    Hey I am Frances. I am Singapore based and currently a full time undergraduate student in NUS Physics Department. Despite my passion towards science and programming, I am also a big fan of fine arts. I like classical piano and graphic design. I was a student teacher in watercolor and fashion design back in high school CCA 😀

    What do you enjoy about modeling?

    That’s a fun question! I always wanted to show my unique fashion style to others and my friends also supported (or persuaded) me to do modeling!! However I know that I need to put in extra effort into the job, like keep a gym routine to stay slim! That is also a part that I like because I can become a better self through modeling 😉

    Which is a memorable photoshoot experience you had before?

    The most unique experience was my night shoot on Sentosa island! My friend was really a skilled photographer and he brought a whole lot of equipments along. I did a Japanese Yukata photo shoot there and the effect turned out to be amazing, if only I was slimmer that time (LOL)

    On a scale of 1-10, how much of a party animal are you?

    Around 2 I guess?? I much more prefer drinking with my close friends in a quiet place (and I’m VERY picky in music!!). However in times of need I can attend parties also!

    How do you like to spend your weekends?

    I love playing classical piano and I like to drill my skills during the weekends. Also I go for swimming and photoshoots during the weekend!!

    If you could learn anything in this world, what will it be?

    I would still continue what I am learning right now, which I am going to pursue quantum technology and artificial intelligence in my later years of studies in University. I feel lucky that I am doing just what I love.

    Which flavor best describes you?

    Bitter sweet like Black Russian or vanilla cold brew!! I believe that despite I look like some dressy Japanese girl, there is also great depth in my personality and I promise you’ll never get tired of it!!

    What is a funny or lame attempt a guy has tried to know you?

    Frances: Me:”I got 7th place in Singapore for some maths competition!”

    That guy:”Woahhhh that is so hot!”

    Haha. I don’t know, it was the first time I got complimented this way 😏

    Brainy is the new sexy!! At least that’s what I hope as a physics girl HAHAHA. But I do think that sexy people must have rich personality well, it’s either knowledge or intelligence (in any form!), because that is what attracts other people. I find Irene Idler and Bond’s girl in Casino Royale most sexy and that is the kind of woman I want to be!!

    I think my fashion style depends on my mood, but I think I love wearing dresses and skirts the most.

    What is your proudest achievement so far?

    So far, I’m pretty proud that I won the title of MVP Makeup Queen for Etude House’s Content Creators program.

    Are there any hobbies or interests you are into?

    Well, I definitely enjoy makeup and skincare. I also enjoy photography, fashion, baking, and drawing.

    Is there any food or drink you can’t live without?

    I don’t think I have a specific food, but I can’t live without Asian food or maybe rice. Hahaha.

    Where is your dream vacation destination?

    The world! I want to see as much as I can before I go.

    Which flavor best describes you?

    Strawberry cheesecake: sweet, complex, and smooth.

    What turns you off on a date?

    If my date is really cocky and just spends all night talking about himself.

    I was born and raised in England and moved to Texas when I was 8 years old. My family is originally from Pakistan/India and I love the culture, language and food  there – so it is a big part of who I am! Professionally, I’m an attorney and practice commercial litigation. As an attorney, you can’t be too creative with your job (otherwise you’ll get sued for malpractice!) so I started blogging about two years ago when I realized I needed a creative outlet.

    Where do you get your fashion inspiration from?

    Coco Chanel famously said that fashion is everywhere – in the sky and in the streets. I completely agree and find fashion inspiration everywhere! Instagram, fashion magazines, and people-watching. The other day, I saw a girl walking across the street and fell in love with the way she paired her boots with a mini skirt. I was inspired!

    Which fashion accessories can you not live without?

    I can never leave the house without my purse – I literally feel naked without it. It carries all of my essentials, including another fashion accessory I cannot live without: my sunglasses!

    What other hobbies or interests do you have?

    I love reading books and watching TV. My husband and I watch TV for a couple of hours every night and that is one of the ways we bond on a daily basis. We are super obsessed with Game of Thrones (House Stark, all the way!).

    Have you been in an embarrassing moment before that is funny now when looking back?

    I was taking an exam in college, and it was pin drop silent. Everyone was busy concentrating as it was a tough exam; even a loud breath would have been too loud. I had been drinking soda during the exam, and out of nowhere, I break the silence with the loudest burp I’ve ever heard on my life.

    Everyone immediately turned around to see who the perp was – and there I was – mouth still open and in utter shock. I’ve never burped like that in my life and was mortified. At the time, I wanted to run out of the exam but now looking back at it, I laugh. It’s one of those stories I’ll be telling my grandkids one day!

    Is there something you’ve always wanted to do or learn but haven’t had the time?

    I’ve always wanted to learn how to sew! I’m 5’2, so regularly have to get clothing hemmed to fit my petite frame. I always end up going to an alteration shop, but would love to be able to do it myself. And how cool would it be to actually pick fabrics and sew your own clothes? Hopefully one day I find the time to learn how to do it!

    If you could have a super power, what will you choose to have?

    Mind control! I always thought Professor X from the X-Men had the coolest power.

    What do you not get about the opposite sex?

    My husband is a total feminist, however, so many men aren’t. Feminism means women and men are equal, that’s it. I don’t understand misogyny and the mentality that women are inferior to men.  A lot of times women are placed in a box –we have to know how to cook, clean, and behave “ladylike.” I am not a fan of gender stereotypes and am so glad that today, in 2019, they are being broken down!

    Hi everyone, I am Boom Hui, welcome back to my channel!

    This is my introduction for my all subscribers/viewers of my video and yeah, I am a YouTuber / content creator / designer currently living in KL, Malaysia.

