I was born in Penang and was raised in Bukit Mertajam, the mainland. I’m a Certified Physiotherapist, I help people affected by injury, illness or disability through movement, exercise, manual therapy, education and advice.

What was the experience participating in the Miss Universe Malaysia like?

From a plain Jane into this. Indeed beyond my expectations. It took me a lot of courage to join this and to step out of my comfort zone. It was such a great transformation experience for me. I spent four months with 13 beautiful girls and amazing team members. It was a great experience and journey together with them. I am proud and thankful that I managed to come this far as the finalist of Miss Universe Malaysia 2016.

Can you share your beauty regime to looking so gorgeous?

A good skin care routine is always a must to have good skin complexion. Nevertheless, no beauty is greater than the smile of peace and happiness glowing on your face!

What are your favourite types of food?

Definitely Japanese food!

How will you describe your fashion style?

Anything that is comfortable and practical.

Which is the biggest compliment you have received?

Hearing from my patient how they have improved and healed under my care.

Lamest pickup line or attempt a guy has used on you?

Did you just fart? Cause you’re blowing me away.

If you had a choice of superpower, which will it be and why?

It would be healing powers so that everyone can be healed from sickness and people would not suffer from pain.

Hello everyone! My name is Kelly Chua, I’m a 19 year old business student who is active in the fashion world. I’m also a Model, Cosplayer and a YouTuber based in Kuala Lumpur the heart of Malaysia 😉 Oh by the way, I’m a mix blood of Thailand and Malaysia as well.

How did you get started into modeling and what do you enjoy about it?

I started modeling when I was in the middle of my Cosplay journey and back then I was 16 years old. Cosplay and modeling are both different because Cosplaying is about what you enjoy and modeling is about what other people enjoy. Modeling makes me challenge myself in many ways and many styles that I myself never even imagine about it.

You do cosplay as well, which characters have you had most fun cosplaying?

The character I enjoy cosplaying the most is Kaga from Kancolle Collection. I had a lot fun and faced new challenges while I had the photoshoot for this character.

What is the hardest thing you ever had to do?

Get to class on time….

Where do you usually shop from?

I usually shop from online shops on Instagram because I feel that these shops, they have many unique styles and designs but they’re still less known by the general public so they need more support from us.

Which is your favorite drink?

Mojito

If you could do or learn anything in this world, what will it be?

Languages from different countries!

Gorgeous Beach Babe Haley Kennedy

Hi Haley, thank you for taking the time to answer our questions on SimplySxy. Please share with our readers a little about yourself and where you’re from?

Well, I’ve lived in the Bahamas pretty much my whole life but, I went to boarding schools for all of high school. So that put me farther away from the coast for a lot of the year but I spend all the time there I can. I’ve loved the beach ever since I was a kid and I think growing up here made it really easy to fall even more in love with the ocean. I love my pets Java and Buttercup and I spend as much time with them as I possibly can. So really I’m just a beach bum who’s lucky enough to live in the Bahamas.

What do you enjoy doing during your free time?

I’ve always loved going to the beach. I go almost every day, sometimes the rain won’t even stop me. I like to take Java on beach walks, he loves the beach almost more than I do. If I’m not there you could find me at my gym or with my cat. I try to plan my days so that I’m always doing something. Staying inside too long isn’t my scene.

Do you have any hobbies?

Yes!! I absolutely love scuba diving. My parents really wanted me to be able to dive as a kid so I got my SDI license when I was 10 from a small shop on the island. I’ve been in love since then. It’s expensive so I can’t do it every day but, if I could I totally would! I also play some tennis. I played it all throughout high school and I became pretty fond of it. I love playing but especially with doubles partners. I think that’s the best way to play.

Describe a typical day for you?

Well I’ll usually wake up at 8:30. I can’t stand sleeping in; I always feel as if I’m wasting the day. I typically just drink juice for breakfast like grapefruit juice or maybe a tomato, kale, and celery juice. It sounds horrible but I promise it’s great. Then I’ll go workout and get ready for the rest of the day. I usually go to lunch with my friends or my mom out at banana bay. Then after that I may walk Java or go paddle boarding with him. He loves that. Then after that I’ll come home and relax and have dinner.

Which is one of the craziest things you have ever done?

Easily a Middle Eastern backpack I did. Me and a group of 10 people hiked for a week through the Jordanian desert to Petra. We hiked about 89 miles over that week. I think not only was that the hardest week of my life but it was so rewarding. The nights were cold but the days made me Melt. At the end of every day I’d just pass out in my tent. At the end of the whole hike I felt so happy. I can’t tell if it was because of the hike or the shower I got to take afterwards.

