Hi Danielle it is a pleasure to feature you on SimplySxy. Please share with our readers a little about yourself and where you’re from?

Hello SimplySxy and thank you so much, I am flattered to have been considered! Let’s see, so a little about myself.. I am based in Nashville, TN where I am a full time freelance model. I am also a hula hoop dancer and fire spinner and perform some on the side with that as well. I enjoy traveling, urban exploration, being in nature, and coffee is my life savior. I am very compassionate for animals and have two cats of my own that are my world. Eventually I would love to be able to work both in front and behind the camera and broaden my creativity with photography.

What do you love about modeling?

There is so much that I love about modeling really! The boost of confidence it gives me is pretty nice I must say, there is not a lot that does that for me in the way it does. I love being able to create awesome art with so many different talented people, and no day is ever the same. I have met so many great people along the way who are so talented that I really admire and am happy to have met. Travel is a nice perk to the job as well, although I can’t say I have gotten to venture out as much as I want to but I am hoping to change that in 2017. Working for myself as a freelance artist is pretty satisfying; I guess there’s not a lot that I really dislike about the industry!

What’s your favorite personality trait you like about yourself?

Wow, this is actually a pretty hard question for me. I guess I would have to say not being judgemental. I like to think that I am pretty good at trying to always look into a situation without passing judgment on others and understand why people would do the things they do that maybe isn’t so understandable to most. People aren’t perfect and everyone is going through some type of battle and I just always try to keep that in mind.

Which is the most expensive item you have splurged on?

This will probably sound crazy but as far as things go that aren’t a need but a want more so, I have probably spent the most money on my LED hula hoops. I am also a hoop/fire dancer and have LED hula hoops that are pretty epic if I must say so myself.

Is there a musical artiste or band you wish to see live but haven’t done so?

I have been fortunate enough to see a lot of artist over the years and I guess Jimi Hendrix probably wouldn’t count, so as cheesy as this may sound, it has always been a dream of mine to be able to go to a Stevie Nicks concert and take my Mom with me. She’s her favorite artist but has never been able to see her live and I have always thought that would be the coolest thing to do with her.

How long do you think you can survive a zombie apocalypse?

I didn’t see that one coming, too funny! I think I’d make it a pretty good while though. I mean I may not be the strongest or most brutal person but in a situation like that, game on!

Do you believe in love at first sight?

I don’t know if I believe in love at first sight exactly but I do believe that there are energies certain people are strongly connected to each other by and that is something you can feel upon first meeting a person and it’s those feelings in that moment you don’t ever forget about them.

What’s the lamest pickup attempt a guy has tried on you?

It may not be the lamest but this is definitely a very overused and petty attempt, when I am driving down the road or at a stop light and someone is in the car beside me trying to yell at me “where is your boyfriend?” or “do you have a man?” or something along those lines and next being “well do you want a new one?” I mean seriously, this is almost an everyday thing. I will never understand this method, and guys like that wonder why they are single.

I feel when I see something as sexy it gives me that stop in your tracks, take a second to take it all in as much as you can, breathtaking moment. It can be the way someone walks into the room and catches your attention, or the way they look at you. I feel the “real” sexy is never tried and is something that just happens.

Hi Mary, thank you for taking the time to answer our questions. Please share with our readers a little about yourself and where you’re from?

I’m originally from Birmingham, AL, now living in Tampa, FL. I’ve been modeling for a few years now and absolutely love it. I’m married to my best friend, have a 5 year old step son, and a new puppy named Hank.

Which is your most memorable modeling experience so far?

My most memorable experience so far was modeling for Maxim in Vegas a few months ago. I feel like I gained so much experience in that one shoot, and of course Vegas is always a fun location to have a shoot.

Is there a favorite quote or motto you live by?

My favorite quote is by Eleanor Roosevelt “Do what you feel in your heart to be right, for you’ll be criticized anyways“.

I’ve always felt in order to be happy you have to do what’s right for you, and not listen to the haters and the doubters.

