If I’m not in my usual workout clothes (which I am 95% of the time), I go for the most comfortable options. My closet is made of solid and neutral colored clothing, a simple mix of local conscious staples to heirloom branded pieces.
Drawing inspiration from women with the likes of Olivia Lopez, Kim Jones, Anya Taylor Joy, Aimee Song, and Alexandra Joan Phillips filters so much unnecessary fashion faux pas. And I recently made a Tiktok account and I am a fan of Valeria Lipovetsky, Liv Judd, and Janette Ok.
Which is the best compliment you have received?
I work for a UFC Gym Philippines and the branch I usually go to mostly have college students as members because it’s strategically placed in between two universities.
I constantly get inquiries from teenagers everyday if I work part-time because I look like their age, and they usually get surprised whenever they find out how old I really am haha!
On a scale of 1-10, how much of a foodie are you?
7. I grew up in a family of foodies. My parents came from the opposite sides of the island, making our kitchen overflow with flavors of the local cuisine.
And my brother is an executive chef. With this, I am not a picky eater and I’m down to try food wherever I go.
Is there a city or country you’ve always like to travel to for a holiday?
My best friend lives in a small, quiet province called Masinloc, Zambales here in the Philippines. Her family owns a sizeable hut in the middle of the sea. My friends and I usually go there during summer and Halloween break.
We grill the freshest catch for lunch, sunbathe in the sand bar when it’s low tide, and enjoy the night with wine and cheese at hand.
Would you rather be able to control fire or water?
Water. It’s the most powerful thing.
If you could time travel, what will you like to witness or experience?
I’d like to go back to the time of the Spanish colonial oppression in the Philippines. I have a weird affinity of old Manila stone houses, as if I owned one in my past life. I wanna experience the culture in food, clothing, social classes, and education.
This was also the time where the our national heroes were alive. To get to meet them would be an honor.
Does chivalry still exist today?
Classic chivalry is. Courtesy, on the other hand, is timeless, universal, and knows no gender.
