Thanks for thinking of me! Me in a nutshell is, there is no nutshell. I have many interests and passions and on any given day you can find me participating in at least four of them. I am a Cranial Sacral Therapist, Polarity Practitioner, and Esthetician (google is your best friend if you don’t know these words;), and of course, model.  Hungry for new experiences, creating art, and using my body in many forms. You can find me running around modeling, exploring nature, dancing, yoga ing, traveling, and dancing some more.

I was born and raised in the desert of Phoenix, Arizona. I needed a change, green trees, and cooler weather, so I showed up to the PNW, sight unseen and quickly fell in love. I’ve been thriving in Portland, OR for about 7 years now.

Embodiment! Living in a body is a personal journey of awareness, mind-fullness, sensuality, and expressivity. For me, shooting has been a stimulating way for me to become more embodied and tap into those things. It’s been a way to explore and play with my edges, to help me grow and evolve to the fullest expression of self. Being vulnerable and transparent behind the camera deepened my capacity to allow and express all the parts of myself that have been rejected, denied, and suppressed. The work that I create is a reclamation of those lost parts. A ReWilding. I consider it my sacred activism to create healing images and narratives around the female body to reclaim women’s power. Especially through our sensuality and sexuality. Not to mention, it’s the best way to travel and explore the world!

I was asked to model for my cousin’s jewelry line a few years ago and I immediately said “heeeeellllllll no”. I went home and asked myself why I was so resistant, sat with it, then a made a promise to myself to say “yes” to the things that I had fear around. A couple months later, I ultimately challenged myself by jumping  into nude modeling.  I never in a million years would have thought I’d be doing this. My world has opened up beyond my wildest imagination. I am happy to still be on this crazy ride and excited to see where it takes me next.

Yes! But first, I’m taking out the word “guilty” because I have nothing to feel guilty over 😉 I’m a hungry one and I’d say my indulgences tend to look like pregnancy cravings. I love everything fatty, oily, and salty (the healthy kind of course!). I’m constantly adding more butter, olive oil, coconut oil, sea salt, to whatever I’m eating. I’m insatiably hungry, so adding healthy fats to things really helps soothe my veraciousness. I also love combining savory and sweet! Sea salt and watermelon, potato chips and chocolate, bacon/peanut butter/pickle burgers. Which reminds me, I’m a sucker for a juicy burger, and crunchy, salty, chips are definitely a drug of choice. 

No two days ever look the same for me. I wake up, think on 10 things I’m grateful for, practice yoga or walk in the forest, then start my crazy day of work. Which constantly looks different because of the many hats I wear. My favorite “work” days are shoot days, especially when I get to be in nature. 

I love working on fun, passion projects on the side, and pouring my energy into those. Some recent ones include producing a “Shibari for Lovers” workshop, and a Tool yoga class (synched to all Tool and A Perfect Circle music). It’s important to me to cultivate my relationships, so spending time with friends and family is a must. I also get out to dance a few times a week.

I’d say a high point so far was being published in VOLO Magazine – The Worlds #1 Nude Photography Magazine. I had no desire to actually be published, I just wanted to see if I could do it. It still feels weird knowing I’m out there for the world to see in an actual magazine. For me, the journey and hard work it took to accomplish that goal was what it was all about. OH! It was also pretty dope to travel to Iceland, somewhere I’ve always wanted to visit, to shoot for 10 days straight. That is my favorite way to explore and see new places. Now, I practically won’t go anywhere without booking shoots.

I could show you a glimpse into my DM’s right now. It’s pretty atrocious, a joke really. And the lamest part about that, is that online is the most common way to approach people these days. So if you’re going to do it, at least treat me like a person. I prefer real life interactions, you know, when a man has the guts to walk up to you and start a conversation…ever heard of it?

To me, sexiness is is not giving a f**** about what other people think, and completely owning your voice, your choices, your body, your stretch marks, your cellulite, your All. Transparency and vulnerability are sexy as f****, somebody who is able to look you in the eye and tell you exactly what they feel or think, and be open with their emotions. Boundaries are sexy. Attraction is a layered, multi dimensional thing that has to do with energy, and transcends way beyond the physical.

Part of why I love partner dancing is that you are able to really tune into somebody and connect. It taught me that I can be insanely attracted to somebody I wouldn’t look twice at on the street, and vice versa, the hot guy I thought I just had to have, ends up being the one I have zero connection with. No matter how physically sexy you are, I need to be satisfied and touched at that deeper level. Because when your energy synchs up, you feel me, meet me, and see me, yum, that is sexy.
