    I always look up to the creative outcome of fashion wherein the influential things that inspires me about my fashion style are celebrities that are into fashion since it is really important to me since this is one of my contents that highlights my social media also. I usually shop on H&M, Shein and many more.

    Do you follow a regular workout or beauty regime?

    I always start my beauty regimen on mornings, I use (sunscreens, moisturizers, mist) to have a refreshing skin. Then I start doing my regular workout, (jogging/walking, squats, push-ups, lunges etc.) for me to be productive throughout the day since doing a regular workout can improve your muscle strength and boost your endurance.

    At night, I continue my beauty regimen. This is my favourite thing to do before going to bed after a very tired and long day but I don’t use too many products on my face since I have a sensitive skin but my everyday beauty regimen are cleansers, toner, eye cream, moisturiszers, and lip scrub.

    How is a typical day like for you?

    During weekdays, I usually wake up at 7 or 8 to take shoots on my brand products endorsements. I usually take pictures/videos or do Vlogs. It depends on the brand that I am collaborating with. In the afternoon, I start editing my pictures/videos and do some captions too. I always review the product well before doing a caption so it really takes a lot of time for me searching and gathering up the information.

    I post my pictures around 5pm on my social media accounts, then I start engaging with my co-influencers. So 5pm onwards is really a busy time for me. I always stick to this routine (Monday-Saturday) and Sunday is my only rest day which is my me time/pamper day. 

    What have you always wanted to do or learn but have yet to find the time for it?

    Recently, I have been so busy doing some shoots and my schedules are so tight because of workload. I realized that I lack something more of a “me time”, “pamper day” or a long week for me to rest. I want to travel or at least go outside and just have fun without using social media. I just can’t do it now because of the pandemic and I guess because of a tight schedule. 

    Have you been in an embarrassing situation before that is funny now when looking back?

    I had this experience wherein I was running to my classroom since I was late for class. A lot of students were on their way while running up stairs and then I accidentally tripped going up and I helped myself stand up and then run again like nothing happened.  

    Would you rather be able to play every musical instrument or master every type of sport?

    This is really a hard question for me since I love playing musical instruments and at the same time a very sporty person. But in the basis of this question, I would rather master every type of sport since I love making my body active and healthy although to be able to play every musical instrument just makes you develop your coordination and skills.

    What turns you off on a date?

    Simple answer, being late, and rudeness.

    Sexy is showing your true self without dressing up or trying hard, in short, I define sexy when I look at the mirror.

    Pretty much Pinterest is my go-to source of inspiration!

    There are tons of trendy fashion styles ranging from high street fashion to soft girl aesthetic 💐💘

    I usually am more open to trying different styles so long as it complements my body shape and boosts my confidence in general.

    I usually prefer shopping online since it is cheaper than retail stores, which means that I can purchase more items (save save save $$).

    How much of a foodie are you and what are your favorites?

    OHH I’m the biggest foodie when it comes to desserts 🍨

    I’ll go to the extent of travelling to cafes/restaurants that are out of the way, since most unique pastries or desserts are always hidden somewhere HAHAH.

    I love love Korean cuisine as well! Tteokbokki, BBQ, Bingsu … AHH the list goes on!

    Which flavor best describes you?

    I would say chocolate 🍫..

    I love them in every form (cakes, sweets, drinks, ice cream)

    It’s funny how I would never get bored or sick of chocolates since they come in so many different varieties! Which correlates to my openness in exploring new ideas and different experiences despite having strong opinions.

    Do you believe in any superstition?

    I definitely believe that Karma exists in the world and it could happen to anyone.

    It taught me to be careful of how I treat others as actions do come with consequences.

    Have you been in an embarrassing situation that is funny now when looking back?

    HAHAHA, as a kid I’ve been labelled as the clumsiest girl 👧🏻

    There was an incident where I was running towards the washroom in a luxury mall overseas and fell in front of a LV shop while a huge crowd stared at me…

    Me being the most dramatic kid EVER, I cried and I told my parents that I couldn’t get up like I was about to die.

    NGL though my acting 🎭 skills was pretty on point…Should have pursued an acting career honestly.

    If you could learn anything in this world, what will it be?

    I want to learn the power of being confident and advocating self love.

