    Hi! I’m 21 years old from Montreal, Québec and run a fashion, beauty and lifestyle blog on Instagram. I love sharing outfit inspiration, hauls, favourite products, and my daily life. I’m also a full time student majoring in marketing with a minor in psychology at Concordia University.

    How will you describe your fashion style and where do you draw inspiration from?

    My style ranges from streetwear to preppy; lots of baggy clothing, crewnecks, plaid or knit pants, shoulder bags, platform shoes, and more. I love layering different pieces and mixing neutrals. I draw inspiration from 70s and 90s fashion, other fashion bloggers, TikTok and Pinterest.

    What is your beauty regime like and do you use any products regularly?

    In terms of makeup, I go for a softer look on a daily basis. I regularly wear concealer, blush, neutral eyeshadow, brown eyeliner, mascara, highlighter and lip gloss. My hair is naturally wavy so I usually just style my curtain bangs and add hair oil.

    How is a typical day like for you?

    On a typical day, I would grab an iced coffee and breakfast and attend my university classes, then work at my part time job in retail. At night I love listening to music and journaling, or watching Gilmore Girls to unwind.

    On days off from work, I plan ahead and shoot all my content, as well as answer emails from brands and partnerships.

    Do you have any hobbies or interests?

    Other than content creating, I’m very spiritual so I love reading about and practising astrology, meditation, and manifestation. I also love creative writing and poetry.

    Would you rather be able to teleport or read minds?

    I would rather be able to teleport because I would definitely end up getting hurt by others’ thoughts and opinions about me. Also, I would love to escape to another country in a matter of seconds.

    On a scale of 1-10, how much of a foodie are you?

    I’m a huge food lover so definitely a 10. I love trying different cuisines and restaurants in Montreal. I also have a food blog with my friend on Instagram! @snv.eats

    What do you not get about guys?

    I never understood why they take so long to mature and aren’t easily transparent with their emotions. Most men are very hard to read and play mind games which serve no purpose.

    The term “sexy” goes beyond physical traits and means embracing every aspect of yourself, and what makes you feel comfortable. What is deemed sexy is personal to everyone and shouldn’t be defined by societal standards.

    This is always a funny question for me. Within my work I’m extremely fluid towards sex and enjoy exploring, as long as boundaries are always respected.     I actually keep a list of ideas and will add to that as they come. What I film first depends a lot on if that idea requires a partner, special background or outfit. Once I do settle on a clip idea I will film and take photos on day one, the next day I will edit that content and create a trailer for social media to post or select a teaser photo from the set.

    On the third day I will post photos first and the film is scheduled for the next day. My goal is always to shoot an additional photo set that same day which will be edited and posted within 24 hours so there’s more than one post coming that week.

    How will you describe your fashion style and where do you draw inspiration from?

    My fashion style is very simple and chic. I prefer outfits which will make me feel confident and secure with myself. I love wearing comfortable dresses that will highlight my  smart elegance with sophistication as it will also allow me to move freely and express myself especially when I am hosting whether in front of the crowd or in front of the camera.

    Do you have any hobbies or interests?

    I love hosting, going out with family or friends, watching movies and eating! I enjoy spending time with my cousins and friends in my free time. We usually watch movies or series together while eating snacks. I also love sleeping because I have learned to rest to free my mind from thinking or worrying too much. I realized that it is really important to spend time with yourself as well and relax because stress could affect your productivity and drive for goals. Self-care is a must!

    What is a typical day like for you?

    A normal day for me will start in the afternoon because I am not a morning person. I only wake up early when it is necessary for work or school. I prefer starting my day around lunch time or afternoon because my body clock really changed during the pandemic. My classes start around 1 o’clock in the afternoon then end at 4 or 7 o’clock pm. After classes, I do a lot of  tasks, check emails, and use social media for work and entertainment purposes.

    On a scale of 1-10, how much of a foodie are you?

    I guess it’s a 10.

    Would you rather be able to have supersonic speed or control fire?

    I’d prefer to have supersonic speed because it would allow me to accomplish my requirements and work faster. I value my time so much and I want to invest most of it to tasks which are beneficial for my growth and learning. I hate wasting time, so speed could make me more productive and efficient.

    Are you more of a lingerie or bikini babe?

