Hi! Thank you for featuring me.

I am from Scottsdale, AZ and live in Pacific Beach, CA. In my spare time I like to watch films, take pictures, and practice yoga. I have three sisters, and a miniature dachshund named Daisy. I love going on adventures and spending time with kids! I’m very easy-going and like to socialize, but I’m also pretty introverted and appreciate my alone time.

What is the inspiration behind your website moderngypsydream.com?

The inspiration behind my blog is to have a platform to share all that I do. I am someone who always has multiple jobs and passions, and I wanted to create a site where I could share all of my experiences. In the last couple years I have met some really cool bloggers and it inspired me to create one of my own. On my blog I feature all of my passions: astrology, photography, modeling, yoga, and relationships.

How will you describe a typical day for yourself?

A typical day for me includes taking a barre Pilates class before going to my airbrush tanning job. Usually in the afternoon I will do research for my blog or take a yoga class. I spend most evenings listening to music and stretching or using my foam roller, and watching films on Netflix.

Is there an experience everyone should try at least once in their life?

Yoga. I know that might sound like a bias thing to say, but I believe it to be true. I am not a religious person, but I do consider myself spiritual. For me yoga is more than a physical practice or workout, it helps me work inward on myself similar to how some people feel from attending church.

Which type of food will you never eat?

Haha I am actually a really picky eater, so there is a lot I won’t eat. I have never had most red meat, and I don’t like crunchy veggies in my food like onions or celery.

What motto do you live by?

Everything happens for a reason.

If you could describe yourself as a flavor, what will it be?

I think I would be peachy. I am sweet like fruit but not fake sweet like candy 😉

What’s been your worst date ever?

So far the worst date I’ve had was a blind date, where I picked up a creepy vibe and wanted to leave, but a monsoon (dust / rain storm) hit and I had to wait to drive.

I define sexy as confidence. I think someone can be sexy without being “attractive”. If someone loves themselves and how they look I think that’s what matters.

How Does Model Sasha Spend Her Weekends?

Hi Sasha it is a pleasure to feature you on SimplySxy. Please share with our readers a little about yourself and where you’re from?

Hi I am 25, I have lived just about all over the state of Michigan from up north to downstate… I just can’t leave my home state! But I love to travel!

How did you get started into modeling?

I just have a love for photography and fashion, whether I’m in front of the camera or behind it.

Do you have a funny modeling experience to share?

This past summer I was shooting at Kensington Park, Detroit, MI and this crane kept trying to get in my photos. He eventually let me walk right up next to him and snap a picture!

What is the best compliment you have received?

That I am a good daughter, my mom means the world to me.

Do you have any phobias?

If I could sum it up, my fear would be the unknown. I guess you could say I like to be in control 😉

How do you usually spend your weekends?

I love shopping, playing dress up and believe it or not: eating!

Is there anything you wish would come back into fashion?

Yes!! Chokers, corsets, big natural hair, and 60’s eyelashes!!

What’s sexy to me is seeing someone completely comfortable in their own skin, sexy is the thrill of expression, creating art with what you have to work with, that’s why I love to model.♡

Singapore Model Eileen

Hi Leen thank you for taking the time to answer our questions on SimplySxy. Please share with our readers a little about yourself and where you’re from?

Hey, thank you so much for having me here. My name is Eileen, I’m a freelance model from a small city called Singapore. I do close up facial expression photography and fashion photography.

What kind of fashion and styles are you into?

Well, i don’t have a preference. I wear whatever that makes me look and feel good.

Which is the best compliment you have received?

“I like how you tell stories with your eyes”

What is your favorite childhood memory?

I used to sleepwalk when I was younger and the place I would go to is always the kitchen. It’s kinda funny because everytime I sleepwalk, I would carry something along with me like my blanket or my pillow and leave it in the toilet or the sink or the bin.

Do you have a favourite flower?

Roses!

If you could go back in time, when will you travel to?

I would go back to the era of dinosaurs or experience the daily life of an ancient egyptian, exploring pyramids, discovering the age of magic and mystery.

Which is the weirdest pickup line or attempt a guy has tried to get to know you?

“My friends are always telling me to slow down. Will you marry me? I mean hi!.”

How will you describe an ideal first date?

I’d love to do something fun and exciting like going to the theme park for the crazy roller coaster rides or run around Singapore and do things I’ve never done before.

Interview with published photographer Russell from North Carolina

Get to know photographer Russell, who runs Rsellos Photography, his favorite photography accessories, how the experience is like working with all the beautiful models and his 5 favorite photos taken so far.

