    Californian Model Kimberly Hua

It’s an honor being considered for an interview for your online magazine SimplySxy! I was born and raised in Riverside, CA. I am currently a student at Mt San Antonio College studying to be a Respiratory Therapist but my dream was to always become a full-time model and eventually having my own business.

Was being a model something you’ve always wanted and how did you get started into modeling?

Being a model was definitely something I dreamt of as a young age, as young as 15 years old! I got inspired to be a model from the gorgeous import model @dannieriel (IG). She really inspired me into starting and that is what I did.

My first photoshoot I ever did was Import and over the years I worked with companies such as @GetNRG @TunedinTokyo @Jamacor, Nissan, being featured in music videos, small companies, and many more, I try to do it all and I am really grateful for these opportunities.

Which is a memorable photoshoot or modeling experience you have had before?

My most memorable photoshoot was in September of 2019 when I collabed with @adrianshotit and @sergivisuals. It was my first rooftop photoshoot and the weather, the vibes, the view and sunset was absolutely perfect that day. We got amazing shots and from there I can say my modeling really excelled.

Which 3 things do you enjoy doing most in the city you live in?

3 things I enjoy doing most in my city is finding new food places in my area, finding new spots for city views, and driving around in my 370z.

What hobbies or interests do you have?

Modeling is definitely my number 1 passion. I am also a car enthusiast in which I am a proud owner of my dream car, a 2018 370z Nissan. Fun fact, another dream car of mine is a Nissan Silvia S-15 Spec-R. I am also a designer and I love finding new ideas/ inspirations for content and goal moves.

If you could be a cartoon character, who will you be?

If I was a cartoon character I would be Gaara from Naruto.

Would you rather have super sensitive taste or super sensitive hearing?

I would rather have super sensitive taste rather than super sensitive hearing because every little sound will be overwhelming and as for super sensitive taste it would not be as bad and you would be able to enjoy your favorite foods twice as much.

What is a funny or weird attempt a guy has tried to know you?

I think the funniest attempt of a guy trying to get to know me (which has happened often) is asking me if I want to go get boba as a date, seeing I am an Asian girl and thinking I like boba.

Thank you for taking the time to answer our questions Kimberly. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”?

Thank you for having me again, it was a pleasure. Being sexy means to me personally is how a person carries themselves, showing confidence, having goals, personality, being yourself and showing passion in what you do.

  • Swedish Model Julia Pylad

    Swedish Model Julia Pylad

Thank you so much! I am 21 years old and I live in Sweden where I am both born and raised. I am currently studying healthcare administration! I also work in childcare and do some modelling.

Was being a model something you’ve always wanted and how did you get started into modeling?

I have always been into photography, but I never even thought about the idea of standing in front of the camera instead of behind it. But, in the ending of 2019, I started modelling more and more and I really loved it because it gives you the opportunity to be extremely creative and be part of the making of photographs, but in a whole other way than when you’re the photographer.

Which is a memorable photoshoot or modeling experience you have had before?

If I would choose one, it must be a photoshoot I did in Mexico in January 2020. We were in an amazing city that really had a warm and loving atmosphere around it which made the photoshoot magical! It was great weather, I was there with an incredibly talented team and we had a really good time.

I think the photos really succeeded to illustrate those feelings which is something that I think is so amazing about photography, pictures really are worth a thousand words. I will always remember this photoshoot because it was such a memorable time in my life!

Which 3 things do you enjoy doing most in the city you live in?

I love that I live close to the coast so I can go to see the sea. But if I stay in the city, I love to go for walks with my dog or visit any of the amazing restaurants we have here!

What hobbies or interests do you have?

Besides photography which I also enjoy doing behind the camera, I love to bake! I have also been playing the piano because I love music, but not for a while now. I wish to start learning again soon though!

If you could be a cartoon character, who will you be?

Well if I could wish to be someone, I wish I could be Wonder Woman! I would love to have that kind of strength and to be able to fly (!!). I would go travelling by air all the time haha!

Would you rather have super sensitive taste or super sensitive hearing?

I think I would rather have super sensitive hearing, it would be so nice to be able to hear so much of the surroundings!

