What do you love most about cosplay and modeling?
Personally, I love how confident I feel when I am in costume or in front of a camera. It’s a great feeling getting to be someone else for awhile, especially when that person I have become is a character I admire.
Which characters have you enjoyed cosplaying most?
My favorite character to cosplay would hands down have to be Gwen Stacy. Gwen is Spider-Man’s first love, and she’s extremely intelligent yet still sexy. I always relate to Spidey’s love interest because I was always just seen as a pretty girl, but I’m currently in college for Neurology, so Gwen was always someone I looked up to. Gwen was also my first character I ever Cosplayed, so she will always have a place in my heart.
How much effort and time does it take for you to prepare for a character typically?
A majority of my costumes are more simple spandex suits, so the effort and time is typically minimal, but I have had costumes that took me months to complete.
If you could have a super power, what will you choose to have?
I think I would have to pick super speed, mainly because gas is really expensive, but also because it would be great to be with anyone who really needs me in a moments notice.
Do you have any other hobbies?
In my free time, you can usually find me studying, reading, or singing with my friends.
What do you find most attractive in the opposite sex?
Personality wise, I would have to say someone who is kind of awkward, because I find it so incredibly sweet. Physically, I would have to say freckles. I love freckles.
Lamest pickup line or attempt a guy has tried on you before?
When my current boyfriend and I first met, he yelled “I LOVE YOU” from across the convention hall and immediately turned bright red and ran away.
It’s a pleasure to feature you Ashley. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”?
I would have to define sexy as being yourself because everyone is sexy. No matter your shape, gender, size, or race.
