I am Eilene Nazareno, 28 yrs old. I’m currently studying Fashion Design at Slim’s Fashion School and I’m from Mandaluyong City Philippines.

Where do you love to shop from and what inspires your fashion style?

I’d like to shop at online shops because of the ease of access, as I can shop worldwide. These shops include Shein, Zalora and wicked weasel from Australia where I buy my Bikinis.

My fashion style is influenced by outfits and fashion brands (too many to name) that look super sexy, but is still classy.

Do you have any hobbies or interests?

I’d like to paint and draw, both with physical paints and pencils, as well as on my iPad, I also enjoy dressmaking and hope to have my own fashion line one day.

Which is the best compliment you have received?

The best compliment or compliments that I have ever received is I have had several people tell me that I look beautiful with or without make up and that I have amazing natural beauty.

Would you rather have superhuman speed or control objects with your mind?

I would rather have a superhuman speed to save time because for me, time is gold and should not be wasted.

What 3 fun things do you love to do in your city?

First thing I love to do in my city is to walk my Mini Bull Terrier, Hammer.

Second, strolling around historical areas and parks in the Manila.

Third would be food tripping at the weekend night markets near where I live.

On a scale of 1-10, how much of a foodie are you?

I rate myself an 8. I especially love testing and trying out traditional Philippine foods, but also enjoy trying new dishes from all around the world.

What turns you off on a date?

    Bragging turns me off.

Thank you for taking the time to answer our questions Eilene. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”?

Sexy is when you are able to wear just track pants and a simple shirt and still kill it and turn heads.

  • Fashion & Film Photographer Allia Olviga

Fashion & Film Photographer Allia Olviga

It is indeed my pleasure to be here. My name is Allia Astrid Olviga, a very outgoing person who loves stepping out of her comfort zones and exploring new things, hobbies, and places here in the Philippines. Besides that, fashion and film photography are also the things that keep me busy.

How will you describe your fashion style?

My fashion style is very diverse. I could go from wearing streetwear to wearing a fancy dinner dress. But one thing that I do not like wearing is a skirt. For some reason, it really makes me feel very uncomfortable.

Where do you love to shop from?

Before I love to shop from retail stores but now, I prefer thrift shopping. It is because thrift shops offer a variety of clothes at a very cheap price.

If you could learn anything in this world, what will it be?

It would be the ability to stop the time. It’s just that I feel like time is really going so fast and I want to feel and experience things a little longer.

On a scale of 1-10, how much of a party animal are you?

Oh, this is a very unexpected question but if I am going to be honest, I think that on a scale of 1-10 I am an 8. I do love to drink. I love the feeling of having fun while shouting the lyrics of my favorite songs at the top of my lungs. It is just a really fun way to escape from reality even for just one night or two or….. well, we never know.

Would you rather have the ability to fly or talk to animals?

I would rather have the ability to fly. It is the best way to travel for free.

Do you believe in any superstition?

Not really, I just can’t see the logic behind most of the superstitions.

What is a funny or lame attempt a guy has tried to use to get to know you?

I really won’t forget that one time where this guy sent me a message through email with an attachment video of himself singing. His way of sending me a message was really funny but also very romantic.

Thank you for taking the time to answer our questions Allia. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”?

For me, being sexy means being confident. It is being able to free yourself from your insecurities and loving yourself despite your imperfections. Once a person has reached that stage of self-love, he/she becomes the most confident version of himself/herself.  And for me, that is what it means to be bold and sexy.

  • Actress & Model Moriah Boone

    Actress & Model Moriah Boone

SimplySxy catches up with actress and model Moriah Boone as we find out what she loves about acting and modeling, and how much of a risk taker she is. Read on learn about Moriah below!

Was acting and modeling always a huge part of your life growing up and something you were always going to do?

Definitely! It was always something I was very interested in and wanted to explore. However, growing up in a very conservative household severely delayed my dreams of modeling and acting.

What are 3 things you love most about acting and modeling?

I love the networking. It’s something that allows me to really learn about how different people communicate while at the same time making valuable connections in the entertainment industry. I also love the creativity and the hours; it’s something different every day!

Have you been nervous on camera before or does it always come naturally to you?

I am an introvert at heart, so I always get nervous before any event, shoot, or scene. That’s why I love it so much…because I get to push myself consistently and through that I gain more and more confidence in my craft.

If you could collaborate with anyone past or present, who will it be?

Anne Hathaway for sure. She’s as versatile as she is beautiful.

