Hi Noel it is a pleasure to feature you on SimplySxy. Please share with our readers a little about yourself and where you’re from?
I was born in raised in Orlando, Florida. I’ve lived everywhere from Tallahassee to Miami, due to my inability to make up my mind about where I wanted to go to school. Growing up in Orlando isn’t as magical as everyone makes it seem. When people think of Orlando, they immediately think of Disney, assuming everything here is just perfect and fun! However, poverty and violence are everywhere here. Growing up anywhere in Florida is crazy. From fights, to suspensions, to driving without a permit and stealing my mom’s car, shit definitely goes down here.
What is the best compliment you have received?
The best compliment I ever received was when I was told I had a beautiful mind. I work really hard to educate myself. Through my education, I have experienced tremendous growth. I always think about the person I used to be – the girl who didn’t know much and didn’t care about much either. After attending 5 different college/Universities over the past 6 years, I have picked up so much information, as well as experience.
It feels good to know that others (who know me) can also recognize that growth and how it contributes to the better woman I am today. Those things are important to me. My mental growth ultimately contributes more to this planet than my looks, not to mention I work harder for it. I’m constantly trying to learn something new. I’ve been called pretty my entire life, something I already know and understand. Those comments don’t phase me.
Are there any favorite quotes you like to use in life?
Two of my favorite quotes are:
“Love looks not with the eyes but with the mind” – William Shakespeare, A Midsummer Nights’ Dream (I love theatre and poetry)
“Nature never rushes and she manages to create the entire universe” – Unknown (I love nature and science)
“She asked do you love me I tell her only partly. I only love my bed and my momma I’m sorry” – Drake (BECAUSE WHAT ELSE IS TRUER!!!)
Do you have any guilty pleasures when it comes to food?
Oh man. Guilty pleasures? I LOVE donuts!!!!!!! My favorite are the little fried cake donuts. It’s kind of sad because I eat like crazy (when it comes to sweets) and I should really weigh 300 pounds! HAH! Not all of the time but when I indulge, I indulge! Chocolate is my other favorite. I can get weird with cheese too. I put cheese on everything (chips, veggies, sandwiches, soups, etc.).
Can you share a story behind one of your tattoos?
The tattoo on the middle of my chest is a pink rose that I got when a friend of my named Kristen passed away. The stem, near the bottom, is in a K shape. She was my boss at the time. One night we said goodbye to each other after work, and the next day I come into work and they told me she was hit and killed in a car accident. She was 7 months pregnant and the baby died as well. It was a horrible experience. Everyone was crying. No one at work could function so we closed down. As a matter of fact, at her funeral, no one spoke on her behalf. Not even her family or her “friends”.
It’s something I regret every day of my life. She deserved better than that. She deserved to be spoken well of. But I was too scared to get up in front of everyone and speak. The tattoo reminds me to have strength and courage, even in the toughest times, even when you are being challenged to the point where you no longer want to continue…or to do something that forces you to step outside your comfort zone. I do it for myself and I do it for her.
Are you more of a morning person or night owl?
Definitely a night owl. I’ve been bartending and serving since I was 16 so I’m used to the late-night hours. I like to wake up on my own time. As I get older, I find it harder and harder to get up early. And if I do get up early, I can’t function after 10 PM. I require a lot of sleep. I mean, between three internships, being a full-time student at UCF, working 25 hours a week at the restaurant, AND working out, I need a lot of sleep. I only love my bed and my momma, I’m sorry :p
If you could have a super power, what will it be?
If I had a super power, I would choose to change people’s minds. Essentially, I would like to eradicate homophobia, sexism, xenophobia, racism, etc. This would require me to be able to inject research, history, and other valuable information (we aren’t taught in public school) directly into peoples’ minds, making them “smart”.
I believe the reason things are the way they are (in the United States at least) is a direct result of poor education. The United States is the most developed country in the world yet we are ranked lowest among educated, developed countries. This is something my superpower would fix, further eliminating the problems that come with poor education.
Is there something about the opposite sex that you don’t get?
Unfortunately, I know exactly why men are the way they are. We have raised a society of broken boys where men are not allowed to, and therefore cannot, emotionally communicate. As a 25-year-old woman, I constantly deal with men and the first thing they say is “I don’t want a relationship”. From the jump, men immediately cut themselves off from becoming emotionally attached. Which leads to all of the complex “talking” stages my generation is plagued with.
Men are too scared to start anything in fear of the emotions that come with it, and they avoid those emotions at all costs because they don’t even know what they are or how to process them. They have been suppressed for so long that it’s difficult or near impossible for men to fully express themselves without social backlash. When dealing with men, I am very straight forward with them to eliminate that confusion, or I confront their lack of willingness to tap into those emotions. If there is something I don’t get about them, I ask. I make them comfortable enough to be vulnerable with me (in a non-forcing way) so that I don’t get to a point where there is never something “I don’t get”. I don’t play those games.

Sexy is embodying and OWNING every single part of you ALL OF THE TIME! Sexy is embracing the stretch marks on my thighs, those freckles on my tummy, the birth mark on my leg, and the random black hair that grows out of my left nipple. SEXY is loving you all of the time and being unapologetic as fuck about who YOU are.
