    Hey there! It’s my pleasure to be featured on SimplySxy. I am from a little town in Penang, Malaysia, but currently live in Kuala Lumpur. Currently I am working as a Graphic Designer in KL, Malaysia. I was a barista for 6 years but I want to take on challenges and try on new things so here I am, a graphic designer.

    Although I am a full time designer, I am still accepting students who love to learn latte art and teach them how to make their own cup of coffee. Besides that, I am also a content creator on Instagram. I love to share photos, honest product reviews, and I love to make videos too! I love it when my audiences love to watch those aesthetic videos that I made, and when my honest reviews help people to know which product they need, so they won’t waste their money to buy something that wasn’t suitable for them.

    I am an adventurous girl. I love unknown adventures and exploring places that I have not been to. But due to the pandemic I can’t continue my dream. My bucket list is get a diving license, parachute, watch the aurora with the love of my life, drive a caravan on Route 66…

    What is your fashion style and where do you draw inspiration from?

    I always love vintage styles, no matter if it is from America, Hong Kong or Japan. And my inspiration always comes from Audrey Hepburn. My mum had a good sense of fashion when she was young  she had a lot of tailor made outfits, but she gave it away after I was born. She regrets giving them away because vintage style is still a trend nowadays, and I could wear her old outfits.

    Are there any beauty products that are a must have in your collection?

    Lipsticks! Once I stayed over at my friend’s house but I forgot to pack all my skin care products and other make ups, the only beauty product that I brought was my lipstick. Because if I did not put on my lipstick, I would look pale and everyone would start asking me to see if I was sick.

    How do you decide and choose the content to blog about?

    Most of the time I will decide if the content is what my audience loves to see, and would my content be helpful for them? So I always will be sharing some experiences, product reviews, life hacks that I found useful, and sometimes just sharing some positive vibes to cheer people up!

    If you could change one thing about the world, what will it be?

    No war and no crime, so that I can have my solo adventures to more beautiful countries safely. I always love to travel and one of my bucket list is to travel alone to all the beautiful countries. But there are still some places that aren’t safe enough for girls to travel. Although I love adventure, but I don’t want my parents to worry about me.

    Have you been in an embarrassing situation before that is funny now when looking back?

    I believe that everyone have their embarrassing moment back then especially when we were young and dumb, same goes to me! When I was 60kg, I went to a gym and asked about the class and their price. The girl who worked at the gym explained to me about the class, but at the end she asked for my friends and family contact so they can sell them their gym class. I didn’t want them to disturb my friends and family so I faked some numbers and names.

    I literally don’t know why I named my mum Alex, which is my brother’s name, so laughing it out loud, and that girl was staring at me like ‘What the hell is this girl laughing about?’. I thought I would never see that girl again but when I went to a free trial gym event, she was still there and she remembered me! She was like ‘Hey Bella! It’s been awhile since I met you! Why have you not registered at our gym?’

    Which 3 types of food do you love most?

    Japanese food (especially sashimi!), poke bowl and yogurt bowl! 

    What is an ideal first date to you?

    Maybe for other girls their ideal first date will be something fancy, but for me, having fun in a funfair, having coffee and chit chatting about us, finding something interesting in a flea market, and enjoying the sunset by the beach.

    Hi there! I’m Ida from Singapore and I’m currently juggling a full time job and doing content creating on the side. I’m hoping I get to do this full time though! I absolutely love creating content!

    What inspires your fashion style and where do you love to shop from? 

    Literally anyone or anything can inspire my fashion choices – be it people on IG, on the streets or characters from a show. There was one period of time I was sooo inspired by Jung Man-wol from Hotel Del Luna, I was inspired to dress like her for about a week!

    For shopping, I shop anywhere from fast fashion brands like H&M, Zara, Uniqlo and also cheaper alternatives from Shopee, SHEin or ezbuy.

    Which 3 things do you love doing most in the city you live in?