Would you rather have the ability teleport or talk to animals?

I’d much rather talk to animals. Besides, I enjoy traveling and teleportation would just take away from the experience.

On a scale of 1-10, how much of a risk taker are you?

I’d give myself an 8 because although I will try almost anything once…I’m not ignorant to safety risks nor am I unaware of how every choice I make now will have an effect on my future.

What is a funny or lame attempt guys have tried to know you?

The classic “just as friends” excuse. You’re telling me that you want to take me to a five-star restaurant and go out dancing…as friends? Although I think it’s possible for men and women to be friends, they most always expect something in return. Although I hope that’s changing, the world is still a pretty sucky place for women in that regard.

Thank you for taking the time to answer our questions Moriah. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”?

For me, sexy is synonymous with confidence…simple as that (but a nice smile never hurts)!

  • Canadian Instagrammer Vanessa Pettorelli

    Canadian Instagrammer Vanessa Pettorelli

Hi! I’m 21 years old from Montreal, Québec and run a fashion, beauty and lifestyle blog on Instagram. I love sharing outfit inspiration, hauls, favourite products, and my daily life. I’m also a full time student majoring in marketing with a minor in psychology at Concordia University.

How will you describe your fashion style and where do you draw inspiration from?

My style ranges from streetwear to preppy; lots of baggy clothing, crewnecks, plaid or knit pants, shoulder bags, platform shoes, and more. I love layering different pieces and mixing neutrals. I draw inspiration from 70s and 90s fashion, other fashion bloggers, TikTok and Pinterest.

What is your beauty regime like and do you use any products regularly?

In terms of makeup, I go for a softer look on a daily basis. I regularly wear concealer, blush, neutral eyeshadow, brown eyeliner, mascara, highlighter and lip gloss. My hair is naturally wavy so I usually just style my curtain bangs and add hair oil.

How is a typical day like for you?

On a typical day, I would grab an iced coffee and breakfast and attend my university classes, then work at my part time job in retail. At night I love listening to music and journaling, or watching Gilmore Girls to unwind.

On days off from work, I plan ahead and shoot all my content, as well as answer emails from brands and partnerships.

Do you have any hobbies or interests?

Other than content creating, I’m very spiritual so I love reading about and practising astrology, meditation, and manifestation. I also love creative writing and poetry.

Would you rather be able to teleport or read minds?

I would rather be able to teleport because I would definitely end up getting hurt by others’ thoughts and opinions about me. Also, I would love to escape to another country in a matter of seconds.

On a scale of 1-10, how much of a foodie are you?

I’m a huge food lover so definitely a 10. I love trying different cuisines and restaurants in Montreal. I also have a food blog with my friend on Instagram! @snv.eats

What do you not get about guys?

I never understood why they take so long to mature and aren’t easily transparent with their emotions. Most men are very hard to read and play mind games which serve no purpose.

Thank you for taking the time to answer our questions Vanessa. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”?

The term “sexy” goes beyond physical traits and means embracing every aspect of yourself, and what makes you feel comfortable. What is deemed sexy is personal to everyone and shouldn’t be defined by societal standards.

  • How To Introduce Sex Toys Into Your Relationship

How To Introduce Sex Toys Into Your Relationship

Sex is an integral part of any romantic relationship, and while frequent sex can help you bond, sex therapists say that focusing on the quality of your sex life is more important than how often you get intimate. Moreover, sex should be enjoyable, and it should not be something that causes more stress than pleasure. To improve your sex life, you need to explore your sexual desires and try something new, such as new positions or sex toys. Introducing sex toys into the bed room can revitalize your sex life and make it a lot more fun in the long run. If you’re thinking about spicing things up in the bedroom, here’s how to introduce sex toys into your relationship.

    Talk about it

If you’ve never used sex toys before, the prospect of using one can be somewhat daunting. However, sex toys have a rich history, with the earliest dildos dating back 30,000 years. At one time they were as viewed to be as essential as food, clothing and water. Today, sex toys are not only used for solo play, but they’re also used to enhance the partnered experience. Many people worry that using sex toys may be offensive to their partner, but keep in mind that toys aren’t going to replace your significant other: nothing can ever replace human contact and intimacy.

To introduce sex toys into your relationship, talk about it in an open manner. If you’re nervous, try opening the conversation with a neutral statement, such as, “What do you think about trying to use a dildo/vibrator/fleshlight together?” You can also reiterate how you love having sex with your partner and that it might be fun to try something new together. Frame the conversation around your shared pleasure so that using toys won’t seem like a chore or like something that you have to do.

