What do you love about cosplay and how long have you been cosplaying?
I have been cosplaying for 15 years, mainly anime / game characters. What I love about cosplay is that I am able to bring my favourite characters to life by making their outfits, their weapons and to imagine myself as them during photoshoots. Also, I love taking photos in places with spectacular views with my cosplay.
Which character have you enjoyed cosplaying most before?
The character I have enjoyed cosplaying the most is Kiana Kaslana from Honkai Impact 3rd.
Is it challenging to create a costume and the props from scratch?
It certainly is, bear in mind anime and game characters are created to fit their story’s aesthetics and not drawn to let you cosplay them. How to keep the character’s look as original as possible and how to adapt them to real life is a true challenge.
What other hobbies and interests do you have?
I enjoy taking photos, not as a model, but as a photographer. I enjoy taking street photos and to shoot in film, FYI my favourite film camera is Rollei 35, and I have 8 of them.
If you could have a super power, what will it be?
I know not many like the film, but I do like the power of the Green Lantern ring. I can create anything from nothing as long as I have a strong will, and I have a super strong will when I know the deadline to conventions is like only hours away. LOL.
Would you rather have the ability to control objects or teleport?
Teleport, so I don’t have to spend time getting stuck in traffic.
What do you not get about guys?
Everything~ haha~ I think one gender can never understand another.

I think sexy is not just taking off clothes and flashing your body, it is the vibe a person gives. Being confident is sexy. I believe whatever you wear can be sexy as long as you have that confidence in your eyes.
I have always been super passionate and into fashion! I will say I get inspiration from vintage and street style looks! I do not have a specific shopping spot but I do like thrifting and DIY! I often buy clothes from thrift stores and I will DIY something from it. For example, I will buy an oversize denim jacket and make it into a cropped frayed bottom denim jacket!
Do you have any favorite workouts or exercises?
YES I do! I started my fitness journey two years ago and I am so happy that I changed my lifestyle because of that! I personally really like abs workout and weight lifting! My workout routine usually focuses on abs, booty and legs! My favorite is SQUAT weight lifting because it makes me feel so much stronger and it also works out very well!
Is there any food or drink you can’t live without?
That is a fun question! Actually I do have something in mind! I don’t think I can live without Avocados and coffee because I literally need to have those two things everyday! I am addicted to coffee and it really helps me to start the day off better! I just love coffee and avocado toast in the morning! Best thing everrrr!
If you could change one thing about the world, what will it be?
I wish there was no poverty and that no one was homeless! Sometimes it is really heartbreaking to see them suffering and it is honestly very unfair! I hope we can help them so that everyone can live safely under one roof!
Have you been in an embarrassing situation before that is funny now when looking back?
I cannot count how many embarrassing situations that I was in before but one time, I was trying to order take out in an Italian restaurant. That was my first year of moving to the US and unfortunately, my British English doesn’t work so well here.
I called the restaurant and said “Hello, I would like to order for take-away.” Then, the staff was so confused and I kept thinking, “did I say something wrong?” because the staff didn’t understand a word that I was saying but after that, I learned it is “take out”!
Would you rather be able to taste colors or see smells?
I would rather taste colors because I always wonder what colors taste like if it makes sense! I always think pink will taste like cotton candy for some reason haha!
What is the funniest or lamest attempt a guy has tried to know you?
I think the lamest move was that time a guy who was the restaurant manager tried to ask me to fill in a “customer review” form just to get my number. Of course, he texted me afterwards and I was like, “I did not expect that!” I was genuinely giving suggestions and reviewing the food in the form.