    I think I’m a bikini babe because I love going to the beach because it’s calm and chill. I find peace on simply staring at the waves while wearing my bikini.

    What is the funniest or lamest attempt a guy has tried to know you?

    I think it’s funny when some guys tend to pretend that they just accidentally sent a wave through chat then after I replied, they will start asking questions like, “Have you eaten your dinner?” or “Btw, how are you?”.

    Thank you for helping me, I wouldn’t be able to do this without you! You are my inspiration! -These words make me tear up all the time.

    If you could change one thing about the world, what will it be?

    Kindness. If people treat each other with kindness and are less egoistic, I think the world will be a better place. Treat people how you want to be treated.

    How do you like to spend your free time?

    I like to go on hikes! There’s something about nature that calms my mind. Thankfully, there are tons of places to go to in Austin. My dream place will be by the beach though, I am forever an island gal. Beach walks are the best!

    On a scale of 1-10, how much of a foodie are you?

    I would say 8. I love trying out new foods. Experience different cultures through food. I actually took up Culinary back in 2015, so eating at Michelin restaurants and street food is a must.

    Which flavor best describes you?

    I have a sweet and salty personality! I can be the sweetest girl in the room and get upset within 60 seconds. Ooops… I know! I am really working on it. It’s a journey, people on social media think you are perfect based off the photos and videos you post. But we are all a work in progress.

    What inspires your fashion style and where do you love to shop from?

    I would say that I am still in search of my own style. I admire a minimalistic classy style with statement jewelry or other accessories. Also, I am a big fan of business style, it comes from my school where it was obligatory to wear a school uniform. I personally love to shop from Asos, Mango, Uterqüe, and other online clothing stores.

    Do you have a lifestyle or fashion hack that you can’t live without?

    I love making lists. For example, I write a plan for the next day in my notes on my iPhone. It takes me 10 minutes before I go to sleep; however, it saves a lot of time the next day and reduces procrastination. Also, I have a clothing shopping list so I know I will not buy a cute skirt just because it costs $10.

    Which 3 things do you enjoy doing most in the city you live in?

    I live in the Sunshine State so I enjoy everything that relates to the beach and the sea. For example, boating and paddle boarding are always so exciting for me. Moreover, there are so many amazing food places and rooftop bars for meeting with friends.

    On a scale of 1-10, how much of a foodie are you?

    6-7. I love trying new food and explore different food places. But on the other hand, I can eat the same meals for 7 days in a row without being bored.

    If you can have a super power, what will it be?

    If I had one superpower, it would be the ability to teleport. Traveling would take less time with teleporting and allow you to explore some hard-to-reach spots.

    What kind of music are you into and do you have any favorite artists?

    I can listen to any genre of music from the ‘70s to Hip-Hop; it always depends on my mood. My favorite artists are The Weeknd, Placebo, Land Del Rey, and  The Neighbourhood.

    What turns you off on a date?

    That is such an interesting question. Some people tend to continuously talk only about themselves and their achievements; at this moment I feel like I am in a job interview, not on a date. Another thing that turns me off is when a person is rude to waiters and other staff members.

    Hi to all SimplySxy readers. I’m Jelly. I was a radio DJ and TV host in the Philippines. I moved here to Toronto 4 years ago and now I am a DJ for Wish USA. Broadcasting remotely, of course, every weekend, my show there is called “Saturday Night with Jellykiss”.  I also have a YouTube channel called “The Jellykiss Show” which showcases diverse talents here in Toronto and around the world and some travel vlogs, too, if I’m lucky!

    What inspires your fashion style and where do you love to shop from?

    I love dressing up! I love fashion! It’s one of my favourite ways of expressing my creativity. It’s just very flexible, no rules, no limitations…just like me! 🙂

    I’m a fan of mixing and matching timeless pieces with today’s fashion. I don’t have a fashion icon but I take my fashion cues from pretty much everywhere. Favourite TV shows, musicians, runways, movies, influencers, TikTokers, K-pop, my mom… I take it all in and bring my own twist to it.

    For unique and timeless pieces, I would go thrifting sometimes and buy from local stores. And to keep an updated wardrobe, you can never go wrong with Zara and H&M. They have pieces that can make you look fabulous without breaking the bank.

    How did you get started into being a DJ?

    I actually started as a newscaster back in 2008 (whew! that was a loooong time ago! LOL!). Then I became a DJ a year later for the same radio station. I was known as DJ Alex then and for the next 6 years.