What is a funny or weird attempt a guy has tried to know you?

I don’t know really… I “unfortunately” have no good story here to tell haha.

Thank you for taking the time to answer our questions Julia. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”?

First and foremost, I do not define sexy as something physical! Everything is in the way you think and act. Intelligence, kindness, confidence and humbleness are what makes “sexy”. Your actions and your personality are what matters, always.

    Musician & Model Crystallea Monroe

I love everything about being on camera but I’m a musician first and model second!

What is the experience like being a playboy model?

It was totally exposed but in a good way!

What do you like to do outside of modeling?

Eating and drinking with my friends and aunties!

Is there a story behind one of your tattoos that you like to share?

They are the stories of my life and I like to call them the scars of my life.

Would you rather have the ability to fly or talk to animals?

I would definitely choose to fly.

Which 3 accessories do you always pack in your luggage when you travel?

    Bronzers, lip gloss and lashes.

What is a funny or lame attempt guys have tried to know you?

“Milk does a body good, but how much milk have you been drinking?”

Thank you for taking the time to answer our questions Crystallea. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”?

My definition of sexy is when you care more about who you are inside than the way you look like.

  • Hawaiian Influencer Lace Leilani Rose

    Hawaiian Influencer Lace Leilani Rose

Aloha! I’m a 22-year-old island girl Influencer based in Molokai, Hawaii. I was born and raised here on the island of Molokai along with majority of my family. I’ve been creating content for about 4-6 years now. I started creating content when I was 16 with a simple YouTube channel giving my personal reviews on beauty products.

Since then, I’ve posted fashion and makeup content inconsistently for the last few years. But due to COVID, I’ve had the time to create and rebrand my relaunch into social media. You can now find my new content on my Personal Blog, YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram weekly!

What inspires your fashion style and where do you love to shop from?

My mood inspires my fashion style. In the morning I wake up and think “What do I feel like wearing today?” My go-to styles are usually basics and feminine.  If I don’t know what to wear, and I love to be comfortable, I’m usually in a crop top, jeans, and a cardigan where it’s also presentable to be seen in.

If I’m in a good mood, I find myself drifting to Girl Next Door looks with cute dresses and skirts with the occasional jeans jacket to accessorize.

On my lazy “I’m not feelings it” days. I find myself wearing a sporty look with a crop top and leggings or even tank/crop top and sweats.

I love to shop at work! LOL! Let me elaborate on that! So my night job is in retail. I work at the only non-locally owned clothing store on island, Jeans Warehouse. At least 75% of my wardrobe is from Jeans Warehouse.

I also love to support local! So, if I have a date night I love to shop at Hawaii’s Finest for cute local attire. They also sell men’s clothing which is rare to find on Molokai. I love to be matchy matchy with my couples outfits and if you do too, Hawaii’s Finest is the place to go for local apparel!

Occasionally I shop at Something for Everybody. Another locally owned store. I shop here for my beach attire like bikinis, pareos, hats, etc. This is the shop that started my influencing business back in 2017. I started by taking pictures in their custom hats.

How much of a foodie are you and what are your favorites?

Oh my goodness! For a small 5’1, 108 pound woman, I consider myself a semi-big eater! So yes I’m a foodie! Let me just insert this picture below of me and my other half in our natural habitat!

I know for sure with almost everything, I need my rice! I’ve heard it’s just a Hawaii people thing. My go to snack is a razzleberry peace tea, spam musubi, and red lihing mui seed!

What content do you love to create and how do you decide?

At the moment I love to create makeup plus fashion videos. I’m obsessed with the transition from my normal everyday look to something stylish, trendy and my face looks on point! One of my coworkers watches my content and she comments, “I really wanna meet her! She’s pretty!” But sadly, I don’t wear my makeup and outfits in public but one day maybe she’ll get to meet my alter ego!

I decide what content to create based on the latest trends I see on Instagram or TikTok. If I don’t like any of the trends I see, I’ll create content based on the holidays/occasion for the month. For my makeup looks specifically, I like to pick colors that compliment my brown eyes.