    It’s hard when there’s social media in the picture and there’s bound to be comparisons made…

    Being fixated to the ideal beauty standard stops people from realising how unique they are and everyone has their own insecurities as well.

    We are all humans and it is normal.

    What turns you off on a date?

    A guy that talks continuously without listening, showing disrespect, and splitting the bill on the first date.

    I love Italian and spicy food.

    I would like to experience life in another country, Singapore is too stressful.

    Is there something you’ve always wanted to do or learn but yet to find the time for it?

    I’ve always wanted to learn dancing and I actually attended some lessons previously but I stopped the lessons because there’s too much going on IRL and I don’t have time for my own ‘hobbies’.

    I am honored to be featured at SimplySxy.  Hi Everyone I’m Joanna Gregorio, but most people call me “Jow”. I am 18 years old and currently studying a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.  Some people think that I am “mataray” but little they did not know, I am really a shy-type of person at first but crazy and talkative when you already know me, but my attitude also depends on the person I’m comfortable with.

    I am a Brand Ambassador of some local brands and also I do vlogging but I temporarily stopped it due to my busy days. In my spare time, I love to take photoshoots to practice my photography skills. I also do some Tiktok videos and sometimes create different makeup looks. One more thing about me is that my hobbies are eating while watching movies ft. rainy days, reading some wattpad books, and writing a story and poem. I also sing but I am not that good hehe.

    In the future, I dream of becoming a doctor someday. Ever since I was young, this is the job that I really want to become. I think my main source of inspiration to pursue this career comes from an innate desire to help people and find great satisfaction in providing care to people who need medical attention. I am also a person who thrives on being challenged and I always have new goals to achieve, so it will perfectly suit me.

    What is your fashion style and where do you draw your inspiration from?

    My fashion style actually depends on my mood. They are really a unique combination of fashion categories like trendy, vintage, chic, aesthetic but most of the time I am that kind of “hubadera” person when it comes to wearing clothes. I don’t know why but I feel more comfortable and sexy, at the same time it helps me to build my self-confidence. One of my favorites and inspiration in fashion style are Kendall Jenner and Zeinab Harake, both of them have a different fashion taste and I really love how they slay on their looks and style.

    Which 3 fashion or beauty accessories are a must have in your collection?

    The top 3 that I must have in my collection are necklaces, I look more elegant when I am wearing a necklace. Lipstick/Lip Tint, it can instantly brighten up my face and looks especially when I look pale sometimes. Lastly is perfume, I am the kind of person that can’t leave without having a perfume, because for me it is very important not only to look good but also to smell fragrant.

    How will you describe a typical day for yourself?

    When I wake up, I fixed away my bed and prepare myself for the day. I start my day assisting and helping my younger brother on his modules and online class and then after that, I do some household chores. During a typical work week, one of my biggest tasks is accomplishing all of my school requirements. I spend most of my time attending my online class. I also spend a few hours each day studying and reviewing our lectures.

    A lot more of college is spent doing work than I expected. Although I have a lot of free time, I have to manage it wisely to balance the workload from all of my classes.  However, much of the rest of the time is for me to have fun, doing some activities that will relax myself. In reality, It can be difficult to prioritize and stop procrastinating when you feel like you have so much time to do what you need to do.

     A typical college day can include a lot of time not spent in class, but that doesn’t mean that the time is not spent working. But, that’s not to say that there isn’t time for what you enjoy either! Managing your time is the most important part of college, and the most important to success.

    What do you love doing in the city you live in?

    I really love to go shopping, walking, and travelling. I also love the city itself. Because the culture of the people, we relate well with each other.

    Is there something you’ve always wanted to learn but have yet to find the time for it?

    If there’s something that I’ve always wanted to learn, is to play some musical instruments like drums, piano, and guitar. As of now, I am still practicing my skills on playing the guitar and piano, and I really want to enhance my skills for it but because of my busy schedule, I have no time to practice.

    What incredible life hack do you know that is invaluable to you?

    I don’t know if I am the only one who is doing this, but let me share with you guys some hacks that I’ve learned. If you like to apply mascara, try to apply petroleum jelly to your eyelashes before putting on mascara or mix petroleum jelly with mascara so that the mascara fits better when applied to the eyelashes and it won’t just spread. This hack is very simple but it is very effective for me plus it also helps our eyelashes lengthen quickly.