Hi Russell, thank you for taking the time to answer our questions on SimplySxy. Please share with us a little about yourself and where you’re from?

Hey! I’m a published photographer based in North Carolina, specializing in model and automotive photography, and also experience in product and real estate photography as well. I travel fairly often, so much of my work is in up and down the east coast and in California.

When did you develop an interest photography and turn it into such a success?

When I started competing with a show car at car events, I would take event photos with a pocket camera and post on forums. I received a lot of positive feedback on those simple pics, so from then, I decided to pursue becoming a photographer… kept on shooting since 2007 and here I am today!

How will you describe your style?

A sort of mix of glamour and lifestyle.

What are your favorite photography accessories?

I like using a portable softbox and pocket flashes. I try keep it simple but effective (and fit everything into a backpack lol).

Can you share with us 5 of your all time favorite photos taken?

Sure, see attached.

How is it like working with all the beautiful models you shoot for?

It is definitely a blessing… fun, though it can be hard work!

Have there been any funny or embarrassing moments during some of your shoots?

I fell off a stage at a club one time while snapping a pic… that hurt! Another time, I did a photoshoot after coming from the bar, late night… could hardly concentrate haha but the images were a hit!

Can you briefly describe to our readers your photographic workflow after a shooting session is completed?

Typically I would a quick review of the images from the photoshoot, and send the images for the clients to select the ones they need edited. Once I receive their list, I’d would proceed to edit and send to the client but the deadline.

Something so attractive, and time seems to stop -you forget where you are, and nothing else matters for that brief moment.

Who is Tessa?

Hello merfolks! I was born in Boston, Ma, but I’m from Puerto Rico and YES I’m Latina (though I don’t look it very much). I’m into body modifications, photography and modeling, anything artsy really. My interests vary in pretty much anything. My likes can go from creepy to really cute, Disney related stuff. I’m a total hopeless romantic and a certified animal lover!

What’s one fun fact about yourself that’s not known to many?

I learned swimming thanks to the Little Mermaid and I still swim like a mermaid and I’m totally obsessed with the color purple.

What turns you on?

I’m really into biology, something about it just draws me in big time! And smiles! <3

You’ve many fabulous tattoos. Is there an interesting story behind one of them?

I’d say the bird on my arm. I’m really into art and I have very talented friends. A friend of mine doodled it in her class and showed it to me. I feel in love and asked her to give it to me so that I can get it tattooed.

Favorite drink?

I actually don’t drink alcohol in general, just eww. But I really love McCafes of Oreos and Fruit Smoothies!

Do you prefer to be in bikini or lingerie?

Lingerie, hands down! I love it so much!

If you had an opportunity to learn anything in this world, what will it be?

How to be more patient. Patience is a quality that I tend to lack.

Which movie character best represents you?

Ariel, from The Little Mermaid! Or for those who have maybe seen Youtubes’ series “The Most Popular Girls in School” I’d most likely be Deandra, hahaha.

Model Joanna Aoran is a stargazer

Who is Joanna Aoran?

Hi there! Thanks for having me! I was born in Jakarta and raised in a few different countries. I used to live in Tokyo for few years and I spent my teenage life in Jakarta, Indonesia. In saying all that, I have been living in Sydney for more than 8 years and I am proud to call Sydney my second home.

I have always been passionate in things that I mostly love. My mother noted my passion for photography since I was 2. Since then, my passion for modelling and photography grew in me. Henceforth, I am who I am today.

People know me as the bubbly, spontaneous and energetic girl. Interestingly, I have been told that I am quite straightforward when it comes to opinion.

Fun facts about me, I have deep passion about the universe as I am constantly amazed by it. If you ask me if I chase the stars, yes I do. I’m proud to be called a stargazer! Moreover, I embedded my heart into music apart from all of these. Singing is a way to my soul!

How did your interest in fashion develop and what led to creating your blog?

As I previously said, I have had interest in modelling and photography since I was a little girl. This passion is deeply rooted in me. Dressing up is almost like a daily dose of happiness for me. I just can’t leave the house without looking dapper and fabulous. Dressing up does not necessarily mean that I need to wear long gowns or maxi dresses all the time. What ‘dressing up’ means to me is when I feel most comfortable with myself.

My hubby is the one who encouraged me to create fashion blog. He is the one person who pushes me to the limit to be better. I am naturally not a risk-taker and I have the tendency not to try new things. Regardless, here I am. I have established my own branding.