Do you believe in any superstition?

I guess you can call me superstitious. There’s a few I live by regularly. For example, if my nose itches like crazy, I believe someone new is walking into my life. This person can either be someone from my past paying me a visit to rekindle our friendship or someone completely new I’ve never met before. But that’s just one of the many superstitions I live by!

Are there any quotes or mottos you like to use regularly?

Yes! I took a leadership course two semesters ago and this is what I live by with everything I create and everything I am. That uncomfortable feeling when you try something new? Yeah embrace it! We want to take risks, we want to inspire, and we do this by embracing vulnerability!

It keeps me going when I feel discouraged or judged in this industry. This quote also mentions what to look for in people you surround yourself with. You want to surround yourself with people that will encourage you to be the best version of yourself.

If you could learn anything in this world, what will it be?

If I could learn anything, it would be how to style my hair! Thats a struggle for me! I have unruly Hawaiian Curls and hair for three people. It’s a struggle to manage, so majority of the time, my hair is up in a bun, ponytail, or down.

What do you not get about guys?

Where do I even start…. There’s a lot I don’t get about guys and I’ve been living with one for over four years now! Women really do compliment men in my opinion. When I first moved in with my other half in 2017, he lived like a bachelor with absolutely no taste. The house was empty and had no personality. How was he living like that?? I have no idea!

But when I moved in I added curtains, and color coordinated everything to a nice grey, added some new furniture to match the house, and more! I know some guys have taste but the ones I’ve come across really don’t. In some places men lack and where they lack, we women make up for it.

Thank you for taking the time to answer our questions Lace. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”?

To me sexy is confidence. Whether you’re showing skin, covering up, no face on, or face on as long as you have confidence in how you look for the day you’ll be sexy!

  • LA Digital Creator & Designer Jenny Huang

LA Digital Creator & Designer Jenny Huang

Thank you for having me! Absolutely, my name is Jenny and I’m from Los Angeles, CA. I currently work as a UX Designer (think web design + development) for a non-profit and I live in West LA with my boyfriend and our two cats.

What inspires your fashion style and where do you love to shop from?

I honestly love different types of fashion styles, it really depends on my mood. My biggest inspiration is probably from other girls on social media 😍 I think my current favorite at the moment is Zara!

How much of a foodie are you and what are your favorites?

Omg I absolutely LOVE brunch! I’ve visited so many brunch places in LA and definitely have my favorites. My all time favorite french toast is from Perch LA!! I’ve tried so many and there’s no competition.

What hobbies or interests are you into?

I love designing, thank goodness it’s my job. I am obsessed with interior design, creative design and lately I’ve been experimenting with photography. I’ve also gotten into snowboarding! I went to Mammoth in February and I’m so obsessed now, I plan to get my own gear and everything. 😍

Do you believe in any superstition?

Yes and no haha. Definitely stuff like “knock on wood” I do, but other stuff like believing black cats are bad luck, not so much.

Are there any quotes or mottos you like to use regularly?

The comfort zone is an amazing place, but rarely anything grows there. I hate feeling too comfortable and complacent with things in life, so I always find ways to help myself grow as an individual!

If you could learn anything in this world, what will it be?

I would love to learn about the different cultures around the world. I feel like every time I travel, I get to take a glimpse of what others’ lives look like and it’s so enlightening. Just learning in general is very rewarding, which is why I want to go back to school and pursue a Masters.

What do you not get about guys?

I know this isn’t all guys, but when guys cheer each other on for ripping a loud one? LOL…like I saw a video of a girl going into a public mens bathroom and sitting in a stall with a whoopee cushion and hearing the reaction of other men in the other stalls.

Two reactions that stood out were “nice one dude!” and “check this out *farts SO LOUD AND LONG LOL*” Nothing is wrong with this, but I just cannot imagine me going into a womens stall and telling the girl next to me “Nice one! Check this out” 😂

Thank you for taking the time to answer our questions Jenny. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”?

I would define “sexy” as feeling confident with yourself, whether that be physically, emotionally or mentally. You look good, you feel good and no one is going to tell you otherwise! Thanks again for having me!

