I’m so honoured for the opportunity to be interviewed! Born and raised in Hong Kong, I moved to Vancouver, Canada when I was 8 years old. Aside from modeling part time, I am a university student currently studying French and psychology, and I work as a behaviour interventionist with autistic children.
How did you get started into modeling and what do you enjoy about it?
After walking in my first fashion show, I met some people in the industry and had the chance to start a portfolio. I never truly experienced the power of social media, but after I was scouted by a modeling agency in LA, modeling became more serious for me. Modeling is my creative outlet – it constantly challenges me to create something new.
You do cosplay as well, which characters have you had most fun cosplaying?
Since I’m not dressing up as a specific character, I wouldn’t call it cosplaying – but I do strive to create different personalities by playing with styling and facial expressions.
What is the hardest thing you ever had to do?
The hardest I had to do, and still do, is striking a balance between work and play. I want to accomplish so many things that I often forget to give myself a break.
Where do you usually shop from?
The majority of my clothes are from Zara. As well, I love scoping out local boutiques that carry unique pieces.
Which is your favorite drink?
Coffee, always.
If you could do or learn anything in this world, what will it be?
I’d love to learn as many languages as I can! Aside from English, I also speak French, Cantonese, Mandarin, and American Sign Language – and always wanting to add to the list!
What is the lamest pickup line or attempt a guy has tried on you?
“Hey I just want to let you know, I think you’re really, really hot…” Unfortunately, it was during a photoshoot and the photographer waved him off before he finished, so I never found out how he ended it.

Hi everyone! I’m Annabelle Sue. My life revolves around my passion for fashion, love for animals, and burning desire to travel and explore. How will you describe your fashion style?
To be honest, I haven’t figured out how to concise my fashion style into a sentence. I enjoy experimenting with different looks, and find that the most fascinating thing about fashion lies in its ability to let you be anything you want. Some days I’m modish, and some days boho-chic, some days a sports-lover, some days hella sexy, or some days dramatic. It’s a Barbie world.
Can you share your beauty regime to looking so gorgeous?
I force myself to cleanse, tone, and moisturise my face twice a day no matter the circumstances because I’m not ready for wrinkles. As for my hair… I don’t own a comb.
What is your favorite thing to spend money on?
CLOTHES, in a heartbeat.
What is the first thing you notice about people?
Their confidence, because it affects everything – from the way they dress to the things they say.
Which is the biggest compliment you have received?
That I have a big heart, because I strive to.

In my teens, a French boy dropped me back from a first date insisting it was in the French culture to kiss on the lips when saying goodbye. That was lame, and needless to say, the last date.
Do you have any motto(s) which you live by?
Not a motto, but I live by Invictus, a poem by William Ernest Henley. To summarise it in a sentence –
“I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul.”

Thank you for the feature! I’m Yoki and I’m 22 years old. I was born in Hong Kong. I’m an university undergraduate student and studying Bachelor of Business Administration (Major in management). Also, I have been modelling for 7 years, and I was a TV host at Now TV.
What hobbies do you have?
I’m an outgoing girl, I like to do sports, such as basketball, belly dance, wakeboard and jetski. Besides, I love dogs and I spent a lot of time with my dog.
How will you describe your fashion style?
My fashion style is simple, classic and elegant. I like to wear one-piece dresses, it is really convenient and I can mix and match easily into different styles. In summer, I love to wear colorful dresses, and it makes me look cheerful.
What is your secret to looking so beautiful?
My secret to looking beautiful is to sleep early every night and exercise frequently. Besides, I drink a lot of water and I drink water only, and I seldom eat unhealthy food. Keep smiling is another secret of beauty too!
Are you a morning person or night owl?
I’m a morning person, I like a healthy lifestyle, I sleep before 11pm everynight and get up early every day. I enjoy the morning time with the morning sun, I love listening to the birds sing. I can have a clear mind too when I wake up early.
If you could learn anything in the world, what will it be?
As my dream is to travel around the world, to broaden my knowledge horizon and learn different cultures, and I want to be a volunteer to help and visit people in need in different countries. Therefore, I want to learn different languages, so that I can communicate with others without barriers.
What do you find most attractive about the opposite sex?
I think smart guys with a mature mindset are the most attractive — A man who can teach me new things in my daily life.
How will you describe an ideal first date?
A well-planned date is important. For the first date, I hope it would be romantic; candle light dinner with a live band would be great! Lol

