    Hi, I’m Gia and I am from “the city of brotherly love,” Philadelphia, PA!  I love to cook and work out, but most of all I love to watch anime.  When I am not doing these things, I am either training my Pokémon, spending hours on my skincare routine, or taking care of patients where I work, in the field of family medicine.

    What do you love about cosplay?

    The reason why I cosplay is because I get to be the characters that I have spent so much time watching, thinking about, admiring, and analyzing.  I also really enjoy going out and meeting other people who enjoy the same series and appreciate the same characters.  I have also met many friends that I usually only see at conventions, so it is always nice to see familiar faces again too.

    Which is your most fun or unforgettable photoshoot experience so far?

    “Fun” and “unforgettable” are two different things! The shoot I had the most fun doing was when I shot for winning Philly’s Hottest Cosplay Girl with photographer Alison Dunlap.  The make-up artist, Victoria C., was there to help fix any wardrobe malfunctions (which there were plenty when I was dressed as Molotov.)  But they were a great team to work with – probably the first and only time I’ve worked with a fully female team, which I think made me feel much more comfortable and relaxed.  Alison also certainly did her research, and had tons of poses planned out for me too.

    The most “unforgettable” shoot had to be at one particular shoot where I had to stand very still for so long that I got dizzy, which led to queasiness that I could not hold back.  Lucky for me, only about a hundred people or so were watching me.

    Do you have any other hobbies or interests?

    Oh of course!  I am very interested in health and fitness, skincare, and medicine.  I am also very into craft beer, and I love to try as many new breweries and brews as my schedule can allow.  Recently, I’ve also gotten very into trying new hot sauces, too.

    If you could learn anything in this world, what will it be?

    Complete understanding of the human body, so I could always have the best answers to give my patients.  Also, I taught myself code starting in 4th grade and fell out of it sometime before high school.  I’d love to take computer programming classes and see how well I’d do with coding now.  I know so much has changed, but memorizing and recognizing code has always felt natural to me.

    What is the best compliment you have received?

    This is very difficult to say, mostly because you are asking me to choose which quality about myself that I am the most proud of when someone recognizes it.  If I had to choose, I think a great compliment would be of my own taste – for example, someone complimenting my taste in anime, music, beer, wine, etc.  Oh, or maybe complimenting my cooking, since I always seem to make everything too spicy for most people to handle.

    Which flavor best describes you?

    Going off my answer from your last question, spicy!  There’s no fun in eating something hot if it doesn’t give you at least a little bit of pain!

    What is a funny or lame attempt a guy has tried to get to know you?

    I have heard tons of pick-up lines, most terrible and some surprisingly good.  Sticking to the cosplay theme though, the worst line I’ve ever heard while in costume was when I was dressed as Edward Scissorhands, and some guy said, “I still wouldn’t say no to a handjob.”  I thought it was hilarious.

    But when it comes to lame, the only thing I don’t like is when someone pretends that they’re interested in the same things as me to get closer to me.  If you don’t share the same interests as me, that’s fine, be honest about it.  I am willing to take the time to explore your interests if you’re willing to take the time to explore mine.

    I would have to say that it is feeling comfortable and happy with yourself, while still leaving something to the imagination for others.

    Every woman loves to be told that she is beautiful but every time someone tells me that they admire me for being a strong, intelligent and passionate woman I feel really flattered!

    What do you not get about the opposite sex?

    I don’t understand men who misjudge women for dressing in small clothes, taking sexy pictures and working in sex jobs when they are the ones who consume these services or go crazy with the photos and videos…

    On weekends I really like to hang out with my friends, go to concerts and support local bands. Also love to be in bed all day, and watch cheesy movies on Sundays.

    If you could drop everything and go on a road trip, where will you go?

    Here in Chile, we have the Carretera Austral, which is a road with more than 745 miles that runs through the southern end of the country and on its way there are beautiful landscapes that connect you in depth with nature. Without a doubt, it is the perfect place for a road trip like this.

    What is the best compliment you have received?

    I really enjoy when people compliment my artistry. I remember one time after a performance, someone from the audience came to tell me that my dancing had moved and amazed him. That’s by far the best compliment I have received.