    I love hanging out with the best company with great food and then chilling at the bar or cafe afterwards for more catching up. Sometimes I walk at the park too or go hiking with my friends. That’s currently the thing I like most doing.

    Which is the best compliment you have received?

    I don’t think there was one best compliment per se but I do appreciate it a lot when I do get compliments on the content I created – it makes me really really happy. Someone once told me I’m like a “chameleon” that I could transform into anyone or anything; I didn’t see what he meant at that time but I’m glad it left an impression! Inspiring people has always been the thing I enjoy doing the most. 

    How do you like to spend your weekend nights? 

    The perfect night would be curled up in bed with my cat, watching my favourite shows and a cup of tea with fuzzy socks to keep me warm while I blast the fan LOL. That’s literally the best night ever – Covid or pre-Covid hahaha.

    Is there something you’ve always wanted to do but have yet to find the time for it? 

    I’ve always wanted to learn how to draw or paint – I’ve always loved the arts and pride myself as a creative person so that’s something I’d love to learn and do.

    Have you been in an embarrassing situation before that is funny now when looking back?

    It’s funny – because I usually can’t remember! I’m sure I’ve done many embarrassing things before but I usually just laugh it off and forget about it.

    What do you not get about guys?

    Ughh the act of ghosting and then texts or dms you back like it never happened or continuously dms you even if it’s obvious you’re not interested. Talk about tenacity lol.

    Hi SimplySxy! Thank you for featuring me. I am from Sri Lanka currently living in Singapore. I would say that I have an outgoing, conservative personality. I worked in brand marketing communications previously and now I am a freelance artwork designer, product photographer, calligrapher, content creator and a blogger with an outgoing personality.

    What is your fashion style like and where do you draw inspiration from?

    I could say that my style is constantly evolving. However I feel like I am always drawn to boho aesthetic shades and styles. I do love trying out new fashion styles. My inspiration mostly comes from Pinterest.

    Do you follow a regular beauty regime?

    It usually starts with lighting a scented candle in the morning, a peaceful relaxed mind before anything else. I have been dealing with acne for the longest time so it has always been important for me to be consistent with three steps of cleansing, moisturizing and especially sun protection regardless of whether I’m indoors or outdoors.

    Which are your favorite types of food?

    I am a big fan of rice, so Sri Lankan rice and curry is a favourite of mine. I also love Mexican and Indian food. Lastly but surely, donuts and croissants!

    What are 3 sights you recommend to tourists to take in when visiting your country?

    If anyone ever visits Sri Lanka, there are many beautiful places to see. If I had to pick 3, definitely go to Ella, Arugam Bay and Mirissa.

    On a scale of 1-10, how much of an adrenaline junkie are you?

    I’d say a 5 but if anyone hypes me up, I’m down for it haha!

    Would you rather have the power to control objects or animals?

    I wouldn’t say power to “control”, but it would be amazing if I could have the power to communicate with animals because I love animals!

    What turns you off on a date?

    Disrespect, ego and arrogance.

    Hi! My name is Kari Beth and I am a content creator from the United States. I make YouTube videos, I have a podcast, and I edit photography on the side. 

    What inspires your fashion style and where do you love to shop from?

    When I’m looking for fashion inspiration, I find myself scrolling on Pinterest. My style is more on the girly side but add comfort to that! Being more on the petite side does limit where I can shop from.  If you’re on the petite side- I definitely recommend local thrift stores and Rue 21. Side note: I love to shop anywhere where there is clearance or a sale!!  

    Do you have any hobbies or interests?

    I love the arts! Drawing, Painting, Video Editing, and Photography Editing are the main forms of art that I love. I’m self-taught on all, which I think makes the spark never go away cause I’m constantly learning new things.

    Which is the best compliment you have received? 

    For me, the best types of compliments to receive are ones about my heart or character traits. Personally, I think the more meaningful compliments have to do within. It shows that they really getting to know you and that they are sincere. 

    How will you describe a typical day like for yourself?