  • Philippines Content Creator Zrhene Pamintuan

    Philippines Content Creator Zrhene Pamintuan

I am a content creator in the Philippines for two years now but I am also striving to be my own girl boss too.

I am obsessed with coffee a lot and prefer heartfelt conversations more than ever.

How is your fashion style like and where do you draw your fashion inspiration from?

When it comes to my fashion style, I don’t want to limit it by labeling it as ‘something’ because my style mostly depends on my mood, music or even the movie I watched. I don’t like limiting myself to certain pieces only — I always like to explore and try different things. I mean, I have one of those days that you will see me acting all princess’y but also acts like a bad b*tch the next day.

For my fashion inspo, just like what I mentioned earlier, it depends on the music that I listen to on a daily basis. If I am listening to R&B, expect that I come to look edgy on that day. But once I play my La Mer, Moon River, Ou Est Ma Tete?, Bistro Fada, La vie en rose etc, expect that I came to act like I am Emily from Emily in Paris that day.

I also have individuals which I look up to when it comes to style, I like Ericka Villongco’s style so much, Koleen Diaz, Rihanna and Hailey Bieber.

Which is the best compliment you have received?

That I am smart. The common misconception of people about me is that I am all about my looks – yes, I care about how I look BUT I am not all about that. Behind the makeup is a competitive career woman, I would rather supply myself with all the knowledge or wisdom I can get than supply myself with all the expensive makeup products (THANK YOU SO MUCH TO THE BRANDS WHO TRUST ME, I DON’T BUY MAKEUP ANYMORE!) I own more books than makeup, that’s a fact.

On a scale of 1-10, how much of a foodie are you?

Probably, 7. There are days wherein I feel like I can eat whatever I like but I also have those days wherein I only eat when I am really hungry. To be honest, I had an eating disorder because of some personal reason before and it caused so much impact in my life.

I am coping up, I workout and try to eat as often as I can. THANKS TO MY BEST FRIEND AND FAMILY!!!

Is there a city or country you’ve always liked to travel to for a holiday?

I like traveling, I like being in different places and discovering or adapting to different cultures. Locally, I would love to be in Siargao — the vibe, the people, the food, the beach everything. Internationally, there are so many countries I’d love to spend different holidays with like for Christmas, I’d love to be in the USA.

On my 24th birthday, I would love to spend it in Korea (hoping Covid is gone), for summer I’d love to be in Bali but if my future person is reading this I’d love him to propose in the city where we will meet. Just kidding, but that’s a hint! Haha.

Would you rather be able to control fire or water?

I am a fire sign – Aries. Constructively speaking, water has many uses and fire is known to be destructive. That is what I like about fire, everyone thinks so badly of it but if you think deeply, If you can control your own fire — you can give light to others, warmth on their coldest days, guide on their darkest paths. I like controlling my own fire, raging but at the same time I can remain untouchable.

If you could time travel, what will you like to witness or experience?

If I can go back time, I would love to revisit the moments that my grandmother is still alive. I am a Lola’s girl and losing her was the hardest moment of my life. I just want to feel her hugs, forehead kisses, hearing her laugh and her old stories again.

Another moment I’d like to revisit is probably the life pre-covid, how I wish the present looks like it.

    Does chivalry still exist today?

Actually it is a very sensitive topic given the fact that many people like to read more between the lines nowadays. The word ‘chivalry’ can sound sexist because for some people, it is an act that depicts women to be weaker compared to men.

I will answer this based on how I feel, generally about how I view this. For me, chivalry still exists and hopefully will exist forever — there is a term called ‘modern chivalry’ an act of being gentleman and courteous to women. I don’t expect all men to be chivalrous towards me, I am an independent woman BUT I would be a hypocrite if I say that I don’t expect the guy that I am dating to be chivalrous towards me — I am all about the little things like opening the door for me or basically making me feel like I am safe.

For me, I can say that ‘old chivalry’ is dead because I don’t need every man to protect me, I can very much handle myself. Modern chivalry can suffice.

Thank you for taking the time to answer our questions Zrhene. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”?

