    How will you describe your fashion style?

    Though I’m super into fashion trends, however I’m persistent in wearing clothes that I’m comfortable in. By comfortable, it means the material, the style and etc. To be honest I do not really own a style. Because I can go cute, street style, elegant (okay maybe not able to bring that vibe out fully cos I’m SHORT) or even sexy. I mean ultimately, it’s important to feel good in your outfit, isn’t it?

    What is your most memorable life experience so far?

    That will bring it all the way back to my graduation trip in Hong Kong. For those who know me, I have acrophobia. Yes and it’s really the serious kind. But who knows what was in my mind at that point of time. I can’t believe that I went on those thrilling rides at Ocean Park. Being tossed 360 degrees was never how I wanted to be situated in. What’s more? With the cold wind blowing ride at my face. That feeling simply sent chills down my spine.

    Do you have any hobbies?

    Singing, dancing, guitar, roller skating.

    Is there a food or drink you can’t get enough of?

    Durian mmmmmm, it’s just so good! The smell of it is enough to make me fall in love!

    If you can have a superpower, what will it be?

    Ability to read minds, I’m curious in nature so sometimes curiosity really kills. If I’m able to possess this ultimate power, it will really save a lot of brain cells from dying! Though, it may not be a total blessing to have it, but I feel safer to know that things are within my qualms.

    Where is your dream holiday destination?

    Maldives. Unfortunately, this place is probably gonna disappear soon. However I do hope I still have a chance to visit this destination before it is gone ☹

    This place is legit. Though I have not been there, but at the look of it. It just makes me feel calm, relaxing and stress-free. A place where you can really slow down your pace outside the bustling city and immersed deeply into sea breeze and atmosphere.

    Have you had a date experience ever? 

    Yup I do.  I don’t really wanna go into too much details because it was a horrible and heartbreaking one. Or maybe it just my luck, not being able to meet a good guy.

    It is a pleasure to feature you Celine. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”? 

    Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. So I will never care too much about others’ judgement. Sexy is not an appearance but rather a feeling. Being skimpy, showing too much of skin doesn’t equate to sexy. If you want people to find you sexy, first you have to feel sexy about yourself. I don’t want to be just sexy, but sexy without confidence. That should be how one brings out his/her sexiness.

    My name is Whitney, but I go by Zabracus, pronounced ZAB-RUH-CUSS. Think AbraKadabra. I like to cosplay, go on adventures, play games (particularly Dungeons and Dragons), and play with my Welsh Corgi (dog) Smee. I hail from Salt Lake City, Utah aka the geekiest state in the USA! I’m a paralegal by day and a cosplayer and business woman by night! I love popcorn, wine, beer, and taking long walks through the mountains.

    What do you enjoy most about cosplay?

    I love the creative release it provides. You can recreate your favorite character, bringing it to life, or you can create your own version of a character. It’s a way to just let go of yourself and create for hours on end. It’s almost therapeutic if you take out all the stress from procrastination and burns from hot glue guns.

    How long does it take you to create a costume from scratch?

    It really depends on the costume. There are some costumes that I can bust out in about 5 hours-time like my (S)He-Man, or costumes that take months to build like my Saiyan Armor Vegeta. So, it really just depends on how labor intensive the cosplay is.

    Are there any characters which you will love to cosplay in the near future?

    All of them. But for my sanity and yours, I’ll go with Sauron from Lord of The Rings and a Witch Doctor from Diablo III. Yes, I do in fact mean Sauron, the dark lord in full armor. And as I’ve been playing the Witch Doctor, I’ve fallen in love with the look and style of the character. Both of these characters will be challenging to make (I love a good challenge) and they’ll be an insane amount of fun to portray.

    Which fictional character do you wish was real?