    In 2014, I had the most humbling opportunity to be a one of the pioneer DJs for WISH 107.5 in Manila – the most innovative radio station in the Philippines. Through the Wish Bus, I was able to travel to different places on the metro and in some nearby provinces. Bringing music and world-class entertainment closer to them and at the same time, giving Original Filipino Music to shine once again.

    Can you tell us more about The Jellykiss Show and what content you provide?

    My main goal for the Jellykiss Show is to showcase cultural diversity.  It’s just a sad reality that we have to face a pandemic right now but before Covid, I was in the process of collaborating with my friends from different ethnicities to get to know their culture and give them a platform. I would love to continue doing that when it is safe again for everyone.

    For now I am able to showcase my own culture, the Filipino culture, through music, food, language, events and a lot more.

    Sometimes, I incorporate travel vlogs too, as it is one of my most favourite things to do on earth and I love how it is still in line with my goal to familiarize myself with different cultures – see what’s out there from my very own eyes.

    What have you always wanted to do or learn but have yet to find the time for it?

    Probably learning a new language. French and Korean. And some dance lessons, too. I’ve always wanted to do that for a very long time now.

    Have you been in an embarrassing situation before that is funny now when looking back?

    Oh, happened to me a lot of times already. Especially when you’re live on-air, things happen. Next thing you know, you’re telling it at your next dinner party and everyone loves it!

    One time, while on-air, my throat dried-up and got really itchy and every nerve in my body wanted to let a big cough out and the more I suppressed it, the more it wanted out. And it happened. I had to turn my mic off even though I didn’t want to go off the air. Luckily my guest was kind and clever enough to improv as a DJ for me right at that moment.

    Went on a commercial break. We and the rest of the team laughed our hearts out, while I’m still coughing and almost at tears.

    Would you rather be able to play every musical instrument or master every type of sport?

    I’d probably go with sports. As much as I grew-up with music and loving it, making it part of my life, sports is something I have always wanted to be good but never had a chance to.

    What do you not get about guys?

    Oh, guys are easy. I know them inside out. *wink*

    I live in San Diego, California but I was born and grew up in Hungary. Fun fact: My original profession has absolutely nothing to do with blogging, content creating/ influencing and modeling at all. I have a Doctorate Degree in Law and I was working as an attorney before moving to the United States.

    After having my first daughter in 2016, I published a book about my pre-natal fitness routine and I started to share content about my body update and progress on Instagram. After having my second daughter, I started to plan my content and improve my images quality, and from that time we can say, I became a content creator.

    What is your fashion style like and where do you get your fashion inspiration from?

    I cannot really categorize my style with one word only. Most importantly, I dress by the occasion of course and by my actual mood, therefore I do not really plan my outfits. 

    I think, quality is very important, because it can tell a lot about someone. I am not talking about the brand or the price of the clothes. It is more about your own personal vibe that you can represent with a greatly selected look.

    My “default” look – since I don’t need to go to an office – is jeans or joggers with a simple top, oh and I prefer neutrals, I wear colors mostly because of the style of an actual piece.

    My inspirations: I love to scroll down on my Explorer and I save my favorite looks.

    How do you keep yourself motivated to stay and keep fit?

    I have been into sports from a tender age and I could not live without – I am always in the move. To me it would be more difficult to stay away from physical activities.

    Which 3 things do you love to do in the city you like in?

    One: I like to spend on the beach of course and I love little secluded spots. 

    Two: I love to go to Presidio Park to watch the squirrels and cottontails with my kids. 

    Three: I am obsessed with the Ho-Shi-Mhin Trail in La Jolla and I want to go for a hike when finally I can convince someone to come with me. 

    Do you have a favorite food or drink you can’t live without?

    I could not live without eggs, meats, arugula and kale, oh and I do need some fried chicken sometimes LOL. Drinks: I could not live without sour and refreshing drinks made with mint, lemongrass or lavender.

    On a scale of 1-10, how much of a party animal are you?

    Depends on who I party with, but let’s say 6 -ish.

    If you could change one thing about the world, what will it be?

    I think people should respect each other.

    What is a funny or awkward attempt a guy has tried to know you?