    I do content creating full-time, because of that I split up my workload between Monday-Friday. Content creating allows me to create my own schedule and my own work hours. Being my own boss is pretty cool! Mondays are strictly content-creating days. Wednesdays I upload my YouTube Videos/Podcasts. Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday are used for editing. Since my work is all online, I like to end my workday at 4 pm – that way my mind can relax and I can step away from all the technology. 

    Is there something you’ve always wanted to do but have yet to find the time for it?

    I’m obsessed with watching Food Network and I think it would be really cool to sculpt and decorate a cake! Cake decorating is a form of art – and I love art – so I think this would be fun! 

    Have you been in an embarrassing situation before that is funny now when looking back?

    Absolutely! It’s a part of growing up. When you get older – fewer things bother you and you can just laugh off the things that used to

    What do you not get about guys?

    Hmmm, interesting question cause all guys are different. Maybe – why do some guys think they always have to put on this “tough” persona. Emotions aren’t just a “girl thing”. To be honest I think it’s so cute when a guy shows their softer side. After all, the heart is the best way to get to know somebody!

    I’m a teenager living in Oslo, Norway. This year I’m starting 11th grade, where I will have a main focus on math and science. Growing up I did dance, acting, and gymnastics, however, it feels like I’ve tried just about every sport…everything from football to swimming to archery. 

    School and family have always been two important factors in my life. So naturally, my sister and I grew up pretty close. We have never really fought, and if we did it would be about silly things like; who’s hairbrush it is. My family loves adventures so whenever we could we visited other places or countries. We’ve been a lot in South Europe, especially in Italy and France. I think this is also the reason we got a boat. 

    We’ve had a boat as long as I can remember, and I can’t remember not being by the ocean. The boat/ocean part of the family definitely comes from my dads’ side. I’ve been told a thousand times growing up that I’m a replica of my dad. From how I look to my interests. I love whenever someone points it out because my dad’s a replica of his dad, and it makes me proud to be compared and told that I look like my grandpa.

    How is your fashion style like and where do you take inspiration from?

    I don’t really know how to describe my fashion style because it changes so much. During the summer I have the ‘surfer girl’ type of fashion, but during winter I just look like any other Norwegian girl in their big jackets… it gets cold here:/ I like being bold, and not doing what everyone else is doing, but sometimes that’s kinda scary…

    I get inspiration from so many places, there’s not only one person I can say. One of the main ones must be Harry Styles. I love how he challenges the barriers this society has set, and I’m inspired by his courage. However, most of my inspiration comes from social media, everything from TikTok to Instagram to Pinterest.

    Do you follow a regular beauty or exercise regime?

    I ‘retired’ from gymnastics this March so up until then I just did what my coach told me to do, but after I ‘retired’ I didn’t know what to do so I didn’t do anything for a while. At the moment I go to the gym every day, and I run for about 30/45 min and then do some exercises with my body weight. 

    When it comes to beauty, I don’t really do much, I just let my skin do whatever it wants… I wash my face and put on some moisturizer. 

    Is there any food or drink you absolutely don’t take?

    I’m lactose intolerant and I’m allergic to tomatoes so I don’t eat that for obvious reasons. I’ve also noticed that my stomach can’t process a lot of wheat, so I try to not eat buns and stuff like that. Recently I’ve tried to not eat/drink a lot of milk products just to see how that will affect my body. I still eat butter, sometimes cheese, and similar stuff, I just don’t drink milk or eat food with a high percentage of milk.

    Which 3 things do you love doing most in the city you live in?

    There’s a lot of stuff that I love about my city, but if I have to choose three things it must be; the ability to travel everywhere, nature, and the fact that I have close access to everything. 

    Living in the capital of Norway definitely has its perks, I have the train station and the airport pretty close by. 

    Norway has such a pretty nature, and Oslo has everything from parks to forests.

    Like I said living in the city has its perks, one of them also being that we have stores for everything, and I can travel to just about every family member without problems.