Thank you for asking that because I always want to remind my audience that “sexy” isn’t just about physical beauty! Your confidence or self-love can also define how sexy you are! Wearing fewer or more revealing clothing is not the only way to feel “sexy” but having confidence and talent can also be the way to feel sexy!
I totally understand that society has high standards of beauty, especially towards women. I always want to empower women and inspire others to be who they want to be! Self love should always be our first priority and putting yourself first is not selfish!
I’m a young model/influencer since for about five months. I started by taking pics in my room, showing my new clothes and makeup to a few amount of followers. Then I started taking it seriously and tried to develop my skills and account. I’m from Belgium and currently living there.
How will you describe your fashion style and where do you draw inspiration from?
I usually wear clothes which I’m feeling comfortable in but I always try to make it look neat and trendy. I would say I don’t really have a style because I can feel confident in baggy jeans but also in a mini dress or even a bikini.
About my inspiration, I usually find it on Instagram and Pinterest but it happens sometimes that I just see a girl in the street and fall in love with her outfit, and try to recreate it with my own pieces later.
What is your beauty regime like and do you use any products regularly?
I do have a skincare routine for the night and the morning, I love washing my face with the Bebe Germany products, they help me in having a clear and clean skin every day.
For my makeup, it’s important for me to use always the same products, as I have a sensitive skin, I need to be careful. So I mostly use Essence Cosmetics and L’Oréal as well.
My must have would be the Telescopic mascara from L’Oreal.
How is a typical day like for you?
My day normally starts around 10am, I wake up and have a healthy breakfast (when it’s possible). When I don’t have the time, then I just drink an ice coffee and eat any fruit. After that I get ready, sometimes to take pics or just to go pick a package that I get, seeing some family members/friends.
I do skip lunch everyday because I need about 2-3 hours to get ready.
I do my activities till about 7pm then go back home to have my one hour sports session (I normally do fitness/dance/running), then take a shower before eating my dinner.
After dinner, I start spending time on my phone, go on Instagram and answer to new messages, posting new pics and some stories. Then around 2-3am, I go to bed.
Do you have any hobbies or interests?
I love dancing since I was a kid, I used to have dance class when I was younger but I had to stop and never started again. But I do dance everyday and I think about having a career in dance/fitness class in the future.
Would you rather be able to teleport or read minds?
I’d rather be able to teleport because it would be fun to be wherever I want, whenever I want. And also because I don’t really want to know what people think about me. I would say reading through minds could be destroying, while teleporting is more like a super power.
Are you more of a lingerie or bikini babe?
I feel more like a bikini babe, because even if I don’t care about people’s opinions, I know that some people can still have bad thoughts about posing in lingerie.
I do pose in both bikini and lingerie but I still feel more comfortable in bikini.

I never find it really funny when a guy tries to know me, but the lamest I remember is some guy that reached me with a girls’ account asking me for tips about makeup and clothes.