How adventurous are you?

I would say I’m pretty adventurous… I’ve held snakes, been kayaking, bouldering, white water rafting… I’m always up for a new challenge or adventure.

What is the funniest thing that has happened to you?

I’m not sure if I’m answering this correctly… But I once told a joke to a large group of people not realizing I didn’t understand the joke myself.. I couldn’t understand why everyone laughed at a completely different time than I did.

Which mythical creature would you love to have as a pet?

Definitely a unicorn. They are super cute, and also because a girl is called a unicorn when she displays admirable traits that are rare 🙂

If you had to describe yourself as a flavor, what would it be?

Chocolate? Because when someone is boring they are referred to as “vanilla” and I definitely don’t want to be vanilla.

What can a guy do to turn you off on a date?

Talk about only himself, and shows no interest in getting to know you. I also dislike when a guy is bossy or rude to waiters or waitresses if it’s a dinner date.

Sexy is a combination of being physically attractive, secure with what you have to offer, intelligence, compassion, loyalty, sense of humor, selflessness, and ambition…. I guess you could say, a unicorn haha.

My name is Amore. I’m Filipina, Spanish and white. I was born in Denver, raised in Jacksonville. I’m 24, 5’2 and have plenty of experience in runway and print modeling. I’m big on family and my favorite color is teal. I enjoy traveling, I love the beach and I’m a movie buff so I enjoy all kinds of movies in my spare time.

How did you get started into modeling?

I started early with pageants but didn’t feel that was my lane so I transitioned to modeling 3 years ago and have been active ever since.

What is the best compliment you have received?

Best compliment I’ve ever received would have to be regarding my physique and body, compliments on my work are my favorite to receive. To be acknowledged and complimented for something I work so hard on is the best.

What do you do to keep fit?

To keep fit – I exercise at least 5x a week, I stay away from bread, sodas, and sugar. I drink lots of water and even detox when needed. My favorite water is mixed with key limes, oranges, cucumbers and mint leaves.

Do you prefer sunrises or sunsets?

Definitely sunrises, I like to watch the transition from darkness to light and the beautiful colors you find during a sunrise.

If you invented a monster, what will you call it?

Monster – this one was the hardest question but I’m going to say “PayDay” because who would be scared of a monster called PayDay!

What is your most used phrase?

I don’t know … I do say that quite a lot even if I don’t mean to.

What is the lamest pickup line or attempt a guy has tried to know you?

Lamest line would have to be…

I can meet you at the restaurant but I don’t have any money so I won’t be eating. OR Let’s hangout sometime but I don’t have a car right now so come scoop me.

LA Actress & Model Emily Rainey

Hi Emily, thank you for taking the time to answer our questions. Please share with our readers a little about yourself and where you’re from?

Hey y’all! I’m so pleased that you’re here. I’m a 5’9, blonde, dedicated young woman from Sour Lake, Texas now living in LA. My little hometown has approximately 1,500 residents. In other words, moving to Los Angeles has been huge! I couldn’t be any happier! Things are moving very quickly for me, I’m thrilled to say! Here’s a few random facts about me – I’m in love with the color pink, I’m vegan, I am usually smiling, I laugh more than anyone you know, and I am a lot of fun! OH! And I’m an actress and model so be on the lookout! 😉

What is a typical day like for yourself?

A typical day for me would be hopping out of bed as soon as my alarm sounds (I can’t stand hearing alarms, so I just go ahead and get up lol) followed by eating a bowl of oatmeal and drinking warm tea or coffee while posting a good morning post on my Instagram page. Gotta keep my fans happy! Next I’d glam up a bit with some makeup for either a photoshoot, promo modeling job, or acting gig. Some time throughout the day I’d read a few pages of one of the “The Secret” series books, or a book of that kind, and sneak in either a yoga, pilates, or interval training session. Then I’d watch a couple of episodes of either “New Girl” or “How I Met Your Mother” – those are my favorite TV shows! Then I’d stretch, post for my fans again, and maybe have some more tea and get any random things around the apartment done.

