up for any brand collaborations that should be scheduled to release on a specific date.

    If you could be a fictional character, who will you be?

    Growing up, I wanted to be Rei (aka Sailor Mars) from Sailormoon. Her character stood out to me because Rei seems more focused on her goals and does not let anyone get in her way with getting what she wants.

    What is a funny or lame attempt a guy has tried to know you?

    I have a few encounters with my male coworkers who have tried to pull something on me but I would passively reject them. I just think it’s funny because work should be professional and in my opinion, I would never date anyone from my work.

    I believe sexy is all about the mindset. There are many girls including myself that have times where we can succumb to low-self esteem because of society and media influences.     Fitness Trainer & Content Creator Patricia Gatus

    I have always been into fitness, sports and an active lifestyle because I used to be a basketball varsity athlete in high school and college. My typical workouts include strength training, boxing, Muay Thai, yoga and pilates. I usually workout around 5-6 days per week.

    Do you have any guilty pleasures when it comes to food?

    My guilty pleasures are pizza, cookies and donuts! But because I practice flexible dieting and generally healthy eating, I don’t feel guilty when I eat these. I do it in moderation, just like how we should with all types of food.

    How is your fashion style like and where do you love to shop from?

    My style is laid-back, a little classy but trendy at times. I like wearing outfits that complement my body, which I work hard for in my training. I am not picky when it comes to stores. I can shop in thrift shops, department stores or branded ones too.

    If you could change one thing about the world, what will it be?

    I hope people will value nature and the whole ecosystem because the earth can survive without us, but us humans cannot survive without it.

    Have you been in an embarrassing situation before that is funny now when looking back?

    My most embarrassing moments came from instances where I let my emotions overrule my thinking. I think many women can relate to this. Haha!

    Would you rather be able to taste colors or see smells?

    See smells.

    What turns you off on a date?

    Cannot carry a conversation.

    Being sexy means that you fully accept all your flaws and weaknesses. It means that you are confident enough to have them in your life and still have the positivity to focus on all your strengths. It’s being able to roll with all the challenges in life and still come out with a smile in your face.

    I’m Ruth Azenath Yap, currently a student taking up Art Studies in University of the Philippines. I started exploring the things I like doing a lot last year and now I am a content creator, social media manager and a graphic designer who is based in the Philippines.

    What inspires your fashion style and where do you love to shop from?

    My fashion style is actually inspired a lot by my friends. I have tons of friends who are also in the field of arts and most of the time…they would put up an outfit for me! Me and my friends love thrift shopping a lot which also led us to open our own Instagram thrift shop last year.

    How much of a foodie are you and what are your favorites?

    I looove food so much. I think desserts have a special place in my heart. I can skip all my meals but I can never skip on dessert. I love eating ice cream and gelato the most! If you would also consider coffee a part of this, I think coffee will win over my heart.

    Do you have any hobbies or interests?

    As an art student. my hobby is actually drawing and writing. Although I rarely write nowadays. Some of my other hobbies are singing, playing the guitar and doing random photoshoots.

    Which 3 things do you recommend every tourist to experience in the city you live in?

    Theree of the things I recommend for tourists to experience are all inside Intramuros in Manila. They should go around Intramuros and experience the different food, the architecture and the culture inside it as it really gives you a glimpse of how things used to be.

    Have you been in an embarrassing situation that is funny now when looking back?

    I cannot really think of anything for this, except for the times I would always bump when riding in a jeepney back then. My height is 5’10 by the way, so whenever I will ride or go down from a jeep, I would always always bump my head on the ceiling!

    If you could learn anything in this world, what will it be?

    If I could learn anything in this world, I would really love to learn how to not give a damn about what other people think about me. I know that a lot of us struggle with this, and learning this would just make life so much more lighter.

    What do you not get about guys?

    I just do not get how you can send them a text with multiple important points, but the only one they’ll reply to is the least important question you were asking.

    I would define sexy as being comfortable in the things that you love wearing.