Hi Kera, thank you for taking the time to answer our questions on SimplySxy. Please share with our readers a little about yourself and where you’re from?
I was born in Oceanside California and raised in Lincoln Nebraska. Since graduating high school at 18 I have lived in Mississippi, California, Utah, Nevada, Texas, Florida, and now back here in Los Angeles. I did door to door sales for two years and waitressed until I started local modeling in Austin Texas. From there I moved to Pompano Beach Florida and fell upon the opportunity to do some adult acting work and fell in love with acting.
I then picked up a mainstream agent and started my career in mainstream acting. So far I have filmed on Baywatch, Ballers, MMA Bellator, Investigation Discovery, and did voiceover work for “The Red Road”. After settling in Los Angeles I met a casting agent/documentary writer, David Cole who decided my life will be a great topic for a documentary for Netflix that will hopefully be out later this year. My career is definitely just beginning, I can’t wait to see what happens next!
What is your beauty secret to looking so gorgeous?
My native American genes don’t hurt, but I am a natural freak. I drink about a gallon of water a day, eat mostly vegetarian, I wash my face with grapeseed oil and water, and I only wear makeup for shoots/work.
Which is the craziest thing you have ever done and not regret?
The craziest thing I’ve ever done.. Well I slept 4o feet in the air in a hammock in a tree every night for 3 weeks with my dog in Nebraska, packed up into my Jeep every morning, and waitressed every night, in between housing while waiting for my door to door sales gig to start in Las Vegas. One of my most amazing experiences.
What type of music do you listen to?
Country and Classic Rock.
Do you believe in any superstition?
I believe in energy. I talk to the universe daily and I believe in the law of attraction and the power of the mind.
If you could be a superhero, what will be your super power?
If I could be a superhero, I would want to control the weather.

I love eyes and confidence.

The worst pickup line I’ve ever had used on me was “Hey, your eyes are the same color as my porsche”.

How did your interest in beauty and career in makeup begin?
As a young girl, I have always been interested in fashion and colors. As I grew older, I realised that make-up is my strength and it is the greatest accomplishment when my bride is looking stunning and make everyone goes “wow” on her big day!
Which makeup products do you recommend that every lady owns?
I believe setting a good base and foundation is the basic and most important part of your make-up. No matter if you prefer a matte or dewy look, choosing the right foundation for yourself is essential. I recommend Giorgio Armani.
Do you have any hobbies?
My hobby is to learn and study the new trends in make-up and beauty. The internet is my best friend nowadays, I enjoy watching make-up and hair tutorial videos and try to add my personal twist to it to my clients.
How much of a foodie are you and what are your favourites?
I enjoy digging new and authentic local cuisine. There are so many delicious local delicacies in HK and whenever I have a day off I will go on a little food adventure with my friends to try out all of them!
If you could have a super power, what will it be?
I wish I had a magic make-up brush, and every beautiful bride that I do make-up with will be happily ever after.

I think a guy with good manners is very attractive. A guy who knows how to respect women and everyone around.

Hi, I’m Alvynna, people call me alvy/missalvy. I’m 21 this year and I’m from Miri, Sarawak but currently based in KL.
How did your interest in blogging come about and what type of videos do you do?
It started out as a diary, merely for me to share my life story and experience about everything I love from travel, beauty and lifestyle, and I never expect that people will read my blog! I usually do beauty and travel videos, sharing tips and tricks on how to look good and also bringing my viewers on travel adventures.
How much time goes into the process of creating a video?
It usually take at least 2-3 days, if I don’t procrastinate. One day to shoot a video, at least two days to edit it.
What kind of fashion are you into?
I don’t have a fixed style, I usually just wear whatever that makes me feel comfortable and confident! But, I’m really into summer fashion, especially anything with off shoulder, something about showing off your shoulder makes you look sexy without being too trashy.
Is there something we will never catch you wearing?
I’ve always been experimental with what I wear, I guess I’ll wear anything! So, nope.
Do you believe in any superstition?
Do not pick up money that is found on the streets, I’ve always believe that it will bring bad luck, or it could be belong to some evil force/ghost (ya, I know it’s silly.)

I don’t really do anything too crazy, but I guess the craziest thing I ever did was booking a flight to somewhere far without telling my parents, and solo travel. That’s the best decision I’ve made in life so far.

It’s so common and it’s so lame, “Did it hurt? When you fell from heaven?” I would answer them, “Lucifer fell from heaven too” jokingly.

I’m Suki Yap. Artiste from Malaysia (Singer, Actress & Talent Host), I’m from Seri Kembangan which is located at Selangor state. For me, it is very simple, never give up and go for your life. Persistence makes SUCCESS.
How will you describe your fashion style?
I would describe it as unique. I can try a variety of styles, it all depends on my mood of the day and also the event I attend. Fashion for me is the way we present ourselves in our own way.

