    I am simple and complicated. Shy and adventurous. Gentle and fierce. Flexible (literally) and stubborn. A skinny girl with a chubby face, pouty lips and perky butt, who loves junk food and eats a lot!

    I have no direction sense, I love pink and army green, chocolates, desserts, soft toys and lilies. Weak when it comes to love. I am a shopaholic, buying things mostly on Taobao at a fraction of what it is selling outside. I love to dress up but I am so lazy…

    How did you get started into modeling?

    I started modeling when I went for a makeover. The photographer loved the results and asked if I would like to take more photos for free. I was ecstatic! Being treated like a princess with my make up and hair done by someone and free photos to keep, why not?!

    My very first shot was with the photographer and he was just testing the lighting.

    What is your proudest achievement so far?

    Winning the first prize SGD 30,000 on channel 5’s Family Talent Time with my family when I was 9 years old. We were like a mini circus, each of us had a different skill, I was a contortionist.

    What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

    Plenty! Sleep, watching movies, TV series, reading, cooking, baking and modeling.

    How much of a foodie are you?

    I am a Singaporean! This place is a melting pot of all the fantastic food from all the different cultures! Of course I am a foodie! Plus I do not put on weight.

    Which was your last movie watched and was it any good?

    I watched Kong Skull Island. It is alright. Not my kind of movie. Typical story line, where you know who will die. I am not sure what is the purpose of having the Chinese Actress Jian Tian on the movie? She barely has any dialogue or action. I guess the saving grace of the movie is the action and great CGI!

    If you could time travel, where will you wish to go to?

    How many times can I travel? If it is just once I would want to travel to the past, probably 911, evacuate the building and save as many people possible. Tell my past self about my future, which are the boys I can avoid. Tell myself to spend more time with my grandfather when he is still around and ask my aunt to check for throat cancer. Perhaps she would be here now.

    What do you find attractive about the opposite sex? 

    Looks, he can be short or tall but he can still be very handsome. He can be slim, fit or chubby, but he can be cute like a teddy.

    Being friendly, confident and smile is sexy to me.

    How will you describe your fashion style?

    Minimalistic, classy and neutral. I get to wear crazy things at work, so my personal wardrobe is pretty basic.

    Is there a preferred side you have to taking selfies?

    My right side is my good side!

    What hobbies do you have?

    I used to be a lot more active; I did sports like volleyball and soccer, and attended a ton of nerdy competitions/tournaments. But now I’m old and I like to be a hermit and paint, sing along to my guitar, or read a good book.

    Which flavor best describes you?

    Chocolate cardboard. Ever had it? No? Exactly.

    Have you been in an embarrassing situation before?

    Oh yes, too many. I trip over everything, but I’m not clumsy – just blind.

    If you dropped everything and went on a road trip, where would you go?

    Can I road trip to Santorini?

    Is there something you totally don’t get about guys?  

    Why can’t more of them be cute? Just kidding. I don’t get why sometimes guys just won’t take no for an answer.

    Thanks for offering me this feature. I’m known as Candy, I’m a Spainish cosplayer, have one twin sister, Reivaille and is a cosplayer too. I am 21 years old. I mostly cosplay girl characters (especially “loli”).

    I have been a person who has suffered many ups and downs in this world but there is nothing that pleases me more than to read a nice comment about what I do.

    Where do you love to shop from?

    Long time ago I discovered the world of online stores and since then I have not left that world .

    What beauty products do you use to look so fantastic?

    Thanks but I have never used any beauty product for my skin or anything and I wouldn’t start using because redness will begin to be noticed haha.

    Why do you love to cosplay?

    Has it never happened to you that you would like to see it differently? To be someone else? Well I do it by doing cosplay, I get to be another for a few minutes or hours. The magic of cosplay and that’s why I love it part of it is fun.

    What kind of movies do you enjoy watching?

    I enjoy a lot with the cartoon movies. I could spend hours watching them.

    If you can travel anywhere in this world, where will you go?

    My list is too extensive to choose only one site but if I have no choice I’d go to Japan. Even though I’ve been, it’s a country I never get tired of.

