How did your interest in photography begin?

My first photoshoot probably was when I started pole-dancing. I won a place in a competition and was asked to pose for photos due to my flexible back. Afterwards I was asked more and more to model. I did hundreds of tfp photoshoots. I always wanted to have some idea in all my photoshooting and always liked to think more about styling and making various decorations.

At some moment I was tired of similar photoshoots and wanted to go bigger. I contacted a photographer whom I was a fan of and ordered an art photoshoot with her. It was quite expensive for me at that time, but it was very very worth it. After that shoot I was more and more into art and conceptual photography. I was posing for world known artists during their workshops and also was invited for private collaborations. Quality attracts quality and it accumulates. This is why today I can be proud of the result my modeling career has brought me.

What is important to taking a good photo?

It is important is to be prepared. Spontaneous shoots can be great, you can have luck, but the best is to be prepared.

Preparation means:

– Think about your concept, styling, location, photographer, model

– Think about light/natural light and how it will work positively on your results

– Plan the team and logistics, communication!

– Have options and flexibility if something goes not according the plan

And for me of course, it’s important if the photographer knows what he/she is doing. Experience is preferable.

Which is a memorable photo or videoshoot you have done before?

I think it’s the shoot I had in Iceland.

Together with my team Art Photo Projects I organized a tour to Iceland in 2020. It was meant to be big and amazing, but due to covid-19 most of the participants couldn’t come. However we (team) still took a risk and directly after Iceland borders were opened, we flew to Iceland and did magical photoshoots with over 30 outfits!! It was so crazy, we dropped dead every day after the intensive schedule, but it was definitely worth it.

If you could collaborate with anyone past or present, who will it be?

I would love to collaborate with tour-agencies and make it possible for more people to travel and have magical photoshoots and workshops. I know there are already such tours with wedding photography ideas, or with some leading photographer, but I really want to make it “art” and open for everyone. I also would love to collaborate with more designers and magazines. I am having a few conversations now,

Is there any city or country you like to travel to visit when given the chance?

Right now I dream to visit Baikal Lake in Russia, New Zealand and Japan.

Have you been in an embarrassing situation that is funny now when you look back?

Yes, for sure. One day during a photoshoot in a lavender I had a see-through dress. It was very beautiful but I forgot my lingerie and needed to be without. It was very embarrassing for me to be so unprepared, but afterwards it was easy for the photographer to retouch…

What turns you off on a date?

If a person I am dating is not interested in my story, but only in sex.

How will you describe a typical day challenge for yourself?

Make today so awesome, yesterday gets jealous.

Is there a place or city you have always wanted to travel to for a visit?

Turkey and USA.

Do you believe in any superstition?

Sometime YES but I try not to, because I heard if you keep believing that there are “things” are around your side, they will….

What is an ideal first date to you?

Probably getting dressed up and going to a nice dinner, then going to get ice cream (my favourite dessert ) and watching a movie at home.

Hi all! I have lived all my life in Russia. My life is directly connected with cosplay, art and photography. I’m 24 years old.

What do you love about cosplaying?

I’ve been working on cosplay for almost five years, but I’m gaining an audience only now. I used to be very shy about taking pictures, so I took home photos of my images. Several times I took the prize at festivals thanks to my costumes and performances. I think cosplay is a great hobby to express yourself as an artist, as well as to learn how to make ALL out of nothing.

Which is your most fun or unforgettable cosplay experience so far?

That’s a pretty interesting question. But I don’t remember anything to share with you. I’ve had everything that a lot of people have. For example, 30 minutes before the performance, a friend of mine accidentally broke my gun. One day I agreed with my friends on cosplay, but they did not come and I had to perform alone, in the end I was ranked 3rd in the category “Anime Cosplay”. Yes, I did it! I made up my fashion show right on stage.

Do you have any other hobbies or interests?

Yes! At first it may seem like cosplay takes up all my time, but no. I love to travel, one year, I was able to visit about 10 new countries, it was a wonderful time.

I also do help for animal shelters. About once a month, I visit places to help homeless animals. I’ve been doing equestrian sports for about two years, but after I moved to another city, I gave it up. I’d love to go back, but I don’t have enough time.