    What do you not get about guys?

    The thing that I don’t get about guys is when they are with the right person and they are given all the efforts, love and care they want but they can’t be satisfied and they are still able to cheat.

    For me being SEXY has no weight limit, sexy means to be yourself, and you don’t need to be accepted by others.

    Being sexy and beautiful at the same time is being true to what you say, what you do, and who you are.  As a woman, I am sexy for my femininity and the intuition that only females possess.  As women, we should not place ourselves in competition but embrace our differences for we are ALL beautiful and sexy.

    I define myself SEXY because I find the courage to love myself even amidst criticism and doubt. I have always struggled with body image issues, whether it’s my oily skin, my belly fats, and my hairy skin…. it’s always there, because they are part of me. I can say this – I am confidently SEXY because I allow love to rule me.

    To my dearest girls out there, don’t let others hold you back from being yourself. Don’t let others’ opinions scare you into being someone else. Instead choose to be you, flaws and all. To be able to be yourself is inspiring, beautiful and sexy, because you are putting yourself out there (without fear).

    I used to envy people who are well spoken like the news broadcasters on TV, because I was a singer before I became an emcee, so I tried to combine my singing skills into words so it sounds beautiful when I speak.

    How long have I been hosting? I have started hosting back 15 years or more in which it’s already been a part of my life.

    Which is the best compliment you have received?

    Every good or bad compliment to me was the best as it means that they are paying attention to the things that I say, and if it’s one of the best ones, it should be, *Wow your voice is unforgettable*

    Do you have a beauty regime that you follow regularly to look so beautiful?

    My beauty regime should be, putting on as many facial masks if possible,  at least have one mask per day. The best remedy of all time is to get my skin hydrated with serums and lotions when I’m in an aircon room and use sun block because we are living in Malaysia with hot weather. Lastly, Never Be Lazy For Beauty.

    How will you describe a typical day like for yourself?

    I want to wake up every day with a smile and find myself surrounded with positive vibes, I wish I can duplicate myself and get to do more things for there are many things that I wish I can do at the same time in a day. I wish I can bring fun laughter and joy to the people that I know every day and throw away all the stress of work aside.  

    I’m simple as, if you are reading this means, it’s another milestone that I have achieved.

    Is there something you’ve always wanted to do but have yet to find the time for it?

    I’ve always, and have tried for years and years to take time to learn Chinese but it never happened. I believe there is just one thing that was missing in me, that is to be able to write and read mandarin. I never give up trying to use mandarin to host events, but it sounded like a foreigner that speaks imperfect mandarin. Luckily the turn out wasn’t that bad, in fact, some audience thought it was a standup comedy act…

    Have you been in an embarrassing situation before that is funny now when looking back?

    The most embarrassing and funny situation that I have encountered was that I have many Chinese fans and therefore they added me into their group chats. Every now and then, they will send greetings etc. on the group chat. One day there was a beautiful quote picture with blue skies, heart shapes, and blessing signs, just to make sure it’s something positive so I used the photo at my google translate to see what it meant as it was fully in mandarin.

    The translation means blessing of the day. May god bless you and you are always in our hearts.  So, to be a supportive person, immediately I gave a thumbs up. The group chat was very quiet after that, then one of my friends rang me and said, ““Do you know what you just did? Why do you give thumbs up for a condolence!!!!” Omg, then I realized it was indeed the most embarrassing and funny moment.  It makes me realize that actions speaks louder than words.

    What do you not get about guys?

    I think most guys are Big Boys forever, because most online games are still played by the majority of guys of all ages. While we women or girls will get hooked on shopping. LOL

    Try any game apps and you see lots of guys and men are still number one fans.

    Sexy is just sometimes related to just fashion and other times, on the gestures of what a person projects. Sexiness doesn’t always have to be revealing your body; a very sharp glance can be sexiest to me. It’s always a sexy you deep down, but when, where and how is what matters most. Just don’t be sexy for the wrong occasion and the wrong reason.

    I grew up originally in Metro Manila, now residing in one of the most peaceful beach provinces, here in La Union. I do cook a lot; it became more than a hobby because I’m happy when my family and closest friends’ tummies are full.