Everyone is beautiful, the best part to make us special are our thoughts, and thoughts define a person and is important for a girl/woman. Beauty without a smart brain, that’s just virtual; outer beauty can’t last forever.

Alright, I love shopping and nice food. I would spend money on nice food and on fashion stuff like clothes, accessories but I don’t chase branded things. I buy things because of what I need but not what I chase for the trend.

The demeanor of a person. I would like to observe their content when they talk to me, this will define a person.
Name one instance of a fashion disaster which you laid your eyes on.
For me, there is no fashion disaster. Fashion is quite a virtual thing, just like taste for food, someone likes it but somebody hates it. If you do not like the fashion trend of that season, then just do not follow it but DON’T criticize people. This will make you happier and blessed.
Lamest pickup line or attempt a guy has used on you?
Ok, I’ve got quite a bad experience on it. It is part of my family, even I am not willing to admit that he is my family? I think the lamest guy I met was my brother-in-law, he doesn’t work (no work can last longer, always taking leave for rest), does not want the kids (has 4 kids, divorcing), borrows money all around the place (for an area when there is no people willing to lent the money, he will move to another state and do the same things again.), once pretended to be kidnapped by others and called my house and threatened my mom, etc. That I can’t even finished. Alright, we need to stop here. I do not want to talk about this feller anymore, he is spoiling my mood, I can’t accept a guy like that, no responsibility for family and for himself.

I do not have any superstition, I always believe that if we have a good heart, good thoughts, we are always blessed.

I’m originally from Northern California, but since then I’ve lived in San Diego, New York, Orange County and currently Los Angeles. I’m a huge foodie, culianrian, jet setter and other than modeling I own several businesses.
How did you get started into modeling?
I started modeling when I was 17. Fashion and commercial work doesn’t come easy to someone who’s my height, however, I built up my name and reputation through the Import scene and doing promotional work for various companies.
Which event or photoshoot is most memorable to you so far?
I would have to say my first shoot ever, with my good friend Charlie Couch. I was so nervous but we ended up having a great shoot! He’s one of my all time favorites.
If you could learn any random skill, what will it be?
I want to learn how to do aerial silks! Growing up I’ve always gone to Circue du Soleil shows and it’s just so impressive! I’ve taken a few classes and it’s very physically demanding yet they make it look so effortless and graceful.
Which is the sexiest item in your wardrobe?
No clothes at all? Haha kidding…Possibly my backless halter tops? I think when women show off their shoulders and backs it’s incredibly attractive.
How much of a party animal are you?
Oh gosh! Have you seen my Snapchats? I am out 90% of the time. Especially now that I live in LA. It’s DANGEROUS!

Hi SimplySxy. Thank you for having me. It is a honor to be part of your interview. So a little about me… where do I possibly start? Well first off, I am a college student, model, ring girl, traveler, doodler, and curious dreamer. I attend the University of Minnesota. I want to get into business. Not exactly sure what part of business I am going for exactly yet. But, I am leaning towards marketing for now. As for where I am from, my college may have given away where I am based. I am born and raised in Minnesota. You could say I am the overall Midwest girl who will always be grounded to her family here but loves traveling out of states to experience new things and meet new people.
How did you get started into modeling and what do you enjoy about it?
So as a kid growing up, I had really low self esteem and confidence in myself. I thought of myself as awkward and nerdy. But, I have an uncle who is a photographer, I did a couple fun test shoots with him because we were bored but I found myself very free in front of the camera and I loved that feeling. A family friend of mine urged me to go to an agency and surprisingly I got in.
From there I started networking around, but Minnesota’s market for modeling is not that big. So I didn’t think much of it until I accidentally won the title of Miss Hot Import Nights (HIN) Minneapolis 2015. Winning that title, kicked off my modeling career like no other. The thing I most enjoy from modeling might have to be meeting new people and creating amazingly beautiful pictures. I always have a blast when I am at a photoshoot and working with a team. But what I really appreciate from modeling is how it brought my confidence out and my self-esteem up.
Which is your most memorable shoot or event so far?
I kind of answered this earlier, but the most memorable event has got to be winning the title of Miss HIN Minneapolis 2015. The reason for it was because it was so unexpected. I originally went to the event as a spectator only because I had a friend, whose car was in the show. But when I got there, one of HIN’s staffs asked me to be a part of the Miss HIN Search. I had no idea what that was, but it sounded fun and it could hurt to try. So I ended up getting up on stage and having a blast. I was so surprised when I was announced the winner. The shocked looked on my face must have been priceless.