Despite the fact that I am a model myself, I also do photography. I’m a photographer with 10 years of experience. Sometimes I come to festivals in cosplay, but I take pictures of other cosplayers. My work often gets to them on the main page, everyone likes my work. I’m very happy about that. But most of all I like to shoot nature. Because it’s a great place for me. Lakes, forests, seas, mountains, flowers – it’s amazing. I think I’m the same dreamer.

By the way, I’m also a crazy gamer. I love spending time in games. I play better than my friends and always rank high.

If you could learn anything in this world, what will it be?

I have always been interested in psychology, biology and astronomy. Basically, it’s always about science. What is it made of? What does this have to do with this? And why does that work? I may be a humanitarian, but technology issues affect me too.

For me, this is a big topic of discussion, I can talk about it for hours. If you want to talk to me, just start talking about space.

Is there any superstition you believe in?

No, I’m not a superstitious person. But sometimes I feel discomfort when someone’s rules are broken. Like if I dropped salt or something.

Overall, I think it’s all about mental sensations. We can always feel everything out there inside. I think everyone has their own aura and soul. Because you can feel it.

I don’t believe in God, but I believe in the point where it all began. God can be not only a man, but also something more than that. Atoms, stars and so on.

Which flavor best describes you?

Freshly baked bread. Why? I don’t know. I’m so soft and cozy. People always reach out to me and feel at peace beside me. That’s what they say to me. I always hear from friends “I never believe you could offend anyone,” “You’re the kindest person” etc.

What is a funny or lame attempt a guy has tried to get to know you?

Hmm… It’s hard for me to remember anything. Usually I always respond to adequate communication with adequate people. And strange people don’t write to me. Just the other day I was asked to throw off all paid photos for free, because the person loves my work and he has no money. I was willing to throw him a little bit, but I put too much effort into my work to give them away just as if they were worthless to me.

For me, sexuality is a pretty vulgar word. If you are engaged in shooting erotic content, you need to present it beautifully and cutely.

No debauchery or cruelty. Photos must carry aesthetics and satisfaction. I don’t like too hot content, just do what is beautiful for you.

How to become an Instagram model?

Nowadays, it is becoming increasingly easy to become an online influencer. Having a presence on the internet became a matter of choice. It’s all about whether you want to do it or not. There are hardly any barriers to growing an audience that would be more than happy to partake in your adventures. Also, things become immensely easier if you’re a girl who is looking to become an Instagram model. You don’t have to be a top tier hottie scouted by the world’s most famous magazines and photographers. All you need is some knowledge and a bit of persistence. After all, Instagram is a major platform where many businesses thrive and, with a bit of effort, you can create a brand out of yourself and do the Instagram modeling thing as a full-time job. Who wouldn’t want to simply fool around, play JerkDolls sex games, and post pics on the internet while having a steady flow of cash coming into their bank account?

Well, as you would’ve guessed it, there are pros and cons to becoming an online persona. On the bright side, all the tools that you need are more accessible than ever. If you have a decent smartphone you’re pretty much good to go. The technology is so advanced now that even the cheapest devices produce decent photos and, from there on out, it’s all about posting and engaging with others online. That is also solved with fast and affordable internet worldwide. Provided you’re not already connected to the web through your service provider, every decent public bar, coffee shop, or similar offers a wireless connection that you can use to do your thing. If your goal is to create a name for yourself in the vast world of the internet, there are virtually no excuses. Pause those foot fetish games and start putting yourself out there.

The other side of the coin, however, is not that bright. As with everything in life, the easier a certain thing is, the more people are willing to try it. That makes it particularly difficult to stand out in the sea of other wannabe influencers who follow one, two, or hundreds of those and figured out they’d give it a shot. Those who started a long time ago, when Instagram was only becoming a thing, surely reap rewards now. On the other hand, if you plan on playing that game now, you can expect things to be much more difficult. However, even that has an upside. As becoming an Instagram model is not an easy task, many will give up within the first month, or even a week. That makes those who are persistent much more likely to stand out.

The most important thing to know regarding the whole idea is that the beginning will be extremely hard. That is precisely what the majority doesn’t know and why all of them quit. The most likely scenario is that you won’t see any major growth in quite some time. And don’t even consider making a substantial amount of money if you’re only starting out. Instead of burning yourself out by focusing on growing on Instagram 24/7 take it slowly. Kick back, relax with some extreme porn games, and be consistent about your progress. Instead of posting ten photos a day and then giving up within a week, post once or twice a day but stay at it. it takes a lot of time to get the ball rolling but once it’s going, there’s no stopping it. From there on out, the sky is the limit.