    All of them. Okay. Maybe not all of them because I don’t want Voldemort or Ramsey Bolton running around together. But, hrm, I think real life Pippin for a drinking buddy could be fun. And I want my own dragon from Game of Thrones. And a direwolf. O0o and a Hippogriff from Harry Potter! I think I might like animals more than people… haha but my final answer will be Vegeta from Dragonball Z because he’s an adorable asshole. He means well.

    If you could have a superpower, what will it be?

    Telekinesis. Ever since I watched Teen Titans growing up, I was obsessed with Raven and her powers. I thought they were so cool and have wanted to be able to move things with my mind ever since. I may or may not try every now and then. I have yet to be successful, but hey, maybe some weird radioactive thing will happen someday and my dream will come true.

    What item at home can you use as a weapon if there is a zombie apocalypse?

    I think about this all the time. I even have a zombie escape plan/route for my house. Seriously though, I constantly look around me in various places and think, “if the zombie apocalypse started right here right now, what could I use as a weapon?” Anyway, if I’m at my house, I have actual weapons: a .22 rifle, a compound bow with sharp arrows (I used to hunt), a wooden baseball bat (channeling my inner Negan), and a plethora of knives (I used to work for Cutco so they’re extra sharp!). But if I had to choose a regular boring item I would choose a shovel or something. But in the zombie apocalypse everything becomes a weapon!!

    Have you ever had a bad cosplay experience? 

    Depends on what you mean by bad. I’ve never really been bullied much for my costumes and I haven’t had any wardrobe malfunctions. Probably the worst experience I’ve had with cosplay is my own fault. I procrastinate and have spent too many nights right before a con finishing up a costume. Those are never good experiences.

    Sexy is confidence. Confidence in yourself to be whoever and whatever you are. Being comfortable in your own skin. You don’t have to wear tons of skin or tons of clothes to be sexy – just be you, and your sexiness will shine through.

    A guy thought I was Russian so he texted me a Russian word to impress me. He texted “другой”. This means “other” in Russia. When I texted him back in Russian, he Google translated and was confused with the word he sent in Russian.

    It’s the best gift in the entire world. We are twin sisters by chance but best friends by choice. I am slightly taller and blonder 😉

    Where did the inspiration to start Social Movement come about?

    My twin sister and I have always wanted to own our own business and this fell into place. We both come from full time social media jobs and this was the right next step. We absolutely love what we do and also offer great value for our services.

    I would say sexy yet sophisticated. I workout almost every day so I want to show off the results!

    On a scale of 1-10, how much of a foodie are you?

    Before I met my husband I would say 2!  Now I am definitely a 10! He’s introduced me to such amazing food and restaurants.

    Sweet! Being kind and treating others well is a huge priority of mine.

    If you could have a super power, what will it be?

    Time travel. I’ve always been obsessed with classic rock and would do anything to have attended Woodstock.

    Accidentally calling me by my twin sisters name and playing it off like a joke. I was once kissed in a club and the guy said “Jacklyn (my twin sisters’ name) you’re a great kisser…” NOT COOL. I genuinely think he had no idea I wasn’t her.

    Oh my gosh, everywhere!  I used to troll all the fashion mags, but I don’t think I’ve flipped one open in years.  Momming keeps you busy!! Now I am inspired by what I see on the street, what my kids are into at the moment, what I might see down the cereal isle; there is so much inspiration to be found everywhere you look!

    What misconceptions do you usually hear about Influencers?

    We’re just in it for the free clothes.

    Which is the best compliment you have received?

    You’re a good mom it has nothing to do with fashion, but juggling life in general always has me feeling like I’m failing at everything, so it always means most to hear that I’m not totally sucking at my most important job.

    Do you have any guilty pleasures or indulgences for food?

    Um, coffee, sugar, candy, all of it!! I could live on lattes and m&ms. I eat pretty clean otherwise but for my sanity, I keep jars of chocolate candy all over the house….and I don’t feel guilty about it at all.

    Would you rather have the ability to talk to animals or read their minds?