    How will you describe your fashion style?

    I’ll describe in one sentence – style in comfort.

    Do you have a beauty regime to looking so fabulous?

    Be yourself and be comfortable in what you are and what you are wearing.

    When did you get started into creating YouTube videos?

    As many persons out there, at first I just started to do some travel vlog for keeping those beautiful memories.

    Then I felt like I actually quite enjoyed and was interested in making videos. So I started my channel as a platform for me to practice and share my daily life or things that I would like to share. Luckily there are viewers who like my videos and content, and I really appreciate feel happy for that.

    And from here, I started my YouTube journal.

    Where does your inspiration to create content come from?

    Most of the ideas are from my daily life, from my friends and family or some movie scene. I like movie transitions and their vibes, including the angle and the whole video progress.

    Is there any food or drink you can’t live without?

    Definitely rice and fruit juices. Haha.

    Which flavor best describes you?

    Peach, I think. Sometimes it’s sour, sometimes it’s sweet.

    And that is my favorite flavour in this world so far.

    What turns you off on a date?

    A bad smell. (No matters at places or on people)

    I have a sensitive nose so I cannot stand for a smell that I do not like.

    How do you like to spend your free time?

    I enjoy hanging out with friends but also being in a quiet place, reading a good book with a glass of wine or a cup of coffee.

    If you could change one thing about the world, what will it be?

    Racism and intolerance.

    Is there something you can’t get enough of?

    Pink and glitter.

    What is one experience everyone should try at least once in their life?

    Anything that you are afraid of. Facing our fears is the best way to prove to ourselves we can accomplish anything.

    How did your interest in makeup and beauty all come about?

    I have always loved makeup since I can remember. I am pretty sure its part of my artsy side and the passion I have for creativity.

    Which accessories should every lady own?

    Spanx! You can never go wrong. I always need them in my life.

    Do you follow a strict beauty regime?

    I wouldn’t say strict. Isn’t it a must for everyone to wash their face with a facial scrub brush daily, followed by some sort of moisturizer (at least)?! 😉

    Where can we catch you partying on weekends?

    On my couch, snacks and Netflix. Only till about 10pm, early bed for me.

    How will you describe your fashion style?

    Comfort! I can’t stand anything tight, even yogas! Sweatpants and white tees are life.

    Would you rather have the ability to mind read or teleport?

    I feel like I kinda already have the ability to mind read Lol, so I would say teleport. I hate leaving my house so being able to teleport quickly anywhere would be so dope.

    What do you not get about guys?

    Why does it take so long for them to poop.

    How did your interest in beauty and fashion start?

    I started to like beauty and fashion, when I entered my University life. It was about 8 years ago exactly in 2010.

    What inspired you to start your website?

    Actually the first one I did was to make a YouTube video makeup tutorial, because I really like Michelle Phan, and she is my favourite beauty content creator since 2010. And I got to know makeup and how to dress up because of her videos, so I decided to make the same thing as her. And from there I started blogging, to review some cosmetic products that I have and started my website in 2014.

    How will you describe your fashion style?

    Just two words, SIMPLE and CASUAL.

    Which fashion accessories are a must have for you?

    Sunnies, bag, wristwatch or bracelet.

    Is there something you’ve always wanted to do but haven’t had the time to do so?

    I’d love to actively make beauty content on my YouTube channel every week.. But I don’t currently have time to edit the video every week.. I think I need a Video Editor for that LOL.

    If you could collaborate with anyone past or present, who will it be?

    Woooww if I had the chance, I would collaborate with two of my favourite beauty content creators. The first one is Michelle Phan you know her right ? Hehe.. And the second one is Ponys Makeup. She is the most popular Korean Makeup Artist aaarrghh Omg just imagining that makes me happy. I want to make some makeup products with them and also be a good friends with them.. So sweet~~

    What do you not get about guys?

    Uuummmhh their minds, because they are always quick to change their minds. And sometimes it’s hard to understand what a woman wants.

    Hello lovelies! My name’s Celin, I currently reside in Malaysia. I am a student, an aspiring-performer and a content creator. I am a Broadway and fashion-enthusiast, and I have a weird obsession for poached eggs.

    How will you describe your fashion style?

    As common as this sounds, I would describe my style as versatile. I have an outfit for every occasion, mood and style. From sweats and skate company-tees, long dress shirts and thigh highs to slit-legged dresses and sparkly heels. You don’t wanna know the physical state of my closet right now.

    Where do you usually love to shop from?

    Forever 21, mostly. As I am still a student, so I try to keep it as budget-friendly as possible (and also terribly failing at it at the same time). But whenever I feel like splurging I head online to Fashion Nova, Pretty Little Thing, or In The Style.

    Do you have any hobbies?

    I am almost sure that everyone does this, but during my spare-time, I hold concerts for my imaginary fans where I sing and dance in a little world of my own bedroom. When I’m not in make-believe land, I practice my singing and ballet, as I have a passion and a goal to make it somewhere on Broadway.

    Which kind of movies do you enjoy watching?

    Wes Anderson and Woodie Allen films are a big thing for me. They both have a calm yet ‘noise’ in their plots to keep the movie interesting. I could easily pull out their films and stay-in for the entire day.

    If you can have a superpower, what will it be?

    To able to read minds, I like figuring people out and getting to know people. So it’d be a lot easier to see what people were like in their minds.

    Where is your dream holiday destination?

    My dream holiday destination would be Brazil or Greece. I love places where the environment can keep me busy and excited.

    Have you had a secret admirer? 

    No, as “rigid” and boring as I might sound, I am a girl of her own principles and am very focused on my studies at the moment. So if I had one, I wouldn’t know.