What is a typical day like for you?

A typical day for me? That’s such an interesting question! Haha! My typical kind of day would involve a cup of organic coffee, playing with my dog, shower, put on some makeup and dress up like I’m going to see my enemies today. 😉

If you had the chance to meet a style icon, past or present, who will it be?

I would kill to meet Karl Lagerfeld. I mean who doesn’t who he is? He’s the head designer and creative director for CHANEL as well as FENDI! He owns his own label fashion house as well! He has collaborated with heaps of insanely famous people and famous brands. Most importantly, most of his work of art have been featured in international and established magazines! He’s just a legend to me!

What is one thing you splurge on and skimp on?

I would totally splurge on makeup! Call me a makeup junkie or makeup addict! I don’t mind being labelled that way! Speaking of skimping, I would skimp on gadgets accessories. For instance, I wouldn’t pay more than $30 for an iphone case. 😉

Which are some essential items every lady must have?

I personally think that every lady NEEDS to have at least few pairs of Christian Louboutin, a Chanel/Hermès bag, a statement necklace, a little black dress, few pair of nice flats (Salvatore Ferragamo would be my personal choice), skinny jeans, tailored blazer, basic tees (white/black/grey) and a watch.

Describe your personal style and influences or inspiration.

My personal style would always be simplicity. I embrace the notion of simplicity as less is more. I could dress up complexly from time to time however I would stick to simplicity for most days. In saying that, my personal style is ever-changing, versatile and unlimited.

My personal style is mood-driven and my inspirations come from different fashion icons all around the world.

What is the first thing you look at in another person’s outfit?

This is interesting. In answering to that question, I would say the overall look from top to bottom. If you ask me in particular, I would say the handbag. 😉

In my opinion, Sexy does not always necessarily associated with body or looks. Sexy is a woman who has a great mind, knows when to hold tongue and speak up and can stand up for her own beliefs. Speaking of sexiness and from physical point of view, sexy is when a woman can take a good care of herself and feel comfortable being herself at all times.

Babe of the day: Hannah Lee

Who is Hannah Lee?

I am from the tiny red dot Singapore. Currently I am an entrepreneur of my little online store, and from time to time enjoy taking on photo shoot projects and collaborations. (Oh no, I am not a model, just a talent that really loves photography and being the topic in it.) I think it has been an amazing and honourable journey to be able to work with different MUAs/wardrobe designers, photographers and hairstylists from various countries.

What’s one fun fact about yourself?

I am an Extreme-ist. I would say for example; I can be as crazily and hyped in a party but on the other hand, I like to be left at a cafe with some nice desserts and a book.

What turns you on?

Umm, you know guys who have both lines on the waist or hip? And wearing Calvin Klein boxers. Okay, that turns me on definitely! Chop Chop!

Craziest thing you’ve done?

Okay, I guess the crazy thing I thought of would be back in my secondary school days. It was so crazy, I actually left home with my group of girls clique and we literally didn’t go home for several days, all while in our school uniform. One of the days we were actually soaked with sea water because we went to Sentosa to play and we stayed overnight in the playground.

Favourite drink?

I would say plain water? Most of my friends call me a water bufflo because I can drink about three litres plus a day. And water is something that cures me from popping pimples and best of all, it is not even fattening and I am not a big fan of sweets.

Spit or swallow?

I would definitely choose to spit. Never allow myself to swallow something that I know myself is disgusting, smelly, or tastes weird. Definitely not going to spoil my stomach like that! Hahahah.

Sweet, Salty or a little bit of both?

A little bit of both definitely, if you cant have the best of both worlds entirely, then the bits of both worlds is awesome.

Which movie character best represents you?

Princess Fiona from Shrek. Because of her bravery at times and standing up for her rights! (Laughs)

Worst rejection you’ve faced?

Worst rejection probably would be from one of those days when I was still studying fashion design. My lecturer actually failed me five times on my sewing modules and even told me that if the shirt I made was selling on shelves, he would not even bother to take one look.

Must have in your wardrobe?

Deodorants. (HAHAHAHA) Nooo, dont get me wrong. I dont have BO in particular. But I don’t wish to smell stinky in any way at occasions or even events. No perfume to me is fine, as long as I smell good throughout the day which is the best thing already.

What’s sexy to you?

Sexy to me is about having that red hot lipstick and that eye and facial expression. I always feel that our eyes talk a lot, especially when I am taking a lingerie or an Artistic Implied shoot, it is not just about the poses but also about the eyes and facial expressions.
