Get Inked By Tattoo Artist, Cosplayer & Model, Moo

Hello! I’d like to start off with a big thank you for the feature. I’m a budding tattoo artist in sunny Singapore; I’d like to describe my style as small, cute and occasionally spooky!

    Photo: @7xwnie

What hobbies or interests do you have?

Tattooing aside, I also cosplay and model in my free time. I’ve been doing it for around 7 years now! I also love to sing and write poetry, albeit I may not be very good at it haha!

Where do you usually love to shop from?

In all honesty, I get most of my clothes from Taobao, I’m a sucker for cheap deals LOL. I enjoy shopping at Uniqlo and H&M as well, their basics are to die for!

    Photo: Akimori Photo

How will you describe a typical day like for yourself?

Well on work days, it’s the usual coffee, tattoo, more coffee and then head home to draw more tattoos! However, on my rest days, I’m quite the homebody. Nothing beats staying at home with a good TV show on and a mountain of snacks for me to munch on!

    Photo: Akimori Photo

Do you follow a beauty regime strictly?

No, not quite.. I always tell myself to start on one but I never get around to it (I don’t have the dedication and I’m simply just too lazy haha). But I do exfoliate and slap on a face mask every now and then when I feel like it!

    Photo: @filmminion

Is there something you’ve always wanted to do but have yet to find the time for it?

I’ve never really thought about this! I suppose I’ve fallen into a routine and haven’t thought of breaking out of it. But if I really had to pick something, I’d like to bring my mom for a trip overseas.

She’s been working very hard to support me and I want to take time off to have that ladies’ holiday with just us two. She deserves a break to travel to Korea and live out her K-drama dreams (and I want to be the one to achieve it for her hehe)!

Would you rather have the ability to talk to animals or time travel?

This is a rather interesting question! I would love to be able to speak to my pets as well as other animals but I also love the idea of being able to revisit history to see what it was like, so this is actually quite a tough decision.

But ultimately, I’d definitely have to go with the ability to talk to animals. I believe it is best not to meddle with time!

    Photo: @aesthetic.ography

What do you not get about guys?

Oof. This question was a really hard one. I think rather than just guys, there’s a lot that I don’t get about people in general. I think certain people find it difficult to understand themselves as well, me included haha.

I’d like to think that there’s no “fixed mold” for an individual. And therefore the number of things I will never get are endless unless, though near impossible, someone else has the exact same mindset and personality as me.

    Photo: @irid3scent_

Thank you for taking the time to answer our questions Moo. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”?

To me, sexiness is confidence and kindness. The ability to go, “This is who I am.” and embracing one’s own accomplishments and positive traits is incredibly sexy. Paired alongside a good heart with the will to help others, that’s sexiness overload for me!

Thank you for having me, I really enjoyed wrecking my brain for certain questions.

  • Canadian Cosplayer & Boudoir Model Arcane Abbey

Canadian Cosplayer & Boudoir Model Arcane Abbey

Hello everyone! My name is Abbey or Arcane Abbey to my community. I am a 26 year old model from Red Deer, AB, Canada! I do boudoir/cosplay modelling mostly, although I dabble in lifestyle stuff as well. I am a huge nerd, who absolutely loves pop culture, and I absolutely love talking comic books, tv shows/movies, or anything nerd culture related.

How long have you been cosplaying and why do you love it?

I have been cosplaying for a little over a year. My love for cosplay really comes from my love for the culture that surrounds it. People are able to be themselves, dress the way they want, and feel completely comfortable while doing it. I really take pride in  the costumes I create, and love the feedback I get from my community :). Although I love boudoir modelling, cosplay will always be my main passion.

Which characters do you love to cosplay and why?

I will cosplay just about anything if I love the character, but my go to has always been Harley Quinn. I really love cosplaying strong *cough hot* female characters, and she fits the mold perfectly for that. I’ve done a couple renditions of Harley, and as well Poison Ivy (I obviously love my DC women).

Which is a memorable cosplaying experience you had that you can share with us?

Absolutely! I started attending comic-cons in costume long before I started this as a career, and a glowing moment was when I attended the Calgary Expo in 2015. I walked in dressed in my Harley Quinn costume, and immediately a group of about 7-8 Deadpool cosplayers all rushed up and picked me up and started carrying me around and dancing. It was an amazing moment, and really shows the community approach that most attendee’s have when attending a Con. If any of my dancing Deadpools are reading this, you all are the real MVP’s.