Hi! First of all I would like to extend my gratitude to SimplySxy for having me on this interview. A simple introduction about myself, I’m a 26 year old Kelantanese girl who loves to explore and therefore I have been in KL for almost three years. Hmm, a little sharing about my dream would be to travel around the world after the pandemic ends. Life is too short to regret on the little things.

What is your fashion style like?

To be honest, my fashion sense is to dress as comfortable as possible in every places I go. As you can see from my photos, I love sports apparels and also the latest Taobao fashion items.

Which is your proudest achievement so far?

My proudest achievement is to always be a better self from yesterday. We strive to learn and to adapt in various environment and situations. Success usually comes from failures and having perseverance is the gist to hit your goals. Even though I make mistakes from time to time, yet I will always believe that growing up is a never ending progress. My journey is still a long way to go regardless of my full time career and part time modelling.

Do you have any hobbies or interests?

I absolutely love to collect Hello Kitty merchandises. Well, there are still more collections coming in but I will always try to get a hold of myself from buying them. My interests would be enjoying a short getaway/holiday or taking photos (esp. Photo shooting).

Which city or country have you visited that has given you a long lasting impression?

That would be none other than Bangkok, Thailand. Who doesn’t love the most inexpensive places on earth!! A place flourishing with street food and a shopping heaven that will not break your pocket (unless you really wanna break it, hehe).

What is the best compliment you have received?

My friends often say I would cheer them up in any despairing situations. I think by smiling, you’re spreading positive vibes around and your surroundings will turned out positively. Smile! 🙂

If you can time travel, what will you like to witness?

Time travelling in a sense feels like you’re regretting on certain chapters of life. Personally, I think time will never stop nor reverse. We can remorse on losses of lives but life must move on. Cherish the moments we have now and never forget on those who are with you during the hardest times.

What turns you off on a date?

The most no-no sign is talking about exe(s) in front of a date. Do I look like a love consultant?

Which 3 beauty products are a must have in your collection?

I definitely can’t live without chapsticks, face oil, and a good moisturizer.

Do you follow a strict beauty and/or exercise regime?

I wouldn’t call it strict. I’ve been loving natural beauty looks and for exercise, I’ve been loving HIIT training work outs.

What guilty indulgences do you have when it comes to food?

I’m deeply passionate about carbs — bread and rice are my biggest indulgences which I tend to have on a daily basis. Aside from carbs, I’m also a sucker for chocolate.

How do you like to spend your free time?

I love being current on what’s going on with our country and within the county I live in along with the rest of the world. I love reading news and articles.

If you could improve one thing about the world, what will it be?

If I could improve one thing about the world, it would be our health. I strongly believe our mental and physical health makes up a huge portion on how we are living.

What is a funny attempt a guy has tried to know you?

When he uses his friend’s account to contact you to see if you would respond back to that account vs using his own account. LOL

Gamer & Model Voir Valeisky From Singapore

Hola! I would like to shout out that I am turning into a wrinkly old prune soon. Am 29 this year, and from Singapore.

What hobbies and interests do you have?

I love to play games. Used to be more on PC – Gunbound, Maplestory, Diablo, Sims 4, Dota 1 and 2 and an assortment of offline games. Currently more on Mobile Legends Bang Bang. I love cooking and writing, which seem meek, and then there’s diving and snorkelling. I love water activities.

How is a typical day like for yourself?

I have a small Telegram group, so I start my day by interacting with my subs. (The group gets exclusive photos and videos of me) I prepare content for them whenever inspiration kicks in. Then, if time allows, I will cook and write. There’s no greater joy than planning what to cook! Play some games, and head out if I have work like events or photoshoots.

It’s lockdown now so I guess it sounds pretty boring and lame when you read it, HAHA!

Do you follow a beauty or exercise regime?

Since it’s the lockdown period,. I have been doing Tabata once every two days. It usually lasts about 20-30 minutes per workout, and I supplement with sit-ups, squats and push-ups. But I cannot give up all the glorious food, so the exercise is really just for me to be able to eat without feeling too guilty HEHEHE.

I do have a beauty regime but I’m not very religious. However one thing for sure is masks really do wonders! I use masks 2-3 times a week. I am on SK II (once again… it’s the age…) and I think it works well for me.

What genre of modeling do you enjoy doing?