If you could learn a random skill, what would you learn?

I think it would have to be windsurfing. I remember seeing the PWA windsurfing tour on TV when I was younger and since then I’ve always wanted to learn. It seems so fun but it’s hard in the Bahamas cause the water is very calm the wind doesn’t pick up very much. Maybe one day.

What’s the sexiest item in your wardrobe?

I think my favorite AND sexiest swim suit would be my To Die For swimsuit. They’re a small pink bottom with a white top. I love it so much but I try not to wear it too often. Only for special occasions.

Worst pickup line or attempt a guy has tried to know you?

This one time I was at my favorite bar and a guy came up to me with no introduction and said, “Do you work for Subway because you give me a foot long.” Needless to say it made me laugh but it wasn’t very successful. Scratch that one off the list boys.

Hmm. I think a lot of people tend to hear sexy and think that it’s all about the way you look. I definitely agree that looks are a huge part but I think it’s more of a personality trait. Everyone has different opinions on what type of body, eyes, hair, or skin color would be sexy but everyone will always find a confident personality sexy. I mainly think that a sexy personality includes charisma, confidence, sex appeal, and definitely some humor. With all of that, someone becomes much sexier than a good body and nice face.

Beautiful Import Model Jessica Yang

Hi Jessica, thank you for taking the time to answer our questions on SimplySxy. Please share with our readers a little about yourself and where you’re from?

Hi SimplySxy and fans.. it’s an honor to be interviewed! I’m currently new to the import/modeling scene. I started modeling probably a year ago? I’m not too sure to be honest. Time flies by when you’re having fun!

I’m from Guangzhou, China and I moved to California with my family when I was 4 years old. A lot of people won’t believe what I’m about to tell you but I’m only 19 haha. I just turned 19 in March actually.

How did you get started into modeling?

I never thought I’d pursue modeling nor did I think modeling was going to become a hobby but I guess you could say it all started from Tumblr (popular blogging site). I started posting/“reblogging” some NSFW posts and people started to like them and some photographers reached out to me!

Then I moved from Tumblr to Instagram. Ever since then I’ve had the opportunity to do some great shoots with amazing photographers. Since I’m new to the import/modeling scene, I’m now looking for events/shows/companies where I can gain new experience and more exposure.

Can you share your beauty regime to looking so gorgeous?

To be honest.. I don’t have a beauty regime. I use facial scrubs/cleansers along with toners and moisturizers here and there but other than that, I suggest drinking lots of water for that healthy skin, don’t worry too much about the little things, and have fun. But not too much fun because then you won’t know where you went wrong haha.

What is your favorite thing to spend money on?

Food!! I actually don’t like shopping for clothes much. It’s too much work and I don’t have enough patience for it.

What is the first thing you notice about people?

Their smile but also the first thing I notice about people.. would be their attitude towards others. That definitely stands out to me because that shows whether they’re actually a good person with good intentions or not. I don’t know if that was the answer you guys were looking for haha.

Which is the biggest compliment you have received?

I can’t choose whether the biggest compliment is, “You have really good taste in music,” or “Your eyebrows look really good.”

Can’t seem to remember. I actually find lame pick-up lines kind of funny.. is that weird?

If you had a choice of superpower, which will it be and why?

The superpower to talk in any language…including the ability to talk to animals!

Being who you are because nothing is sexier than being yourself. I used to always worry if I looked “good enough” for someone else. You just need to look good for you. I’m a club singer, currently studying at Kaplan Wilkie Edge (banking finance courses). I love music, singing and dancing. I’m very obsessed with horoscopes because I’m a Taurus . I’m mixed blood, half Thai and half Singaporean.

How did you get into modeling and what do you enjoy about it?

I started modeling when I was around 16 years old doing freelance photoshoots. It’s always my dream to have nice photoshoot pictures and stuff but I didn’t expect that I would be doing modeling all the way until now. It’s becoming part of my life and my interest. How I started modeling came from Facebook, some photographers approached me so I went shooting with them for my portfolio. After that, all the events, private shoots, and organizing shoots came in . I enjoy being shot by a lot of photographers because it helps me boost my confidence.

What do you enjoy doing during your free time?

Everytime when I’m free, I will go to a KTV pub to sing with my friends or go to a bar to chill.

Where do you usually shop from?