‘Sexy’ means intelligence and passion for me. Men with abs won’t make me go crazy over them, seduce me with how your mind works, your music taste, your perspective in life, your talent or even when you’re talking about how your day went with work — you’d probably catch me just looking intimately over you.

If men can make me drool over their nice body, I’d probably have dated more than three guys now! Thanks Pete, I am always attracted to intelligent and passionate men.

  • UK Singer Songwriter Eve Antoi

    UK Singer Songwriter Eve Antoi

Hey, I’m Eve Antoi, a Pop/R&B singer songwriter. I’m 26 years old and this is just the start of my journey in music. Although, I’ve always been involved in music from a young age. I’m originally from South London. But, I’m now living up North in Liverpool, UK with my husband and 3 children.

My parents were both born in Jamaica, my mother moved to the UK when she was a teen and my father was raised in the US and when he moved over to the UK they had me. Their first date was spent songwriting and singing along to old school grooves. This is my main inspiration to the person I am today.

Was music always a part of your life growing up and what inspired you to be a singer?

Yes, from the time I was born I was always at house parties that my mum would hold or my sisters would be blasting 90’s garage from their speakers every weekend. Not only that, I was a huge fan on the spice girls and I really wanted to be one of them.

During school, I was part of the school choir and in secondary I began to perform at dance and talent shows. I was not always confident within myself though, so I didn’t really dream of becoming a singer until my early 20’s when I met my husband Divvi who’s also a musician. I got my confidence up and went after my passion!

What challenges do you face as a singer songwriter?

The challenges I’ve faced as a singer songwriter is having anxiety and a lack of confidence at the start of my journey. It takes a lot of confidence to believe in yourself enough when you’ve written a song or you’re about to record it. I’d write songs and literally overthink every detail. However, I was able to push through that and just let loose on a track expressing myself the way I truly wanted to.

How will you describe a typical day like for yourself?

I start my days by meditating with my husband, writing a list of things I’m grateful for and then I do my usual mum duties with the kids before I get dressed for the day or I laze about in bed whilst my husband sorts the kids and makes my breakfast lol. We aren’t like the typical couple, we equally help one another. I wouldn’t look this good every day if it weren’t for the love I’m shown each morning.

If you could collaborate with anyone past or present, who will it be?

I would love to collaborate with Drake and Doja Cat in the future. I’ve been a huge Drake fan from the time he released his first mixtapes like Room For Improvement. His music was different and I’ve not heard one song of his that I don’t enjoy listening to. I love the diversity that both artists bring and I’m heavily inspired by Doja Cat’s self expression, high sex appeal and her music is pure gold.

Is there something you’ve always wanted to do but have yet to find the time for it?

I’ve always wanted to travel the world and experience different cultures. I think that would be amazing.

Have you been in an embarrassing situation before that is funny now when looking back?

When I was 15 I loved Rihanna’s bright red hair that she used to wear. I brought these red hair extensions, shaved the sides of my hair and put those extensions in and thought I was the hottest girl ever until a kid on the bus compared me a to a chicken! I mean….

What turns you off on a date?

Someone who’s lacking confidence and no banter and doesn’t really try.

Thank you for taking the time to answer our questions Eve. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”?

Sexy is being confident in who you are, not caring about what anyone thinks of you and loving who you are. That’s sexy to me.

  • 8 Ways To Be More Adventurous In Bed

8 Ways To Be More Adventurous In Bed

Everyone has sexual fantasies. Perhaps some may dream about re-creating the red room of pain from a popular movie or maybe you just like to try new positions with your partner to level up your sex life. Either way, talking about any sexual desire can be a vulnerable and awkward experience. So, how can you be more adventurous in bed?

Other than searching for the best sex tips and advice, there are various ways to be more adventurous, and these may include the following:

    1. Communicate Honestly And Openly With Your Partner

Asking your partner to try something new in bed may frequently make the other person feel a little insecure. If your partner says no to your request, it’ll typically leave you feeling prudish, unadventurous, and unsexy. To avoid this, be open with your partner about why certain fantasies appeal to you while reassuring them that you find them sexy.