    Get into the specifics

Once both of you are onboard with the idea of using sex toys, talk about what you want to try or how you intend to use them. For instance, women may want to have a more dominant role in the bedroom, and may want to try a strap-on, while men may want to experiment with orgasm delay and use a cock ring. Being specific about what you want to gain from using sex toys can help both of you know what to expect so you’ll have a pleasant experience using them in bed.

    Shop for toys together

Part of the fun of introducing sex toys into your relationship is shopping for them. If both of you are shy, you can go online and look for a variety of toys that both of you can use. Just make sure to check the reviews so you’ll know that you’re getting the best toy for your budget. You may also want to add some lube into your virtual cart, especially if you’re buying a sex toy that’s used for penetration.

Using sex toys can enhance your sexual pleasure, and it can bring the spark back into your sex life. Try these tips to introduce sex toys into your relationship, and have more fun with your partner in bed.

  • New Jersey High Fashion Blogger, Tecklah

New Jersey High Fashion Blogger, Tecklah

Hi! Thank you for taking the time to interview me. I’m a high fashion blogger from New Jersey.

What inspires your fashion style and where do you love to shop from?

My fashion inspiration is mainly from Old Hollywood, they made glamour look so effortless. There are so many places! Right now I’m loving House of CB, Neiman Marcus and Chanel!

Do you have a lifestyle or fashion hack that you can’t live without?

Fashion stables such as a little black dress and faux leather leggings does wonders. So easy to style casual, edgy or dressy.

Which 3 things do you enjoy doing most in the city you live in?

Three things I enjoy doing the most is shopping (there are so many great malls and boutiques!), brunch, and when it’s warm out on the beach.

On a scale of 1-10, how much of a foodie are you?

I’m a huge foodie so I’m going to say 10. I love trying new restaurants and new recipes.

If you can have a super power, what will it be?

Hmm that’s a tough one. I honestly would love to time travel.

What kind of music are you into and do you have any favorite artists?

With music, I’m not so picky. I could listen to anything. My favorite would probably be EDM and pop although I have started listening to metal recently.  Some of my favorite artists are Zedd, Dua Lipa and Calvin Harris.

What turns you off on a date?

The biggest turn off on a date to me is little to no sense of humor. Life is too short to be serious all the time and dates are supposed to be fun.

Thank you for taking the time to answer our questions Tecklah. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”?

To me sexy means confidence. When you are confident about yourself and who you are, you are sexy.

  • Korean Fashion & Beauty Lover Hyemi Yoon

Korean Fashion & Beauty Lover Hyemi Yoon

Hi I’m Hyemi Yoon, I’m 21 this year and I’m from South Korea. I’m studying Software Engineering in Shanghai, China. I really enjoy fashion, makeup, and beauty as well as computer programming!

How will you describe your fashion style and where do you draw inspiration from?

I’m normally the kind of person who just wears whatever I want. I wouldn’t say I’m an expert in fashion, however I take a lot of time preparing for my Instagram posts. I usually find inspiration from European Instagram stars these days. I can’t pick a specific style but at the moment, I’m obsessed with the British style.

What is your beauty regime like and do you use any products regularly?

I absolutely love using skin care and makeup products. Thankfully there are lots of beauty companies to choose from with great products, some of which give me free products and samples. Every morning I apply toner, lotion, vitamin C essence, and moisturizer.

As I have hay fever and other allergies, I always apply suncream before I go out, even if it’s a rainy day – I think that’s really important. If it’s been a long, busy day, I will always apply a sleeping pack before going to bed to soothe my face.

Do you have any hobbies or interests?

I’ve always been interested in computing and coding and recently, I’ve started studying Ethical Hacking. I would say learning about computer languages and generally other global languages is a huge interest of mine.

I obviously love fashion, makeup, and beauty as I invest a lot of time into this. It’s slowly becoming more and more like a job which I’m so grateful for.

If you could time travel, what will you like to witness or experience?

I think my answer for this question would always change but for now I think I would want to travel back in time to old Europe/England and experience the old style fashion, architecture, and food. This would be a dream of mine.

Would you rather be able to teleport or read minds?

I would choose teleporting! To be honest, I feel like I need to say something amazing and historical that I’d do but what keeps popping into my mind is to have Belgian Waffles and explore the cities of Europe!

On a scale of 1-10, how much of a foodie are you and what are your favorites?