    If you could learn anything in this world, what will it be?

    I would love to learn how to speak with animals… I think that we can learn a lot from them and their perspective on the world. I could also understand what my dog tries to say every 5 minutes… 

    Which flavor best describes you?

    That’s such a weird question that I’ve never thought about before. I would say a mix of the ocean and coconut since my shampoo/conditioner and deodorant are coconut scented, and I use a fair share of time by the ocean.

    What turns you off on a date?

    A few things turn me off. One of those is if they’re late without an explanation. Another massive turn of is if they’re disrespectful to their family, friends, or surroundings.

    I think what inspires my fashion style is the confident I have in myself expressing who’s the real me. Which is the reason why I love doing content. I love to shop online since the pandemic but sometimes, I go to the mall to shop too but mostly, I shop at local brands because I love to support them. I also do thrifting that everyone loves to do because it still has good quality though it’s used.

    First is the eyelash curler, why? Because my eyes are narrowed so I need to my lashes to curl so that my eyes look more awake, Second one is the blush-on to make my cheeks presentable and lastly, lipstick to not look pale.

    How is a typical day like for you?

    Typical day for me is the day I felt energized, that means I can do a lot for that day that makes me happy and complete.

    What have you always wanted to do or learn but have yet to find the time for it?

    I always want to learn to use guns. I don’t know, but it attracts me when I see girls that can use it.

    Have you been in an embarrassing situation before that is funny now when looking back?

    Yes, the day I fell from a tree because of my wrong step on the branch off it HAHAHA.

    Would you rather be able to play every musical instrument or master every type of sport?

    Master every type of sport coz it’s more fun and interesting to do for me.

    What turns you off on a date?

    When the man makes me uncomfortable on him or if he makes me feel he doesn’t want to talk to me and he keeps silent that even our date looks boring and also if I’m the one who waits long at the place where the date happens.

    Do you follow any beauty regime to look so fabulous?

    Honestly, I don’t have a beauty regime. But this is list of my own: skincare daytime using Hello Glow Acne Solutions Cleansing Gel then my all time favorite G21 Bentonite Clay Mask mixing with G21 Jeju Ice, drink a lot of water, attending Zumba classes then repeat my skincare for night time routine. That’s all!

    What are 3 fun things you like to do in the city you live in?

    I really love road trips especially with my cousin (Nathalie), food trip and going to the beach.

    If you can time travel to the past, is there anything you will like to change or experience again?

    I really get emotional when it comes to my life. If I could travel back to the past, I would want to experience being with my daddy on the field trip again.

    A typical day for me is very busy, I’m always working on something. Recently I have been occupied with modeling, photoshoots and content creation.

    A few people have told me I inspired them.

    I’m a homebody so I love to chill, watch movies but I’m also up for whatever and love a good adventure or something fun like amusement parks, trying new foods and restaurants,  going to the beach, stuff like that.

    I would say 7 or 8. I love trying new restaurants, foods and flavors but I also like cooking at home.

    How is your fashion style like and where do you usually shop from?

    When it comes to my fashion style, I would say that I have my fair share of casual streetwear fits as well as my more chic, ‘dressed up’ side. Some days call for cropped camisoles, distressed jeans, and sandals, while others call for oversized tees, sweats, and some sneakers—it really just depends on my mood and the weather.

    As far as shopping goes, I have been getting clothes from my partnerships with brands like Princess Polly, SHEIN, Yesstyle, and Lounge, but I have also enjoyed pieces from small businesses like Rocky Drip Clothing, C Surf Co, and Alithia.

    As an influencer, what content do you mostly create for your audience?

    Whether on YouTube, Instagram, or other platforms, I mostly create content that is either relatable, informative, or inspiring. For instance, when filming YouTube videos, I always act how I normally would as if the camera weren’t there, that way my viewers can really connect with me and get to know me in my truest, most unfiltered element. I also want to inform or inspire my audience in some way.