    Have you experienced a funny or embarrassing moment before?

    Not really.

    What is your idea of an ideal date? 

    I always imagined an ideal date in Disneyland hahaha. Sounds very fanciful but why not?

    Hi Brittany, thank you for taking the time to answer our questions.  Please share with our readers a little about yourself and where you’re from?

    My name is Brittany or (Brittany Chaos). I’m originally from Dayton, OH born and raised. But now live in San Antonio, TX. I stared cosplaying back in 2010. When I went to my first conversation (Dragon Con) in Atlanta, GA. I wore my Lady Deadpool cosplay. The feedback was so overwhelming that I wanted to keep making costumes. In my everyday life, I’m a hair stylist and have been for 10 years now. But in costume I can be anyone!

    What do you love most about cosplay?

    The immediate connection you have with a stranger, when they see you dressed as their favorite character. Another reason is being able to be anybody I want. I know simple right? It’s more than that. The cosplay you become could be a little kids hero. And the way they light up when they see you… it’s the best feeling in the world!

    Is there a misconception you still commonly hear about cosplay?

    Well there are a few. But the one I will talk about is age! That you should be young (below your 30’s) in order to cosplay. Not true at all! I’m 32 and still going strong ! And I can tell you I’m just getting started!

    Which is your most memorable cosplay experience so far?

    This has been the hardest question I’ve had to answer. Since I’ve had so many amazing moments while cosplaying. From meeting celebrities, pro cosplayers, etc. But my most memorable would have to be during memorial weekend this year. I was attending a local convention called Alamo City Comic Con. It was here I first debuted my Hawkgirl. As well as competed in my first costume contest. The most thrilling moment was walking on stage and showing everyone the hard work I put it! I was placed 2nd in the expert level. I was incredibly proud of my self! Because there were some pretty amazing costumes I went up against.

    How long does it typically take for you to prepare for one event?

    Well if we are talking building a costume. That can take me months. After a cosplay is constructed it takes me about a week to prepare for an event.

    Are you more into action movies or horror flicks?

    Horror all the way! I’ve seen so many horror movies! Do not get me wrong I like action. But I will choose horror over action every time!

    If you could go back in time to live in a historical period, which will you choose?

    That’s hard! I would say, the 50’s. I love the clothing during that time frame. The hair, makeup, how people presented themselves.

    What is the funniest or lamest pickup line a guy has tried on you? 

    Oh gosh, Well I have been asked if I wanted a sugar daddy. Which I kindly declined.

    Being confident in your own skin, a sense of humor, and Passion. Confident to know you can do it, humor to laugh at your mistakes, and passion to keep trying!

    It is an honor to have been asked to participate in this interview! A little about me: I am a wife and a mother of two daughters, who are my absolute world. I am from Lubbock, Texas and still currently live there.

    When and how did you get started into modeling?

    I started modeling about seven years ago. I got started in the industry when a well-known fashion photographer, took an interest in me and asked me to do a photoshoot. From then on, I knew I loved modeling and wanted to make it my career.

    Is there a memorable modeling or photoshoot experience you can share with us?

    Definitely! The one in particular that comes to mind is my most recent studio shoot I did with Steve Ellinger. It was four months after I had my youngest daughter, and I had worked extremely hard to get back in shape and dive back into the modeling industry. I felt so alive, I kept saying to myself, “I’M BACK!” Being back in front of the camera after an eleven-month break from modeling was absolutely invigorating. And, I got some of the best shots of my career in that shoot!

    Do you have a strict exercise regime you follow?

    Yes, I do. I have found that the gym is one of my favorite places to be after making it a habit. I make sure to visit the gym at least five days a week and coordinate different muscle groups each day. For instance, Mondays are leg and glutes day. Tuesdays, abs. etc. But I always start with ten minutes of cardio. I make sure to spend 45 minutes to an hour in the gym each time.

    How will you describe a typical day for yourself?

    This one is difficult. My day to day life is not consistent, but if I had to sum it up, I’d say, of course taking care of my daughters is my number one priority, so taking my older daughter to school and picking her up, caring for my younger daughter at home, preparing meals, etc. as well as co-managing my modeling career by marketing, booking shoots, and/or going to photoshoots, and modeling/acting classes to better myself.