    I also started an online business when the pandemic started, it was a Sushi Bake and Pickled Mango business. I am a very outgoing person and I love to travel. Before, city life amazes me but now I have come to realize that simple island life is the best. 

    How will you describe your fashion style and where do you love to shop from? 

    I was raised in a nice household, where being appreciative is a must. Owning fancy clothes and bags gets me sometimes but shopping in thrift stores is what I love the most. I appreciate people and their small businesses, because for me, I would rather choose to wear something that was made from pure hard work rather than just wearing something for the brand and price it possesses. 

    If you could learn anything in this world, what will it be? 

    If I could learn anything in this world, it would probably be able to teach others to share and be kind to themselves and to the people around them. The world that we are living right now is filled with so much hate and envy, If I could just teach people to be kind, then we could have a better place to live in. Not everyone is having a great day, choose to be kind always. 

    What favorite past times do you have? 

    Since I am living near-shore, I used to do short surfing when it allowed back then, but oftentimes cooking is really my thing. I am also doing a livestreaming from time to time, to share about my day to my viewers and friends. 

    On a scale of 1-10, how much of a foodie are you? 

    10! Since cooking is really my thing, I love trying different delicacies every now and then. For me, food is the gateway to the soul. I love food that much. 

    Would you rather have the ability to fly or to talk to animals? 

    For me, I would rather choose having the ability to talk to animals. For years, we have seen different violence to animals and it pains me to see them being the tester for the things that us humans use. They do not have the ability to speak and so they cannot fight back when they’re in pain. Animals deserve safe space too, and if I could, I would do something for them. 

    Which 3 accessories do you always pack in your luggage when you travel? 

    Basically, I always travel light. The top 3 important things in my bag or luggage would be wallet, phone and of course my garments. Not all areas are selling clothes or slippers so it is very important to pack at least 3 sets for security. 

    What turns you off on a date? 

    I do not want to be engaged in someone who does not have respect to the servers, waiters and waitresses. I do not like being with someone who is rude to people who are working in service. Also, the first thing I’m looking for in a date is when their nails and teeth are clean.

    For me, the word “sexy” is often stereotyped as a sexual thing. No. For me, sexy is when a person knows what he/she is doing, is driven and is very independent and intellectual. Sexy is not just a term to describe a woman’s curve on her body. Sexiness is when you are dedicated and you know your strength and weaknesses. Sexy is about being passionate about yourself, and being able to be of help to others.

    I’ve never had any inspiration for my fashion choices. I am more into simple wear such as jeans, shirt and shorts. Since I started as a content creator, I started buying girly clothes like crop tops and skirt to use it for my contents and gradually adjusting to be comfortable with them so I can wear them too in public. I enjoy purchasing clothes from Shopee because the majority of them are reasonably priced.

    Do you follow a regular exercise or beauty regime?

    I don’t exercise on a regular basis, but when I’m feeling down and want to relax, I always do Chloe Ting’s workout. For my beauty routine, I always watch Jan Angelo’s YouTube videos.

    Which beauty or fashion accessories are a must have in your collection?

    For beauty, it is always the mascara, lip tint, powder for my oily skin and blusher. For fashion accessories, I always go for a necklace or watch.

    How is a typical day like for you?

    As a college student, I spend the majority of my time on academics, then if I have any free time for 2 hours or more, I do photo shoots for my Instagram content, then I do my responsibilities in household chores and lend some time to myself to watch videos on Tiktok or series.

    Is there something you’ve always wanted to learn but have yet to find the time?

    I’ve always wanted to learn more, to the point where I can’t tell you all of them one by one. I am always eager to discover new things as I grow older, and I believe that this is what defines me as a person.

    If you could change one thing about the world, what will it be?

    Cruelty is one thing I want to see changed in the world. Life has become increasingly difficult for us as time passes because not all of us have the means to live better lives, not all of us are accepted for whom we are, and there are numerous other factors to consider. If everyone chooses love over hatred, the world will be a better place to live for all in my opinion.

    What do you not get about the opposite sex?

    In this type of topic, I’m trying to educate myself as much as possible so that I don’t have any questions or curiosity when it comes to opposite sex.

    I like to fill up my free time with a lot of activities, such as working, brainstorming to boost my side business and do some yoga or light exercises before going to bed.