What is the best compliment you have received?

My dad telling me he’s proud of me. 🙂

If you could be a superhero or super villain for real, who will it be?

Probably Harley Quinn. LOL surprising right? I just can empathize with her certain bucket of crazy I guess haha.

On a scale of 1-10, how much of a foodie are you?

Probably a 3, haha. I don’t really like most things. But I pick like a bird at things that I do enjoy haha. But most of the time, eating just feels like a chore.

What is a lame or awkward attempt a guy has tried to know you?

Hahaha! These are the best ways to get to know me though!! Honestly, I’m a sucker for the underdogs. So sometimes, the cringiest moments are the best.

For example: My better half, Cale (I’m sorry, LOL don’t hate me) accidentally knocked over a bottle of pop on my back deck, that I had just spent days stripping, sanding, and treating. It was finally ready to stain, he saw my face drop as it was *gluglugluging* out of the bottle onto the deck. He panicked, picked it up and spurted out, “I’ll build you a new one“. The certainty in his face and how quickly THAT was the solution his brain came to…I fell for him there. Haha sometimes the most awkward weird moments can be the best.

Thank you for taking the time to answer our questions Abbey. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”?

I don’t think I really can define it…it’s just something I feel…in my jellies. Ya know.

  • Model Sammie From London And Proud Of It!

Model Sammie From London And Proud Of It!

Hey, I’m Sammie. I’m a 24 year old fine art nude and glamour model from London. Born Londoner – Love it here! I’ve been modeling for two years, and body painting for four, but I used to be a nanny before that. I’m a really creative outgoing individual, I love to have fun and I try not to take life too seriously.

Was being a model something you always wanted to do growing up?

Being a model was something I had always dreamed about but not thought possible. I’m very short, 5’2, I still dream of being a fashion model but I know it’s not right for me and my petite busty body type. I found out about fine art nude and glamour, modeling for courses, workshops and classes and suddenly found a way to make it possible! it took a long time to get used to as I was a very shy and self conscious individual, but I got there!

What is the best or one of the favorite things you like about modeling?

I love the diversity of modeling. There’s so many ideas and genres, I do fashion, make up, beauty, creative and nude – it’s endless! I meet so many lovely people, and I love the travel.  The worst is how men perceive a glamour model when it comes to dating. They think I’m loose or slutty, and their perceptions of me change when they find out my job, I’m never the girl people want to date because I’m too exciting, I’m just a fun time.

People think I’m a ‘bitch’ or ‘stuck up’ from my social media before they even meet me, and then they are surprised with how down to earth I am, or how I live in joggers and am really into sports. The long days can be quite demanding, and doing nude can be cold in location! But I wouldn’t change it for the world.

How is a typical day like for yourself?

My day to day life varies a lot. I have regular studios I work at, and photographers who shoot with me every so often. But I tend to meet new people every week and go somewhere different every day. I buy train tickets and pack my bag the day before the job, because I only look a day in advance of where I’m going (although I do check the location when booking the job in). I try to travel outside of peak hours because I like lay-ins, shooting can last usually from 4-10 hours, plus usually 3 hours travel on either side.

So my days are generally quite long, and I spend a lot of time listening to music on the train. I try to go to the  gym/spa 3-5 evenings a week, if my days have not been to long. Eating and any routine is a real struggle, so I don’t commit to any weekly obligations. I’m out all the time so I don’t really do any food shopping. I get food on the go when I’m hungry, and studios usually feed me really well. I like to work every day, but every once in a while I’ll find myself with a few days off, and I can catch up on my admin and actually cook!

I’m always on my phone, doing admin on the go, re-doing my portfolio, writing references, Insta/ organising studio days etc.- it’s pretty full on! Obviously I try to fit dating and seeing my friends in around all of that! I tend to work more full on with no pause, but then I go on frequent holidays to re-charge and then back to the crazy!

Is there a story behind one of your tattoos?

My tattoos! Where do I start!

I’m an artist, more specifically, a body painter. That is my other job, and I’ve been doing that for four years working in events painting people. Tattoos are just a permanent version. I view tattoos as someone’s personality, their choice in how they look – much like changing a hair colour, yet it’s so much more personal, there’s a story to tell.