What is the experience like being a ring girl and do you follow the fights too?
I would have to say ring girl and modeling are very similar. The only difference would have to be instead of always looking into a camera and posing, you are looking at the audience and informing them what round of fight it is with a bubbly smile. As for following the fights, I come from a family full of boys who does and teaches jiu jitsu at a school called M-Theory Martial arts, so whenever there is a big UFC fight I have no choice but to follow up on it. Sort of like being on a family band wagon.
Which is one embarrassing incident that has happened to you?
Oh I have so many embarrassing moments. I am so awkward, clumsy, and should probably have caution tape wrapped around me. With all that, I sometimes wonder how I am I am still here in one piece. But one of my most memorable would have to be the time when I was hanging out with my cousin and we were petting an adorable puppy in front of a restaurant. My cousin was talking to the owner of the dog while I was petting it but for some reason I did not realise my mouth was opened and I accidentally drooled and almost hit the dog. My cousin thought it was the dog drooling and commented, “aww look at him drool!” then realized it was me who was drooling and the owner and him was looking at me all crazy. To this day, my cousin has not let it go and will forever bring it up.

What about the opposite sex attracts you?
There are a few key things that makes me really attracted to a guy. The first is confidence. A man who knows what he likes, wants, and needs is a man worth having. The second is a gentlemen who knows how to treat his lady. I grew up with extremely traditional parents so I do believe in chivalry. But all those things I listed are more on the serious note, if a guy can make me laugh and giggle, I know we’ll get along just fine.

The sexiest item in your wardrobe?
I would have to say the sexiest item I own might have to be my black silk robe from Victoria’s Secret. People are probably surprised that I did not say lingerie or something along that line. But I think my black silk robe is super sexy for multiple reasons. 1: who doesn’t like the color black? 2: who doesn’t like the feeling and looks of silk. 3: it covers only a little past my booty, so it gives room for some imagination. 4: imaginations can lead to fantasies and who doesn’t like a teasing fantasy?
Worst pickup line or attempt a guy has tried to know you?
I don’t know about other girls, but I find it extremely creepy when strangers I have never met, off the bat call me pet names such as babe, hun, or sweetie in a flirtatious manner. I get creeped out and just want to say, “Bro, you don’t know me like that.” I also have had guys who attended my high school and never even talked to me approach me or message me on social media, telling me, “oh, I should have talked to you back then cause you’re so hot now.” I am not sure if that was a compliment or a diss about my past.

Hi, I’m Andrea Lee from Kuala Selangor, and grew up in the hectic city of Kuala Lumpur. I’m also a Straits-Born Chinese (Nyonya). I’m an artist at the same time, also an actress and commercial model. I’m interested in Occult studies and any mystery that happens in this universe so I would say I’m someone who has many curiosities.
What do you enjoy about being in showbiz and how did you get started?
I won the champion for iFeel Girl Search in 2010 and began modelling. In 2011, was 2nd Runner-up at Miss Scuba International 2011. I’m officially into the industry with more involvement for advertisement, movies and dramas which is also a great turning point in my life that I have never thought about.
Which accomplishment are you most proud of?
In 2012 I was chosen as the key actress for the movie “In The Dark” directed by Director Yeo Joon Han. This movie was also showcased in the Taipei Golden Horse Film Festival in 2013. At the same time I’m also proud that I have the opportunity to work with Director Woo Ming Jin and Director Edmund Yeo. What type of music do you listen to?
I have no specific preference, as for my type of music, it depends on what mood I am feeling during that moment of time. However, I like to listen to music that plays from a vinyl player as it makes me feels so comfortable during that moment. Besides that, I like Christmas songs too as it just makes me feel the happiness while listening. I guess my moods play my music.
Do you believe in any superstition?
Yes, I do. Actually there are a lot of things that happen around us which can’t be explain easily with scientific terms or being agreed with. But superstition is just like every culture or race. Believing in their superstition gives them enlightenment. I do have an interest in horoscope studies too. I also studied in Taipei as an Animal Communicator as I believe that there are many unspoken thoughts in the animal world. So do you think I’m someone who is superstitious?
If you could be a superhero, what will be your super power?
Superhero? Hmm….. I don’t think I have any in mind but if I’m given a super power definitely there is one. I wish I could read everyone’s mind so I can save my time thinking what is right or wrong hahaha..
Where is a dream holiday destination of yours that you have not been to?
OMG!!! There are too many dream holidays. Bahamas? Blue Lagoon? Maldives? I loves taking pictures a lot and trying different cuisine so how can I name a destination… But I love the beach lot as I don’t really like shopping. So if I really want to choose a destination I would choose a destination that I can relax myself from the hectic life, explore around, and trying out new things.
Worst pickup line or attempt a guy has tried to know you?
There are many but the worst will be “Do you remember me?” (with some weird tone) but I don’t even know them in the first place.