    Is there anything in life you can’t get enough of?

    I don’t think I could ever get enough of the ocean. It has always fascinated me, and I try to go to the beach as much as possible, because it is truly my “happy place.”

    If you could have a special or super power, what will it be?

    I would absolutely love the power to teleport. I have always loved to travel, and would love to see more of the world, so teleportation would allow me to do that in very little time. Plus when I’m having a bad day, it would be nice to just be able to escape to the beach for a while ?

    Which is the lamest or funniest attempt a guy has tried to know you?

    One night while out with my friends, a guy came up to one of my girlfriends and asked us if he could buy us a drink. Then his friend came to the bar and asked me for my number. When I declined, he leaned in to kiss me so I ducked and he kissed the top of my head and I spilled the drink his friend bought me on his junk. I felt awkward, so I just said, “Well…BYE!” and left.

    How will you describe your fashion style?

    Honestly, my style ranges from homeless chic to fierce JLo. It really depends on the day and what mood I’m in. I go through phases where all I want to wear are oversized items and then there are days where I never want to take off my dress.

    Do you have any guilty pleasures when it comes to food?

    Mmm that’s a hard one. I’m Colombian so really any type of Colombian food.  I’m also ALWAYS craving French fries and ice cream. Have you tried the two together? It’s life changing.

    Describe a typical day like for yourself.

    A typical day for me is pretty busy! I go to the office every morning, which keeps me busy till about 5 PM. After that, I usually go home, eat and work on my side gig: blogging! I’ll be editing photos and writing until about 10 PM. Then I get up and do it all over again.

    If you could travel to anywhere in the world for a vacation, where will it be?

    Definitely Bali or Marbella in Spain.  I am not meant for this cold weather.

    Which flavor best describes you?

    I’m a sucker for chocolate. It’s my go to.

    Have you ever had a secret admirer?

    I used to have one in middle school. Does that count?

    What turns you off on a date?

    It’s going to sound so weird but I hate when guys have dirty nails. I can’t handle it, it actually creeps me out.

    My fashion style seems to vary from casual to chic.

    Where do you usually love to shop from?

    I love to try out different stores when it comes to shopping. But, I can always rely on Forever21, H&M, and Zara for elegant outfits.

    On a level of 1-10, how much of a party animal are you?

    Lately, during this summer, I’ve been a real big party animal haha (Level 9). However, when school starts I seem to always be in the library hitting the books (Level 3). So, I’ll take the average of the two and say I’m a Level 6 party animal, haha!

    If you could have a superpower, what will it be?

    If I could have any superpower it would be the ability to control time, because time is a very valuable thing. Nowadays people get carried away with their school, career, and chasing money that we forget to pause and take a breather.

    Which is the sexiest item in your wardrobe?

    My favorite casual black dress that goes right above my knees with spaghetti straps. It sways whenever I walk and it fits nicely around my waist, accentuating my figure without rubbing in people’s faces. Plus it’s made from cotton, so it’s super comfy!

    What hobbies do you have?

    I love to go hiking with my dog and I also paint on my spare time.

    When people come to you for help, what do they usually want help with?

    Most of the time they either come to me for school advice or relationship advice. Which is kind of odd to me since I’m the single one, haha.

    The pleasure is all mine.  I come from a small developing city in Kedah, after graduation, I decided to stay in Kuala Lumpur. I majored in Broadcasting and am now doing what I love the most and that is acting. I would say I am a dreamer working on making her dreams a reality.

    How did you get into acting and modeling?

    Modelling was for fun, it started out with a few photoshoots with friends. After a few beauty pageants, it became a source of income as well. Lucky for me, a friend of mine asked me to join an acting competition organized by 8TV 2 years ago. Winning the competition landed me the lead role in one of my dramas, and job offers came after that. I am forever thankful.

    Do you have any guilty pleasures when it comes to food?

    I love cheese, if I can add onto whatever I am eating, trust me, it’ll be there. However, I am trying to cut down on it, so wish me luck.

    Describe a typical day like for yourself.