I started when I was 18, but got 90% of them when I started modeling two years ago. They are so addictive! They do hold significance. My most noticeable ones are my wings. I love those; to me they represent my freedom, and the ability to take a leap of faith. It’s quite scary becoming freelance, starting a new career, or leaving the town you grew up. Traveling on your own for the first time, or getting into that scary new relationship. My wings represent my courage to fly into the unknown.

My other favourite one is my she-wolf. She is fierce, part of a pack, but also alone. She’s whom I inspire to be every day. I have a few others, music because I play the piano, it’s an escape. A globe and a plane to always explore, I have such a wander lust! There’s also several quotes I find very inspiring! I have my parents fingerprints, and a matching one with my brother, It’s all very personal, and that’s why I love tattoos.

Are there any hobbies or interests you are into?

I have lots of hobbies, I love music, I learnt the piano as a child, and find it very relaxing to play. I’m also sporty, played badminton county growing up, and I still like to dabble in that every now and again! Sometimes I paint on myself, but that’s not so often because I’m usually all painted out from work!

Reading is great, I love funny but down to earth books such as ‘why men love bitches’ or ‘surrounded by idiots’ but I also have a real love for fantasy fiction books and series!

What is the funniest or lamest attempt a guy has tried to know you?

I have a lot of creepy experiences with guys, from them reading the name on my oyster card then finding me on social media—stalker!!! To random Indian men finding my number – god knows how! I just try to stay away from it all now!

Thank you for taking the time to answer our questions Samantha. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”?

    Sexy. What is sexy?

I feel like everyone defines this differently. Obviously it’s being hot. But that’s not what it’s all about. It’s about self worth. How you carry yourself in a crown. A 7/10 can be way sexier than a 9/10 if she has the confidence and shows it. Walking into the room and owning it, thinking’ Yes, I know I’m sexy, and trust me you want to look at me‘ attitude will get you a lot more attention then when you’re thinking ‘ah no, don’t look at me I look awful‘ or ‘why are you looking at me?‘ because no one wants to be around someone who is second guessing herself.

A lot of my girl friends are just as sexy as me, but they don’t all have the confidence, or they don’t know how to emote that emotion.  Generally speaking, we could wear the same thing, walk into the same room and get a different response.

When I used to be shy, I walked into a room and no one noticed me. Now everyone does, unless I don’t want them to. Because sexy is not just how you look, it’s your entire being. It’s how you emote, and some people can switch it on and off and some people can’t.

  • Trinidadian Singer & Media Personality NEICY

Trinidadian Singer & Media Personality NEICY

Hi…My name is Nekisha Cyrus, but most people know me as ‘NEICY’. I am from Trinidad and Tobago, so yes I’m definitely an island girl who loves the Caribbean and our infectious culture. I consider myself to be a creative spirit exploring life. My personal motto is ‘Live, Love, Laugh, Learn & Leap’. I am very passionate about entertainment and wear many different hats in the entertainment industry, from music, to modeling to being a media personality.

    Photographer @trinidadboudoir

Where did your inspiration to be a singer songwriter come from?

Ok, so please don’t laugh…lol. But I knew I was destined to be a singer, songwriter and entertainer from the first time I saw the Spice Girls on my TV. I remember I was like around 8 years old when I saw their ‘Wannabe’ music video and something in me said, ‘Yes, that’s what I Wannabe’, LOL – Get it!

    Photographer @kylefrederick

Which is your favorite or most memorable track you have done/collaborated on so far?

Up until 2018, my favorite track was the first ever track I recorded back in 2011. It was an upbeat Dancehall Pop fused song called ‘Do it Like Dat’ (featured on my first EP album ‘Ms. Un-Official’), it was the first time I really stepped out of my comfort zone and tried something new. That song definitely had a vibe to it. But then fast forward to 2018, when I released my single ‘Body’ and this track has become my new favorite.

I think what I love most about it is that you can hear my growth as an artiste. From the lyrics to the flow, it’s more confident, a bit cocky…LOL. My music has matured a lot and at its own pace. And even while recording it, I was more hands on with what I wanted the finish product to sound like.

    Photographer @adrenalinephotography

How is a typical day like for you?

