Japanese Model Reiko McNish Sato
Hi Reiko thank you for taking the time to answer our questions on SimplySxy. Please share with our readers a little about yourself and where you’re from?
I’m from Tokyo Japan, raised in Canada. Currently back in Tokyo and am a model and Uni student.
When did you get started into modeling?
After I came back to Japan, at the age of 18.
If you can change one thing about the modeling industry, what will it be?
Modelling industry in Japan is different I’d say. But hmm, I don’t think I have any desire of changing them.
On a scale of 1-10, how much of a foodie are you?
10 for sure! As much as I love to workout, I love to eat 😉 Currently opened my new Instagram account for healthy cooking @reikomcdish, working on it for the recipe book publishing!
What is your proudest achievement so far?
I first started off my modelling career as being featured on TV commercials, fashion magazines and ads etc.. But on my 3rd year of workout routine (started fitness at 17), I started getting offers as a fitness model. Sponsored by Puma two years in a row now and modelled for several other fitness events and brands. “Hard work always pays off when you do enough” is what I learned from this experience.
Which is the best compliment you have received?
Rather than being called cute or pretty, I like to be called smart or beautiful. Doesn’t it make you feel like they’re looking inside you not only for your outside looks? I appreciate every single comment on Instagram though, as much as they are my motivation, I try to comment back to every single one of them and am not planning on changing that 🙂
What is the funniest or lamest attempt a guy has tried to know you?
When foreign guys try to send me a love message in Japanese but makes no sense. LOL annoying and too much is never sexy, guys.
It is a pleasure to feature you Reiko. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”?
Meanings of such complimentary terms differ based on people’s perspectives and fetish I guess, but ‘sexy’ is definitely what I’m aiming to become; beautiful inside out, fit rather than skinny, and an independent lady. Rather than cute or pretty, sexy sounds more mature.

Upcoming Works: I am graduating next march, and that month, I will be launching a clothing brand. Can’t tell you any details yet but the concept is just SO HOT and new! I’ll be doing and international shipping within the first year so go follow my instagram to be updated 😉