    For me, earrings, bracelets, and necklaces are most important because they will add some highlights to your outfit. By wearing different accessories with same outfit can also show a lot of styles, such as elegant, swag or sweet, it really depends on your choices of fashion accessories.

    Is there something you’ve always wanted to do but have yet to find the time for it?

    I’ve always wanted to travel abroad with my loved one, but I haven’t had a chance for it because of the time and the pandemic situation.

    The flavor that best describes me is spicy. I’m energetic all the time, like to socialize with others and sometimes a little bit grumpy when things are not going as well as I planned, but I’m trying my best to manage my emotions. I like to challenge spicy food as well.

    What do you not get about the opposite sex?

    I don’t understand why boys like to play games so much. They can even ignore or quarrel with their girlfriends for playing games.

    How do you define “Sexy”?

    I think sexy includes both physical appearance and personality of that person. No matter what a person did if he/she has self-confidence, it is very sexy. Also, people who have a perfect figure and wearing some fitting outfits that brings out her advantage, I personally think that is very sexy.

    Hi! I am Shi Hui and I am from sunny Singapore and I am a blogger, YouTuber, writer and author of, ‘Speed Dating: The Story of Dating 10 Guys in 3 Months’. I also live stream gameplays on Twitch as Gaming Migraine from time to time.

    How long have you been a blogger and what made you decide to start your website?

    I started IreviewUread in 2012 while I was in studying for my diploma. With a forgiving curriculum, I decided to open a blog for me to review beauty products. Back then, my only idea of skincare products is pimple cream and moisturizer. I gathered various complimentary beauty samples and researched more about the subject before crafting the blog posts.

    Soon, companies started to endorse IreviewUread and the blog have been running ever since.

    What content do you usually love to share?

    When I first started, I focused on beauty products and services. Over the years, my interests broaden and I started reviewing lifestyle products and creating DIY tutorials. These days, I seemed to be going back to the basics of learning about my skin for I am simply obsessed with skincare products at this new age (the mid-twenties).

    Are there any life hacks you can’t live without?

    Create a skincare routine that you look forward to doing every day. Not only will the future you thank you, but it creates this important ‘me-time’ for you to take care of yourself daily before you rush off and hustle.

    If you could be a cartoon character for real, who will it be and why?

    I always wanted to be Clover from Totally Spies for she gets to hang out with her friends, go on these shopping trips around the world and try out these amazing gadgets. Of course, there’s the ‘risk your life against bad guys’ part but let’s be optimistic.

    However, the older I am, the more I see the light in being a lazy lasagna eating cat, Garfield.

    Would you rather be able to teleport or read minds?

    I would choose to teleport for that means I wouldn’t need to get on a plane to travel to another country. Being on a plane is not my favourite thing. I guess, all those plane crash movies must’ve gotten to me. Additionally, teleportation means I would never be late for anything ever again.

    On the other hand, reading minds may seem cool but do you really want to know what other people think about you all the time?

    Do you follow a strict beauty regime to look so fabulous?

    I do my skincare routine every day, twice a day. I remove all my makeup before I sleep. A tip for makeup users is to always remove your makeup from your eyes or you’ll get a stye.

    What is the funniest or lamest attempt a guy has tried to know you?

    I don’t normally have lame moments with people I just met but I do have the weirdest moment:

    As a promoter back then, I encountered various unique individuals and one of them happens to be with another promoter.

    At first, we chatted to pass time but after he ended his shift, he came over to find me to exchange numbers. Since I had a pleasant time working with him, I thought why not. However, his next move made me regret my decision.

    He leaned towards me and tried to take a selfie of us together without my permission. I immediately stopped him and asked him what was he doing. He said he just wanted to take a photo to “remember this moment”.

    Despite how creepy it sounded, I agreed to the photo for I merely wanted to get back to work.

    After he left, he texted me telling me that he is a mutual friend. I then found out that he is in a relationship with my classmate’s good friend.

    It made me question two things:

    1. Why did he hit on me if he is in a relationship?

    2. Was he sent as a spy?

    Weirded out by the entire situation, I blocked him and never seen him again.

    I spoke to my classmate after blocking him to realise that she barely remembers him and he has always come off as creepy to her.

    With that experience, I learnt a valuable lesson: Stop giving out phone numbers to strangers.

    Thank you for taking the time to answer our questions Shi Hui. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”? 