Typical day for me starts with me on most days getting a proper nights rest (between 6-7 hours of sleep). I usually wake up around 6am. I like to meditate and get my mind right and centered to start my day. Then I go for a workout from 7am for about one to one and a half hrs, shower and have breakfast.

Then my work day begins…I am a full time entertainment blogger for the Caribbean Region which I love because it’s based on entertainment which is my passion.

So I spent the majority of my day writing, researching, updating blogs, etc. for my website Caribbean Entertainment Hub. Outside of that, I’m always writing new music or am at the studio working on new music. I’m also a part-time radio host at ‘We Room Radio’, so I am at the radio station on some days as well.

Do you have any other hobbies or interests?

Yes, can food be hobbies? LOL. But on a real note, when it comes to my hobbies or interests, I love hiking, nature and water…OMG I call it nature therapy. I’m also into personal self-development, I even started a motivational blog called ‘Neicy World’.

I also love reading and by reading, I mean listening to audiobooks…LOL. I also love dancing. And my gym time has also become like a serious interest of mine of lately. Slowly getting addicted!

    Photographer @adrenalinephotographer

If you could meet anyone past or present, who will it be?

Hmmm….I will have to say Beyoncé. I really admire her work ethic and how humble she has remained throughout all of her success. Also Rihanna, because of the level of success and longevity she has attained thus far, being a Caribbean girl as well, I will definitely like to pick her brain and gain some insight into how she was able to do it.

    Photographer @adrenalinephotographer

On a scale of 1-10, how much of a party animal are you?

I’m like a solid 5, don’t really consider myself to be much of a party animal. I think it’s because I work so much in the entertainment industry, that in my down time, I prefer to be nowhere close to it. I rather go to the cinema or find a new food spot I haven’t tried or a fun game night with close friends, filled with a lot of shit talk and laughing.

What is a funny or awkward attempt a guy has tried to know you?

I had a guy donate a huge amount of school supplies to a Charity Book drive I was doing last year in an effort to impress me and ask me out on a date, which he later did. Men…SMH. I didn’t mind though. It was a lot of school supplies…LOL.

    Photographer @trinidadboudoir

Thank you for taking the time to answer our questions Nekisha. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”?

This was truly a lot of fun. Thank you so, so much for having me.

How would I define ‘Sexy’? It’s simple for me…three words – it’s Confidence, it’s Classy and it’s Courageous.

  • What It Takes To Be A Content Creator

What It Takes To Be A Content Creator

My personal views towards beauty is that beauty comes from within. I know that’s a default answer but somehow it’s truer than ever nowadays. It also applies in fashion; if you feel beautiful, it will radiate and everyone will notice it. Comfort first over trend. That’s my fashion mantra, if you’re comfortable in what you wear; you will shine. Doesn’t matter if you don’t follow the trend.

    How I Got Into Modeling

I have tons of photographer friends, they would get me as their test model from time to time. And I love getting my photos taken, that’s when I realized that I wanna get into this business.

Was Being A Content Creator A Natural Move?

Not really. I was struggling at first but then I’m thankful that I know people who are already into the business, who notices that I’m always online, so why not make a career out of it.

    Misconceptions About Content Creators

Some people would still think of us as “freeloaders” and we are only after for the free stuff. We’re not. It takes a village to do what we do; from concept, style guides, contents to do. It’s not easy. We make it look easy because we love what we do.

What To Know Before Becoming A Content Creator

You need to find your niche. Where do you want to focus on; is it beauty? Food? Health and wellness? Travel? You need to find which field you are going to take. And invest in equipment; take good pictures. Be active online.

  • Ukrainian Model Mariya Halushka

    Ukrainian Model Mariya Halushka

Hey, I’m from Ukraine, but currently I live in Ottawa. I’m in the 3rd year of the PhD in Economics program. I also work part-time as a Bookkeeper in SABA Accounting Solutions Ottawa. I’m modeling whenever I have time, LUXI MGMT and OMM are the two modeling agencies I’m with now.

Do you have any hobbies or interests?

I don’t even know what I should start from! First, modeling! Best experience I’ve ever had! Doing runways is even more fun for me, than the ordinary shoots.

Second, dancing and fly yoga. I’d been dancing for about 14 years in a dancing troupe in Ukraine: ballet, contemporary, jazz-modern etc.