    Whether I’m sharing my personal life experiences, posting a picture in a trendy outfit, or reposting sources regarding social issues—I do everything with the intent that it is going to make some sort of impact for someone on the other end of the screen.

    Do you follow a regular beauty or exercise regime?

    Both my beauty and exercise regime are important parts of my daily routine. When it comes to beauty, I have my morning and nighttime skincare routines that include products from brands like the Ordinary, Peach & Lily, COSRX, and Neutrogena, and I also love incorporating skincare tools and devices like my rose quartz gua sha and roller, my Foreo LUNA Mini 2, and my face steamer.

    Keeping active and staying fit is also a vital part of my daily routine to relieve stress, so I have a set workout split where I train legs three days a week, then I have upper body days in between where I focus on either chest, triceps, and shoulders or back and biceps.

    On a scale of 1-10, how much of a party animal are you?

    Pre-COVID, a solid 9. I was ready to go wherever if it meant going out with friends and just getting out of the house, but nowadays I feel that the pandemic has definitely made me more of a homebody. But nonetheless, I’m always down for a good time.

    Would you rather be able to control fire or water?

    Water—the fact that more than half of the earth is covered in water is kind of intimidating, so it would be cool to be able to control something as vast as that.

    If you could time travel, what will you like to witness or experience?

    If I could time travel, I would want to go to concerts of artists that are no longer with us. Some of the greats were taken out of this world way too soon, and although their music and legacy lives on, it would be dope to experience and witness their music live.

    What do you not get about guys?

    I don’t understand when they can’t communicate.

    Being ‘sexy’ is when you not only know your worth, but you genuinely believe in it too. Sexy comes in all different shapes, sizes, and colors, so once you reach that bliss level of self-love, your confidence will radiate through, and others around you will see it too.

    Hello there, it’s my pleasure being featured here on SimplySxy. I am a 24 year old girl living in Singapore. Besides studying Psychology and waiting for University next year, I am also a part time makeup artist with the brand we all know and love growing up, M.A.C cosmetics and a content/lifestyle creator.

    What inspires your fashion style and where do you love to shop from?

    To be really honest, I don’t have a specific style because I really love fashion and I want to try out every style there is but growing up, I have always been a fan of the 90’s emo/punk rock, tattoos, dyed hair n a mix of dark, grunge and vintage aesthetic. And I think that it really stuck with me as I grew older because I know that I still incorporate hints of  it into some of my current outfits/lifestyle.

    Do you have a lifestyle or fashion hack that you can’t live without?

    Still using shoelaces as a belt haha. I think that was one of the most helpful hacks I have learnt. Oh and also, accessories! I feel like I’m naked without a necklace or a watch on my wrist.

    Which 3 things do you enjoy doing most in the city you live in?

    There really is nothing much to do here in Singapore besides eating and shopping. But I do like to spend time with my friends doing activities together. An ideal situation would be to head to the beach. That’s my favourite place because I love the waters so much and just being surrounded with people who feel the same way too, enjoying each other’s company in this tropical weather, playing ball games/water sports.

    On a scale of 1-10, how much of a foodie are you?

    I don’t think I am a foodie, but I am. I LOVE trying out new restaurants and food places. So it would be a 9.

    If you can have a super power, what will it be?

    To be able to move objects with my mind.

    What kind of music are you into and do you have any favorite artists?

    Right now, it’s definitely Tate Mcrae. She has such a unique voice to her and her style is also quite fascinating. But I have always love punk rock so Willow smith’s Transparent Soul has been on repeat for the past few weeks 🙂

    What turns you off on a date?

    Bad table manners, or being rude to the waiters. My ass would’ve have bounced.

    I think being sexy is just by being yourself. As cliché as it sounds, you’re only as sexy as you think you are, so go be the baddest version of yourself! you only have this life to live why waste it hiding behind something you’re not? F*ck conforming into what others perceive you as, you are your own damn self. So go be your own star!