How did your passion for acting and modeling come about?

I was always told when I was in my early teen years that I should model. So I started modeling at 15 and loved it! I was always told on set that I reminded people of a “movie star”. I decided I’d give theatre and acting a try! I was in my theatre arts class in my Junior year of high school, and we were studying “The Hunger Games”. I fell in love with Jennifer Lawrence’s character and performance! So, I got with acting coach Kim Terry in Houston and we decided I should go to a showcase. There I received a talent scholarship, ultimately leading me to be where my heart was – LA! 🙂

(For the record, I love J-Law but Cameron Diaz will always be my true love)

Do you have any hobbies?

Of course! I love yoga, cycling, riding horseback, baking, volleyball, and tennis.

Is there a favorite quote or motto you live by?

“If your dreams don’t terrify you, they’re not big enough.”

What is the funniest thing that has happened to you?

Hmmmmmmm. I guess I’d say filming this promo video for a celebrity Halloween House Party 2016. I was blindfolded and forced to stick my hand in the toilet where a soggy banana was waiting for me…… It went viral, though, so it was worth it! Haha look it up!

If you had the opportunity to meet anyone past or present, who will it be?

Cameron Diaz, of course!

What can a guy do to turn you off on a date?

Guys who talk to girls like they’re lesser than are not date material in my book. We are all humans, mister. So respect a lady and she’ll give you what you need and more. 😉

Beauty Queen & Cosplayer Lady Nikoru

Hi Nikoru, thank you for taking the time to answer our questions. Please share with our readers a little about yourself and where you’re from?

You got it! Hey guys, I go by the name Lady Nikoru. I was born and raised in Queens, New York and now reside in the sunshine state of Florida! I am a Registered Nurse, and heading back to school next semester for my Master’s Degree. I am a huge gamer! A few of my favorite games are Tales of Xillia, Final Fantasy VII, Overwatch, and Resident Evil. I also am a lover of anime, and I am a cosplayer. I’m pretty much the whole “nerd” package! Although, this is where my unique-ness comes in, or so everyone says.

I am also a beauty queen. I have competed for more well known beauty pageants such as Miss Florida USA. I have also figure skated my entire life, and recently transitioned into a semi-pro cheerleader.

How will you describe your fashion style?

I feel so proud to say it – I love my hobo days! I love dressing into leggings or yoga pants, toss on a nerdy or geek shirt, and going about with my errands on my days off. I like to call it “beauty queen off duty”! I’m always so glammed up when I’m doing photoshoots for modeling, cosplaying at anime conventions, cheer and pageant events. So it’s definitely nice to express my nerdom through my fashion style.

What is a typical day like for yourself?

Quoting Rihanna’s song, “Work, work, work, work, work!” It normally depends on my shifts, but after a long day of work I like to unwind and play video games. You’ll catch me on competitive play on Overwatch almost every night. If I’m not at home catching up on anime or gaming, you can find me at the gym for cheer practice!

What is your proudest accomplishment so far?

My proudest accomplishment by FAR is passing the national nursing board exam. I cannot even begin to tell you how hard I worked to get where I am with my career. I absolutely love being an RN, and couldn’t picture doing anything else in my life than caring for those in need.

Do you have any other hobbies?

Cosplay, cosplay, cosplay! I’m no master cosplayer, but I’m learning with every new cosplay I create and every convention I attend. It’s just so much fun. The whole process of assembling a costume, bringing that character to life, and meeting other people that have the same interests as you. I’m in love with the cosplay community!

What is the funniest thing that has happened to you?

Okay, so most of my childhood consisted of a lot of gaming. And I mean, a lot. I was really hooked on the GameCube game Sonic 2 Adventure Battle. I loved raising chao in that game. There was such thing as evolving your chao into an “ultimate chao’, but it took a lot of time and effort. Well me being me, I was no quitter. It took weeks of playing hours on end, and I finally got my chao to evolve. Lo and behold, it dies 20 minutes later after emerging from its cocoon. I cried for days, hahaha! I look back at it now and it just goes to show I’m a little too dedicated to gaming. Some things never change!