    Eh, I’m more interested in reading the minds of people.  Animals don’t really seem that complex.

    How much of a party animal are you?

    Hahahaha, hmmmmmmm, pre kids?  Let’s just say thank goodness Snapchat wasn’t a thing. Now? Maybe once a year?  And it takes me like a month to recover.  I’m honestly embarrassed by how lame I’ve become.

    Is there something you don’t get about guys? 

    How simple they actually are.  Like, it’s totally not fair that they only have one thing on their mind.  I have files and folders and baskets opening up all over the place up there.

    It is most interesting when there is exposure to a lot of different roles to shoot. You can play a teacher today, or an athlete the next, followed by an office lady, which you can’t do in other professions.

    I think it will be sweet as a lot of people say that my smile is sweet? They say that it helps make them feel a sense of healing which I don’t even realise. Eating desserts also gives me a feeling of healing, so I guess it should be sweet?

    Have you experienced a funny or embarrassing moment before?

    I remembered when I was volunteering in a school, and while teaching halfway, there was a commotion among the students, they began to whisper to each other and started laughing. I told them to stop and a student suddenly came up to me told me that my zipper was down. I ran to the bathroom and found that it was broken and couldn’t be fixed. So I wore a coat and went back to class and pretended that nothing happened. It was really embarrassing…

    我很記得有一次, 我去某一間學校去當義工, 教小朋友, 教到一半, 他們突然吵了起來, 低聲說,大聲笑的, 我就叫他們不要吵, 突然有一個女生走出來, 在我耳邊說, 老師你沒有拉褲鏈, 我立刻跑去洗手間, 發覺我的拉鍊壞了, 怎麼拉也拉不上, 最後只好用外套蓋住, 回去時, 還若無其事的, 繼續上課, 還真丟臉啊….

    What turns you off on a date?

    I have had dates who talked about themselves, how tough it was and I would sit quietly, nod my head and wishing to go home as soon as possible. I feel that confidence is not a bad thing but too much feels like arrogance.

    I don’t have a specific fashion style to describe because the way I dress depends on how I feel on a particular day, sometimes I feel gothic, sometimes I feel elegant, sometimes rough. So if I were to describe it in a word it would be “different”.

    What is the best compliment you have received?

    “WHY ARE YOU SO GOOD AT EVERYTHING??” (It was more of a frustrated yell from a friend, but to me it was a compliment.)

    On a scale of 1-10, how much of a party animal are you?

    Probably a 7.5, not too hard but still kinda hard.

    Is there something in life you can’t get enough of?

    A good Steak!

    If you can have a superpower, what will it be?

    I’d want to be a mixture of invisibility and teleportation. But if it was just one then invisibility.

    Which reality TV series best suits your skills to win it?

    A judge on any “got talent” show, I’m good at critiquing.

    What is one thing you don’t get about guys? 

    How they get into painful fist fights and be okay but wince in pain when I try to get a pimple out of their face.

    Tampa Cosplayer Alexis Victorious

    Hi! It’s great to be featured! I’m originally from New York City, but I’ve been living in Tampa for the past 6 years. I moved to Tampa for college, and I’ve just sort of stuck around, for now. When I’m not working on cosplay, I’m either at my boring office job, playing video games or reading. Most recently, I’ve been getting back into playing Kingdom Hearts, but I’m trying to play all of the games in order. I’m also really into  loose leaf tea lately!

    How did your interest in cosplaying start?

    I had admired cosplayers for years, but my confidence wasn’t very high. It was a bit of an impulsive decision that made me actually start. I was a on a website that sold Spider-Man patterned lycra suits, and really just said, “why not?” After that, I posted my first photo to my personal Instagram and that was it!

    I recognized how much more there was to cosplay, like foam smithing and sculpting, as well. I actually changed my major in college from art to a more general study, because I had been cautioned so much about job prospects with an art degree. I’m disappointed that I didn’t follow my initial intuition, but cosplay gives me a great opportunity to work with my creative skills.