I enjoy doing boudoir shoots. It has of course caused me more trouble than anything because Singapore is still a relatively conservative society. People are hypocrites. They love to look at scantily clad girls, be it in or out of artistic limelight, yet they are quick to criticize someone who provides such content for them.

I think tasteful boudoir photos capture the beauty of a woman’s curves and we are only young once! I would love to have gorgeous photos of myself to look back to (and to show off to my elderly friends or grandchildren next time)

And they’d be like, “WAAA!! IS THAT REALLY YOU ? YOU WERE SO SEXY AND PRETTY!”

I’d feel proud of that. Certainly not ashamed.

Which is the sexiest item in your wardrobe?

Ah… too many to mention. HAHA. I have a lot of extremely kinky outfits used for my photoshoots and some which I bought to spice up the love with my partner. I like to be spontaneous and do minor role play too.

I have a favorite, it’s a lace bodysuit which slits open at the crotch into a big beautiful ribbon. 10/10 feedback from my partner. HAHA

If you can learn anything in this world, what will it be?

Do you want a realistic or a fantasy answer? I’ll give you both! Haha.

Realistically I would love to learn many more languages. I only know Chinese, English, Dialects like Hokkien and Teochew, and moderate amounts of Espanol. It’ll be great if I can master French, Japanese, Korean and let’s not forget… LATIN AND HEBREW! Yes I wish to look into the history of witchcraft and satanic stuff. *EVIL LAUGHTER*

Fantasy answer: I want to learn how to be like the Avatar or shit we see in Anime. Master all elements and fight bad guys!. (But if I can only choose one element its water.)

What is a funny or lame attempt a guy has tried to hit on you?

I hardly reject people as I think it takes up a lot for someone to muster up the courage to hit on you. (Excluding narcissistic fuck boys). Witty pick-up lines definitely is a green light from me. But the worst would be, “My friend would like your number”

There was a funny one. He asked me if I had seen a horse running around here. And I said no. He replied “我也没有。不过，我要你的号码“

I laughed.

Multi-Talented English Performer Laura Lake

Hi, thank you so much for having me! I am a singer, dancer, actor, model and training stuntwoman from London England.

What inspires your fashion style?

Oh good question, in normal life I love classic cuts and tailored clothing. I love going to LFW and seeing the latest trends and the amazing creativity from the designers, but I would say I am most inspired by old Hollywood glam. However on set/performing I can be in anything from a bejeweled leotard to combat army gear which is also a lot of fun.

How do you keep up to date with all the latest fashion styles and trends?

I love nothing more than sitting with a copy of Vogue or Elle with a cup of tea to keep up to date. I also enjoy scrolling through Instagram as there always seems to be an abundance of different styles and trend fusions that look amazing.

What is the best compliment you have received?

I sometimes get told that I “light up the room”. Which is really cool as I love to make others feel good and spread joy.

Do you have a strict beauty or exercise regime that you follow?

I do for both. For my skin I always have two litres of water a day, twice a week I exfoliate with elemis and use facemasks. Each day I wash my face with water, then Clinique cleanser, toner, I then put on a serum, moisturizer and sunblock. At the end of the day I cleanse and tone my skin followed by a Lancôme night balm.

For my hair I put John Frieda serum on the ends every day, I try not to put heat on it if I can and every second wash I only use Bumble invisible oil conditioner (naturally my hair curly/frizzy), I use Olapex no.3 hair mask twice a week – it’s a game changer! It has saved my hair from all the backcombing etc from being on set. I also only brush my hair when it has conditioner in or if I am straightening/styling it.

Exercise, I set myself a new program every six weeks – training for the stunt register is pretty challenging so I have to make sure I am physically fit. I train six times a week and have a cheat/rest day along with yoga, dancing, kickboxing, gymnastics, trampolining, swimming and horse riding.

If you could have a superpower, what will it be?

Oh love this question! Umm I would love to be able to teleport; it would save so much time! Haha.

Do you believe in any superstition?

I do, I am quite superstitious. I read tarot cards, auras and palms. I have soooo many crystals and love to meditate. I have lots of little superstitious habits, one that often receives a funny look is if someone sneezes, I say bless you, they say thank you and I clap twice…. It’s a weird habit that started when I was five and it has stuck. It is said that it saves a fairies’ life when you clap haha.

What turns you off on a date?