I normally don’t shop because my YouTube channel and my Instagram have gotten myself a lot of sponsorship for apparels, make up, accessories and etc.

Which is one of the craziest things you have ever done?

The craziest thing I have ever done is taken implied shots in abandon houses which has a lot of insects and it’s so dirty 🙁

If you could be a superhero, what will be your super power?

If I’m a superhero, I want to be scarlet witch . My power is to use my mind control for every single thing and have the strong ability to damage everything .

What’s the sexiest item in your wardrobe?

Sexist item in my wardrobe is my g strings 🙂

Worst pick up line from a guy was “I want to ask you for shoots, can you give me your number?” Ended up texting me everything that’s not related to work or shoots.

Thanks so much for having me! Well my name is Jodie Eizabeth Tarasek and I am a model based in Sydney Australia. I study psychology, but hope to take my modelling career further around South East Asia.

How did you get into modeling?

Around 4 years ago I started doing random shoots for friends as favours. At the time I didn’t take it too seriously until I started to see a demand from people around me to do more. And it was only about a year ago I decided to take it more seriously. So I guess a year ago was when my modelling career really began to pick up!

What do you enjoy doing during your downtime?

There’s nothing more that I love than getting into a pair of pyjamas and watching a tv series! When I am not doing that, I love to go to the gym, to the beach or rug up and read a good book.

Describe a typical day for you?

I think I don’t really have a typical day to be honest! Everyday is a new adventure for me. But if I had to describe my typical day it would be waking up, jumping into my gym gear, heading to the gym, then come home and eat, and go to work or university! And if I haven’t got either work or university on, then I’m generally modelling on all my days off.

Which is one of the scariest things you have ever done?

I’d have to say jumping out of a plane, skydiving!

If you could learn a random skill, what would you learn?

How to use my left hand as equally skilled as my right.

What’s the sexiest item in your wardrobe?

I’d have to say my matching Calvin Klein set.

My mom tried to get me into modeling when I was very young but since I am a major tom boy, I refused. At the age of 15, I was given the opportunity to give modeling a try in the high fashion industry! I’m glad my mom encouraged me to take the big step because it opened me up and gave me a lot of confidence that I needed.

What is a typical day for yourself like?

You would usually either find me at the gym or working! When I have free time, I like to go out for long walks and hikes to enjoy the weather wherever it might be.

Are you more of a morning person or night owl?

I am a very difficult person to wake up in the morning. I am for sure a night owl! I’ve stayed up countless nights gaming. No regrets ! (:

Hi SimplySxy, it’s definitely my honor to be featured here, thanks.

I’m Darling Sabrina, a Professional DJ since 2009, a Music Producer, a Drummer, also a Dreamer of course.

How did you get into DJing?

To be honest, I had never thought of becoming a DJ, I just simply love MUSIC, since I was 5. Mom told me that I used to run around the house singing and dancing, especially when there were some guests visiting us, I wasn’t shy at all. I have always wanted to become a singer and a song writer, I picked up several instruments at school and I can still play them pretty well. Well, for some personal reasons, I didn’t make it to continue my studies to be a song writer, neither a singer. I started working in a law firm after I came back from Singapore, I was very young and I did not know where to go, I was kinda lost.

One day, I was randomly drinking with a friend at the bar, he told me that he was a freelance DJ and he showed me how fun it was to become a DJ. I tried to find out more about DJing, turned out it’s really fun! Initially, I started playing for fun, and I eventually made it as my full-time job SOMEHOW. In 2010, I decided to leave my hometown – Ipoh to the big city – Kuala Lumpur for a proper DJ course and for a bigger chance to expand my career as a DJ. I started all over again by learning with turntables at Royale DJ Academy.

Do you feel that the crowd is able to appreciate the difficulties of DJing if they don’t know what is happening behind the decks, or are they just there to enjoy the music?

Well, it depends. Some think that we DJs are just pressing buttons and it seems like a super easy job for them, haha. Some will appreciate everything I do behind the decks, they will love every track I play or they are just very educated in music.

What is one track that never gets old for you no matter how many times you hear it?

Oh, there are a lot. Hmmmmm, if I have to pick one, it will be – Solarstone & Clare Stagg – Jewel (Solarstone Pure Mix). I even cry sometimes when I listen to it, it’s so beautiful.

How do you see the balance between giving the crowd what they want and treating them to something new?