If you could be a cartoon character, what will you be?

Don’t give me this question! I’m such an anime nerd. It would probably have to be Erza Scarlet from Fairy Tail, because she is my queen and spirit animal. I’d definitely love to go scarlet red in the future too!

How will you describe an ideal date?

I know some girls are really self-conscious on the first few dates, but I love when a guy incorporates my interests into a date. It shows he takes the time to get to know me. Take me out bowling, or at a gaming arcade, and we can munch on finger foods! I have a competitive side and it’s a lot of fun when the guy is too.

First and foremost, I define the word sexy as being confident with the way you look. We live in a generation where people are always criticizing others on their physical appearance. I think unique is sexy. We don’t have to look a certain way to be accepted as “sexy”. I think being a nerd is sexy, I think being intelligent is sexy, and I think being a geek is sexy! Beauty goes deeper than the surface.

Well, I am half Japanese, German and Dutch. My birthday is around the corner so countdown till December 1st!

How did you get started into modeling?

I started off as a fan girl, yes I was once a fan standing in lines and attending shows. From there with the help of friends pushing me to do castings I am now where I am today.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

During my free time I enjoy cooking, being outside, going to the gym, and eating! Lol

Describe a typical day like for yourself?

My typical day is actually boring and repetitive. Wake up, get ready, work, come home, handle house stuff, gym, dinner, go to bed, repeat.

Has there been a funny or embarrassing episode that has happened to you that you can share?

At the top of my head, I can’t think of anything at the moment.

If you could shop for free at one store, which one would you choose?

Gosh, just one store? I would have to say Forever21 just because it covers most of the basics, so I’d be set with full outfits along with accessories, etc.

What do you find most attractive in the opposite sex?

I usually notice smiles, and eyes. A good personality with a good sense of humor, and someone who isn’t afraid to be spontaneous with me and try new things.

One major turn off a guy can do on a date is?

I’m not a fan of excessive sarcasm. And I hate cockiness. It’s cool to be confident but I hate cocky guys.

Texas Cosplayer Miss Mad Love

Hi there, thank you for having me! My name is Madison (Cosplay name on Instagram Miss Mad Love.)

I’m born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. I enjoy cosplay, painting, sketching, hugs, and spreading joy. I’m a Corporate Sponsor for a restaurant here in town, Social Media Marketing Grad, and Star Wars Guru. Oh and I tend to laugh a lot, I focus on the positive.

How did you get started into cosplay?

December 2015 attending Star Wars Episode 7 with Sean Maximus. I cosplayed as female Darth Vader, Sean Maximus cosplayed as Darth Maul, that I’m proud to say I had to opportunity to paint.

Seeing that premiere crowd blew me away and I loved it! Sean Maximus one day told me, “You’d make an excellent Powergirl!!!” I debuted her at Comicpalooza and loved everyone’s excitement!!!

Which characters have you enjoyed cosplaying most?

Powergirl and Lady Thor. Powergirl I got to make it my own but still keep it traditional. She’s a tough cookie and super strong which I’ve been told I am personally too. I’ve always enjoyed the Asgardian Thor and his superpowers so making this cosplay was AMAZINGLY FUN.

Is there any characters you have in mind to cosplay next?

Yes!!! I plan to cosplay as a young sexy Ursula and Tank Girl soon!! I have 2 others working on but those are going to be a complete surprise. I know y’all will enjoy though.

If you could have a super power, what will you choose to have?

If I had a superpower I would like to read minds. I’m such an open person and usually speak my mind, but I feel not a lot of people do. So it would be cool to save them the trouble.

What do you like to do in your free time besides cosplay?

I enjoy watching geeky movies, hanging out with my friends, singing in the shower, making craft runs at Hobby Lobby, collecting Pop Vinyl dolls, and eating delicious food.