Third, music! I play the piano and guitar, finished a music school when I was 12.

Finally, art! I like drawing on clothes, and jeans jackets especially! Love to create something unique for the people I love and see them so happy wearing it every day.

    What inspires your fashion style?

My fashion style is totally dependent on my mood, seriously! I like to be different. One day I’m wearing Nike’s with a black Zara dress, the next day it is a sexy body-shaped dress from PLT with high heels and fur coat from Topshop.

Which is the best compliment you have received?

Once my friend told me that I have the cutest and the most unique nose she has ever seen that made my day!

How will you describe a typical day like for yourself?

I’m hustling, guys, but from 9-10 a.m., not an early bird at all. Of course, except the days I go to work. I’m in deep need of a cup of coffee in the morning, maybe two, or three… Then I study, write my thesis, meet with professors or attend seminars. My boyfriend and I always spend the evening together – go shopping, cook, clean, go out or visit museums and ..everything!

Is there something you’ve always wanted to do but have yet to find the time for it?

I want to learn French! I really do, but don’t have time for it now.

Have you been in an embarrassing situation before that is funny now when looking back?

I guess there is no person in the world that hasn’t been of course. I was, too, but don’t expect me to reveal all my secrets so fast.

What is the funniest or lamest attempt a guy has tried to know you?

Once, my girls and I were in Bulgaria, Sunny Beach – the craziest party city/beach ever. I still even remember the name of the bar near the beach, where it happened – “Amigo” We were dancing near the entrance and a group of German guys caught our eye, as far as I remember, 3-4 of them.

All of a sudden, they all ran up to me and started throwing me up in the air like a cheerleader or a rockstar on a concert. That was so unexpected and fun.. after that they explained that my dress reminded them of the real cheerleaders and they thought I’m one, a lesson: your style means a lot!

Thank you for taking the time to answer our questions Mariya. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”?

    Sexy = smart + confident + fearless

  • Multi-talented Model & Entrepreneur Steffie Harner

Multi-talented Model & Entrepreneur Steffie Harner

I’m Steffie Harner, software developer, freelance model and entrepreneur based in Tokyo, Japan. In 2017, I co-founded Startup Lady Japan, a community and mentorship service that supports female entrepreneurship in the Tokyo Area.

I was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I grew up back and forth between Manila, Philippines and California. I am a dual citizen of the Philippines and the United States. I am technically a first-generation American, but because of my upbringing, I feel culturally somewhere in between Filipino and Filpino-American.

When and how did you get started into modeling?

I did a couple of modeling jobs in the Philippines during my teenage years, but I didn’t quite find my passion for it until I moved to Tokyo. That’s when I began doing conceptual photoshoots with other creatives and artists. I started incorporating dystopian and fantasy themes from animations and anime that influenced me growing up.

I love the freedom in self-expression and storytelling that can be produced through the combination of modeling, photography and post-processing. I love being more involved with the whole creative process ー it’s quite fulfilling.

When and how did you get into software development?

When I was looking for female speakers for Startup Lady Japan events, I came across Yan Fan, CTO of Tokyo-based coding bootcamp called Code Chrysalis. I’d like to think I’m an open minded person, but seeing her broke my subconscious stereotype of what a “software engineer” is. Hearing her story inspired me to try this coding thing out too, and maybe inspire other girls to be curious about technical fields who wouldn’t be otherwise. I haven’t looked back since.

What is your most memorable or unforgettable photoshoot experience so far?

Summer 2018, I was hitting a low in my personal life, feeling disenchanted with modeling and living in Japan. I was ready to give modeling up to pursue a career in tech and was doing my “final” jobs and shoots. That’s around the time I picked up a project with Guillermo Alarcon, known as @future_vizion. He told me as artists, “we evoke emotions, like happiness through creativity.” I had such a positive, encouraging experience with him, I was convinced I could do both if I put in the effort.

Is posing on camera a lot harder than it looks?

With all routines, it gets easier with time and experience. When you first start modeling ー or posing in front of a camera professionalー most people feel pressured to perform as “expected”, don’t know how to let go of the ego, or be okay with trying something new with their bodies or facial expressions. But after each shoot, you learn what positions will get you the look you’re going for, you gain muscle memory, get comfortable with your body, and you can fulfill the role and expression of different characters as a model.