15/10. I love food so bad. It’s funny but when you find me in a bad mood, I would suggest to give me any little sweet thing, after that I will be the most lovely person in the world.  Haha

What do you not get about guys?

I can’t understand why guys are so against using makeup! I don’t see why makeup and beauty should only be promoted for girls. In Korea and much of Asia, it’s completely normal for guys to wear makeup and I think it should be accepted in many other cultures as part of freedom of expression. There’s nothing wrong with a guy who cares about himself and applying makeup and beauty products doesn’t make him less of a man.

Thank you for taking the time to answer our questions Hyemi. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”?

Personally, I think if someone cares about themselves (in both health and appearance) and is truly passionate about something, they can be sexy. However, it’s easy to say someone’s body is “sexy” without knowing how they act and think about themselves and other people.

  • Miss Intercontinental New Zealand Arielle Keil

Miss Intercontinental New Zealand Arielle Keil

My name is Ari! I was born in Davao City in the Philippines but I grew up in West Auckland in New Zealand! I am studying creative advertising and I have a Bachelors degree in Fashion Design! My favourite foods are fried chicken and wontons!

What was the experience participating and winning Miss Intercontinental New Zealand 2020 like?

The preparation and lead up to the pageant was super overwhelming! There was a lot to do and I had several meltdowns! Pageantry is very gruelling at times it tests your mental and emotional strength but walking away with the title or Miss Intercontinental New Zealand was very rewarding and a dream come true!

Has a lot of things changed in your life since you won?

I’m definitely not famous but I’m also not a ‘nobody’ anymore so it’s been crazy. People reach out asking for interviews coz in the beginning I used to always say “I’m just little Ari from the middle of nowhere” but I’ve adjusted to it a bit! I get recognised every now and then too but pageants aren’t big in New Zealand so it hasn’t been super crazy!

Is there something you have always wanted to learn or do but haven’t had the time?

I’m terrible at it but I wish I could sing! I used to always wish I could get singing lessons as a kid! I’d love to learn how to surf one day too now I learnt how to swim!

What hobbies or interests do you have?

I absolutely love being by the beach and swimming and spending time with my friends going on little adventures and road trips! I also love anything Hello Kitty or My Melody! My room has a lot of Hello Kitty plushies and lots of pink!

If you could travel anywhere in the world for a holiday today, where will you go?

I would love to go back home to the Philippines! Anywhere that is warm and tropical! I love summer and the beach!

Do you have any favorite quotes or mottos you like to use?

Apologise when you’re wrong, apologise when you hurt others feelings but never apologise for being you”  and the rule “if it won’t matter in 5 years don’t spend more than 5 minutes worrying about it” both are quoted and I apply to my daily life!

What turns you off on a date?

I love when men have drive, ambition and big dreams like myself! People who are lazy and have no drive is a huge turn off! Also, when men aren’t kind that is a put off also!

Thank you for taking the time to answer our questions Arielle. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”?

Sexy to me is about confidence. It doesn’t matter if you’re wearing lingerie or a floor length dress if you’re confident and own who you are that in itself is sexy!

  • Travel & Dance Enthusiast Kiana Hong

Travel & Dance Enthusiast Kiana Hong

Hi everyone! I’m Kiana, currently a university student studying Arts Management and Psychology. I grew up in Port Moody, BC and I still live there now. I’m always down to meet new people and experience new things.

What inspires your fashion style and where do you love to shop from?

I believe my fashion style is the outcome of my creative research. Few obvious ones are the fashion accounts that I follow on social media and from watching a movie or a TV show. My biggest fashion inspiration is my mom. The truth is I can’t pull off most of her styles, but I learn a lot from her.

Zara is one of my favorite places to shop at since their style range is very wide from simple/minimalistic to unique/wild. They ALWAYS have the color I want. For example, if I’m looking for a certain type of beige, some stores’ beige tends to be too tan or light for me, but I always find the perfect color I’m looking for at Zara.

How much of a foodie are you and what are your favorites?

I am a huge foodie. I love trying new places and taking my family/friends to the restaurants I discovered. It makes me happy watching them also have the great experience I had. I love love love malatang.

My favorite malatang place is the one in Toronto called Bone Soup Mala on Yonge St. I also like truffle because it enhances the flavor of the food (truffle fries, truffle cheese, truffle pasta!).

What hobbies or interests are you into?

Dance! I have a huge passion for dancing and I once wanted to seriously pursue it as my career, but never really had the chance to learn professionally. It’s only a hobby because realistically speaking, I don’t have the natural talent in dancing and the act of dancing itself makes me happy whether I’m good at it or not. I’m just waiting until the pandemic comes to an end so I can start attending dance classes. It has been on my to-do list for a while.