Hi! I’m Swoosie (which is pronounced Suzie)! I come from a mixed race background with Thai, Chinese, and European culture. I’m from the Bay Area but moved to Southern California for college! How will you describe a typical day for yourself?
A typical day in my life would be waking up and setting my intentions for the day. It only takes 60 seconds and really helps to keep track of what I would like to accomplish for the day! After I get out of bed I start cooking breakfast, making a latte, and watching a quick video like Saturday Night Live, Mark Weins, or Fuck That’s Delicious. I love to eat an all American breakfast with eggs, bacon, and toast.
After that, I start working on my designs for my self-care account, editing or shooting videos for my foodie channel, or marketing and planning content for my social media. I have a bad habit of eating out or ordering takeout, so sometimes for lunch or dinner I may go on a little food adventure. Some days, I also volunteer for a local mental health nonprofit by helping them with grant writing, digital content creation, and social media management. I am also a freelance resume writer since I previously worked in the recruiting industry, so some days I also help edit and recreate peoples’ resumes. I feel like I do a lot of random and varied things now that I think about it!
At the end of the day I try to relax and self-care by watching some shows, doing my skincare routine, or listening to the podcast On Purpose by Jay Shetty. Before I go to sleep, I write down a list of things I need to do the next day and then I try to meditate.
Which 3 types of food or drink can you not live without?
This is so difficult BUTI CANNOT live without Thai food, Italian food, and Japanese food. I love eating sticky rice, rad na, and Thai curry. Yum! I also cannot live without pasta! That is the one food I’m always down to eat. Japanese food is very diverse and I absolutely love takoyaki, croquettes, and sushi! All you can eat sushi is the best!
What incredible life hack do you know that is invaluable to you?
I’m a master improviser so I try to problem-solve with creativity. I was making a pizza one day during my broke-college student days, and I realized that I didn’t have a rolling pin for the dough, but I did have a baseball bat. I wrapped part of it in plastic wrap and used it as a rolling pin for the pizza dough. Luckily, my roommate didn’t judge me when she walked into the kitchen. I’m also great at finding the best deals for traveling which might not be a life hack but it sure feels like one.
Is there something you’ve always wanted to learn but have yet to find the time for it?
Yes! So many things! I’ve always wanted to learn how to speak Thai but I keep procrastinating and they also do not have it on Duolingo. Currently, I am practicing French and Japanese though. I’d also love to learn an instrument and different coding languages. There’s so many things I want to learn but those are on the top of my list! I’ve just been procrastinating on them.
If you could time travel, what will you like to witness or experience?
If I could time travel, it would be into the past to find out the secrets of famous mysteries and world wonders. I’d like to know exactly what Stonehenge was and its purpose. I would also go back a few hundred years into the past to show them the inventions we have now and blow their minds (and perhaps become filthy rich). I would also want to have conversations with famous figures like Cleopatra or the man in the iron mask and be like, “So how exactly were the pyramids built?” or “So who are you actually?”.
I get nerdy when it comes to history and discovering the greatest secrets! It would be so cool to go back in time to find out! I don’t think I would travel into the future, because I believe we all can change the future through our actions, so there’s no point to me.
What is a funny attempt a guy has tried to know you?
When I was in my high school Japanese class, I sat next to a guy who probably had an Asian fetish who asked, “Hey, you’re cute. Where are you from?” I knew exactly what he was trying to ask but I didn’t let him have it. I told him, “I’m from L.A.!” He asked again, “No I mean, where are you REALLY FROM?”

Hello, SimplySxy! My name is Patricia, a 19-year old Instagram content creator from the Philippines whose niches are skincare, beauty and fashion. I am currently a college student at Mapúa University taking up B.S. Civil Engineering.
Back then, I had never thought of being a content creator as I was too shy and had little confidence in myself. But, this pandemic led me to explore new things and so I started joining different local brand ambassador searches way back July 2020 as a pastime. Unexpectedly, I had my first brand collaboration last November 2020 with a small local brand.

How will you describe your fashion style and where do you love to shop from?
I can’t really say that I have a certain fashion style because I’m more of a mix-and-match type, just playing around with the clothes that I have and styling them to look good. I also prefer wearing clothes that are comfortable so that I can move freely.
Since I am not much of a spender when it comes to clothes, I rarely buy from malls. I buy most of them from Shopee or Lazada and they usually cost less than a hundred pesos each.
If you could learn anything in this world, what will it be?
There are actually a lot of things that I want to learn but I’m going to keep this simple. It is my dream to be able to travel around the world so I would love to learn and be fluent in many different languages.