Which is your favorite type of food?

Pastaaaaaaa I could eat Mac N Cheese everyday, Steak, and ice cream.

How will you describe an ideal date?

Getting picked up by my boyfriend, treated to dinner and dessert, & sitting outside getting the sweet opportunity to gaze at the stars.

Orange County Model Mel Rodriguez

Hi Mel, it’s a great pleasure to feature you on SimplySxy. Can you tell us a bit about yourself and where you are from?

I’m originally from Arizona, born and raised. I currently now live in Orange County, California. I’ve always been a beach bum and don’t plan on leaving. I’m a total girlie girl tomboy, I love the glamour, shoots and dressing up but yet I’ll be the first one to get dirty and hurt in any sport. I grew up a sports girl and love a challenge. I’m a very open minded person, and that goes for music, lifestyles, people, photoshoots and anything really. I believe a smile will make a persons day and I plan to continue making people happy!

How will you describe your fashion style?

Overall edgy but I have a mix for fashion. Some days you may catch me all glamoured up with designer dresses/pants and heels but then on other days, you may also catch me in some streetwear with some wedge Nikes.

If you could shop for free from any shop, which one will you choose?

That’s too hard of a question but believe it or not, probably between H&M or Louis Vuitton.

What are the perks you enjoy about being a model?

Meeting new people and working on fun projects!

What is the best compliment you have received?

My eyes…. they are mysterious I’ve been told.

Where do you usually love to party at?

Honestly as I get older, a day/beach party is my favorite now with good music and good people. but TIME in Orange County always is a good time as well!

What is the funniest or lamest attempt a guy has tried to know you?

A guy asked me out on a date one time while I was pumping gas, it was so cheesy and cute at the same time haha. And of course one of the silliest lines I get, “How much does a polar be a weigh?…enough to break the ice” haha horrible.

What is the first thing you notice about a guy?

Their smile and eyes!

Hawaiian Model Heather Charm

Hi Heather it is a pleasure to feature you on SimplySxy. Please share with our readers a little about yourself and where you’re from?

A little bit about myself,which I will keep real simple. Well I was born and raised in Hawaii, Maui. Blowing my candles on September 8th. I am FULL Filipino, but mistakenly people would think I am Viet, Japanese, Chinese, etc which I think is flattering in a way. I am the only child but wasn’t spoiled. My favorite color is green <3.

How did you get started into modeling?

I started when I was young and did photoshoots here and there. Then I stop for a while till I moved to Vegas and started to do gigs and shoots. At first it was all for fun, nothing really in the making, but then I’ve seen how much I have grown from it and how much everyone else likes what I do and it really motivates me to keep doing what I am doing.

What are the perks you love most about modeling?

The perks that I love most about modeling is meeting everyone. Also, the best part which is traveling.

Has there been a funny or embarrassing episode that has happened to you or you witnessed that you can share at an event?

Yes, so I was at a car event in Las Vegas which was RWLV. Towards the end of the night, they announced MISS RWLA and I had to go up stage to get my trophy, and as I was walking up the stairs, my right or left shoe popped off, and I almost tripped LOL !!!!

Do you have any hobbies?

My hobbies include going to the gym, eating and sleeping. LMAO!! ^_^

If you could shop for free at one store, which one would you choose?

I would shop at Neiman Marcus.

What do you find most attractive in the opposite sex?

Most attractive thing I find the most in the opposite sex is confidence and intelligence.

One major turn off a guy can do on a date is?

A major turn off a guy can do on a date is talk about himself!!!!! Also flexing on how much money he has. You can have all the money in the world and that still wouldn’t be enough to have me swept off my feet.

Model And Makeup Artist Francesca Ann

Hi Francesca it is a pleasure to feature you on SimplySxy. Please share with our readers a little about yourself and where you’re from?