    I don’t usually have a typical day, because my working schedule can be very unexpected at times. Normally, if I am not working, I would either go to the gym or do some rock climbing/ badminton, and binge watch movies online after. Of course, hanging out with a few of my closest friends would be a must.

    If you could travel to anywhere in the world for a vacation, where will it be?

    I would love to travel to Hawaii, the beautiful beaches is temptation enough. Maybe because I am also a stitch fanatic, everything there seems very interesting to me.

    Which flavor best describes you?

    Mint chocolate. Refreshing and a hint of sweetness.

    Have you ever had a secret admirer?

    I don’t think so, if I knew I had, it wouldn’t be a secret anymore I guess?

    What turns you off on a date?

    Being rude to the waiters and waitresses. I hate it when people think they are more superior than the other person. I especially hate it when they try to use the “whistle” sound to call on the servers.

    Hey! Well first off thank you for having me! I’m a model based out of the Bay Area, and I’m originally from San Jose CA. I spend a lot of my time going out with my family and the couple of friends I have when I’m not shooting.

    What is your fashion style?

    Mmh, it’s hard to say, it really depends on my mood. There’s some days I’ll just wear a hoodie with some Jordans while other days, I want to wear heels and a cute crop top with a full face of make up!

    Do you have a memorable modeling experience you can share with us?

    Every shoot or event is always special to me but I think my first memorable experience would be when I had just started modeling, I came in contact with Luciano Layne who was hosting a mansion power shoot in Arizona. To this day I can remember getting on the plane perfectly and feeling accomplished for starting my path in modeling.

    On a level of 1-10, how much of a party animal are you?

    A 10 on the days I want to go out. LOL I’m the life of the party when I do haha.

    If you could have a superpower, what will it be?

    If I could chose a super power it would probably be able to fly. I love to travel but can’t stand the car rides and traffic.

    Which is the sexiest item in your wardrobe?

    That’s a hard one haha, being a model, I have tons and tons of lingerie, corsets, bustier, garter belts, tight dresses in my closet with most tags still on them. I can have a shopping problem at times LOL.

    Have you done something embarrassing before that seems funny now?

    All the time haha. Once I get comfortable around people, I will do the most embarrassing randomest things when I’m bored.

    Which is the funniest or lamest way a guy has tried to know you? 

    When I was younger, I use to collect Jordans and guys use to always try to start a conversation about shoes with me which I hated! And some of them would have no idea what they were talking about LOL.

    Hi! I’m Kate. I was born in South Korea, grew up in Vancouver, Canada and currently live in Miami, Florida. I’m a freestyle dancer, specialised in Waacking and Hiphop.

    How will you describe your fashion style?

    Very simple. I would personally not choose to wear a bright colour nor pattern. I like simple crop tops and high waisted shorts. I also like tight clothes unless I decide to eat a lot of food that day.

    Do you have any guilty pleasures when it comes to food?

    Definitely warm chocolate chip cookies. I personally like savoury way more than sweet but there’s something about warm chocolate chip cookies that just melts me, not that I always feel bad thinking about how much sugar I just ate.

    Where do you usually like to party?

    I’m not really a party type of person but if I’m going out, I would usually go somewhere where there’s some space for my crew to dance. I’m more into chill days than a party.

    If you could travel to anywhere in the world for a vacation, where will it be?

    As weird as it sounds, it would most likely be Vancouver and Seoul. After I moved to Miami, I realized how much I love my two hometowns. As much as I believe in the fun of trying something new, I love just going back to what I’m used to and reliving those moments of my life.

    Which flavor best describes you?

    Hm, I would have to say pistachio because I’m sweet but not too sweet. Also, I’m different from a lot of people.

    Is there something you don’t get about guys?

    Probably how slow most of the guys are at catching all the signs. I will never understand how the signs someone is giving can’t be so obvious.

    What is the funniest or lamest attempt a guy has tried to know you?

    Lamest one is definitely when people use the line, “I’m so into Asian girls”. To me, it sounds like they are just proving that they like me for being an Asian only instead of who I am as a person. Therefore, I would never take anything serious from people who use that line.