    What is your most memorable cosplay experience?

    My time at San Diego Comic Con was definitely fantastic. I made a point to wear a different cosplay for each of the 4 days I had a pass for. Wearing so many different costumes really let me interact with so many different people from so many different fandoms. At the end of the day, I’m at conventions for the same reason as everyone else; to meet people with shared interests.

    Which is the best compliment you have received?

    Someone at the Anovos booth, the company who makes the official Star Trek uniforms for the movies, said I looked like Nicole Nichols. Day made!

    Is there something in life you can’t get enough of?

    Travel, for sure. I love traveling and seeing new places, but I can only travel so much with my day job. If I could drop everything and go on a worldwide adventure tomorrow, I definitely would.

    How long would you survive a zombie apocalypse?

    Not long at all! If I’m being honest with myself I would probably try to hide out in a bunker for as long as I could. The only athletic ability I have under my belt is yoga, so unless I can convince a zombie to see who can touch their toes the longest, I’m doomed!

    Would you rather have the ability to fly or breathe underwater?

    I would fly! I hate driving, so flying would be perfect for me!

    What is the lamest attempt a guy has tried to know you?

    Spamming my inbox. I try to respond to everyone on my page, but one person recently sent me a new message every hour or so, even late into the night. I can guarantee that I’m not going to feel anything but annoyed if I’m being asked the same question every hour for several weeks straight…

    When did your interest in modeling start?

    I guess I’ve always been intrigued by fashion. America’s Next Top Model has been a large source of inspiration when I was little.

    Which is your most memorable photoshoot so far?

    One time while on a location shoot in the bayou, we saw four giant spiders above us each at least 6 inches long, an alligator, and a couple snakes. I absolutely love the outdoors but the spiders were so close to my head and I was so scared they were going to drop on top of me during a shot!

    How is a photoshoot like and what does it involve?

    There are so many elements to a photoshoot, and it involves a lot more time and effort than just being at the location and taking photos. There are so many people: the photographer, the model, the makeup artist, the hairstylist, the wardrobe specialist, the location scout, sometimes assistants, sometimes editors, etc. It’s amazing really!

    What misconceptions about modeling still exists now?

    The modeling world is very peculiar. I wonder if I’ll ever fully understand it. In a way, I think that’s one of the biggest misconceptions, that anything about this is ‘simple’.

    If you could meet someone past or present, who will it be?

    If I met someone, I would want it to be devoid of any egos or professions. Just two people meeting each other, sitting down for tea, and maybe discussing local art or music. If this were the case, maybe the Obama family? They seem so real. Or Basquiat, the painter. He seems really nice.

    Which genre of movie do you like most?

    I like comedies or indie films. French film really intrigues me. Lately I’ve been watching a lot of cooking shows? Which, I know aren’t movies, but I absolutely love the cinematography of a couple shows on Netflix. (Chef’s Table)

    I didn’t really know how to answer this question. If you try and type that into Google you find a lot of articles that display pictures of beautiful models or expensive red cars, but is that ‘sexy’? To me, sexy is how someone could feel. I think sexy is a personal emotion, not a description of appearance. Sexy definitely comes from within, and is a choice or feeling or action.

    I pamper myself by travelling in Malaysia and other countries.

    I enjoy my weekends by exercising. Not only it makes me feel healthy and fit but it also makes me feel very relaxed after a long day.

    If you could meet anyone past or present, who will it be?

    It would most definitely be my late grandparents. They are truly amazing people.

    Do you believe in any superstition?

    Yes I do. I believe that we have to be clean before going to bed to avoid nightmares when we are asleep.

    What turns you off on a date?

    I honestly can’t stand someone who is a narcissist.

    Personally for me sexy is not defined by the amount of clothes you have on your body or how fit you are. I would find a person is sexy when they know how to carry themselves with maturity, compassion, independence and respect.