    OMG I have a couple stories like that, but as a mother and the wife of my two daughters’ father, I don’t find it appropriate to share those in public. I keep those stories for an inner circle of my friends.

    What inspires your fashion style and where do you love to shop from?

    I love looking for styles and colour palettes that are in trend for the season and I get inspired seeing content from amazing bloggers and YouTubers I admire.  I often shop at boutiques and consignment stores.

    Sometimes, I’ll go thrifting at Plato’s Closet to hunt for some amazing pieces that are versatile and affordable! A few of my favourite stores are The Latest Scoop, Hollywood Boutique, Aritzia, and Oak + Fort.

    Do you have a lifestyle or fashion hack that you can’t live without?

    One of my favourite fashion hacks is styling basic tops and dresses in different ways where you can dress it up or down. It also helps if you are on a budget. The best part is reusing items from your closet to pull the entire look together.

    You can pair a versatile sweater, jacket or cardigan over a basic dress for a chic look. You can also tie a basic shirt in the front or side and pair it with jeans, trousers or pants.

    Which 3 things do you enjoy doing most in the city you live in?

    I love going on adventures and finding new places to hike and explore. I enjoy shopping along Robson Street and searching for scenic views in the city.

    On a scale of 1-10, how much of a foodie are you?

    I am totally a big foodie! Anyone who knows me knows that I love to snack and munch a lot. I love trying new pastries and different food but pasta has to be one of my favourite dishes! I would say on a scale of 1-10, it would be an 8!

    If you can have a super power, what will it be?

    If I were to have any super power, it would be to fly! Travelling the world is one of the things on my bucket list so I think  it would be amazing to visit different cities and countries around the world.

    What kind of music are you into and do you have any favorite artists?

    I have been listening to a lot of  contemporary R&B and Hip Hop lately. Some of my favourite artists are Smino, Frank Ocean, Joji, Mereba, Lil Tecca, and JID.

    What is a cringey or funny attempt a guy has tried to know you?

    I have been getting weird DM’s on my Instagram from random sugar daddy’s and I just find it hilarious and super cringey reading the messages.

    What inspired you to be a model and why do you love modeling?

    Modeling was never a dream of mine until I hit college. I was approached by an agency’s photographer and decided to try out modeling. It ended up being a little escape from the anxiety that comes with college. I ended up modeling for two years after I finished college. 

    Which is a memorable photoshoot or acting experience you have had before?

    One of my most memorable experience through modeling/influencing was traveling to Antigua in the Caribbean for a week and shooting for a beautiful resort. 

    Do you have any other hobbies or interests?

    I enjoy working out, journaling, discovering new restaurants, dancing, and hanging out with my Golden Retriever. 

    If you could travel back in time, is there something you will like to experience or change?

    If I could go back in time I would push myself out of my comfort zone sooner. I missed a lot of opportunities simply because I was nervous or didn’t think I was good enough. 

    What 3 things do you love to do in the city you live in?

    I love to go to the beach, visit my family, and take my dog on nature hikes. 

    On a scale of 1-10, how much of a risk taker are you?

    I am probably an 8/10 of a risk taker.

    Hello. I’m 5ft and 10in tall, and a 21-year old Medicine Student, and a TikTok content creator. I am from the Philippines, I got into modeling about two years ago when I was approached by a scout agent while I was walking on the road.

    After a year, I joined the Top Model Pageant and I won the Top Model title. After I won, I had many other modelling projects. I’m also a basketball varsity player.

    How is your fashion style like and where do you draw inspiration from?

    I am a simple and fashionable women. I like fashion and I like clothes that make me confident and comfortable at the same time because I used to be bullied for being fat and ugly during my childhood and teenage years.

    I weighed 100kg and I always cried for being bullied and not being able to wear nice clothes. Then I motivated myself to lose weight so that I’ll be able to wear clothes that I want to wear.

    Do you have any hobbies or interests?

    I like to travel, explore, play badminton and film TikTok.

    Which is the best compliment you have received?

    People always compliment my height and that’s the reason I got into modelling and basketball.

    What are 3 fun things you like to do in the city you live in?

    Eat, stroll, and sleep.

    Which are your favorite quotes or mottos you like to use for inspiration?

    Failure is the key to success.

    Would you rather have the power to control minds or teleport?

    I rather have the power to teleport, because I like to travel haha.

    What do you not get about guys?

    They are hard headed.