    Which flavor best describes you?

    I think I’m like Teriyaki sauce. I always believed that I have a bittersweet personality, like “I’m so nice to you, but I won’t doubt to put you in your place”, but deep inside I’m good.

    I think today being sexy is a matter of attitude. We live in a world that is constantly labelling us in what we can be according to what they believe beauty is.     Well there was this guy, he would take a ride with his sister to the town where I worked in a coffee shop doing the night shift, he would hang around for a while and then have to walk just short of 20km home in the night, even though he had to be up early mornings to work. He would do it almost every time I was scheduled to work.

    He ended up becoming my husband so I would say it worked.

    A solid 10…. oh sorry I read that as “how much do you party with animals”. I was like, um I love hanging out with my cats!

    Generally a 6, I’m pretty over the party phase these days. Give me seating, no line ups, clean toilets and decent vodka, watch me rage the night away in my chair. Don’t get me wrong, there are the odd few that have had to witness level 10 Nona, but that’s sometimes food.

    It’s hard to remember, but of all compliments. I try to transmit to the others my experience within the aesthetic … in fact, when I write …. “As you trick well” for me is a great compliment, because even an eye which is inexperienced in the field realizes that behind that make-up, there’s a lot of experience …

    Which beauty products should every lady own?

    The first thing ever to all women is with regard to the face, is to cleanse well the face and use a cream specific based on the skin type on the face, neck and décolleté … use a good make up corrective. With regards to the body, always use creams that feed on the skin and critical points of the abdomen, buttocks and thighs with products such as cellulite and wraps sludge thermal … of course you should always make a bit of physical activity …

    Is there any item in your wardrobe that is a must have?

    I love a lot of the fur and obviously use those ecological ones which I like a lot. Am a lover of bags and accessories, which can enhance the most of the heads that I wear … .adore shoes with rhinestones, lace and applications …

    If you could change one thing about the world, what will it be?

    If I could change something, cambierei many things … there are many things you should not be well … the power on the other and violence towards people and corruption are the things that make me indignano, I’m scared, and I addolorano in this today’s society … because I realize that we are so strong and so fragile, I hope in ogniuno of US prevail always justice and knowing how to evaluate things and the others for what they are and not for what it takes to believe to be.

    Have you been in an embarrassing situation that is funny now when you look back?

    Embarrassing was the first time that I had to sing … my professor from guitar high school had organized an essay at the year-end and made me sing a song of Celine Dion  – “My Heart Will Go On” … Music is my passion that I brought forward for several years between lessons of singing and playing the piano, is a passion that unfortunately, I could not to realize in it seriously.

    What turns you off on a date and have you had a bad date experience?

    The negative experiences always teaches something, perhaps even more so than those positive. The important thing is to admit that you are wrong and go ahead in your passion and believe in yourself.

    Another thing which is very important, but you remain yourself and understand what are your limits is that you cannot be perfect on all, but once you’ve found defects you should try to improve, both aesthetically that mentally.

I mean that wear heads of intimate and have a physical inadequate, face struccato and hair in disorder is not sexy … in fact it’s quite unpleasant agl’occhi of the viewer … okay the “woman curvy”, but must wear clothes adequate to their physical, every day girls which are curvy publish photos on Instagram, in my opinion is indecent, because if you have fat and cellulite you may not post photos in costume or with undergarments … is vulgar … and especially not be nice to see … because in this way we only show defects …

    Almost for eight years now.

    Yep! Arnice from Nights of Azure. I love her nightmare form but I still don’t have an idea how to start this cosplay (and I think that I’ll not have space for it haha).

    How much of a foodie are you?

    I LOVE food hahaha. I feel like eating all the time, even when I’m not hungry. My favorite food is lasagna.

    Have you been in an embarrassing situation that is funny now when you look back?

    The last time I was on a stage. I always feel embarrassed when I go on stage, but after a few days, I will laugh at the situation and the videos.

    Defining ‘sexy’ is complicated because each person has a different view about it. For me, ‘sexy’ is a person who is comfortable with his body and likes what is doing. I also like long legs and high heels :p