Rudeness – kindness costs nothing and means everything. 😊

Vancouver Based Published Model Helen Moss

Well, my name is Helen. Speaking of my background, you could say I am a mix of Russian, Ukrainian and maybe Belorussian, being born and raised in Latvia. I moved to Canada at the age of 15 and all by myself. To be honest, I feel like writing an elementary school essay, so I would rather skip the part about the age, birthday and family background.

What can I tell about myself. Well, if you asked my best friend or my mother, they would probably say that I am a funny and sarcastic person who loves dark humour, alternative rock like Three Days Grace or Green Day, and everything related to art. Also I suck at math and sciences, I absolutely love drawing, writing, acting and singing. I do a little bit of all – I study visual arts and design, write poetry and lyrics, I want to relate my life to acting and cinema.

Out of other interesting or not that interesting facts, 99.9 percent of people find me cold and a bit socially awkward at first, but later every single person calls me funny and nice.

How long have you been modeling and why do you love it?

I started modelling at the age of 13 when my mother brought me to a modelling school where I studied for a year. To be honest, that school only gave me a bunch of insecurities and a wish to never go back to that path ever again. Several years later, a friend of mine offered me a photoshoot, and I found myself enjoying it.

What I really love modelling for is the idea of making meaningful art. I do not do beauty shoots or simple outfits, my modelling has been called dark and controversial by many people. I try different looks on, and it is never about looking pretty or beautiful – it is about being memorable. I can appear in the makeup of a sad clown, or with bruises all over my face, and I will put a certain idea or a concept behind it. I hope it is not too confusing. After all, I love modelling for the ability to be unique.

What is the hardest or most challenging photoshoot you have done before?

It was a photoshoot that I haven’t even posted anywhere. It was a photographer who messaged me on Instagram and offered a shoot, but when I showed up there, he first of all was late, and second, he was not really in a mood to talk. It was also hard because he planned to shoot outside in the middle of December, and was always asking me to remove my jacket so I would remain in a small and a very open top. At that time, I was not very confident, and I was afraid to say no. So, in the end, I froze to the bones and got only three pictures from the two hours of photoshoot.

Out of the most challenging ones, it was a photoshoot for my best friend’s portfolio which was pointing out people’s bad choices such as alcoholism or abusive relationships, and it was really challenging because I’ve been changing my whole look four times during the day. As well as that, it was all done on the streets of Vancouver in the end of November, it was so cold and I really had to change my clothing outside a couple of times so we had more time with the daylight.

What quotes or mottos do you like to use to inspire yourself?

“Do what you love and love what you do”

Because why else would I be studying and developing if I don’t enjoy doing it?

If you could change one thing about the modeling industry, what will it be?

I would love to change the attitude to boudoir shoots. I don’t want people to think that if I am doing boudoir, then I’m just showing off. In my opinion, it is a form of art and a way to gain confidence for some girls. I don’t want to be called names for dealing with my self-insecurities and for feeling comfortable with my body.

Do you have any other hobbies or favorite pastimes?

As I mentioned before, I am way too artsy. I truly enjoy drawing and fashion design, I am a little bit of a messed up singer and a songwriter, and I sometimes do acting in short movies. I also like cooking healthy food and doing hikes and home workouts.

On a scale of 1-10, how much of a risk taker are you?

I would be an 8 out of 10, and I am always crazy about trying new things. Like, to be honest, I came to Canada all by myself at a very young age, all introverted and lacking communication, and it was such a terrifying thing to do. I went surfing in Tofino and almost got a serious back injury but at that time I really felt like learning to surf. I have been planning to apply for the History of Art for a year but changed my mind and went for Fashion Design a week before all possible deadlines. This is kind of how I am, very spontaneous and sometimes taking risks.

What is a lame or awkward attempt a guy has tried to know you?

There was that guy in the skytrain who sat next to me and immediately asked if I wanted to act in his short movie but it turned out later that he only wanted to hit on me like that. Also, I think that 70% of all male photographers that I worked with made an attempt to get to know me ‘closer’ It is a fun fact that most people I’ve been dating were photographers.

Thank you for taking the time to answer our questions Helen. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”?

To be honest with you, I don’t even use this word much just because I have no idea what ‘sexy’ means to me. It is mostly related to having a hot body and a beautiful face, but I myself haven’t yet figured out what exactly it is to be ‘sexy’