Also, sharing sexual fantasies must be taken as a compliment. They’re showing commitment and trust by asking you, instead of seeking it elsewhere and taking the coward’s way out

    2. Start With A Massage Or A Bath

Rather than jumping into lovemaking, why not try something that’ll relax both of you and will help you feel intimate? Doing something that’ll connect you intimately with your partner shows that you care about your relationship, and you’re not just after sex. So, take a shower and cuddle in a warm bath. Let your partner massage you, and relax before you have amazing sex.

    3. Create Rules

One of the ways to be more adventurous in bed is by prohibiting standby activities for a certain period. Have a rule that you can’t go down for a certain position for several weeks, or you can tweak the position to something like you’re both not allowed to do anything except kissing one another for the whole week. It could be an arbitrary rule, but it’ll feel a bit sexy that particular things aren’t allowed.

    4. Use Sexual Vocabulary

While learning some new sex positions is essential, there are ways to be more adventurous in bed, and one of them is by talking dirty. It can be used in bed and out of it to keep some things spicy. For instance, you can send dirty text messages or watch instructional videos where you can use dirty talk to keep your partner attracted to you and to build sexual tension.

    5. Learn New Positions

Learning new positions is another thing you should take into consideration, especially if you’re serious about being more adventurous in bed.

At present, there are countless sex positions you can try that you’ll never get bored in bed. Depending on your preferences, talk with your partner about the positions you can try so that you both can agree on which to consider.

    6. Play Games

Another way to be more adventurous in bed is to be playful and creative. There are many fun ways to turn lovemaking into a game. Make some bets on trivia questions and let the prize be a massage. Wrestle with one another naked and tease each other. With such ideas, you can make your bedroom the liveliest place ever, which can be of great help to awaken your sex life.

    7. Experiment With Your Fantasies

Many people think that they must only suggest to their partner the activities they know she or he would want to accept. This is because others are scared of being vulnerable and how their partner will perceive them if they suggest a certain activity. For this reason, some tend to depend on standbys, and play it safe. The only problem is that it’s hard to know if you’ll like something if you haven’t tried it yet. Just explore such things that sound interesting to you. For instance, the idea of being dominated might bring curiosity, but you’re afraid to suggest it. The best thing that you should do is to give it a shot. Even if it doesn’t end up being your favorite activity, you’ll have a new experience with your lover.

    8. Set Boundaries And Be Clear On What You Want

Many people can cope with doing some unusual sexual things consistently. However, some people want it simple. This is the reason setting boundaries and being clear on what you want can make everything more comfortable, build trust, and create a positive experience.

    Final Thoughts

While you don’t always have to try something new in bed, the willingness to be adventurous can help you achieve a more satisfying sex life and happy relationship. Blogger & Influencer Ashley Giov

Hi! My name is Ashley and I’m a Los Angeles-based blogger, but I’m originally from the Washington D.C. area. I cover fashion, plant-based food, travel, and lifestyle for my personal blog. I also write about sex and relationships for publications like VICE and Bustle.

What inspires your fashion style and where do you love to shop from?

I feel like anyone would be lying if they said they didn’t get inspired by Instagram these days. Even if you’re not looking for fashion inspo, it’s everywhere on my feed. I was going to the beach the other day and randomly was like, “Hey, I saw my friend @lexiejayy wear a bandana on her head and it looked cute, I’m going to try it.” I ended up wearing that style nearly every day when I was in Mexico last month.

Other than that, my style staples have always been kind of the same. I’ve loved cheetah print, leather, spikes, and high heels since I was a kid. In terms of shopping, ever since Dolls Kill got cancelled I’ve been struggling to find my favorite store. Believe it or not I don’t actually shop very often these days. I do rent clothing through FashionPass, which is one of my best purchases ever (you can read my full review of it here).

Do you have a lifestyle or fashion hack that you can’t live without?

I always keep a pair of sneakers in my car in case I decide I want to walk around after dinner or wherever and I’m wearing the wrong kind of footwear. When I was working in an office, my favorite “hack” was just throwing a plain black turtleneck or a white or black t-shirt under all my non-office appropriate clothing to make it work for the office. Plus, I could take it off after work if I was going out.