If you could time travel, where would you like to go and witness?

Feudal Japan, right before the Edo period. Albeit violent and chaotic, it would be a stark contrast to the peaceful environment that I live in Tokyo today and would help me appreciate the luxury of living here even more.

Do you believe in any superstition?

I’m not so superstitious per se, however I truly believe in the expectancy theory ー what you think and believe has a strong, direct influence on what manifests into your life. That is why I chose, to my best ability, to be kind and open to everyone I encounter.

What do you not get about the opposite sex?

I often hear this from men (and sometimes women) that “girls are complicated.” Sure, but all humans are complicated and complex. This is not gender-specific. Each human has a depthness and story beyond the superficialities you can collect about another human in an encounter.

Thank you for taking the time to answer our questions Steffie. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”?

“Sexy” to me is being ingenuously comfortable with being yourself. Gracefully embracing your best traits, deepest scars, and everything that makes you unique. A true self-love, that encompasses flaws and all, can be stimulating, empowering and refreshing to the observer.

No-Nonsense Model & Lifestyle Blogger Maddie Jenkins

I just want to start by saying, thank you for featuring me! I appreciate it. My name is Maddie, but everyone calls me Maddie Tha Baddie – it’s pretty catchy. I’m 23 years old and I’m from Des Moines, Iowa (no I wasn’t born in a corn field lol). I currently work a variety of different gigs, but being a model/brand ambassador is one of my favorites.

Where do you get your fashion inspiration from?

I get my fashion inspiration from a variety of influences, but I’m mainly into hip-hop fashion, streetwear, anything vintage/thrifty, boutique fashion, or anything Rihanna has ever worn.

Are there any accessories or items in your wardrobe you can’t live without?

My main wardrobe items I can’t live without are: a windbreaker, my choker necklace, or a pair of dope sunglasses.

On a scale of 1-10, how much of a party animal are you?

As of right now I’d say a 7.5. I’m always down to party, but it isn’t a priority of mine. Plus, ya girl has been working EXTRA hard lately, so partying has been put on the back burner.

If you could have a super power, what will it be?

Probably super strength so I can show off in the gym.

Or having a forcefield around me so I can make it to the front of concerts without being touched.

Is there something in life you can’t get enough of?

Breakfast food, hip-hop concerts, traveling and, of course, money so I can pay for them.

Do you believe in any superstition?

I had to think about this one for a minute. I wouldn’t say I’m superstitious, but when I was little, I was told red cars are bad luck. I didn’t think much of it until I met a few people who all got in car accidents and they were all in red cars. So you won’t catch me in a red car.

What turns you off on a date?

The biggest turn off ever is when the other person seems blatantly uninterested – either they’re on their phone, constantly interrupting me, or asks me to repeat myself. Boy bye.

Thank you for taking the time to answer our questions Maddie. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”?

I would define sexy as being confident and comfortable in your own skin. It doesn’t matter who you are, what you look like, or what your wearing. As long as you’re confident with yourself, you’ll feel sexy. Don’t worry about anyone else’s opinion.

Get Mesmerized & Enchanted By Luna

My name is Luna, I’m currently 22 and I love anything to do with the moon!! (Which explains the name Luna)

How will you describe your fashion style?

My current style is all over the place, I can look completely different each day of the week! I’m influenced by how I feel each day, and sometimes that means I’ll dress in darker, more edgy clothing. Then sometimes I like lighter, more subtle outfits. I love the whole witchy aesthetic, as well as being interested in the craft itself. I like chunky footwear, but I also really like feeling glamorous in a pair of elegant heels and a sparkly dress.

What is the best compliment you have received?

We all like to be complimented on our appearance, but I think the most genuine compliments are the ones that are more personal. Compliment someone’s style, or their music taste. Tell someone they have a great personality, or sense of humour. But since this is about my own experience, I get told I have nice eyes, which I like. Sometimes people will tell me I look like a doll, or a pixie! Makes me feel super cute.

Which city or country have you visited that has given you a strong lasting impression?

There’s so much beauty in the world it’s hard to pick just one! A particular place would have to be Yosemite National Park, I love it. The big mountains, snow, waterfalls and evergreens. I saw so many deers, and plenty of mist. Spent a weekend with my boyfriend up there and it’s so beautiful. I look back on that time with great fondness.