I will ALWAYS give the crowd what they want, but never forget to play what I love and what I want to show them too. For example, if I am going to play 60 tracks for a show, I will probably play 30 tracks of what everyone may like and another 30 tracks that most of them might not know or might not have heard before. It’s kinda like a music education, of course I will also have to play by ear, it has to be flexible and go along with their reaction. Besides, Interaction plays a crucial role too. My job is to make sure everyone is happy at the end of the night and it’s fair enough!

Does being a DJ make it easier to model as you are already used to the spotlight?

Nothing is easier or harder. I take pride in whatever I do, I do whatever I love, and I love making my passion my profession, my career. I am a typical Sagi, it’s always like this, either I do my best or I won’t even start. I believe if I was not a DJ today, I’ll still steal the spotlight with whatever I do.

What is the longest you have gone without any sleep?

You mean the longest trip or performance? If it’s performance, my record is to spin a 6-hour set NONSTOP. If it’s referred to a trip, I think the most insane one is my first DJ Tour to China. My Emcee and I travelled 5 different cities in 5 days, 3 epic shows and we only had 8 hours (or maybe lesser) of sleep in total of 5 days! But it ended very well and we definitely put on our best show.

Describe the perfect party to you.

I would love to organize my own PRIVATE rave, probably something like A State of Trance? From sunrise to sunset, playing the music genre that I love the most – Trance, for all the people I love, including my family and friends. It might be on my wedding day, so wait for it!

Sexy is an ATTITUDE, it’s all about how you present yourself. For example, I can be sexy with my pyjamas on, even the way I flip my hair can be sexy too, I don’t have to wear a bikini or undress myself for anyone to define how sexy I am. Sexy is also when a person is being SMART, INDEPENDENT, ADVENTUROUS,

SELF-ASSURED, SOPHISTICATED, and with a sense of HUMOR.

What Is The First Thing Model Jesyka Hiu Notices In A Person?

A Sino-Kadazan comes from the land below the wind, Sabah. I’m currently residing in Damansara due to my study and work. Being the eldest in my family, I have a very strong and distinct characteristic – caring, bold, decisive, and independent. I’m an outdoor person (unable to stay still at one place for long hahaha) – hiking, snorkeling, basketball, dodgeball, netball, obstacle race, Mixed Martial Arts and so much more! Of course, I do read to acquire inner peace and recharge myself before going for another challenge.

What is the story behind you joining the Miss Malaysia Petite Universal and how was the experience like?

It was an unexpected journey. I was introduced to Miss Malaysia Petite Universal during a hair show back in March. The concept of this pageant is unique, which to break the stereotyping of the industry and perception of beauty that “Tall is beauty”. This pageant also focuses more on intelligence, education, and personality instead of pure beauty. This gives us petite ladies a huge opportunity and platform to show our ability in many aspects including strutting down the runway just like a model.

We had intense catwalk training in 6-inches high heels sponsored by our talented Malaysian designer Fion Poon. Not to mention we need to adapt to different catwalk styles for three different sets of clothing including casual wear by Zalora, high fashion by La Mode Exclusive Fashion Collection by Alex Lim and evening gown by Love Gowns Premino. Needless to say, we learnt and transformed, through various photoshoots, videoshoots, grooming, image consultation and public speaking classes. It is indeed a memorable one!

I learn how to appreciate myself more and be grateful for what I have now. Joining pageant is not only a pleasure but also a responsibility and desire in making me to be a better man. Can you share your beauty regime to looking so gorgeous?

Uhm…I don’t really have any specific beauty regime. I’m quite a lazy person. *laugh* So I will settle everything a night before to prevent chaos in the morning. My usual routine will be anti-sensitive ampoule/toner, serum, moisturizer, overnight mask/paper mask/gel mask, body lotion and hair serum (depending on my skin condition). If I ever have pimple attack, my best remedy will be honey and tea tree oil. I will apply it on my pimple and let it rest for ten mins. Of course, eat right and regular exercise help in keeping my body healthy too.

What is your favorite thing to spend money on?

Definitely foods! Good foods especially Asian cuisine.

If you had a choice of superpower, which will it be and why?

I think I will choose superhuman speed. I don’t need a car anymore and I can skip the jam for good! Most importantly, I won’t be late at any occasion. HAHAHAHAAA! I can go anywhere I want at ease.

It’s a pleasure to feature you Jesyka. One question before we end, how do you define “sexy”?

Pleasure is mine. Sexy for me is confident + positive + intelligent + attitude. It’s not much about how you dress or look like. Sexy is the way you carry yourself – how you talk, how you think, how you walk, and knowing your own weaknesses and still loving yourself as much! For me, that’s sexy! ♥