Being sexy is about being confident with our bodies, whatever shape or size it might be. We are all sexy in our own way and we do not need to have bodies like the models or celebrities that we see. Embrace your own body and be happy and confident with it. Don’t mind what other people might say because you are beautiful no matter what, so keep being you.
I started free-lance modeling when I was 16. Originally, it was something I occasionally did, when I was asked by local businesses to represent them, or specific products. Back then, I didn’t use social media as the marketing platform that I do now. When I was 27, I made my Instagram account. That was the moment where things really started to change. I opened myself up to an international platform of modeling opportunities, and collaborations.
I made my account in November 2019, right before COVID-19 made its global hit. People were glued to their devices and were hyper active on most social media platforms. It took a year to build up my account to about 25,000 followers. Since December 2020, I book about 2-3 photo shoots a week. I use these shoots to advertise my collaborations with brands, all while having brands/photographers exclusively reaching out to me!
I never pay for a collaboration, an item, shipping, a photo, a page post, or anything. Don’t fall for that guys! Hold firm to your worth as an upcoming model (or future talent). It weans out the collaborations or jobs that are not worth your time. Now, at over a year and a half in, I have over 50,000 followers. Consistency, reliability, and networking pays off.
Which is a memorable or unforgettable photoshoot you have done before?
There is a studio in Atlanta that was my launchpad for starting my “Instagram” portfolio. It is called Studio PrimeTime. I remember searching on Instagram for Atlanta photographers my first few months on IG. If you are serious about starting your career, I would highly recommend this. You aren’t someone until people start to take you seriously. I came across a wide network of people to collaborate with.
Back then, I was putting in the work to find people to work with. Also collaboration was just that; collaboration. There was no pay or free items involved. It basically came down to an agreed upon photo shoot, in return for photos to build my portfolio. I wouldn’t say there was a certain shoot that was unforgettable, but rather a general place. Business continues when people remember you. People remember you based on the relationships you build with the photography community, as well as your professionalism and consistency with brands.
Studio Primetime offers a unique business model, in which they attract and attain photographers and models from across the U.S. It could be a photographer/model training opportunity, a novice collaboration role, or an experienced paid collaboration with publishing. There is no shortage of beautiful people. You get out of the industry what you put into it.
Do you allow yourself any cheat days or guilty pleasures when it comes to food?
Haha, always! Life is one day at a time. I plan my meals for the next week each Wednesday. I use a grocery app that allows me to do curbside pickup. As the week goes on and my food ideas change, I just continue to modify my grocery pickup order on my grocery app. I pick up my food on Sunday.
Then, I mentally map out my protein count (and anything else that I need) as each day goes on. I allow myself options. I listen to my body/how I feel. I will never compromise my mental health or daily serenity over something so silly as a few calories. There are so many healthy products out there that taste good.

How is a typical day like for you?
There’s a phrase, “don’t quit your day job,” and there’s definitely something to that. I have a professional occupation, outside of modeling. To me, modeling is a hobby that I prioritize several times a week. I still go to work 40 hours a week, spend time with my family/friends, and try to stay grounded.
If you could be a fictional character, who will you be?
When I was little, I always wanted to be Ariel from The Little Mermaid! I liked the idea of being an underwater princess. I also loved her red hair. As an adult, I’d probably still make the same choice! A lot of people tell me I look like Elsa from the Disney movie Frozen. So, here’s a photo that looks like her!

I’ve had guys make up careers and life stories to try to impress me. One guy pretended that he rented out a restaurant and said that he had paid 10k for a section, just to try to get me to come over (the staff said he didn’t). T

I have yet to find a way to perfectly describe my fashion style in one word, but I would say my style is cute and anime-like. My outfits are usually pastel or all black. Not only do I love modeling and cosplaying, but I also love dancing. Before the pandemic, I took dance classes 3-4 times a week. My favourite dance styles are urban sexy pop, jazz funk, and heels. What is a typical day like for you?
On weekdays, I work at the clinic but on weekends, I usually have a photoshoot scheduled. I start my morning with skincare and preparing what I need for the shoot. Then, I get my hair and makeup done either by myself or the makeup artist that I am working with. The shoot is either outdoors or at a studio which usually lasts for a few hours. Afterwards, I would go get food and drinks with friends before heading back home at night.

I have a sweet tooth so I pretty much love anything that is sweet! My go to shots would be polar bear shots!

I would rather be able to teleport so that I could easily travel to all the places I want to visit around the world. I would not have to deal with long flights, and I could save the money that would have been spent on plane tickets for something else!

I would learn every language in the world so that I could communicate with everyone I meet without being restricted by language barriers. This would go great with the ability to teleport!