Is there any item in your wardrobe that is a must have?

Does jewellery count? Because I always feel naked without some metal on me! I have lots of piercings so I wear loads of earrings. But if we’re talking clothes, then you can’t really go wrong with a good push-up bra. I’m not the bustiest of women, so I can always use the extra help.

What is your beauty secret to looking so fabulous?

Confidence literally makes anyone look good. But not too much, just the right amount to not care what others think, but not so much that you end up being full of yourself. I also think taking care of yourself on the inside plays a huge part in how you look on the outside. Eat well, and take care of your skin!

Have you been in an embarrassing situation that is funny now when you look back?

Of course! Everyone needs at least one embarrassing story to laugh at. I have plenty! But perhaps they’re just a little too embarrassing to share here.

What turns you off on a date and have you had a bad date experience?

If I were to be on a date, I’d like the person to smell nice. Body odour and bad breath is definitely a turn off. Another turn off would be if the person didn’t listen, or showed little interest in what I had to say. If someone isn’t considerate of others, that’s a big red flag right there.

I also don’t want to sit down on a date and hear someone being sexist, racist, homophobic, etc. We don’t have time for that. I want someone to take me seriously, and respect me. Luckily, I haven’t had a bad date experience, but I did have a pretty awkward kiss once.

Thank you for taking the time to answer our questions Luna. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”?

I’ve always loved getting dolled up and picking out the sexiest of the sexy underwear. However, sexy can be many things. To me, sexiness is that feeling when you put on a certain outfit or style yourself a certain way and you can just feel yourself. When I can look in a mirror and think “damn girl, look at you”. Sexy is owning yourself and loving your body.

To me, it isn’t the tightest dress or shortest skirt, nor the most amount of cleavage. Sometimes that just doesn’t cut it. Confidence again plays a big part in oneself feeling sexy. Other people look stunning when they wear themselves with pride. That fearless “this is me and I don’t care if you like it or not” sort of attitude.

But also, I do feel pretty damn good when I have some nice lingerie, I can’t lie. I’m sure my boyfriend would agree. A little bit of lace goes a long way!

  • California Fashion Babe Jasmine Sham

    California Fashion Babe Jasmine Sham

Hi SimplySxy! Thanks for reaching out and featuring me! Well my name is Jasmine and I’m from the beautiful sunny Los Angeles, California. I’m a super easy going person and just love to have fun! And yes, if y’all are wondering I actually am a shopaholic.

    What inspires your fashion style?

Honestly I just browse the internet and if I like it then I will add to cart LOL. I usually try to stick with neutral colors and basic items because that makes it easier for me to style with multiple outfits.

Which items are a must have in your wardrobe?

Everybody needs a nice pair high waisted jeans, crop tops, and of course a teddy jacket and thigh high boots!

Do you follow a beauty regime to look so fabulous?

Face oils and sunscreen are a must! Gotta keep your skin happy and hydrated while you are still young!

How will you describe a typical day like for yourself?

Honestly my life is nothing extravagant, I am a normal gal working an 8-5. Then I hit the gym and that’s about it. Sorry to bum y’all out. On the weekends though I definitely do more, I enjoy going out with my friends and trying new food spots!

Is there something you’ve always wanted to do but have yet to find the time for it?

I’ve always wanted to go to Bali, but I definitely don’t have the time to even think about traveling thousands of miles away from home right now! But when I do, that would definitely be the first place I’d go.

Have you been in an embarrassing situation before that is funny now when looking back?

Oh! I embarrass myself 24/7. But most definitely probably recently when I fought my boss about my age… I really thought I was 22 turning 23 when in reality I was definitely turning 24! MY BAD. Talk about hitting a middle life crisis.

What do you totally not get about guys?

Everything. Just kidding but not really, they are a special species, but what can I say, can’t live with them, can’t live without them.

Thank you for taking the time to answer our questions Jasmine. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”?

Being sexy isn’t just the girl who wears the least amount of clothing, not the girl with the tallest heels, or the most makeup but the girl who walks into the room with confidence in herself not needing any validation from anyone. Being sexy is being comfortable in your own skin and knowing you a bad b no matter what.