Thanks for featuring me! Well, I’m an 18 year old college student currently living in Sacramento, California. I grew up in Cerritos, near Long Beach, before moving up north when I was 8. Currently I’m pursuing psychiatry with a minor in writing and anthropology. I have a passion for animals, traveling, reading, makeup, and music. I try to be spontaneous and live in the moment, appreciate life as much as I can. I’m a huge advocate for movements and charity foundations I believe in. Disney is my life, and I’m not ashamed of that haha. I’ll scream Disney songs at the top of my lungs in the car. Also I’ll try to pet any dog I see. I’m full Filipina, and pretty tiny – I’m 4’11” LOL.

What perks do you enjoy most about being a model?

I love being able to travel to different locations, meet new people, and the self-esteem it gives me to take all these great photos. Oh, and the free food and clothes I get occasionally. That’s dope too.

Do you have any other hobbies?

I’m the type who’s always down to try new things. I’m a makeup artist. I love love love beating my face and coming up with these new looks, and helping other people look great for their special events. I practice vape tricks in my spare time, it’s my little vice. Going to concerts and clubs are always fun.

I always take some time to do some volunteer work too. I’m really into dancing; I used to do some hip-hop and Polynesian and I’m looking to get back into it again. Writing’s a big hobby of mine, I come up with these stories off the top of my head. I do some sketching here and there too. And of course, I’m always down to go out on adventures and make new memories with my friends.

What is a typical day like for you?

My days are either crazy busy or super slow haha. But I would say on average, I wake up, cook some food, have lunch with friends, play with my dog, get some errands done, then settle in with a book or watch Netflix.

Has there been a funny or embarrassing episode that has happened to you that you can share?

There’s honestly so many! I remember one time, I was at Laguna Beach with some friends. It was in the middle of summer, so it was a busy day. The waves were pretty strong and I always let them carry me or jump into them. There was this really big wave coming, and at first I was kind of intimidated, but decided to jump in anyway. So once it hit, I just remember getting so caught off guard that it swept me off my feet and threw me around like a little rag doll. Little had I realized the strings of my bikini had loosened up from all the jostling around, and once I managed to get onto the sand and on my feet I felt really bare–my entire bikini top had come off.

Everyone was staring; parents were covering their kids eyes, my friends were crying with laughter, and I guess my top got swept up into the sea never to be found again. I had to borrow a friend’s jacket to cover up the rest of the day, but I know several people had gotten what happened on their phone. It was hilarious and mortifying all at the same time. My friends still give me shit about it to this day.

If you could shop for free at one store, which one would you choose?

Top Shop for sure. Sephora’s a close second though!

What is the lamest attempt a guy has tried to know you?

Once I was in my car on my way to a store. This guy pulled up next to me at a stop light. He was going straight, and I was in the lane to turn left. When the light went green, he turned into my lane and followed me for about 10 minutes. Once I got to the store, he kept “coincidentally” showing up in the isle where I was–even the feminine section–and trying to play it off like he just happened to be there. Later on he “accidentally” bumps into me and picks up my things, but doesn’t give them to me.

He tried starting an awkward conversation with me about what I was holding and why I was getting that stuff. I kept politely trying to end the conversation, get my things and be on my way. Then he says to me, “How about this: I’ll pay for all your things if you come over and hang out with me tonight.” This dude was doing the most. I got annoyed, turned him down, and went to get new things and left as soon as I could.

One major turn off a guy can do is?

Cockiness. I don’t care how hot you are, how many girls you get, or how much money you have. Confidence is one thing, which I like, but if you act like I’m already into you without even getting to know me, expect to get shut down.

Thank you for taking the time to answer our questions Francesca. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”?

Thanks again for having me!

The term “sexy” to me doesn’t just apply to physical traits. A person who’s confident, has ambition, is passionate about what they care about, someone who stays grounded and humble no matter how high their accomplishments are. Also, a person who’s not afraid to be themselves, admit their weaknesses, and be a dork. I guess someone who stays real and true to who they are. That’s sexy.