Which 3 things do you enjoy doing most in the city you live in?

I love going out to eat and trying new foods so much, and I’m lucky that LA has a ton of great plant-based spots, so that’s definitely number one (a recent fave is PSY Kitchen).

I also love just getting outside in some way—whether it’s laying out at a friend’s pool, taking a walk on the beach, or doing a quick hike up Runyon Canyon which is conveniently located in my backyard.

Third…maybe hitting a great house party. I don’t really drink, so bars aren’t really my vibe, but I like house parties because you get to meet new people and actually have real conversations without music blaring in your ear.

Are you more of a morning person or night owl?

I never know how to answer this question because I’m more of an in-between person. If I had it my way I’d wake up at 9 or 10 and go to sleep around 10 or 11 (I sleep A LOT). I definitely am more productive in the mornings though, I can’t get shit done once the sun goes down.

If you can have a super power, what will it be?

Probably teleportation. I like driving, so it’s not even about LA traffic, but imagine all the traveling you could do if you could skip those long-haul flights! I could also probably just get so much more done without all that commute time.

What kind of music are you into and do you have any favorite artists?

My best friend once said that my Spotify account sounded like it was shared by multiple people, so when I say “everything” I really mean everything! My favorite genre is probably alt pop with rap (specifically by women) coming in at a close second. I love Black Bear, the 1975, Arctic Monkeys, Megan Thee Stallion, Saweetie, Flo Milli.

What turns you off on a date?

Flakiness/tardiness/inability to plan. That’s definitely one of my biggest pet peeves with dating and social interactions in general. I’m a big planner and I’m a busy bitch (especially during non-COVID times), so if you can’t make a dinner reservation a week in advance, you’ll probably never see me.

Thank you for taking the time to answer our questions Ashley. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”?

I think sexiness is directly related to confidence. It’s not so much about how you look, but how you carry yourself and the confidence you exude.

    Influencer & Vlogger Zerah Ruth

First of all, I am beyond grateful to have this opportunity! I am a Social Media Influencer and doing vlogs sometimes, currently taking up my Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration focusing on Human Resource Management. During my leisure time, I do really enjoy reading books, playing mobile games and most of all, listening to Korean pop songs.

What inspired you to create a YouTube channel and how long have you been making videos?

What inspires me to create my YouTube account is to use this opportunity and medium to share my life, my knowledge, and experiences. To motivate other viewers as it motivates me myself, I have been doing vlogs for about three years now.

How do you choose what content to create and how long does a typical video take to make?

For the content, I do not usually choose, as long as I know it’s fun to watch, sharing tips or ideas and I’m enjoying the BTS then it’s fine. With regards to the duration of each video, I make sure that I stay enjoyable and not to bore the viewers cause the video is taking too long to watch.

What beauty accessories are a must have in your collection?

For me, I will go with bag and shoes! I make sure that my bag will suit the style, but for overall I do not mind as long as it has the same color, style or neutral to both.

On a scale of 1-10, how much of a party animal are you?

5, I don’t usually go to parties unless it’s a family gathering, or it is school related.

Would you rather have the ability to fly or talk to animals?

I would rather talk to animals. I am very passionate about them, and they are so intelligent if we will only provide them the chance to! Even if they do not use intelligence, their instincts will let you know how they feel and their emotions, so I would choose the ability to talk to animals. It will be very helpful as in times that they are feeling unwell, I would be there to speak up and help.

Do you believe in any superstition?

As a Filipino, we all know that we have tons of superstition beliefs! And it wouldn’t hurt if we follow or believe in them – especially if it became part of our culture and we respect those beliefs when it came from elders, so yes, I do believe in them.

What turns you off on a date?

Definitely it’s a NO for me when someone is being too disrespectful and insensitive, bullies the weak and has no respect for elders. Also a NO for me with those guys that are too conceited and arrogant.

Thank you for taking the time to answer our questions Zerah. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”?

Being sexy is being confident, it does not define your physique and curves in your body. Everyone is sexy no matter size, the shape nor the color as long as you have that confidence, you are considered sexy, inside and out!