    I link sexy to confidence. It’s not just about how one dress or how one’s body looks. Instead, it is how you carry yourself and how you present yourself to the world. I believe that a confident person is the sexiest person.

    Hi, SimplySxy  Thank you!  I’m doing great just a bit busy with work and vacation. How about you I hope you are great too right?

    What is a typical day like for yourself?

    On my average day of work.… I start the day checking my social media, haha, especially my e-mails and Instagram. This way I can reply to clients and get everything organized at the start of the day…while I enjoy my current role, I am looking for an opportunity to learn new skills and work with bigger clients.

    After that I’ll go work at school and enjoy teaching with my students. On the weekend I just relax at home, reading, watching, listening to music, but sometimes I like to hangout with my friends and enjoy the coffee and take some pictures. (I’ll tell you, my best thing to do is sleeping all day and all night, feeling lazy and doing nothing at home haha).

    Which 3 types of Thai food do you recommend that everyone should try when visiting Thailand?

    Well…. Normally all the world already knows Thai food is the best! They might know “the best dishes to eat in Thailand” like Tom Yum Goong (spicy shrimp soup), Som Tom ( spicy green papaya salad) Tom kha kai (chicken in coconut soup) but I would like to suggest you a different way.

    I’m glad to tell you here if you come to Thailand. What Thai food should you try first? The best Thai food recommendation for me are 1. Pad Kra Pao (Pad Kra Pao is a stir-fry with holy basil, oyster sauce, soy sauce, garlic, chilli, sugar and salt.)

    2. Laab. (Laab is a spicy meat-based salad with Northeastern Thai roots, also known as the Isaan region. This is not a Western salad you are used to. Instead, Laab is a heavily spiced meat salad with mint leaves, cilantro, red onion, kaffir leaves, lime juice and plenty of chilis.)

    3. Mookata. Mookata is not actually a Thai dish as it’s a cooking method with a hot pot. But it’s so good, that I could not resist adding it to this list of best Thai dishes. In the centre of the hot pot, you can grill the meat and seafood, while on the sides of the hot pot, you can boil your veggies and noodles. They are all my fav!!

    How big is your bikini collection and which are your favorites?

    Well…I can open my store for them haha. You cannot imagine how big of my collections! I love all of them but I prefer two piece swimming suits.

    Which country or city will you love to visit if given the opportunity?

    The country I would most likely want to visit is: Switzerland. This country is best defined by its natural beauty and geography. Switzerland is surrounded by Germany, Austria, Italy and France, all great destinations. Thus, there is a huge and significant effect of English culture over here.

    If you could do anything in this world, what will it be?

    Well there’s one thing I can think of right away and that is to fly – like a bird. No mechanical gizmos, just up up and away.

    But in real life, I would like to visit a lot of different countries, learn more different cultures, try different local food and the world, not fearing for my life.

    Have you been in an embarrassing situation before that is funny now when looking back?

    Going to the wrong classroom and sitting there for a lengthy period of time before realizing that the topics of discussion don’t fit and now you’ll look like a bad-mannered student, exiting class just as it began. It was an embarrassing moment but I can tell my friends a joke story haha.

    What is an ideal first date to you?

    The perfect date may be different for different people. For one it may be a long walk on the beach, while for another, a dinner and movie would be ideal. And then, of course, there are some whose idea of a perfect date is a bit more adventurous. Perhaps a night on a mountain or a bike ride. For me, I like to watch the sunset on the beach or somewhere great. It is romantic right?

    Thank you for taking the time to answer our questions Kyla. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”? 

    The word “sexy” has been used for so many different purposes, it’s almost polarizing (and still makes me cringe when I say it). For one example, “sexy” used to be a bad thing. If you were sexy, you couldn’t also be smart, accomplished, and kind; your one goal or gift was to seduce and be ogled (the horror!). It often came with “too” in front of it: a “too sexy” skirt hem stopped boys from being able to focus in school (how dare we!?), and a woman who was “too sexy” was a danger to all women everywhere.

    What a load of bullsh*t, huh? No wonder many women have a complicated relationship with the word “sexy” and our own sexualities. For me “sexy” actually means something very different. It’s not an item of clothing or a label that puts us into a box. Instead, it’s a badge of honor to describe a powerful energy we all have within us.