Do you believe in any superstition?

Knocking on wood and crossing fingers!

Are there any quotes or mottos you like to use regularly?

“It matters not what you’ve done, but what you do with what you’ve done for others” – Noah Centineo

If you could learn anything in this world, what will it be?

Being able to speak all different languages because knowing the language also means knowing the culture. It is really fascinating seeing that there are so many different cultures that exist in this world and every culture has a different history and morale.

Also, because I love travelling and being able to speak the language of the country that I’m travelling to would make my experience there even better.

What do you not get about guys?

Catcalling. I have never seen an instance of successful catcalling. If anything, it makes women feel very uncomfortable and scare us away. And yet, it prevails.

Thank you for taking the time to answer our questions Kiana. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”?

    Self-love and confidence 🙂

  • Three Tips To Help You Get More Comfortable Talking About Sex

Three Tips To Help You Get More Comfortable Talking About Sex

For some people, discussing sex is as easy as breathing, and as natural too. Some people can dive into conversations about all the glorious messy details of their sexual encounters, or those of others, while they’re queuing for their morning coffee. For others, it’s a little trickier. Now, of course there are people who are quite happy not getting into the nitty gritty of their sex lives with other people, and there are those who are perfectly fine with not having conversations about adult-rated material with their friends.

However, talking about sex can be one of those issues which can become a bit of a neurosis if we’re not careful. Some of us become incredibly tense, awkward and anxious when the subject comes up in conversation, and it can feel like you’re suddenly cut off from your circle of friends. Like you’re the odd one out, and that everyone knows about it.

First of all: there’s nothing wrong with feeling uncomfortable talking about sex, and if you do, you’re far from alone. But just as with anything that we feel uncomfortable or anxious about, it helps to address the issue, or at least take a closer look at it, before it becomes something you can’t stop worrying about. If you’re looking for ways to feel more relaxed when it comes to talking about relationships, sex, and everything that comes with it, here are a few things you can do to help.

    Try To Relax

OK, so we’ve just spent a couple of paragraphs talking about the fact that you’re not relaxed, but as glib as this header sounds, remember that it’s a process, not a switch that you just flick on and off. No one’s saying that you should treat your next drinks with friends as an opportunity for a Fleabag-style confessional if that’s really not you, just remember that you’re only going to get more comfortable if you take things at your own pace.

If you’re feeling like you want to be more open when it comes to talking about sex with your partner, remember to treat it as a conversation rather than a bombshell. If you want to not freeze up every time there’s a conversation about sex with a group of friends, start small, and start with a small group, or even one friend, that you feel comfortable with.

Get Comfortable With The Idea Of Sex Being Discussed

If you’re not that comfortable with diving into a conversation about sex in person, then why not give listening a try? A lot of the anxiety around conversations about sex stem from the idea that this is something that is somehow shameful, something that shouldn’t be talked about, that we’re doing something wrong if we do. We don’t need to tell you that this is not a healthy attitude to have towards sex, but it is one that can change with a little patience and work. Listening to podcasts about sex could help you to start that journey of getting more comfortable talking about it.

And we’re not talking about anything overly serious, or indeed psychological for that matter. Talking about sex should be something that is natural and liberating, and that’s why podcasts about sex are so much fun. There are a host of sex-related podcasts out there to discover, from shows that made from people who want to talk frankly about their sexual encounters to shows created by sex workers who want to bring their profession out of the shadows and get rid of all that age-old, old-fashioned stigma. For example, the BBC podcast Brown Girls Do It Too recently featured a guest appearance from Alicia Sweets of Babestation, who talked about her experiences in UK sex chat and some of the stigma around sex in the British Asian community.

    Try Talking About It Online

If you’re finding talking about sex in person to be a bit of an uphill struggle, then why not start by broaching the subject online? There are loads of anonymous blogs out there written by people who want to talk about their sexual experiences without compromising their identity or those of their partners or other people in their lives, or you could create a social media account or forum profile under another name to allow you to discuss the issues that are bothering you (or exciting you!) without any of the pressure that comes from doing it face to face.

This may not be a long-term solution to helping you join in that conversation with you friends at the pub, but it’s a good starting point and will help you to develop the vocabulary you need to express yourself. It’s also a good reminder that you are not alone, and that there are many people out there who need a bit of help when it comes to opening up.