I particularly love Jennifer Aniston’s fashion style, be in on her role in the hit TV series “Friends” or off-cam. I also love Blake Lively’s fashion style. I enjoy dressing up once in awhile, but most days, you would see me in a plain tee, jeans, and a pair of sneakers.
What is your proudest achievement so far?
My proudest achievement by far is giving life to the most beautiful human being I have ever laid eyes on and watching her grow up beautifully day-by-day. Being able to set a good example and give her all of her needs and the best for her – that is my biggest achievement. This bypasses all other achievements I have, such as my medical school graduation, passing the Physician Licensure Examination, as well as getting into a good residency program, by a long shot, although I value all of these very much, too.
How will you describe a typical day for yourself?
My typical day would involve getting up early for work, as well as long hours in the hospital and Operating Room. On off days, it involves being a full-time mother. From waking up early to cuddle with my daughter, to meal preparations, as well as giving her a bath, facilitating play time, going on walks, reading her stories, singing and dancing, and putting her to sleep. I juggle all these as efficiently as I could and most days, I enjoy every minute of it.
If you can change one thing about the world, what will it be?
This is a challenging question, for I have so many things in my mind that I would like to change about the world if given the chance. If I were to pick one, however, it would be education. I don’t mean just the education system worldwide, but education at its core. I would like to see a world where each child is brought up well and educated properly right from the child’s first breath in their own household. If each child is properly educated from the start and then reinforced with better curriculum in all schools, I believe we could create a community where people will be open for intelligent discussion of disagreements and actually be able to formulate solutions to all the other problems the world has, such as healthcare for all, inequality, poverty, abuse and corruption.
Is there something you’ve always wanted to learn but have yet to find the time for it?
Yes! Given my hectic schedule in Residency Training, there are several things I have yet to make time for. This would include learning how to bake and scuba dive. I’m a huge fan of sweets. I love cookies, cakes, cupcakes, and the like. I am fascinated by the art of doing it. Apart from the fact that most of the time, baked desserts are aesthetically pleasing to look at, I honestly enjoy getting a taste of different variations of one product. I can’t wait to be able to try doing it, too. In some ways, I find similarities in my chosen field, surgery, and baking – the calculated step-by-step approach, but still with one’s personal touch. I want to learn how to scuba dive, as well. I’ve tried it once when I was around 12 years old and I remember feeling so disconnected and connected with the universe at the same time. I got to witness the world undersea, which was so vast that it left me in awe. I would like to professionally learn how to do it though if given more time.
Which 3 things do you love to do most in the city you live in?
Pre-pandemic, 3 things I love to do here in Manila are watch movies in cinemas, dine out (usually just in my favorite restaurants), and get a couple of beers with friends. Given the current situation though, I have adjusted accordingly.
3 things I love to do now mostly at home are play with my daughter, watch series and movies on Netflix, as well as unwind with a couple of beers at home every now and then.
Does chivalry still exist today?
Among honorable people, I believe it still does. It exists, but I am not particularly fond of the concept. I once heard that chivalry is just benevolent sexism. In my field, the surgical field, it used to be overpopulated with men and a whole lot of testosterone. Nowadays, women have stepped up in the field. The misconception chivalry once implicated regarding women’s usual roles in housekeeping and the like – I believe these are all outdated. I am not a fan of chivalry and the concept of women being damsel in distress, needing the help of a knight in shining armor. I believe that in this day and time, the concept of chivalry needs an update. Maybe it would be better if it’s replaced with the most basic concept of it all – courtesy. Courtesy, which should apply to both men and women alike – every single day. It would be much better if chivalry simply became common courtesy, but that’s just me.

“Sexy” is ultimately the state of being comfortable and genuinely at peace with yourself – your body and your overall well-being. As a Physician, I advocate for healthy living and being at one’s top shape given the various health implications of obesity and the like, but there should never be any pressure or judgment from the society about that. Ultimately, the manner in which one shines from within – that, for me, is sexy.
